I still cant believe that Simon was so intimidated by matteo in season 1 cause matteo was like 17 and Simon maybe 19/20 and i still wonder if gaston won the bet or not

To be honest, Matteo was always arguing with Simón from the beginning. He made it pretty clear he didn't like Simón.

I wouldn't say he was intimidated by Matteo but he definitely had a hard time not getting along with Matteo. Simón gets along with everyone and are nice to him and then this boy shows up and insults him, he's not used to it. Matteo was just acting like a jerk towards him and it was probably hard to deal with that, especially because Simón has no idea where Matteo's hostility towards him came from.

I'm pretty sure the bet was off once Gastón noticed Matteo was actually falling for Luna but if we're thinking of it as it still being on during the entire first season, Gastón would have won the bet because Matteo constantly asked her out before he actually fell for her and she continued to say no. They never had a real date in the first season, they would meet each other by coincidence and walk together, they studied together, they danced together but they weren't each other's date, they had talks but I never considered them dates.

I believe they only went on a date once they officially got together in the second half of season 2.

It's been a while since I watched the show but you can tell me if I'm wrong.

I can't shake this idea of a fic where the events between s2 and s3 are explained. Because some characters get a complete overhaul in mindset without any explanation (*cough* Simon *cough*). Plus Gaston just leaves without a goodbye party and that just doesn't sit well with me. He deserved better.

13. Favorite romance novel

It's been a while since I read a book that was mainly romance but my favorite one is probably In Lucia's Eyes from Arthur Japin. Which is originally a dutch book (also read it in the original language) but the book is about Casanova's first Love Lucia. It's somewhat of a tragic story but it did have a happy ending and it was a really nice read.

74. Favorite love triangle

That would be Will/Tessa/Jem from the shadowhunter trilogy The Infernal Devices (one of my favorite trilogies). Just because it was a different take on a live triangle and I liked both the couples Jem/Tessa and Will/Tessa which barely happens. The way the love triangle ended was also unique and it made me cry but it's also satisfying how they handle it in the end. It made me feel all kinds of emotions and that's why I love it so much.
