Hello! |ω・)ノ May I request Hidetoshi (that skirt is too short! ha ha!), Bebe and Saori finding out that their s/o works at at maid cafe? Thank you!
Finding Out S/O Works at a Maid Cafe
Fandom: Persona 3
Character(s): Bebe, Hidetoshi, Saori
Type of Request: Headcanons
Note(s): Oh maid cafes, one of these days I'll go to one and be in heaven 😔
Tumblr media
Bebe
He's always wanted to go to a maid cafe! It's been on his bucket list while in Japan for a long time and so when he goes, he's so excited. He's made sure to save up some extra yen just to experience any specials or anything.
When he sees you walk out in the maid outfit, Bebe lets out the softest gasp. You're so adorable! He thought that going to a maid cafe would be fun by itself, but the fact that you work at one and get to serve him? Oh he's unbelievably happy.
Bebe has so many questions and compliments for you, but he also has to remind himself that you're working. So he'll be the upmost respectful. You absolutely have his full support, but maybe sometime you could make him an Omurice off the clock?
Hidetoshi
He had heard of other students going to a maid cafe to waste time and money and Hidetoshi decided to go to one to see if he recognizes other students there. While he doesn't care what they do in their free time, he also knows that they need to be more responsible and not be disrespectful just because of cute people in maid costumes.
Hidetoshi's eyes are so wide when you walk out in the maid outfit and greet him. You also look surprised to see him and he's quick to explain himself while keeping his eyes directly on your face, afraid of where they might land considering the costume you're in.
Oh he's definitely going to have a field day if he learns of any other students having you as their waitress and being disrespectful. You and him definitely have a lot to talk about later. He doesn't mind that you work at a maid cafe, but he wants to know what you've been requested to do and why your outfit has to be so short (it's honestly not that bad, but he doesn't like the idea of other's potentially leering at you).
Saori
She's definitely been interested in going to a maid cafe, but she's been busy with school and wanting to fit in. Considering her reputation is tanking a bit, she decides to say "to hell with it" and visit one, worst case scenario is she's recognized and more rumors spawn.
Saori happily sits down and looks around at how cute the interior is. Honestly, she wouldn't mind working part time at a place like this, it's adorable. Her eyes light up as a maid walks over to her table and a smile crosses her face when she recognizes you.
"You're very cute," she'd compliment you and let you do your job. Of course she wants to ask questions and give more compliments, but she also doesn't want to interrupt your work or potentially get you in trouble. You can bet that she'll spend a bit of extra money to get something cute on her omurice or to have a picture taken of the two of you. It'll definitely be framed in her room later.

saori crushing on you
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
pairing: saori hasegawa x gn!reader
tags: angst, anxious saori, bad reputations
Tumblr media
saori was foolish coward! she knew that better than anyone else…
she was too much of a coward to approach you and talk to you, but foolish enough to have a crush on you anyways!
she was constantly beating herself up about her cowardice. she always had a smile on her lips, seeming like she was fine. but deep inside, she was a mess
whenever you were near, saori caught herself staring at you. seeing you calmed her nerves, but it also pained her to know you were so close, yet so far away
saori knew that eventually, she'd have to confront you! she knew she couldn't just watch you from afar
if she did, her already bad reputation would only get worse and she'd be called a stalker…
but that bad reputation of hers was why she was so worried to approach you!
you must've heard all sort of lies about her by now. perhaps you didn't want to date or even befriend someone like her…

Saori Hidaka x F! Reader
Tumblr media Tumblr media
✮a/n: hihi my second d4dj request lets goo🗣️🔥🔥 i dont know much about Saoris character in general so i had to read like.. 2 of her character stories.. hopefully i didnt mischaracterize her, i hope you enjoy anon ;)) also.. has anyone here played wuwa? I played it too and I may or may not be planning on writing it? If my writing moots here write for wuwa, then maybe i'll also write for it?? I still havent done much though..
✮synopsis: it was your 2nd monthsary with your gf Saori! As she visits your place, she notices you talking to you.. other.. companion..
✮contains: not much, other than second hand embarrassment🤷‍♀️
Tumblr media
As you were doing your daily routine of talking to your feline friend, you were unaware of Saori who was standing by the door, watching, listening as you talked, once you acknowledge her existence you freaked out, so how did this happen excactly?
Saori knew you were that shy kid at school, everyone does, from child to young adult you were always shy, Saori would have to accompany you in every social gatherings, not that she hated it ofcourse.. Saori also knew that she was your safe space, meaning, you trusted Saori more than others, with Saori, you could be clingy, whiney, affectionate, touchy, etc. thats what made Saori think if herself as much special than others.
Today was your 2nd monthsary, Saori typically comes over to your place, now that she's free, she told her friends that she would be busy and cant attend practice.. thats okay though! They understand and let Saori go! Once Saori arrived to your place, she heard sounds of whispering, mumbling, sounds of someone talking.. did you have guests? That was.. unexpected.. whenever you invited someone, Saori would receive a text, saying how theres a guest on your place, Saori quietly opens the door, only to see you, and your cat... Talking?
"I.. just dont think a plushie will do justice.. she always buys me this.. amazing and nice gifts yet.. i buy her this.. do you think she'll like it..?" You ask your feline friend, who sleeps lazily like a potato on the sofa. "Meooow...!" You cat yawns, not understanding one bit. "I'll take that as a maybe.." you chuckle, turning your head back, only to see Saori standing there with a gift box.
"Eek! S-saori..! Since when did you get here..?!" You ask out of embarrassment, she could be here anytime she wants.. now was not a good timing. "A while ago.. listen.. (y/n) your gifts do matter.. even if its homemade, store brought or re-used item.. im still gonna love it" she assures you, walking over you to pat your shoulder. "I-i know.. the plushie was supposed to be a surprise when you get here.." you pouted, Saori only smiles reassuringly at you "thats okay, infact, im more eager to see your gift.." she sat down beside you and handed you your gift "happy monthsary love.!"
Tumblr media
Bonus:
"L-love..?! Where did you learn that..? Thats.. unusual coming from you.." you mumbled under your breath, Saori chuckles awkwardly" hehe, Rika taught me.. also.. do you talk to your cat everyday?" She asks, you simply nodded "yeah.. whenever im lost or confused, she somehow helped me.."you mutter as you pet your cat, your cat purring in satisfaction, Saori only smiles and pets your cat aswell

📣 — Saori x Reader Headcanons
Tumblr media
1.
Not good with compliments AT ALL, she will break down in tears of happiness bc she will not know how to handle them. At some point she'll get used to them though and be super happy about them :))
2.
She likes being held, it makes her feel protected. She's a BIG cuddler. Like an absolutely massive cuddler. Just the feeling of being held until you both eventually fall asleep warms her heart like a fire place.
3.
She's really bad at expressing her love for you, she's better at expressing it in actions rather than words. That probably explains why her love languages are physical affection and words of affirmation to be honest.
4.
Whenever she accidentally burns herself out, you'll most likely know. With you helping her out, she'll be back to normal very quickly. You always make sure to take care of her, just as she does to you. She doesn't know what she would do without you to be honest.
5.
Sometimes you'll be dragged to the club with the rest of m4, most likely unwillingly but Saori usually brings you along just in case anything ever goes wrong. Emotional support, yk?
6.
NSFW WARNING UP AHEAD
Ngl, she would be too nervous for sex often, maybe once every 2 months. She'd worry the whole time, she'd stop being stressed at some point though, because of course, the pleasure kicked in. I would say she's actually pretty good with her fingers, sometimes she'd slip up though and start panicking and apologizing, once you reassure her that you are okay though she'll go back to normal.
(( for tia :3 ))

Nicknames
ఌ | characters ➾ Merm4id X fem.reader
ఌ | TW ➾ None!
ఌ | pronouns ➾ you/yourself, feminine terms used!
Tumblr media Tumblr media Tumblr media
ఌ | ➾ Rika Seto
Okay she would unironically call you babygirl. And I personally love that. She would call you that in a disgustingly sweet way. Most likely just needs help with something.
Then she just calls you my girl around other people. Not even when she’s jealous but just because she feels like it.
“Me and my girl gotta go!” And then it’s just weird silence as she drags you away.
Also Girlie, she thinks it’s funny.
She also might call you random objects when she’s drunk. For example, pencil or even coat.
“Coat… I’m so cold. Coat, come here and warm me up!”
ఌ | ➾ Marika Mizushima
She plays it cool. She always uses your name unless when she’s trying to be sweet.
She already called Rika good girl so that’s on the list.
She watches out for what you like and what you don’t. She’s very careful about that. She calls you darling in public but like very rarely. But it makes everyone raise their heads and rethink what she just said.
Then she has you saved in her phone as Princess, but she doesn’t want you to know. It’s a bit embarrassing for her.
“My sweet doll, wake up.” She only uses that in private. The way she says it is so cute and sweet!!
ఌ | ➾ Saori Hidaka
Pet names are a new thing for her. She never ever thought they were needed. She mentally gags and looks away whenever she sees a couple call each other “babe” or “darling.”
But sometimes, deep down, she doesn’t want to admit it. She wants to be called these “cringy couple” pet names. It depends on the delivery for her. If it’s awkward then she’s gonna look away and take a deep breath.
But if it works then she’s also gonna look away and take a deep breath. For similar reasons, she’s conflicted on many levels.
The closest you’ll ever get to a pet name outta her is “my girlfriend”/“my partner.”
ఌ | ➾ Dalia Matsuyama
She’s pretty normal with the pet names. She calls you babe and babygirl. She doesn’t think it’s a big deal when she does. It’s what couples do after all.
She doesn’t hesitate because it’s nothing to be shy about. You’re dating and it’s okay to be open about it.
She probably has some sort of inside joke as your contact name in her phone.
She might laugh if you start calling her any pet names but some mention it but she will be very giggly about it because she’s happy!

