He hadn’t seen the other man in so long and this was how he greeted him. By pushing him into the Gotham Bay. Was this how everyone was going to greet him nowadays? A certain psychologist had done the very same after all! But they forgot one thing. One important thing.

"You do realize I can swim?" he sneers, managing to get back on relatively dry land, dripping wet. "So, if that was some murder attempt, you just failed. And I suggest you run, run as far as your little legs can take you, Edward. I’ll even give you a head start, grab my scythe and all that."

Jonathan, gaining some footing once the other's anxiety became apparent, stepped toward him quickly, shoulders forward, and intending to invade his space as he barreled over.

"Don't do it again," he threatened, towering tall over the other.

Edward jumped back and his eyes flashed brightly from shock. Pulling his hand back against his chest he looked around the room as if planning an escape. “Oh…um…sorry. It’s just….those don’t look…well I…um…I probably shouldn’t have poked you. I’m sorry.” The lights in his eyes continued to move and flash from embarrassment and a bit of fear at upsetting the other.
