"What the hell did I just walk into?"

Jughead looks up from his panels scattered on the floor of their shared apartment and sees Tabitha, holding a bag of Pops takeout.

He stumbles as he stands. "Tabs, I had the greatest flow in my writing career."

He watches as she places the takeout bag on the kitchen counter and stares at the papers spread on the ground. She turns to him with a smile. "That's amazing!" She squats to pick up one of his panels. "Can I read it?

"Of course," he replies immediately, walking to the kitchen counter, and grabbing the takeout bag. "Although you might have to reassemble some puzzle pieces, to put it."

"Really, Jones? Puzzle pieces?” she teases, but then she thinks contented thoughts that are definitely not for Jughead to hear.

He nods. "Yeah, I got a little obsessed with my pages today. Sorry about the mess."

Tabitha, who has now finished collecting all his pages, turns to him. "No, don't be sorry. I'm really happy you're writing again." She looks at the papers in her hand. "Or, well, drawing."

"Is that a mockery of my talent I'm detecting?" He sits at the square table, motioning for Tabitha to do the same.

She does. "No mockery at all, just think about finding someone to do the art for you if this comic does end up being your next big book?"

He takes her free hand. "I love that you're concerned for me, Tabby. But I'll figure something out when I get there." He looks at his own pages. "And yeah, maybe I should hire a professional artist."

"Thank you for not wallowing in your stubbornness," she jokes.

Before he can protest, Tabitha gestures to his mini-manuscript and thinks I'm reading.

Jughead shakes his head at her. He respects her, though, and lets her read in silence, minus the wrinkling of him opening the paper-wrapped burger.

After she has finished reading and he has finished eating, Tabitha smiles at him, which is his cue that it's okay to read her mind again.

"I loved it," she says, holding out her hands. Jughead knows what she wants and puts his own hands into hers.

"And you're not just saying that?"

"Oh my God, no," she assures, brushing her fingers gently with his. "I genuinely believe that this could be published one day. Please, keep writing."

He smiles back at her. "Mockery to flattery." He pretends to ponder it. "Yeah, I can live with that."

'i love you' fic game- jabitha- “Fine, you can use me as a pillow.”

“You didn’t wash the pillows?”

Jughead looks up from doing the dishes. “No, I thought it was your week?”

Tabitha groans internally. While Jughead was great at doing everyday tasks for her, he always forgot at least one thing, like washing the sheets and pillowcases and more importantly, the pillows themselves.

“Well, it’s too late to clean them for tonight now,” she says, trying not to make Jughead feel guilty.

He wraps his arms around her. “I apologize for not taking my duties seriously.”

She glares at him playfully. “I guess I have to forgive you.” A thought quickly occurs to her and she hopes he doesn’t hear it.

Although she knows it’s impossible that he can’t not hear her. She sees a look on his face. “No, no no. I know what your thinking.”

Tabitha pouts her lips. “Please, Jug? Pleaseeee?”

He rolls his eyes. “Fine, you can use me as a pillow,” he promises. “But only this once because I forgot to do my chores that come with dating you.”

She claps her hands and pecks his cheek. “Thanks, Jughead.”

Tabitha is already dressed in her nightgown when Jughead stumbles in, somehow exhausted enough to be rubbing his eyes in sleep.

“Okay, do you want to use my chest?” he asks, falling onto their bed and pushing the covers back.

She sits with him and lays down, pulling the covers and sheets over her and Jughead’s bodies. Tabitha doesn’t answer his question verbally, just lays her head onto him.

She looks up at him. “You should forget to clean the pillows more often,” she says, but then she hears his soft snoring and feels the rise and fall of his chest against her head and smiles.

Tabitha closes her eyes, falling asleep to Jughead’s snores, and the thought that she couldn’t be any luckier than she was in this moment.

hugs or hand-holding?: personally ive never really held anyones hand romantically and im not a hugger at all i actually get uncomfortable when people put their arms around me unless I ask for it so I guess I need to go with hand-holding platonically

how are you?: im really tired right now like I need to sleep but I want to finish/work on more fic asks and everything but my phones annoying me so much and i didn’t have as good a day I wanted to for my competition today even though I know this is so hard to do and I put way too much pressure on myself but I need to stop and I hate my brain for that and it’s so fun breaking down but other then crisis of not feeling good enough im fine :)

what’s your ideal date?: just movies probably. im very unromantic (im literally aro like no romance for me) (also im not mad you asked me this cause I’d still go on a date!! just not i the romantic sense) so I don’t need anything fancy to impress me. you can probably give me food and I’ll be your loyal friend forever like idk im like that sometimes but just movies with a friend and maybe dinner but not super fancy dinner

hi!!! visiting places questions are something so hard for me sometimes because I never know where I wanna go :( but it really makes me think. i guess if i had jugheads portal powers could go anywhere right now, I’d say that I’d go to Italy. my sister was watching love & gelato and I found the scenery really pretty!

who’s your least favourite POV to write in?: I don’t have a least favourite that I’ve written so far but I think the hardest for me was archie back in January like it was hard to get his character right for me

He slumps on the couch even further. “Why won’t the universe let me eat Italian with you for one night?”

i think this is funny :) i also havent technically started this fic but shhhh

one hundred percent jughead. he stays up too late writing, doing nothing, wakes up at the latest times possible. also tabitha because she just wants to stay up with jughead sometimes and she doesn’t get any sleep if she’s not sleeping before he starts writing

ive stated this many times in my fics that tabitha owns a truck because i said so. however i also think her having a truck was some defiance against her parents #rebelstage anyway she started driving a truck because her parents (who i presume are sophisticated riverdale ex-citizens) and they bought her a sweet car. tabitha was like "well why a car? why not a truck?" and her parents were like "GASP you would never own a truck we are tates" (this was when she was a teen in Chicago) SO once she grew older she bought the truck she wanted because 1) rebel rebel girl and 2) she felt the truck fit her better than any car would so she swore of cars for good after that <3

22. Favourite part about writing fanfiction?

posting the work. theres something so fulfilling about finishing something and then posting that work and then people are like "of love this piece" and your like "i spent months on this thanks so much" like posting works and them being enjoyed is so fulfilling

45. A fic you look forward to writing in the future?

i have so many ideas (a bunch of small ideas) that i cant express, right now I'm planning for jabitha week so a lot of my ideas are focused on that but i also want to write a piece after the release of 6x19 the jabitha ugh

48. How do you deal with coming up with titles?

a lot of my titles are song lyrics. i hear the song and think "oh that'd be a great fic title" then i work off it. or i have an idea but i cant think of a title so i listen super carefully to lyrics and try and find lyrics that fit. for fics that arent song titled, i usually have the idea for the fic, write the fic and as i write the fic i use a passage i like so i make that the title