tags: ex!husband gojo x reader, gojo and reader both have a 3 y/o, flashback to making out, slight angst, satoru's father being on our side (maybe?), mentions of children, satoru slightly jealous, satoru and reader co-parenting
wc: 2.3k
part 1, part 2, part 3, part 4
Tumblr media
You want the ground to eat you alive when you see your ex-husband, satoru making pancakes with your daughter as he once promised the night before. Saori, your three-year-old, is innocently unaware of the sexual tension from last night; mesmerized by the array of toppings in front of her.
“I, uh...” you feel awkward for intervening during this father-daughter moment. “If you need me, I’ll be taking a shower.” you add, “be good with papa, saori, ok?” when you see the two of them nod, like spitting images of one another, your cheeks tighten. making you turn your heel to the bathroom.
“make a heart for mama,” you hear your daughter giggle as your ex-husband's voice instructs, making you sigh as you’re already at the bathroom’s door.
(flashback from last night):
You don’t know what pulls you in, but you kiss him. hungrily. feverishly as your lips move against his as if he were yours, something you had decided to allow yourself to have. just this once. Satoru instinctively kisses you back, wrapping his arms tightly around your waist so as to not let you go. as if you would evaporate into thin air like smoke. he had to keep you with him, couldn’t let you leave. he didn’t want you to, not with the way you kiss him, the way your pretty fingers glide along his undercut just the way he likes it as your fingertips tug on his hair making him see stars. Your ex-husband takes the chance to press you against the wall. placing his thigh between your own, he allows his hands to travel up and down your sides, making you shiver ever so slightly as you pull him closer. the familiar heat and throbbing sensation within you pull him closer, not caring if you’d burn in the process. “Satoru...” you sigh against his lips. I want you. It’s a game of tug and pull, your mind urging you to him as he does nothing to pull back. and suddenly, you're reminded where you are. who you’re with, why you’re here, and the situation between you both makes you feel all the shame you would. you can't do this. you can’t call him yours, can’t murmur those three words, can’t do what you’d imagine in the late hours of the night. not when he's this close and this real to you. he wasn’t yours, and the realization was as bitter as your departure. “I have to go,” you exhale, pushing him away. no matter how weak your push was, satoru is off of you in an instant. pupils blown and lips swollen as he watches you walk away. heart and mind throbbing as he’s too dizzy to do anything. he’s frozen. unsure of what’s happened between the two of you. so he lets you go. even if he doesn’t want to let you. you force yourself to walk to your room where your daughter peacefully sleeps, closing the door behind you as you lean against it. eyes shut as you wrap your arms around you, releasing a small sigh of what feels like mixed want and possibly regret. what the hell did you just do?
When you return from your shower you find your daughter happily aid her father in setting up the table.
“mommy!” you daughter calls you, ecstatic over the pancakes set in display on the table, “say good morning to daddy!” and for a moment you want to slap yourself for educating your child so well. teaching her to always greet everyone with kindness. waving to satoru feels like a royal obligation before he simply waves back, resuming his attention to your daughter, explaining the different toppings he’s sorted out on the table. he whispers something to her. "... and have mommy choose her own toppings, 'kay princess?"
princess. you suddenly feel hot as you look away. grateful your daughter and ex-husband were too busy on the plates to notice you walk towards the kitchen, oddly reaching for a cold glass of water instead of coffee.
"everything okay?" you nearly jump, noticing your husband walk behind you. he reaches for a tablecloth inside a nearby cabinet.
"y-yeah, just a bit dehydrated." you explain, "your father's party will be inside, correct?"
"yes." satoru replies, "he mentioned something about having an indoor bouncy house. probably for all the kids coming."
"I didn't know you could do that, have them inside, I believe. bouncy houses were normally always outside when I was a kid. that or establishments would have them indoors."
"yeah, well I guess we'll just have to wait and see. I'm pretty sure my dad just made the arrangments inside so saori won't get sunburn. the weather forecast for today says it'll be warmer than usual."
"yeah," you chuckle dryly. "must be why I need more water." you awkwardly raise your glass a bit before looking over your shoulder, watching how your daughter neatly picks her strawberries, decorating them around her plate. "she seems to be having fun."
"yeah," your husband turns as well, "that's the goal, isn't it?"
you nod.
"we should probably join her." you say, walking past him, "wouldn't want her to feel too alone, would we?"
Tumblr media
"are you still trying?" satoru is suddenly pulled from his thoughts by his father who holds his daughter, smothering her in affection while your ex-husband watches you across the room laugh politely at something higuruma, his father's soon-to-be lawyer, says. too close for his liking.
"yeah," he murmurs, slightly annoyed. he quickly offers you a carefree, reassuring smile when you turn to see him, eyes looking for your daughter as you stand across the room. relax, he tells you with his smile, she's fine.
your motherly stare and sigh makes his stomach swirl, shortly before you've returned to converse with hiromi while satoru turns to his father. "sorry, what did you say?"
"I said," his father enunciates, "this is my favorite grandchild."
"well, she's your only grandchild."
"I know, and I should blame you for these shortcomings. I thought I'd have another by now. it's one of the things that is wrong with your generation, your perception of divorce. when I was your age, marriage was forever. through thick and thin. not this." and satoru can only sigh, reminiscing of times where he too thought forever was with you.
(flashback):
"sounds like somebody loves me." "somebody does," satoru grins, tightening the grip around your waist as the two of you lay in soft sheets, away from the world in a last-minute romantic weeklong getaway trip. he smiles, "and somebody said yes to marrying me. lucky girl." "is she?" the humor in your tone makes him laugh. "I don't know... I think she's very brave to do that, sacrificing herself, what a hero." he chuckles, "maybe... maybe she deserves a statue? a medal?" "a bracelet would be just fine after that ring you just got me." you grin. "silver or gold?" "oh, you know me. white gold obviously." "I know. I just love that look in your eyes when I do that to you." "do what?" "mess with you." "you're so mean." "I know, but you love me." "unfortunately," he dramatically gasps at your word, making you stifle a laugh. "I'm kidding, satoru. just... be nice for the rest of the night. will you?" "can do, princess," he grins, "want me to get you that new purse you saw at the mall the other day?" "you don't have to buy my feelings, you know." "I know, but I like making you feel like you can get anything you want. especially from me." he kisses the top of your head, "that's my job." "and mine?" "to love me, of course. and to feel loved." "anything else?" he hums. "maybe give me a baby. if we're both ready, that is." "you really want one?" "with you? of course. not to mention you'd look beautiful all swollen..." he kisses your cheek, "...sensitive..." he kisses your chest, squeezes your hip, "godly... and they say women have a pregnancy glow." "mmm... what if I don't have a glow? what if I'm all-" "impossible. you already have a glow. always. pregnant or not. besides, how could I not worship you when you're carrying my child? you're doing the most important job of all, and I'd love you regardless. baby or not." "you're doing too much satoru." "mm... that's because I love you." "you do" you whisper, cupping the back of his head, fingers between his locks as you pull him closer, "so so much."
(flashback):
"do you think we'll last forever?" you ask, softly above a whisper in the comfort of your shared bed. it had been 3 days since your arrival to tahiti, a week-long romantic getaway where satoru proposed on your first night of arrival. too lovesick to wait. as you're laid at his side, satoru takes your hand and kisses your fingertips, lazily at the back of your hand. "why do you say that?" he tries to mask his tone with humor, "already having second thoughts after I proposed?" "no, no. not at all," you blush, "I just... I worry, is all, satoru. you know how things happen." "you know they can't go wrong. not when I love you like this," he says, rising up to place soft kisses behind your ear, "not when I've proposed already. even my dad knows, you know. so it's serious." "he... he does?" "of course," he holds back a laugh, "he mentioned marriage the minute you left, first time he saw you." he chuckles, "even the stars might be in our favor. everyone might as well be." you hum, holding him close as you nod, mindlessly basking in the warmth he gives you. "are you having second thoughts?" "no... just... worried for the future." you admit, "sometimes... I feel like I'm dreaming when I'm with you. like I'm bound to wake up and all that I've grown to love will one day disappear." you chuckle nervously, "sorry. it's the nerves." "we'll be fine," he reassures you, "and don't apologize. this is probably my fault for not reassuring you enough. so why don't you lay back and enjoy yourself while I make my future wife feel good, yeah?" he kisses the crown of your head, "it's about time I please my girl, mm?"
Tumblr media
not much happens that day. saori's grandfather treats you kindly as possible, and as much as you try to deny it, you suspect he's upset with satoru over something. you worry it must be about him staying over with you, or the fact that he has a girlfriend and he stayed over his ex-wife's. you worry his father might see you differently, but the man treats you all but the same. taking time to ask what saori's interests have been now that she's older. satoru's father makes a mental note, keeping his granddaughter's interests as ideas for future gifts. the man held some likeness to satoru; he loved giving gifts. it was one of the few things that tied father and son alike.
"how has he been with you, now that you're co-parenting?" your father in law asks. from a distance, you watch satoru nod at something nanami kento, the finances leader department chair, says. the two of them were moderate friends. you'd known since he was invited to your wedding. it wasn't until after your divorce that you've stopped speaking with him. your social groups have all shifted as a result.
"he's been fine," you tell him, "we... we try to be flexible about it. I don't want us to be like most stereotypical divorced parents. making our child choose one or the other or imposing damaging habits," you say, feeling yourself go on autopilot as you hold your daughter. she seems to be wanting to take a nap. "satoru and I try to make it work."
"forgive me for asking," your in law gently intrudes, "but... what of his mistress? has he-"
"-he's been doing his best," you tell him. "he... I don't really get into his other personal affairs, but..." you bite the inside of your cheek and swallow, feeling dryness in your throat. "he seems to be serious with her."
"and... do you mind?"
"I worry about saori." you tell him. "all I care is about her. I just..." you sigh, trying to find the right words, "I just worry about her one day feeling like she was the spare child, or her feeling cast aside." you furrow your brows. "I don't know what I'm supposed to do as a mother, and I don't know what satoru plans to do either." you pause. "I just don't want to overwhelm him, I suppose. with work, being a dad, and navigating a relationship, I..."
"you worry about making him feel like he's got too much on his plate."
"yeah." you exhale, "the last thing I want is to distance us more than what we are." following your eyes, your in law speaks.
"I understand your concern. from what I've known, my son was always in love with you, and I'm certain he still carries some of that love for you and your child. my question is, would you consider starting fre- oh," your in law pauses, surprised to greet his son. "you've returned."
"it's almost 3." satoru says, turning to you, "saori's nap time. has she...?"
"she wants to, but she's kind of struggling with the ambience of so many people around her..."
"I can take her to bed," your ex-husband suggests, "my dad has a private room above this floor. we can have her rest there."
"then I'll go with you," you say, standing as you carry your daughter. "I'm a bit tired myself, if that's alright."
"no, yeah." your ex-husband thoroughly nods, motioning you to join him, "I'll show you where, yeah? I suppose I could also use the minute. this room feels a bit stuffed," and when you turn to face your in law, you note he's already gone. wondering if he's left to talk to another executive or grant his son a minute alone with his ex-wife in hopes of...
"just follow me," he says, and you do.

