the narrator from the stanley parable as one of the scrybes in inscryption. this idea is not fleshed out at all but i just wanna see them interact so badly lol

he’s like leshy in terms of his flair for dramatics and how much he values storytelling, but the way he approaches it is so similar to how p03 approaches gameplay. he doesn’t just care about the story (if you pick up stuff around his set the way you do in leshy’s cabin and attempt to use it, he definitely would not let you the way leshy does. “no no no, where did you get that? that isn’t part of the game, i’m confiscating it--”). he cares about his ideal story. i could 100% imagine him ranting to grimora about the player not doing what he wants while she just sips tea and occasionally gives a noncommittal “hm.” narrator playtesting with leshy and giving each other comments and critiques on their stories, both civil and polite yet not taking ANY of each other’s advice. he’d absolutely have arguments with p03 just because p03 will needle him about his strategy and he HAS to defend it. i have no idea how he’d interact with magnificus other than not understanding how to play his card game and them being slightly judgmental about each other’s sense of aesthetics.

(also, i love the idea of the narrator’s cards all having references to the stanley parable. the adventure line™ with sprinter and bifurcated strike sigils, the bucket destroyer with steel trap and/or touch of death. the figurines are definitely cards though i have no idea what they would do. he gives you the option to choose the bucket as one of your starting cards, and he also gives unsolicited advice on which paths you should take whenever you play.)

I’m rewatching Labyrinth and I already know I’m going to make this about Tim Drake.

Bruce gets Damian as a baby, and makes Tim watch him while he goes out on the more dangerous missions.

Tim throws a fit and says the whole ‘Ugh, I wish someone would just take you far away from me!’ bit and then League assassins kidnap Damian.

Tim tracks down Ra’s and threatens him and Ra’s tells him, “Ah, but Detective… I’m doing you a favor. I heard you, you know. Just think how much better life will be when you don’t have to worry about taking care of my grandson.”

“…I appreciate what you’re trying to do, but I really need my brother back.”

Ra’s stares at him for a few moments. “How disappointing. I suppose you’ll just have to find him, then.”

And that’s the last thing Tim remembers before waking up in the labyrinth. He walks forward for a few moments before he sees a figure training with a sword in a courtyard.

The figure turns and Tim spots bright green eyes and a streak of white in a head of black.

“Oh, Replacement. It’s you.”

Sometimes I feel like I’m part of the few people in this fandom who is obsessed with these books in a normal way.

I love Rhys and Nesta. I love Azriel and Lucien and Mor and Elain. I love Cassian and Amren and Varian. I love Gwyn. I love Emerie. I love Jurian. I love Vassa! I love everyone.

I ship Elain and Azriel, and I believe they’re going to get the next book. I love Elriel but I also really love what Elucien could be and I read Elucien fic and I make art for them!! I’ve read Gwynriel fics because my amazing writer friends wrote them, and they are incredible.

I love some characters a lot more than others for sure, but I’ve never dedicated my entire blog to being anti-anything.

I hope this reaches the right audience. I want to make more friends who like and ship different things than me because I love seeing why people enjoy them so much. If something makes you happy, hell yeah I wanna know why!

This isn’t a joke. I want to be friends with people who have different likes than me. But every time I go and follow someone who likes a different ship than me, their blog is full of negativity towards everything and everyone else. :(
