listen i am not 'in fandom' i dont go anywhere i just lurk but i will say the most insidious thing i see in the art side of fandom is where there are guys who are clearly old and fat and kind of round faced and wrinkly and have receding hairlines who everyone claims are beloved characters and then u go to look at the art and its like. who is that person. that is not the guy. you've smoothed him out and de-aged him. youve uke-fied him. you dont love that man you love an imaginary concept of him

genma's kinda a helicopter dad, huh? rushes in for no apparent reason (seriously why is he there?) while ranma's mid conversation to tell him off, then later as soon as it's raining genma's there with the kettle to drag him away