Satoru Gojo
[Chapter 29] Growing Family
← Previous Chapter - Story Masterlist
Tumblr media Tumblr media
Pairing: Satoru Gojo x f!Reader
Discord +18 - Twitter - Ko-Fi
*this is really the last chapter, thanks for sticking with me in this cute adventure🥹
Tumblr media
Seven years after Seiji is born, you constantly find yourself thinking about destiny and your first discussion with Satoru about it. Neither of you are sure, but you’re happy that this is how your life turned out. You love waking up next to him as his wife and proceeding to start off your day with him and your kids. With your seven-year-old Seiji and your five-year-old Saori.
You both have teaching jobs– Of course, they’re very different. Satoru teaches three teenagers, one of them being Megumi, while you teach a classroom full of at least twenty second graders. Satoru always tells you that you’re one of the reasons he decided he wanted to become a teacher, apart from the part that he’s the strongest (you still have no idea what he means) and that’s his duty. You have a much bigger home than before; yet neither Megumi nor Tsumiki live with you anymore so many rooms are empty, however, considering the fact that you have two young children, the house is still very lively.
Satoru still had a great idea to fill up the empty rooms, and that’s how you find yourself expecting your third child with him. You swear to Satoru this is the last baby you’ll have, but that’s what you said when you gave birth to Saori. It’s easy to forget how bad pregnancy and childbirth are when you watch Satoru being the best possible father to your kids.
“Daddy, can you help with my homework?” Seiji asks, even though you’re the one that teaches his grade level and knows what his teacher is teaching. Apparently you’re great at explaining things but daddy just does it better, and you feel your eyes roll to the back of your head as you watch Seiji approach his father with the notebook.
“Sure thing, buddy. Wait till Saori finishes with my nails.” Satoru answers, watching as his daughter paints his pinky nail a blue color. She was going for pink since it’s her favorite color but then she decided that blue would match his eyes (in reality she couldn’t find the pink nail polish and didn’t want to admit that she lost it). It’s fine though, her father will just buy her another one. “Wow, look at you. You’re doing such a great job.”
“I know.” Saori answers, so focused on not making a mess and painting her father’s whole finger. Satoru manipulates his infinity every time that she’s clearly about to paint his whole finger.
“Saori, will you hurry up?” Seiji asks, clearly annoyed. He wants to get finished with his homework so he can watch TV, since you told him he could watch his show after he was finished with homework. You offered to help, but he turned you down.
“Don’t rush your sister, Seiji.” Satoru says, and he watches how Saori sticks her tongue out at her brother, causing Satoru to sigh. “Don’t stick your tongue out at your brother, Saori.”
“I can help you, Seiji.” You pop into the living room, where your husband and kids are. You find yourself bored for once in your life because Satoru took care of everything.
“It’s okay.” Seiji responds, making you pout. He does usually accept your help, but during your third pregnancy you’ve been a victim of pregnancy brain. You don’t think you’ve ever felt dumber, so stupid that even your seven-year-old notices.
“Saori, honey, will you paint my nails next.” You say and she perks up. For the first time Satoru fails, not turning his infinity on and getting nail polish all over his finger. She smiles brightly and nods her head.
“I’m done with you, daddy.” Saori tells her father, and he laughs as he looks at the unfinished hand. He stands up and walks over to Seiji to help him with his homework. You take Satoru’s seat and extend your hand to your daughter. “Do you want blue as well, mommy?”
“What other colors do you have?” You ask.
“I used to have pink.” She replies, which makes you laugh. She doesn’t have it anymore so you don’t see the point in bringing it up. She begins to paint your nails, and she’s awfully concentrated until she finally speaks up, “When’s my baby brother or sister getting here?”
“Around two more months.” You answer. You’re due in December, a little while after Satoru’s birthday. A month after her birthday. “Are you excited to be a big sister, honey?”
“Yeah.” She answers. She’s focused, therefore, she can’t talk. You stare at her, watch how concentrated she is. She has to push her white hair out of her face since it covers her vision. The more you stare at her, the more you realize how neither of your kids look like you and you hope that the third time around you give birth to your twin. “When’s my birthday?”
“In a month.” You respond since you won’t count down the weeks until her sixth birthday. You can’t believe just how fast she’s growing up, it feels just like yesterday when you found out that you were pregnant with your baby girl. You smile, watching as she paints your whole finger. Satoru has shown you his infinity, yet you still find yourself surprised how she never messes up Satoru’s nails. “Woah, you completely missed the nail there.”
“Sorry.” She apologizes yet she continues to make the same mistake. You aren’t paying too much attention to it, you just listen to Satoru explain to your son how to do his homework. You’re sure that you could explain it better, but you still smile. You never really thought you’d be here seven years later, but here you are.
You wouldn’t have it any other way.
-
Satoru isn’t the type of man that goes to bed early– Well, he wasn’t. Up until he had two babies under two and ever since he had to handle a very energetic Seiji and a crybaby Saori, he’s been going to bed since eight at night. When you put both of your kids to bed, you both go to bed as well. His head barely touches the pillow and he’s passed out.
This specific night though, when his head touches the pillow, a scream comes from his daughter’s room and he sprints out of bed and to her room. He literally just put her to bed, there’s no way that she already had a nightmare. Seiji isn’t much of a prankster either so he’s ready to kill just about anyone.
Satoru finds his little girl with her knees to her chest. She buries her head in her knees, and she covers her ears. Satoru looks around, turning on the light. He’s about to ask what’s wrong since his eyes don’t see anything, but he feels the energy. His eyes land on the half open closet and he begins to walk towards it.
“Is everything okay, Saori–” Seiji comes running into the room after hearing his sister scream. He’s much slower than his father, but regardless he’s here.
“Go to your room, Seiji. Take your sister.” Satoru orders and Seiji does as instructed, even though it takes some effort to get Saori out of the room but he succeeds. Satoru fully opens the closet and a sigh leaves his body seeing the small curse. Nothing scary to him, but surely scary for his baby girl.
He exorcizes the curse with no issue before walking out of the room and going to Seiji’s room. Seiji comforts his little sister, who’s trying to hide under the blue blanket that Seiji let her borrow. There’s a frown on Satoru’s face as he walks over to his babies and sits on the edge of the twin bed. He engulfs his kids in a hug.
“I’m sorry you saw that, Saori.” Satoru mutters. He feels guilty that the curse that he holds is passed down to his children. He’s known they can see them, but he tries to protect them as much as he can. Sometimes he can’t though. Satoru’s parents want him to start training his son as well, after all, Seiji is a descendent of the Gojo clan but Satoru doesn’t want to do that. He wants his kids to be free of this all.
That’s not his decision to make though.
“Everything’s gonna be okay while daddy is here.” Satoru reassures them. He kisses the top of their heads, and just holds them while he can.
“What happened?” You show up a little too late. Getting up from your bed is the hardest exercise that you face lately. Satoru chuckles, it’s not like you’re really going to understand anyway. He doesn’t want you to.
“The kids are sleeping with us tonight, honey.” Satoru says, picking both Seiji and Saori from the bed and carrying them to your bedroom. You slowly follow behind, already out of breath by simply getting up from bed and going to Seiji’s bedroom.
When you stand in the doorway, you watch how Satoru tucks them in the middle of the bed, filling their faces up with kisses. Maybe it wasn’t exactly planned, but you’re glad you’re with him and the fact that he’s the father of your kids. Now, as his wife, you can’t imagine spending the rest of your days with someone else and you can’t imagine a father more perfect than him– Of course he has his flaws but they hardly poke through.
He often asks if you think he’s doing well as a parent, worried that he’s messing everything up. You can’t even begin to say how proud you are of him, and how you think he’s a far better parent than you are. He loves to remind them that their father is always there to help them, protect them, and love them. Maybe that’s why you agreed to have a third child with him, plus the process is always fun.
“I love you two so much.” Satoru says, and while he should lay down with them, he’s no longer tired, and when he looks back at you it seems like you aren’t tired anymore either. “We’ll be right back, do you want to watch some TV for a bit?”
They nod their heads and Satoru turns the television on. They’re too agitated to go to sleep as well. Letting them stay up for half an hour isn’t the end of the world. He then walks over to you, and throws his arm over your shoulder. You walk out of the room and go downstairs to the living to sit down for a moment and talk. It’s rare that you find yourself alone to just talk.
When you take a seat, a moan leaves your lips, and he furrows his brow. You grab his hand and put it over your belly, and your baby doesn’t waste time kicking. No matter how many times he’s felt it, it always amazes him. He always looks so in awe, and he doesn’t remove his hand until his baby kicks a couple more times. He then pecks your lips, muttering, “Thank you so much for this.”
“Enjoy it while it lasts because this is the last time we’ll have a kid.” You tell him, and he sweetly smiles at you, pecking your lips again. You rest your head on his shoulder for a minute, and he enjoys the moment. You appreciate the unusual silence. You’ve gotten used to so much noise, and you’ll grow to miss it if you sit in silence for too long. You still appreciate it.
“How’s Kaya?” He asks, interrupting the silence.
“She’s planning the baby shower. She’s going crazy.” You respond, and you hear him chuckle.
“Isn’t she due soon? She shouldn’t be stressing over a baby shower.” He says and you hum in response. You wouldn’t know either way, you opted out for a baby shower the second time around since you were already stressed enough planning a wedding and handling Seiji. Every time you’re reminded, you laugh due to the fact that your father was right about the fact that Satoru would knock you up months after Seiji’s birth.
“She’s due around Halloween– Maybe two weeks before Saori’s birthday.” You answer. That’s so soon, Satoru only prays that her water doesn’t break during the baby shower and that he has to handle all the chaos. Satoru knows Daisuke is absolutely freaking out about it all; Satoru knows that feeling all too well, he’s still freaking out even though this is his third baby.
“Our baby will finally have a little cousin this time around.” Satoru comments and you chuckle. Seiji didn’t need a cousin, he had his younger sister. This new baby doesn’t though, and you’re adamant on not having more kids which he understands since he’s not the one that carries them for nine months.
“What ended up happening in the kid’s room?” You ask, and Satoru takes a long minute to answer. There’s no point in lying. He lied so much to you when you first met, he can’t do that anymore while you’re his wife. You swore you’d leave him if you ever caught him in a lie again, and now he tells you the truth even when you can’t see it. He doesn’t see the point in telling you a problem that you can’t solve.
“Well… Uhm… A curse.” He answers, and you remove your head from his shoulder. You slowly nod your head in response, and you aren’t really sure how to answer that other than,
“Oh yeah…” There’s some things that you’ll never understand about them nor about your husband. You don’t like to think about the fact that there are some issues that you’ll never be able to help them out with, only Satoru can help them.
You sit in absolute silence for a minute as you get lost in your thoughts. Satoru watches you, wondering what goes on in your mind.
“Are you okay?” He asks, and you sigh. You can’t try to play it off as if you’re okay because you expect him to remain honest with you, it’s hypocritical to lie to him.
“Yeah, it’s just… What if you aren’t around and a similar issue comes up. How would I handle that?” You ask, and he wraps his arm around you, bringing you in for a hug. He kisses the top of your head, his hand going down to rest on your belly. “I just feel useless for some stuff, Satoru.”
“You aren’t useless, baby.” He responds. He doesn’t want for you to think about this– He doesn’t want to think that you’re useless in any way. It makes him recall an incident from five years ago, and he hid the truth to not worry you. “Can I confess a lie I told you?”
“Better be from before we got married.” There’s a frown on your face, and Satoru chuckles.
“You remember when Seiji was three and Saori two, how they went running to you crying about a bug that you could not find?” Satoru asks, and you remember the incident clear as day. You were scared shitless but you still went after the bug to kill it; when you couldn’t find it and they kept crying about it, you just comforted them while Satoru dealt with the problem. “There wasn’t a bug, it was a curse. But you still managed to deal with the problem, even when you didn’t know what it was.”
“That does make me feel better.” You smile at him before kissing his lips. “I love you. You always know the right thing to say.”
“I love you too, baby.”
-
“Seiji, stop!” Saori yells at her brother who keeps messing around with her tiara. You’ve already struggled getting into a kangaroo onesie to go out with them, you’re already far too tired to stop their bickering. You have no idea why you agreed to go trick-or-treating with them, you doubt you can walk too much. In your defense, you promised you’d do it two months ago, and your circumstances now are much different than before. You should’ve known that by Halloween you’d be in a much different mood. You only glance at Satoru, who lays down on the bed and stares at the phone, and he stands up to deal with it. “Seiji!”
“Seiji, what are you doing?” Satoru yells, walking out of the bedroom to go to where his kids are at. Satoru crosses his arm as he looks down at the seven-year-old who wears a superhero costume, ready to go trick-or-treating. Seiji tries to play it off as if he’s doing nothing, but he’s holding his sister’s tiara in his hands. Satoru sternly says, “Give it back and apologize.”
Seiji drags his feet, walking over to his sister to give her back her tiara. When Saori gets her tiara back, she runs to her father’s side and hugs him. He picks his little princess up from the floor and kisses her forehead. She sticks her tongue out at Seiji, making Satoru sigh and say, “Don’t do that.”
“Mommy! Saori is being mean to me!” He yells, hoping to have a parent by his side. You’re forced to leave your room to deal with it, even after your efforts of not dealing with it.
“What’s happening?” You ask. You look at Satoru and Saori before looking down at Seiji. Before Seiji responds, Satoru says,
“I got it handled, honey.” He puts Saori down on the floor again, “Apologize to your brother, Saori.”
“What for?” She responds, giving her father doe-eyes, which always work. He looks away, at his son.
“Apologize to Seiji for sticking your tongue out at him.” Saori crosses her arms before dramatically turning to her brother. She mutters an apology which is good enough for the minor offense. When you’re no longer needed, you begin to walk away, but you don’t get too far before your name is called again.
“Is Megumi still going with us?” Seiji asks, and you nod your head in response. You then look at your husband.
“Change. We have to get going soon so we get home early.” You order, and Satoru has no option but to do as you say. That’s what he signed up for when he chose to marry you.
When you’re back in your room, you lay down on your bed, grabbing a picture frame that’s beside your bed and looking over it because every time Megumi is brought up you’re reminded of the little family you had six years ago. It’s an old photo of baby Seiji, Megumi, and Tsumiki. Looking at Tsumiki’s precious smile almost always makes you cry, and when the tears well up, they spill as you laugh at Megumi’s awful smile.
Maybe you should’ve appreciated those times more, but you had a lot on your plate. It’s not like you can stop time or stop awful things from happening. You’re still happy with your life right now.
The picture frame is snatched from your hands, and you glare at your husband. He looks at the picture before he puts it down on the nightstand. He leans down, and kisses you, “Don’t start getting sentimental now, it’ll ruin your night.”
“I’ll try not to.” You respond. He takes a seat on your side of the bed, his hands resting on your belly.
“I got a call.” He announces, and it makes your brows raise. He clears his throat, “We’ll have to go trick or treating without me. It’s an emergency.”
“Oh?” You reply. You want to be upset about it, but you know he doesn’t do it on purpose. Satoru is the first one to be bummed out about missing time with his kids. “I can take the kids out.”
“No! I want you to stay here till I get home.” He sounds defensive, and you know better. It’s rare when Satoru says no, so you’ll listen. He pecks your lips, telling you, “I love you.”
“I love you too.” His head goes down and he presses a couple of kisses on your belly before he promises,
“I promise, I’ll be back as soon as possible. We gotta take these kids trick-or-treating together.”

