Have you ever met any of your followers in real life?

-Yes! I made connections with a few followers during Covid lockdowns and afterwards we remained close (we all still message daily). Anyway, one is a fic writer turned 'real' author from Colorado. I've had writing retreats and many cocktails with her. When we are in the same location, we try to coordinate.

My other friend is in the San Francisco area, while I was there for work, we connected for dinner. There is a plan in 2024 for all of us to visit Liverpool together 💜

Can you tell us the most important lesson you've learned yourself.

Setting boundaries has been a major challenge for me in the past. Since turning 40, I'm taking charge of my wellbeing and working on saying no. As a natural 'people pleaser', this has been a work in progress.