"Mori says we need to find some managers." Himari says on the way to school.
You were originally supposed to try and find some before the third years left last season, but you continued to put it off.
"Saori did stats the whole game and Mori wanted to play her for a few rallies." She goes on.
"I know," You sigh, "I'll try looking today during lunch and break." A comfortable silence fell upon the two of you.
Himari speaks up after a few minutes of silence. "Do you think Saori is a good setter?"
You were still getting to know the first years, but you knew they all had talent. "Yeah she is." You say.
"Do you think Mori would want to run a 6-2?" Himari asks, you're starting to catch on that she's a little worried about losing her spot. In the previous years there were no other setters on her level for her to compete with. This is new.
"Don't get all worried," You nudge her, "You're the best setter around, you have experience, and you have chemistry with the team."
"How can I not worry." She chews the inside of her cheek.
You give her a look, "Saori is a great setter, but she's a first-year so she's gonna be more prone to making mistakes. Plus coach can't sit her out every single game. That's her next setter when we leave."
"You're right, she's gonna need to get experience." Himari says, kicking a rock in front of her.
"Let's not worry about playing time, we get to play volleyball and go to all of these tournaments and make more memories." You cheer her up. "Let's stay after practice today, we can work on some combos."
"Thanks, Y/n." She smiles, "I feel a little better now." The school comes into view and the campus is filled with students laughing and enjoying the sunlight.
During lunch you quickly ate and went on your way to find some students who weren't in a club. The girls volleyball team was a bit famous, winning back to back gave you a name.
There were little whispers around as you entered a classroom, trying to find your teammate. "Aiko!" You get her attention and she turns at the call of her name.
"Hey captain, what's up?" She says, wiping her mouth with a napkin.
"Do you know of any boys who aren't in a club yet? I'm trying to find a manager." You explain.
She thinks for a moment, "Not that I know of, I'm sorry." She apologizes for not being able to help you.
"It's okay." You brush off. You put up some flyers, even handing the teachers some to pass out to any students they knew weren't in a club. You end up in the first-year hallway, looking for a blonde middle.
"Hey, Y/n." Mei smiles, "Is everything alright?"
"Everything's fine," You explain to her the situation and stand in front of her desk, "Do you happen to know anyone?"
She looks around the room, but ends up shaking her head. "I can't think of anyone, but I can take some of those flyers and applications." She points to your hands.
"Really? Thank you so much." You hand her a couple and begin to walk back to your class, there were about 5 minutes left. You weren't really paying attention to where you were going, as you turned the corner you were met with a hard surface. You realized you had accidentally bumped into someone. "I'm so sorry—"
"Oh hey." Kuroo smiles, "What're you doing here?" He looks confused.
"I could ask you the same thing." You raise an eyebrow.
He lets out an airy laugh, "I was going to give this to Lev, but I'll have to wait since someone rudely bumped into me."
"I said I was sorry!" Your eyes widen as he now follows you back to the third-year hallway.
"Just kidding." He rolls his eyes, "What're those?" He motions to the applications in your hand.
"I'm trying to find a manager for my team, we need someone to take stats." You explain, "I was in the other halls to find students who weren't in a club yet."
"Ahh," He nods, "Any luck?"
"No." You rub your forehead. "Coach is gonna bug me about it for not doing this sooner." You chuckle.
"At least we have an assistant coach, why doesn't she have one?" He found it a little weird.
"We keep telling her, but she likes to work alone." You roll your eyes at her stubbornness. "I'll see you later." You wave to him as you enter your class, the bell had rung and Kuroo was still walking, he was a little late, it made Mori raise her eyebrow in suspicion.
She let it slide since it was his first time ever, she continued on with the lesson as normal. For the remainder of the school day, your teacher had given a group assignment.
"Hey Kai," You get the boys attention, "Do you wanna work with us?"
He smiles, "Sure." Picking up his paper and pencil and moving closer.
"Hey Himari." He greets.
"Hey." She smiles nervously, you raise your eyebrow at her. Knowing you'd bring this up to her later.
"I already started this part," He shows his paper to the two of you. The assignment was fairly easy, it was meant to take up the rest of the day, but you had all finished it with a bit of spare time.
Your teacher allowed you guys to do whatever as long as it didn't disrupt the other students who were still working, Himari was digging in her bag for something, she gets your attention as she finds it.
"Mori gave me the stats, if you wanna look." She pushes the iPad towards you, already knowing you'd take it.
You thank her and opened it to look at your hitting first, you knew you hit well that game, so it wasn't a worry for you. You checked your passing next, then you realized that the hitting wasn't as effective as it was when you were in front, but it picked back up again when you got to the net.
A good starting lineup has the most effective hitting, passing, and serving first, then it goes down towards the end of a rotation. You'd bring this up to coach.
You notice Kai conversing with Himari, she seemed to have eased her nerves a bit and was more comfortable talking to him. You had no idea she had a thing for him, it made you happy to be able to bug her about it.
You began to check some other averages as well, mostly just getting a feel for how the first lineup of the season was going. Time went by quickly, the bell rang and it surprised you.
"We'll see you later." Himari waved to Kai and he smiled and returned the wave. You quickly say bye to him, trying to keep up with Himari.
"Aw you left so quickly." You pout as you caught up.
She turns her head quickly towards you, "It's not like that."
"I didn't bring him up, now I know you like him." You wink and she groans, covering her quickly reddening face.
"I just want to be friends with him." She states.
"Uh huh, that's why you're blushing and being nervous around him." You say back, opening the club room. "This is payback."
"For what?" She gasps sarcastically and the two of you giggle.
A bead of sweat slowly falls down your face, you wipe it as you continue to listen to your coach talk about the practice match. You fiddle with a stray string on your knee pad, bored. You had already looked over the stats.
A few girls began to leave, but you and some others stayed after to get more reps in. There was a small game of 3 on 3. Himari, Aiko, and you were on one side, and Saori, Rikako, and Keiko on the other.
Aiko received the ball, you started your approach early, wanting to run a quick from the outside position, without communicating, Himari spotted you in the air and tossed the ball quickly to you.
You swung as quickly as you could, slamming the ball onto the other side of the net. Rikako and Keiko were both on the ground, trying to get a touch, but failed.
"That's not fair!" Rikako laughed, getting up from the ground.
"Yeah, there's no blockers." Keiko adds on.
"You're more than welcome to do quicks." Aiko says across the net.
"Huddle up!" Saori says and the three younger girls form a triangle.
While you waited for them to finish scheming, you walked over to your coach. "I was thinking," you begin and she takes her eyes off of her iPad, "I noticed our hitting is weaker in the 2nd, 3rd, and 4th rotations."
"I noticed it too, what're you thinking?" She motions for you to continue.
"What if we switched Naomi and I, she has a solid serve, I don't think we'd do poorly." You say.
"I think that could work. I was also wanting to use Aiko more, her serving last season was amazing." Your coach says, "I like the lineup, but I do think I'll switch you and Naomi."
"If you want Aiko to serve more, she could go in for one of the middle blockers, then have Misaki go in for them."
"Your mind is great." She laughs and you smile.
"Okay we're ready!" Saori yells and you jog back to your position. The ball was sent over and Himari passed it.
"I got it!" Aiko says.
"Right!" Himari yells back, you're surprised she's attacking. Aiko pass-set to Himari and she hits a nasty line shot. Keiko receives it and Saori begins to jump set, but then she quickly changes it up and attacks the ball.
You were caught off guard, preparing for a quick from Keiko, the ball was coming towards your face fast, you quickly use your hands in defense. It was a bit off. "Sorry!" You yell.
"I've got it! Aiko!" Himari says and quickly runs to the ball, giving her a back set, Aiko tracks the ball and hits it over to the other side.
Rikako receives the ball with one hand, her body on the floor, it somehow perfectly lands in Saori's hands and she sets the ball impossibly quick to Keiko, but she wasn't able to get there in time because of how fast it was.
You stare with your mouth open at Saori, "What was that!?"
"I was trying to do a gap." She says and you're still looking at her confused, she thinks you don't know what a gap is, so she begins to explain, "You know, where the attacker is on their 3rd step and you set to them."
You shake your head, "I know what a gap is, we run those all the time—but that was insanely quick."
"I thought that's how they're normally set?" She looks around confused and Keiko is still trying to catch her breath.
"Is that how you'd set for your middle school team?" Rikako asks, absolutely baffled.
"Sometimes, but my hitters weren't fast enough so my coach made me slow it down." Saori explains.
"What made you try it again?" You approach her.
"Keiko's fast and tall, it just felt right to do." She answers.
"Do that again," Your coach is intrigued now, "Keiko try your best to hit. Y/n, toss the ball to her." Himari grabs a ball cart and rolls it over to you.
"Ready?" You ask and they all nod, you toss the ball to Saori, Keiko begins her approach, she gets to her second step, but the ball was already soaring past her.
"Sorry, I'm not used to this quick of a set." She apologizes.
"It's okay, try again." Coach Mori encourages and she gets back into formation.
You toss another ball and as soon as the ball leaves your hands, Keiko is beginning her approach, this time Keiko was in the air as Saori was setting the ball, it happened so quick, Keiko hit the ball and it slammed onto the other side of the net.
"Holy shit." You laugh and break into a huge smile.
"We can work with that." Your coach smirks. "We'll work more on it tomorrow, we're gonna focus on attacking."
"Clean up!" You say and begin to take down the net. Himari had an uneasy feeling in her stomach, but she remembers your words from earlier, she tries her best to keep it down. She goes up to Saori and compliments her, the two converse for a little.
You lock the gym doors and walk back to the club room, you notice Himari is a little down, but she refuses to talk about it. "I'm gonna head out now." She says to you.
"Do you want me to walk with you?" You'd always walk with each other because of how close you live.
"I kinda just want some space, I'm sorry." She apologizes.
"That's okay, I'll see you tomorrow." You smile at her and she puts in her headphones and walks out. You're the last one the leave, taking your time to pack your things.
You lock up the clubroom and see Kuroo and his friends a little ahead of you, Kuroo turns his head at the sound of a door being shut. "Hey-uh, walk without me today." He curtly says and makes his way over to you.
Yaku and Kai turn to see and immediately put the pieces together when they see you walking down the steps.
"You need me to walk you home?" He smiles, putting his hands in his pockets.
"Oh no, it's okay—"
"Alright alright, you don't have to beg me, I'll do it." He smirks, making you roll your eyes.
"Are you sure it's not out of your way?" And he shakes his head.
"Where's Himari?" You two basically never leave each other's sides, he's confused by this, but he's grateful because he wouldn't have been able to walk you home if she was with you.
"She was a little down after practice today, so she wanted to walk home alone." You say.
"What happened?"
"We have this first-year setter who's really good and she's worried that she might replace her." You say, "This is the first time she's had real competition for her spot."
"Yeah, that's rough." He sighs, "That's kinda happening with our middles."
"With you?" You say surprised.
He scoffs jokingly, "Obviously not me, I'm perfect." You rolls your eyes at him, "With Inuoka and Lev."
"I thought Lev's receives were still terrible." You say confused.
"They are, but he's so tall and can hit decently. Him and Kenma just haven't clicked yet." Kuroo explains and you him. "Coach thinks they have potential."
"Yeah, you can't really compete with height." You say.
"Especially a shorty like you." He laughs loudly at his own joke.
"Ha ha." You fake laugh, "I work hard for my spot."
"I know, it was just funny." He sighs and looks off, it was almost completely dark, he stares at the stars for a second then turns to look at you.
The soft wind slowly blew your hair out of your face, he thinks you look beautiful right now—well all the time, but especially right now.
You feel him staring, but don't say anything. It makes your face feel hot so you turn to look at the side, finding so much interest in the shops nearby. He realizes he's staring and embarrassingly looks away, if his friends saw him, he'd never hear the end of it.
"We have a practice match coming up." He breaks the silence.
"Ours? Yeah I know," You chuckle, "Every week, remember?" You turn your head back to him, noticing a pink hue cover his cheeks.
"Oh sorry—not ours." He laughs, "I meant with another team."
"Really? Who is it?" You're curious. "I bet it's Fukurodani."
He shakes his head, "I don't think you're guessing this one."
You raise an eyebrow and continue thinking. It has to be a team you're not familiar with. "I give up." You playfully roll your eyes.
"Karasuno."
"Karasuno?" You furrow your brows, it's not ringing a bell.
He sees your confusion and chuckles. "They were well known a couple years ago, we used to play them all the time."
"What happened to them?" You ask.
He shrugs, "They lost valuable players like we did, and had to start off from scratch. We're not lucky enough to get good players handed to us."
You frown, "We're just good at scouting the middle schoolers."
He just laughs, "Anyways, one of their coaches begged Nekomata and he decided to give them a chance."
"That should be fun, right?" You say, "Maybe I'll go watch to see a certain middle blocker get beat."
He playfully nudges you, "Don't root for the enemy."
"I was kidding." You roll your eyes, you came up to your house and wave goodbye to him. You go up to your room and see from your window that Himari's room was dark.
You frown, she never went to bed this early. You hoped she'd be feeling better tomorrow.

Hello! |ω・)ノ Can I request first date + first kiss (combined or separately? however you prefer) headcanons for Theo, Hidetoshi and Saori, please? Thank you so much as always!
First Date + First Kiss
Fandom: Persona 3
Character(s): Hidetoshi, Theo, Saori
Type of Request: Headcanons
Note(s): Absolutely, here you go!!
Tumblr media
Hidetoshi
He says it's a date, but it's really you and him studying in the library. A study date is just the easiest type of date you both can have for a first date. He also uses it to get to know you better so he can plan an actual date outside of school.
As for a first kiss, he does want to make sure it's perfect. He plans out what to say, recites it in a mirror, and tries to act calm and confident when he finally starts his long speech.
Only for he to end up looking in your eyes and his mind to go blank because he can only think that he wants to kiss you. He had a whole speech planned and he instead just goes to kiss you. It's a short kiss because he realizes what he's doing and he's pulling away to apologize for not asking first. And then he asks if he can give you a kiss to make up for it.
Saori
She hasn't gone on a lot of dates and so she wants to do something popular. She's heard other people talking about going to karaoke or a cute diner for a date so she'll suggest that if you don't already have something planned.
Since Saori is inexperienced with actual dates, kissing is something else she's not really experienced with and so there are lots of cheek kisses or forehead kisses to help her prepare for it.
Saori has heard and read about all the fireworks and good feelings accompanied with kissing the right person. And when she finally does kiss you, she feels those fireworks. She can't help giggling because it feels too cheesy to be true, but she is just unbelievably happy and she wants to kiss you again.
Theo
Theo doesn't even realize he's asking you on a date. He's heard rumors of a spot that a lot of couples enjoy going to. And if you went with him then that'd make you a couple so he wants to go. His definition of 'a couple' is a bit skewed, but he does have a lot of fun.
And then he hears about kisses and that it's a cute, tiny piece of chocolate. So he asks you if you could "give him a kiss". He doesn't understand the reaction on your face until your lips meet his and he freezes.
It's so unexpected and new and he really likes it. He doesn't know why he likes it. He doesn't understand why his heart beats harder. But he can't help a smile. He mentions that he had heard that a kiss was sweet, but he didn't realize how sweet it'd be.

Tumblr media Tumblr media
✮A/N: hihi!! Sorry for going on hiatus, i was focused more on my oc blog rather than this one.. i also didnt play d4dj cause im really burn out, still, i promise to finish my requests!!! Hope you enjoy!
✮synopsis: you, Dalia's sister, helped her and her group with their dj equipment
✮contains: female reader!!(Sorry non-female readers :<)
Tumblr media
You always knew your sister had a dj unit, they've been in numerous music events, who wouldnt know them? Today, your twin sister, dalia, invited her friends over for something.
"Ah.. sorry for the ruckuss y/n.. im having them over because we need to compose and make sure our song is at its best shape.. is that alright with you hm?" She asks, tilting her head to the side, "oh sure, just dont bother me.." you say dismissively as you went back playing your game, not even an hour later you began to hear some clanging noises, you paused your game, heading to your sisters room.
"Ugh.. sis, what's with this noise..? Oh.." you caught them assembling their dj equipment, its clearly noticeable that they were struggling.. "oh, need help?" You spoke up, making your sister and her friends look at you, Rika was the one who broke the silence "really?! Oh my gosh please do!" She exclaims, you went over and looked at the equipment, seeing how some are not in proper order.
"Hm.. place this here, this one should go in there and.." suddenly, you felt someones hand tapping at your shoulder. "Excuse me.. odd request but how about i do it while you instruct me? I feel like it helps me learn.." she mutters, you smiled and nodded, slowly stepping back, "mhm, sure". Soon, you instructed saori where to place certain wires, but, theres this one wire that was really confusing to her.. "place them over there.." you stated, saori plugs the wire onto the different socket. "Oh no.! Not that.." you then went over to her, holding her hand as you led her hand where to plug that wire, unbeknownst you, she was blushing like crazy.
"O-okay.! But.. you didnt have to hold my hand though.." she stutters you gave her an awkward chuckle. "Makes it easier and quick no? Anyways, now that your problem has been solved, i'll head to my room now, just tell me if you need some help with something." you announced, getting up to leave, right after you closed the door you immediately blushed, you've successfully made a smooth yet oblivious move! You could then hear the chatters behind that door "ooh~! Saori's blushing!" Marika teases, Rika too joined in "hahaha.! She is!, you're like a strawberry!" She exclaims, Dalia can't help but chuckle at the scene before her. "Hehe, dont worry saori, i'll make sure to tell y/n that your interested in her" she teases, saori again turned much more red "what.?! Lets focus on practicing..!" She exclaims trying to change the topic.

Booths and stalls lined up both sides of various roads.
Rows of lanterns hung from the treelines to the lampposts.
Droves of people flocked. From wearing kimonos to just plain snuggly attire to battle the coldness.
Praying at the shrines to make wishes for the coming year came first.
After that, chaos ensued.
A squealing Nobara hurried over to embrace her lifelong friends Fumi-chan and Saori-chan before introducing them to Maki who was keeping it cool to Nobara's admiration.
Kento brushes something off Yu's scarred cheek only for the younger man to kiss his stern partner fully on the mouth.
A teasing Mai and Momo along with a reluctant but curious Kasumi dragging a stubborn blushing Kokichi off to doll him up with various trinkets and hats they spotted at various booths.
Ieiri and Utahime trying to catch some goldfish at one of those booths. Utahime shouting out her constant success at catching them fishes; her competitiveness shining through, and Ieiri calmly cheering her wife on.
Yuji laughed while Megumi and Junpei smiled at his radiant expression while chowing down on barbecue skewers together.
That was long before your salmon haired boi yelled out in alarm as a heated Todo chased him in his fervent pursuit to drag his brother off to see the Takada-chan's New Year's Eve live special screening at Shibuya crossing.
Noritoshi eating a kebab as Yuki filmed the whole chase beside him, aimed at Choso as he let Yuji jump into his arms and speed off with Todo right at their heels, dust clouds left in their wake.
Riko and Misato shooting darts at a gaming booth all to get the familiar looking, long as hell, rainbow dragon plush to the girls delight.
Atsuya dragged his bae Hiromi by his collar into the nearest bar just to get away from your group and drink to their retired hearts content.
Masamichi and Yoshinobu sharing sake in the place across from said bar.
Yuta kissed both Rika and Toge on their stuffed cheeks as their mouths were full of sweets; mochi cheeks he spotted in his mesmerized gaze.
Right before Panda, carrying plushies by the armful, dumped his winnings all over his ecstatic buddies.
Spotting Toji and Shiu amiss the crowd, eyeing his son as his protective brother instincts creaked out as he played tug of war with Tsumiki who was stubbornly set on kissing a dopey grinning Junpei some more as her lipstick marked his rosey cheek.
Toji snorted at the sight before being dragged off by the arm by Shiu, opting to get a better view, a less crowded spot at that.
Nanako and Mimiko running around with sparklers lite.
Tears filled up your eyes to the brim.
Seeing so much happiness.
So much positivity.
All amassing here.
All in this moment.
Together.
Your mind flashed.
What could have been …
Buildings sliced and diced to mince.
Magma erupts from the streets, encasing all in its range.
A circle of darkness that continues to grow.
No lights.
No life.
Barred from all.
You were getting caught up in your mind too much lately.
Thinking too much, wandering in too deep, letting intrusive thoughts cloud the light.
Your knees trembled, your grip slipping, you wrap around your belly, prepared to not let it get the brunt of the fall.
“Y/n!”
His long raven locks flowed in the breeze. His almond brown eyes are so vibrant and sharp and alive.
“Sugu!” You weeped immediately into his charcoal robes, grasping handfuls of his front, alarming him tremendously.
“Y/n! Be careful! What's wrong!?”
“I'm just so happy we're all together celebrating tonight!” Your waterworks hit him right in the face as he led you two to a bench to rest your bloated sore self.
“Tiredness, mood swings, they do come with pregnancy, love.” Suguru calmly explained as you clung to him, pulling your legs up to rest on the space left on the bench.
“Perhaps we should take you home early. I am terribly sorry if we pushed you too much with coming here … jeez. Now where did Satoru go this time?”
Warping right by your side nearly gave you a heart attack. Even still, you were never quite prepared for Toru's spontaneity.
Getting down on one knee, Satoru tenderly caressed and smooched your clothed bump. “Right here~!”
“Toru!” You yanked the man up by his sleeve, having him sit beside you as well as he draped your legs over his lap as he let you cuddle him and weep in his neck.
His shades titled down to reveal his devoted gaze as he carefully pulled you atop his lap, nuzzling your head as he exchanged smooches with Suguru. “Aww, wifey. It's okay. We're here. Just think. A new year. New hijinks. New possibilities!”
Suguru's head rested on your shoulder as his heated breath made you mewl. “And a new addition to our family.”
Viewing the kids all animated, the adults mingling, the buzz in the air, it all helped to ease the unrest in your hormonal self.
“I hope we can continue living out our somewhat sense of peace in the new year.” You murmured, humming as they gently smothered you in their plush chests and secure arms.
“Agreed.” Their giant sculpted hands felt your bump together, wistfully grinning as you smiled shedding tears of joy.
An upbeat song blared out through the speakers.
Next thing you know, few turned to many dancing.
Lost in paradise.
For a dance mob has formed.
Yugi, returning out of the blue, took the lead, bopping with his usual upbeat finesse.
Megumi wasn't dancing, more like bashfully scratching the back of his head, too shy to look anyone in the eye, until a beaming Yuji had him, helping his boyfriend loosen up.
Nobara twirled and swirled, tugging her girls in to all get in sync and flaunting their beautiful strong selves.
And Gojo, in all his glory, was swaying with style, cause of course he wanted to get down most of all. Yuta, Yuji, Megumi, even the twins flanked both his sides, strutting their stuff.
From Takuma to Choso to even Panda, everyone you knew found the groove. From found family to your work buddies. Even the tipsy adults. Even the former assassin and his handler buddy. Even a well disguised Nobuko who had her bodyguards on standby also in disguise warily kept their eyes on the heart eyed Aoi Todo.
The dancing flash mob you never expected to happen did in fact happen.
They clapped, they swayed, they spun, they did it all!
The ships sailed as many familiar faces knew how to dance so acrobatically well. Leave the sight to the imagination.
Fireworks began littering the sky.
The billboard's timer struck 00:00.
Cheers and claps rang as embraces were exchanged.
You giggled as Suguru Geto swept you up in his arms, cupping the back of your head and your cheek to kiss you passionately.
You just had to ask.
“Where would I be without all of you?”
Satoru warped again back to you just to smirk at your jump scare. “Probably bored out of your mind.” You and Suguru shut your white haired husband up by slapping his shoulders to his snickering amusement.
“It goes both ways, Satoru.”
“Aw, I love you too Suguru~” He pulled his shades up to rest on his head as those Six Eyes glowed with love for the growing life in your belly you three made together. “All of you.”
You two peppered kisses all over Satoru's laughing face as the rest of your found family danced the first night of the new year away.

Parenthood. In Gojo Satoru's dictionary, that part has yet been defined. In fact, the term itself is not even written. And within that fact, he was never gonna ink that on any of his pages, even after he has signed his book to a close.
Point made? Then why the hell was there a child on his doorstep that's calling him Dad.
Here he is now, seated across the child with those beady, big eyes of hers in a small, corner restaurant selling sandwhiches just down the street of his apartment. Her pupils shining with sparkles of colors Satoru did not want to establish that it was crystal clearly mirroring his own set of irises.
Absurd. Completely coincidental, certainly. He thinks, eyes squinting in suspicion behind his expensive glasses as he watch her sip away on the juice she has picked. His fingers tapping on the table in thought, or more like waiting for the young lady to start addressing the situation that she got both of them.
Earlier, he had prod the child that she had most likely mixed up the address and that she should go to his fellow home unit owners. Yet, she continues to insist, responding that 'she wasn't stupid' as she claims, which by the way, got Satoru perplexed at that reply. And now they have set a deal, in which he'd get her food, and she'd provide him with a needed elaboration of his questions.
While she chose a chicken sandwich with an apple juice box, he simply went for a lemonade. The corner food store they were in was a stand alone business with no branches, owned by two elderly best friends. Satoru chose this specific accommodation as him and the girl was the only customer, along with one businessman. He also didn't want to garner any attention. Eating alone with a child could possibly spark a scandal of him having a Love child. The thought was slowly but surely eating at his brain that it could be true.
All he needed was to ask one crucial question.
Now, he still stands to the idea that this kid is not his. But y'know since it has reached this point of confrontation, might as well get some answers. He gotta be clever when he does this— The kid was smart! He didn't want to come as being desperate to prove her wrong since she's not his. Satoru was certain.
Grumbling to himself with brows lightly furrowed, he started talking to himself internally, still watching her chew on her straw. 'In my almost a decade-long career, not a single one from the many women i've slept with do I remember their name, except the one last night, Hina. That totally was her name.'
It was not.
Truthfully, Satoru only really messed around the most during after filming of movies, he was well aware of when his instances are most active. He doesn't know how, but he could probably narrow the list slightly if he thinks correct.
'She's a 3'6? maybe a bit up? Probably 6 years old? That's not too earlier on in my career, no..'
Still not taking away his gaze from the girl, observing her with stern, hawk eyes as he takes a sip on his beverage. But really, will it matter to know? Not really, he'd just send the kid away back on her merry way afterwards anyway.
He doesn't trust the kid one bit. Too smarty pants and cheeky.
"So–" Satoru clanks down his glass, getting the attention of the kid as well as being the one to initiate the conversation. "Listen here, Sayuri–"
"It's Saori."
"Right." He shifts on his seat, clearing his throat while the child seems to narrow her eyes at the man. When Satoru notices, he raises a brow in question with an attitude. "What?"
Shaking her head, she looks down on her unfinished food before picking it back up to bite. "So Listen, Saori, let me ask you this," Leaning forward slightly, it was pointless to beat around the bush so Satoru went straight to the point. "How old are you?"
In hearing this, Saori seemed unbothered at the question as she looks up at Satoru, blinking up at him whilst chewing before she swallows down the food to answer him.
"I just turned 8 years old."
...
Well, no shit, that narrows the list so much, he has one familiar name in mind.
In Satoru's silent surprise and denial, he immediately responds with tight lips and almost distant gaze, leaning back on his seat before grabbing his drink to slurp to a finish. "I don't believe you."
"Mhm?" Saori tilts her head in question, genuine confusion expressed, mouth slightly agaped. "On what part?"
Making hand gestures like he was flabbergasted and with an almost offended look, stuttering at his own inner panic. "Everything you've said, –you! One, where did you get my address from, two, you don't look eight, and thirdly, who's your Mother?"
But before she could utter a sound, he raises his hand to stop her. "Don't answer that, I'm scared." He was stressing out while rubbing his face with his hands, lifting the glasses up in the process. In doing so, he misses the saddened, little eyes that she looks his way.
"Here's what's gonna happen, Saori." Satoru jumps slightly forward, Saori's expression coming back to neutral as he looks down at her. "You're gonna call your parents to pick you up, and we're gonna pretend none of this happened, yeah?"
"But I can't do that..!" Saori slightly pouts with a whimper, her eyes trying to puppy-eye-effect him. But all it did was get a narrowed gaze in return, which reads a knowing look.
"And why's that? Do tell." Crossing his arms over himself, he awaits her response. Saori however looks to the side, crystal blue orbs darting every but at him, contemplating her answer. "I– well.. well, my mom won't be picking me up until... a month."
"Excuse me?"
"That's what me and mom.. agreed on?"
"And without my say? also, again, I'm not your Father."
Once again, Satoru is left baffled when he witnesses the kid clench her jaw a slight tad bit, eyes squinting yet like they were ablaze, as if she's sizing him up.
'Momma wasn't lying when she said dad was stubborn.'
And after a moment of eyeing her on the side of his vision, she uttered the sentence he's been dreading to hear since the whole confrontation.
"I've got proof."
"No you don't."
Wearily, he watches as she starts to rummage through her accompanied bag when she suddenly slams a photograph on the table, flinching Satoru a bit, her small hand covering the image. As she slowly uncovers it, Satoru scrunches his eyes close in sheer fright, his head faced on the side to not see a glimpse of it, additionally having both his hands stubbornly shielding them. "No! I don't wanna!"
He exclaimed, or almost shrieked, at the action. Alas, his intrusive, curious urges made him peek one eye open oh so slightly. Which was unfortunate to him, is enough to see the entirety of it.
Immediately, Satoru pushes himself away from the table as soon as he's hit with familiarity upon giving it one small, quick glance.
There, a selfie shot of himself as a teenager with a girl around his age; a girl that has made a lasting impact in Satoru's life– a girl simply someone he could never bring to forget no matter how hard he strives to.
And at the bottom right of that wistful visual imagery, in bold neon colors of blue and pink markers reads these letters:
'Satoru + Y/N'
"Oh my god." He mutters to himself, covering his face as he leans his head back. Completely distressed, if it wasn't evident. His obvious hypothesis was just proven. Now that he was thinking about it, the child had features that he was sure he recognizes somewhere but couldn't put his finger on whom.
Now it was so clear.
Satoru, again, peeks his eyes between his fingers over to the girl, scanning her face.
Despite her set of irises matching his, she definitely had your eyes, perfectly mirroring your sharp gaze. Her hair? Completely got it from you. She had a complexion that's a perfect mix of yours and Satoru's skin.
Saori said nothing but stare at Satoru, not assessing her anymore but instead returning the look while seemingly thinking, a sweat rolling down his temples.
And when Satoru all of a sudden stood up, Saori raises her brows in shock. She eyes Satoru fumble for his pocket to fish his wallet, mumbling to himself. "No, no, nope. Nuh uh."
She only watches as he places some cash on the table, not sparing her a look. "Here, go back to your Mother– You should not be here, kid." He says agitatedly, already starting to head to the door.
He sighs, rubbing his head. The ordeal drained Satoru's energy completely, and it wasn't even lunch yet. This wasn't what he was expecting to happen when he woke up this morning. And now, his head hurt; That idea was too much to take in for him as of this moment.
He got you pregnant? God, you were so long ago and you didn't find it in you to try and tell him earlier? Not only that, you sent your daughter alone? Unbelievable.
Nobody knew of his relationship with you, except a few selected people. It happened before he was known to be the IT of Japan's Acting Industry. The love that was once between you two was only just teenage school romance, Satoru thinks.
He was ready to forget about today and collapse back on his bed, his hand reaching for the door—
"This is child endangerment!"
Satoru flinches at the abrupt, and loud high pitched yell, his heart hammering due to being spooked. He turned alarming, seeing the child standing and staring right at him. Her eyes strongly fixated on his, brows furrowed in irritation, and lips pouting to display her disappointment.
In other circumstances, Satoru would probably find that adorable, a child doing their best at showing their anger, almost like a tantrum. But the child in question was his own, something that he still don't quite grasp and appreciate just yet.
But also, because the three other people inside the establishment was giving him judgmental looks, the owners whispering to themselves. Satoru was flabbergasted at the dirty stares, his mouth agaped.
'WHAT THE FUCK?'
-
"So Satoru, care to explain why there's a kid in your living room?" A woman mutters at the said man.
After dragging Saori back to his house following that fiasco, Satoru immediately contacted two of his best friends, asking them to come over as soon as possible. Upon entering his door, the sight of an unknown little girl was a surprise, their eyes as wide as they could muster to do. Their reaction was as expected by the white-haired man, face palming at them.
Now, he has kept her occupied, watching a random show the girl asked for. And finally, the three adults are seated on the kitchen island, whispering amongst themselves while stealing short glances at the child from time to time.
At the question, Satoru groans exasperatingly, a hand on his forehead. "I do not even wanna a think about it."
The other man, Suguru, who was just drinking from his glass of water, is now looking at the inside of the cup. "Babysitting is something I didn't expect from you, unless the kid's yours." he says with a slight humor. But when he only recieves a small tud from Satoru dropping his head on the island counter, he turns his body towards his friend, face blank. "You're kidding."
A sigh is heard from the woman, Shoko, beside them, cheek on her hand, eyes closed in quiet stress like she already expected that idea the moment she saw the kid.
"She just came and knock on my door. Tried to ask her kindly to leave– but caused a scene instead." Satoru huffs, showing visible tiredness due to now being hunched over the counter, arms sprawled.
Suguru leans forward a bit, looking over his shoulder at the girl then back at Satoru. "You do know that's a fully grown, developed child? Why're you just finding out?
"You're not asking the important questions," Shoko copied the ravenette's actions, expression now eager. "Who's the Mother?"
For a moment, Satoru ignores them, despite their expectant faces pointed at his. And so, collecting his thoughts, he fixes his posture as he leans closer to them, the two doing the same, "Remember (Y/N)?"
"The one from high school?"
"Y'mean the one you ghosted when we were freshman–?"
"I'm offended! I did not do such!" Satoru exclaims a little too loud with a hand on his chest, taken back at the accusation. Shoko immediately hits him on his arm, gesturing at the kid, which resulted a hurt look with a pout from Satoru, rubbing the spot.
"So she's the Mom?"
"That's what she told me. She also had a picture of me and (Y/N)" he begrudgingly says.
The three looks over once again, observing the child completely engrossed on the television, a small smile visible on her face, "She's so adorable though, Saori right?" Shoko says, tilting her head at the child. At that, Satoru groans, "Do not start."
"Well I remember you being head over heels for (Y/N)!" Shoko presses, still watching Saori. "You have no idea how flabbergasted I was when you said you ended it with her." she remarks with raised brows.
"Ditto. There was an annoying point where nothing but her comes outta that mouth of yours." Suguru mumbles as he shuts his eyes while crossing his arms.
"Gosh, I'm reminiscing– kinda miss her now. I liked her around when you both were too irritable." she gasps facing Suguru, "Remember when they were lying about being together but then we caught Satoru pampering her on the face–?" Suguru lightly gasps as well, facing her properly from the reminder. "When (Y/N) shoved him so hard he fell, is very much imbedded in my head still."
With an irritated crease of his brows, Satoru looks at his best friends, "Oi, she's in the past alright? Doesn't matter anymore." He reiterates firmly, muttering the last part under his breath.
With a sharp intake of air through his teeth, Suguru grabs Satoru's shoulders. "But you see, Satoru, it does matter— You definitely need to reach (Y/N) some how, talk about Saori or just have her pick the kid up."
"You sure 'bout that though, Satoru?" Shoko looks at him. "Don't wanna spend time with your daughter?"
It took Satoru a second to reply, actually thinking about it for a bit. He thought about possibilities that could happen if she does stay with him. But the thoughts left him as fast as it entered his mind, knocking him back to his senses.
Sighing, he puts a hand on his forehead, "We're not even sure if she's mine—"
"She showed you irrefutable proof. Plus she's the child I imagined you two would have back then." Suguru interjects. He is completely convinced that Saori is Satoru's, knowing his history with you. Complete silence fell on them, the sound from the television reaching their ears while they think. Then a hum is heard from Shoko.
"Oh yeah I remember that. We had a bet, and now you owe me lunch."
"What do you mean, I said their kid would look like (Y/N) and have Satoru's eyes."
"You bet that they'd have a boy, I said they would have a girl."
Satoru slams his head on the counter with a load, irritated groan, zoning out the conversation between his friends as they bicker about the past.
God, this was a lot for him today

Thoma recounts his first days within Inazuma to Aether and Paimon, detailing the shipwreck, his introduction to the Kamisato siblings, and how they welcomed him as their housekeeper. He vividly recalls his fateful encounter with Yuna, which adds a humorous twist to the memory.

This story was inspired by an actual scenario that happened with me and my friends, decided to stick with Thoma since I ship Yuna with him (๑>◡<๑) And he’s much easier for me to write for! I also ended up dragging the ending on a little too much ƪ(˘⌣˘)ʃ
I don’t write x Reader or Y/N, but if you want to use those in place of Yuna you’re free to do so!

The air in the serene Kamisato estate carries the scent of cherry blossoms as Thoma, Aether, and Paimon find respite beneath the blooming trees. There was a warm smile on Thoma’s face as he begins to share the tale of his arrival in Inazuma.
"It all started with the shipwreck," Thoma begins, his voice carrying the echoes of that fateful day. "I was originally from Mondstadt, you know. I planned to visit my father here in Inazuma and brought with me some dandelion wine to give him.” Thoma's gaze turns wistful as he reflects on the memories of that voyage. “But then the boat sunk. I was washed ashore, disoriented and unsure of what awaited me in this unfamiliar land." As he speaks, the petals of the cherry blossoms swirl around them, creating a whimsical atmosphere.
Thoma recounts the providential encounter with the Kamisato siblings, Ayato and Ayaka, who extended a generous hand and offered him both a home and a purpose. "They welcomed me into their home with open arms. The Kamisato estate became my sanctuary, and my duties as a housekeeper allowed me to repay their kindness," Thoma explains.
He delves into the unique tasks and responsibilities that came with his role. “There was one day when Lord Ayato told me that he was expecting a report from the Tenryou Commission. It was to be delivered by someone from the Noguchi Clan.” Paimon’s eyes lit up at the mention of the Noguchi Clan, “Oh, was that someone Yuna?” Thoma chuckled, giving them a nod, “Yep! It was my first time meeting Yuna too!” Thoma continues, a twinkle in his eye. “Being part of the Noguchi Clan, she acts a lot as a messenger for Lady Saori, you know the Lt. General of the Tenryou Commission. And let me tell you, my first meeting with Yuna was quite... interesting."
Thoma's laughter punctuates the story, and Aether and Paimon lean in, eager to hear more. "Yuna has a way of making a lasting impression," Thoma adds with a chuckle. "But it was that unexpected moment that definitely made us closer."
Thoma was informed by Ayato that he was expecting a letter from a member of the Tenryou Commission. He was currently accompanying Ayaka in the garden when he heard footsteps approaching and he turned his attention towards the entrance to see a young woman with long pink hair step through the door. “Hello Lady Ayaka! Is Lord Ayato here? I’m here to deliver a report for him!” She holds up the letter in her hand with a big grin.
Ayaka as sweet as ever, greets Yuna with a cheerful smile, “Yuna, it’s so nice to see you again! My brother is currently out right now, but he should be back soon. Why don’t you join us till he gets back?” The Kamisato heiress scoots over to make some room for Yuna who happily skips over to her. “Oh if you don’t mind, I’d love to!”
However, before she was able to take a seat and regale Ayaka with her tales of the day Yuna's gaze turned to Thoma who returned it with a charming smile. This being their first time meeting, Thoma opens his mouth to speak. Though, his attempt to introduce himself takes an unexpected turn when Yuna, seemingly without control, blurts out, "Oh wow, you're hot."
The statement hangs in the air, and a moment of stunned silence takes over the garden. Thoma with a red face, can't help but chuckle nervously, and Ayaka, attempting to conceal her amusement behind her fan, couldn’t help but giggle.
"Aah!" Before anyone can fully process the situation, Yuna’s fully panicked cries fills the air as she hastily retreats from the garden. Ayaka and Thoma watches as she flees from the garden, her embarrassed cries echo through the estate as she rushes out. However, she abruptly returns to the two were sitting, slamming the letter onto the table before making her urgent exit once again. All the while letting out a series of embarrassed yelps and cries.
Thoma, still surprised, watched the spectacle unfold, while Ayaka's composed demeanor finally gives way to laughter. "Ah, that was Yuna from the Noguchi Clan," Ayaka explains with a smile. "Don't mind her; she can be quite... eccentric. But it seems she likes you!” Thoma, regaining his composure, responds with a sheepish grin, "Well, that was certainly unexpected." He glances towards the doorway, where Yuna had disappeared, her embarrassed yelps still audible in the distance. Ayaka chuckles, "Yuna has a unique way of expressing herself. She's been a dear friend for a long time." The duo shares a moment of amusement, with Ayaka gracefully accepting Yuna's eccentricities.
As they settle back into the peaceful garden scene, Thoma, still a bit flustered, remarks, "I suppose every encounter with Yuna is an adventure in its own right." Ayaka nods in agreement, "Indeed, it keeps things interesting here." The awkward but endearing encounter adds a touch of humor to the serene garden, and Thoma, though red-faced, can't help but join in Ayaka's suppressed giggles. The unexpected visit from Yuna becomes a topic of light-hearted conversation whenever Thoma, Ayaka, Yuna and Ayato reminisce about their past.
Paimon and Aether burst into laughter, thoroughly entertained by Thoma's recount of his first meeting with Yuna. "Wow, Saori wasn't kidding when she said Yuna acted upon her intrusive thoughts!" Paimon exclaims, earning a nod of agreement from Aether. Thoma joins in with a good-natured smile, "Haha, yeah, Yuna can be bold at times."
As Thoma continues to share his stories, he chuckles at the memories of Ayato's playful teasing. "Lord Ayato never missed a chance to poke fun at Yuna," Thoma explains to Aether and Paimon. "Every time she delivered reports or was just spending her free time here, he would ask her if she found him attractive as well. It became a sort of inside joke between us."
He goes on to describe the scene: Yuna, blushing furiously, would stumble over her words in response to Ayato's jests. The sound of a letter being hastily placed on the table would punctuate the moment, and then she would make a swift exit. Thoma mimics her exaggerated wailing, adding a touch of humor to the recounting, "You could hear her little protests echoing through the estate until they faded into the distance as she made her escape." The trio shares a hearty laugh at the comical dynamics within the Kamisato household, and Thoma concludes, "Despite all the teasing, it was obvious that Yuna wasn’t bothered by it at all.”
As they share a light moment, the atmosphere becomes even more joyous when Thoma's eyes light up at the sight of Yuna approaching, accompanied by the adorable Taroumaru. "Hey, guys, sorry I'm late! Taroumaru kept trying to eat all the snacks!" Yuna calls out cheerfully, joining the group and settling down beside Thoma. She begins to prepare food from her basket, but her attention is drawn to the amused expressions on Aether and Paimon's faces. "What?" Yuna questions, her curiosity evident. Paimon, unable to contain her laughter, snickers before playfully asking “So Yuna, did you also think Aether was attractive upon our first meeting?”
A look of horror crosses Yuna's face before she turns her gaze toward Thoma. "You told them?!" she exclaims, her embarrassment evident. Paimon and Aether burst into laughter as Thoma attempts to soothe Yuna's distress with a lighthearted chuckle. "Hey, it wasn't that bad! I thought it was cute! And I’m absolutely flattered by your bold compliments!" Thoma reassures, joining in the laughter at Yuna’s whines of protests. He's well aware that Yuna, far from being genuinely upset, thrives on the playful banter that has become a routine part of her interactions with Ayato, Ayaka, and now, him.
Paimon snickers mischievously, unable to contain the amusement. "Paimon thought it was cute too, Yuna! Most people tend to beat around the bush or play hard to get, but you went straight to the point!" The little pixie chimes in with enthusiasm. Aether nods in agreement, a warm smile on his face, appreciating the lighthearted atmosphere. Yuna, unable to keep up the facade, breaks into a grin, surrendering to the laughter. "Okay, okay, so maybe I have a flair for the dramatics," she admits with a playful twinkle in her eye, fully embracing her penchant for theatricality. Thoma, still chuckling, playfully nudges her shoulder. "You love the attention, don't deny it."
As the laughter subsides, the group settles into a comfortable atmosphere, surrounded by the tranquility of the cherry blossom scene around. Yuna, now grinning, playfully nudges Thoma back. "Guilty as charged!" she admits, her eyes sparkling with mirth. Thoma, still amused, glances at Aether and Paimon. "You see, these moments have become a regular occurrence around here. Yuna has a way of keeping things lively," he says with a fondness in his voice. Aether and Paimon, fully immersed in the playful atmosphere, nod appreciatively. "Well, it seems like you've got a great group here," Aether remarks, his eyes reflecting the genuine warmth of their shared bond.
Yuna with her never ending energy, sits up with a newfound excitement. "Alright, enough about my dramatic tendencies. Let's enjoy this beautiful day!" she declares, rallying everyone as she takes charge of the mood. Thoma, Aether, and Paimon follow suit, ready to dig in to the food and snacks Yuna had brought with her for their hang out. Yuna, bubbling with energy, reaches into her basket and pulls out a batch of freshly made dango. "Let's start off with a touch of sweetness first!" she exclaims, holding one out to Thoma with a mischievous grin. Thoma, still chuckling, accepts the dango with a playful wink, savoring the delightful treat.
As Yuna playfully feeds Thoma, Paimon takes the rest of the tasty treat barely leaving any for Aether, leaving him to take some of the mochi Yuna also packed. Yuna and Thoma share a laugh at their new companions as they proceed to fight over the other snacks. However, the playful moment is interrupted by a bark from Taroumaru, who's been patiently waiting for his share of attention.
Yuna laughs, acknowledging their furry companion. "Alright, alright, Taroumaru! Your turn!" she says reaching into the basket for a small container filled with more dango. “Made these especially for you, boy! I used tuna and sweet potato for them!” She takes one ball off of the skewer, offering it to Taroumaru, which he eagerly accepts with a wag of his tail. As she continues to alternate between feeding Taroumaru and herself, Yuna settles down with the others, and the conversation seamlessly drifts towards tales of their adventures, both within and beyond the borders of Inazuma.
Yuna takes the lead as story teller, regaling them with her experiences while delivering messages and running errands across the region, adding a touch of her signature flair to every narrative. Thoma, Aether, and Paimon listen with genuine interest, captivated by Yuna’s stories and laughing at random moments from her experiences. Taroumaru, having enjoyed his share of attention and treats, curls up contentedly within Yuna’s arms, becoming a quiet but cheerful presence in the group.
Yuna’s attention eventually becomes increasingly devoted to Taroumaru. The playful pup, sensing his moment in the spotlight, demands more affection and treats, leaving Thoma to playfully feign neglect. Thoma, with a mock pout, teases, "Oh, I see how it is. I thought we were bonding, but I guess Taroumaru is stealing your attention." Yuna, caught in the act of pampering the enthusiastic pup, laughs heartily. "Don't be jealous, Thoma! Taroumaru just knows how to steal my heart," she replies with a grin.
Aether and Paimon join in the playful banter, cheering on Taroumaru's antics. "Looks like you've got some competition, Thoma," Paimon teases, prompting more laughter from the group. Thoma, not one to be outdone, decides to join the fun, pretending to be dramatically heartbroken by the canine usurper. "I guess I'll have to compete with a dog for attention now." The group erupted into laughter once more.
With a twinkle in her eye, Yuna decides to play along. "Oh, Thoma, don't be like that! There's enough love to go around," she reassures, reaching over to give him a friendly pat on the back. Thoma, still playing up the act, flashes a mockingly hurt expression, but his eyes betray a spark of amusement. "Well, if you insist, Yuna. I wouldn't want to deprive Taroumaru of his moment in the spotlight," he replies with a theatrical sigh. Yuna, undeterred by Thoma's feigned jealousy, decides to sweeten the mood even further. With a mischievous glint in her eyes, she declares, "Oh hush, you! I'll feed you some of my special monaka!" Adjusting Taroumaru in her arms, she reaches back into the basket, producing another container filled with delicate tsubaki-shaped crispy wafers, each harboring a sweet, creamy filling.
"Saved these for last! Here!" Yuna holds out one of the monaka treats to Thoma, the anticipation evident in her eyes as she waits for him to take a bite. Thoma, unable to keep up the act any longer, grins and accepts the treat with genuine appreciation. Taking a delicate bite, Thoma is met with a burst of delightful flavors, and he can't help but compliment Yuna on her culinary skills. "These are amazing, Yuna! You really have a talent for making everything special." A light blush adorns Yuna’s face as she hides behind Taroumaru, “Hehe, thank you, Thoma!”
As Thoma and Yuna share a moment of genuine connection over the delectable treats, Paimon, always one to seize an opportunity for delicious food, makes her move. "Oh, that looks good! Can Paimon have some too, Yuna?" she asks with wide, pleading eyes, fixated on the container. Caught up in the whimsical atmosphere, Yuna happily extends the container toward Paimon, ready to share the delights. However, in a flash, Paimon seizes more than her fair share, leaving only three monaka treats in the container. "Paimon! Don't be stingy, save some for the rest of us!" Aether exclaims, scolding Paimon for her eating habits.
Paimon, undeterred and with a mischievous glint in her eyes, cheekily retorts, "What? These treats are too tasty to resist!" She hovers near the container, seemingly unapologetic for her impulsive snack raid. Thoma, amused by the sudden turn of events, bursts into laughter. "Well, I guess Paimon has a point. Food this good is hard to share!" He says, his playful demeanor adding to the light-hearted atmosphere. “I’m sure Yuna wouldn’t mind making some more later, would you Yuna?” He turns his attention over to the girl sitting beside him. She nodded eagerly, “Of course! Though, next time I’ll make sure to make a whole lot more.” She giggled as Paimon takes the last three monaka treats from the container, stuffing them in her mouth before Aether can grab one. “Paimon looks forward to it!”
“Paimon don’t eat with your mouth full!”

The Beginning
Tumblr media
The classroom is loud with the sound of third-graders packing up their belongings and emptying the room as the school day comes to an end. You quickly rush to pack your own backpack, a stark contrast to your classmates who are laughing with their friends. The quicker you leave, the more likely you are to avoid any form of attention.
You’re trying so hard to remain invisible that you completely miss your name repeatedly being called. It’s only when a balled-up piece of paper hits the side of your head that you startle before freezing.
The loud burst of giggles that follows your reaction catches your attention and you look at the group of four girls that are crowded around one desk. You glance around the room to see that other than a few stragglers, you’re on your own.
“Sorry. Were you talking to me?” you ask nervously, your eyes darting down to your backpack where your fingers are fidgeting with the zipper. Another round of muffled giggles has your cheeks burning with embarrassment.
“You look so scared,” Hana, the girl at the center of the group and almost certainly the one to have thrown the paper ball at you, teases. “We’re not gonna hurt you or anything.”
You chew on your bottom lip anxiously, fighting the instinct to curl in on yourself defensively.
“Sorry,” you repeat, the word sounding small. “What did you say?”
“What’s your Quirk? We’re trying to decide whose is the coolest,” Hana says before rolling her eyes. “But I don’t know why we’re bothering, mine is definitely the best.”
With a smug smile, she holds up her hand, palm facing up, and looks at it for a few moments. As she continues to concentrate, her skin begins to turn soft pink and beautiful cherry blossoms start to very slowly emerge from her palm.
“Ahh, Hana-chan! Your Quirk is so pretty,” Hana’s best friend, Miyoko, gushes as the other girls sitting around her join in with their own sounds of awe.
“So, what’s your Quirk?” Hana asks you, not looking away from her hand where a small pile of cherry blossoms continues to slowly grow.
“Oh, it’s nothing special,” you mumble, self-consciously dropping your gaze to your shoes. “Definitely nothing like yours.”
“Obviously. No one’s is like mine,” Hana scoffs. “So, what is it?”
The group of girls look away from Hana’s petals and toward you expectantly. Unsure what else you can do, you start to toy with the zipper of your backpack.
“Um, it’s called Immunity?” you tentatively answer, although it sounds much more like a question. The girls all look at you with confusion.
“Immunity?” one of the girls, Saori, asks.
“Quirks don’t work on me,” you explain and something about their curiosity gives you just the little bit of courage you needed.
You walk towards Hana’s desk and reach out to touch her hand and demonstrate your Quirk. The moment that your finger touches her, her skin returns to its normal color and the seemingly unending flow of cherry blossoms comes to a sudden halt.
“Wow,” Miyoko breathes with wide eyes and you shyly smile.
With everyone’s attention now on you and your eyes timidly starting back down at the floor, no one sees the way Hana crushes the delicate cherry blossoms in her hand as she makes an angry fist.
“Yeah, so if someone tries to use their Quirk on me or I touch someone using their Quirk, then it stops working,” you continue.
You glance up to see that the girls are all looking at you with keen interest and you feel a small flutter in your stomach. Maybe your Quirk has opened the door. Maybe this is your chance. Maybe now they’ll finally see you as one of them.
But the small ray of hope is blocked and an overwhelming pit of anxiety that you’re all too familiar with replaces it at Hana’s next words.
“That’ll be really useful when you become a villain!” she points out, a deep maliciousness lurking just underneath her enthusiastic tone.
Your gaze immediately drops back down as you silently beg for the floor to open up and swallow you whole — anything to disappear from this moment.
“The heroes won’t be able to use their Quirks to stop you so you can do whatever you want!” Hana says eagerly. Following her lead, the other girls begin to laugh, any trace of interest in your Quirk now gone.
“Yeah! That’s a villain’s Quirk,” the fourth girl, Naomi, eagerly agrees. You can feel your face heating and you grip tightly onto the fabric of your uniform’s skirt.
“I’m not gonna be a villain,” you protest, your voice small.
“You’re already a villain,” Hana scoffs, making the other girls giggle again. “My mom told me to stay away from you. She said your whole family is dangerous.”
You weakly shake your head, angry with yourself as your vision starts to sting with unshed tears.
“We’re not villains,” you mumble and you hear the screeching of a chair scraping across the floor as Hana stood up.
“The people who go into your house don’t come out alive,” she gleefully crows as she approaches you.
“Sounds like a villain to me, Hana-chan,” Saori comments, egging her on and you furiously rub your eyes to get rid of your tears.
“The heroes will probably get you soon, though,” Hana muses as her shoes come into your line of sight now that she’s standing directly in front of you. “They’ll get you and your whole family. They’ll lock them up in the villain prison.”
Despite the two of you being the same height, it seems like she’s looming over you as you continue to shrink in on yourself.
“Hey, Saori. Doesn’t your uncle work at the villain prison?” Hana turns back to her friend group to casually ask.
“Yeah, I heard him telling my dad about it. He said it’s awful. That the villains are locked up alone all day and no one can visit,” Saori answers and her words strike something deep inside of you.
“That’s what’s gonna happen to you and your whole villain family,” Hana says, focusing her attention and cruelty back on you. “They’re all gonna get thrown in there with no way out so you’ll be all alone, whether they get you or not.”
She then gives your shoulder a rough shove, causing you to stumble backward and the rest of the girls laugh at your expense. You flinch in anticipation as she reaches up to do it again but everyone freezes when your name is called from the doorway.
“Ch-Chisaki-kun,” Hana greets, nervousness in her voice as she turns her back to you so that she can face him. Blocked from his sight behind Hana, you quickly brush away the tears from your cheeks and eyes, trying to remove any evidence of what Kai is interrupting.
“What are you doing?” he asks, his tone dangerous even for a child.
The girls are all suspiciously silent, looking to Hana to come up with the excuse that will keep Kai’s anger at bay.
“We were just having fun,” Hana replies, the other girls nodding in agreement. She then looks at you with menacing and expectant eyes. “Isn’t that right?”
Your gaze remains trained on the floor, your toes curling anxiously inside of your shoes before you nod weakly as well.
“Yeah, don’t worry, Kai. We were just having fun,” you murmur, your voice sounding dull to your own ears. You can feel the frustration rolling off of Hana in waves at how unconvincing you are.
But she then returns to her desk and finally begins to pack up her things, the other three girls seizing the opportunity to follow suit and escape Kai’s attention.
“We were just talking about our Quirks. She’s got a cool one. There’s a lot she could do with it,” Hana continues, but you can hear what she’s really saying.
‘A lot she could do with it as a villain.’
“Well, we should get going,” she tells him as she swings her backpack over her shoulders, the other girls copying her actions. She gives you a friendly wave goodbye. “See you tomorrow.”
If you looked up, then you would have seen the ugly look she’s sending you. But, too scared to look anywhere that isn’t the floor, it goes unnoticed. The four girls then slip past Kai, who remains standing in the doorway. He follows them with narrowed eyes until they turn the corner in the hallway and disappear from sight.
Now alone in the empty classroom with Kai, you let out the breath you’ve been holding.
“What were they doing?” he asks, breaking the silence as he walks toward you.
“Nothing,” you mumble.
Instead of stopping before you, Kai moves past you. A few moments later, your backpack appears in front of you as he holds it out. You grab onto the handle, but when you try to take it from him, he holds onto it tightly. You look up at him with confusion.
“What were they doing?” he repeats and you drop your gaze back to the floor.
“They called me a villain,” you whisper and you hurriedly wipe away the tears that are brimming your eyes. Your next words feel heavy on your tongue, not wanting to have to repeat them aloud. “They said my Quirk was perfect for a villain because I can stop heroes.”
In your periphery, you can see the way Kai’s free hand curls into angry fists. You want to reach out and cover it with yours to try and calm him, but are too timid to actually do so.
“They don’t know what they’re talking about,” he snaps, his tone harsh enough that it has you flinching away from him despite knowing that his temper isn’t directed at you — it never is. “They think their Quirks are so special? They want to be heroes?”
You shrug, unable to answer him. Your mind is still wrapped up in Hana’s last insult to you.
“Hana said that the heroes were gonna put us all in the villain prison,” you say, your voice trembling.
“That’s never gonna happen. We’re yakuza, not villain dirt,” Kai replies.
“She said you would all go to prison and then I’d be left all alone,” you continue softly as if he hadn’t spoken. And somehow, your next question manages to sound even more pitiful. “You won’t leave me alone, right?”
“Never,” he assures you and you give a small nod in thanks.
There’s a long pause before Kai finally relinquishes his hold on your backpack so that it falls to your side, your fingers wrapped around the handle tightly.
“I’ll make sure they don’t bother you again,” he tells you and you nervously shake your head.
“Please don’t. They’ll just make fun of me more if you do,” you protest weakly. It wouldn’t be the first time Kai’s protectiveness had only worsened the bullying. When he remains silent, you beg him again. “Please, Kai.”
He exhales loudly and you glance up to see that although he looks unhappy, he doesn’t seem like he’s going to argue with you.
“Fine,” he grumbled, starting to turn away from you before pausing. “But if it happens again, I’ll make them sorry.”
Just as he begins to walk away, you instinctively reach out and grab the back of his shirt — a habit of yours that’s grown over time.
“Thank you for stopping them,” you murmur and you’re embarrassed when your eyes begin to sting with tears again as you remember just how scared you had been of their bullying. “They would have kept going if you weren’t there.”
“I’ll always stop them,” he promises.
“I know,” you say with a watery smile and a soft sniffle.
Kai turns around, causing you to let go of your hold on his shirt. He then interlaces his fingers with your now free ones and tugs you along after him out of the classroom. With him at your side, you finally feel safe enough to face the remaining students lingering through the hallways with their friends.
As long as Kai is with you, none of them would dare approach you. He’s your shield from the bullies who are intent on making your life a living hell.
But whatever sense of safety he gives you is quick to disappear the next morning when you walk into the classroom to find the classmates who are already present surrounding your desk. The mixture of laughter and chatter is deafening as dread settles heavily in your stomach.
They seem to slowly realize you’ve arrived because a path begins to open, allowing you to make your way through the crowd to your desk. You freeze, your heart dropping to the floor when you see why your desk has drawn so much attention.
In black marker, the word ‘VILLAIN’ is scrawled across its surface.
You can’t move and can’t look away. It’s through tears that you see the single cherry blossom petal on your chair.
The following events pass by in a blur, your shame and humiliation clouding your mind so thickly that it feels like there’s a wall keeping you insulated from everything that follows.
Your teacher’s gentle hand on your shoulder leads you from the classroom to the principal’s office. Your father picks you up from school and his comforting words fall on deaf ears. You curl up in your bed, hiding away from the rest of the world. Your housekeeper comes by intermittently to drop off tea, then lunch, then an afternoon snack — all of it going untouched.
None of it feels like it’s real.
You’re simply in a dream, a nightmare.
You’ve convinced yourself so thoroughly that you’ll wake up and everything will be fine that when you feel the duvet being lifted and someone small sliding into your bed behind you, you think that this must be part of your dream as well.
“I made her pay,” Kai’s voice breaks through your haze, his words wrapping you up like a security blanket. “They don’t get to hurt you.”
Silence settles over you, the rest of the afternoon and evening quickly slipping by until your housekeeper gently wakes you the next morning. You don’t even remember falling asleep. When you try to pull your duvet over your head, she pulls it back.
“I know you don’t want to, but your father said you need to go to school today,” she says, her tone soft and kind, as if she’s speaking to a wounded animal. “I’m sorry. I wish I could keep you here, but he said that you needed to present them with a brave face.”
With eyes swollen from all the crying that you’ve done and a head so heavy that it feels like it’s filled with cement, you simply nod and sit up. You’re too tired — and too obedient of a daughter — to argue with your father’s demand.
You go slowly through the motions of getting ready. Too anxious to eat the breakfast that’s laid out before you at Kai’s side, you play absently with your chopsticks until he’s ready to leave.
With your hand in his, the pair of you silently walk to school. When you reach the gates, your feet still and it’s only his tug on your hand that has you following behind him once more. You keep your eyes trained on your shoes, unable to look up and meet anyone’s gaze as you hear them whispering when you pass. When you both arrive at your classroom, he tries to let go of your hand but you cling to him tightly.
“It’s okay. No one will bother you,” he tells you and you glance up to meet his eyes. He looks so certain that after a long moment, you let go of his hand and he nods encouragingly.
Dropping your gaze again, you walk into the classroom. The relief you feel when you see that you’ve been given a brand-new desk calms you slightly. But your anxiety still remains largely unchecked as your classmates’ unintelligible whispers continue.
It’s only once you’re seated in your chair and can finally hear what the girl who sits behind you is saying that your sense of panic begins to abate, realizing that the whispers aren’t about you.
“...broke her leg,” she hisses across the aisle to the boy sitting next to her.
“How?” he asks curiously.
“She fell down the stairs. One of the teachers found her. They had to call an ambulance and everything,” she tells him and it feels like someone has poured a bucket of ice-cold water over you.
‘I made her pay.’
The words that Kai told you last night, the ones that you thought were part of your dream, the ones that made you feel so safe, ring in your ears.
“I saw the teachers all around her. I could see her bone!” one of your classmates loudly interrupts her, eager to show off, and she lets out a loud sound of disgust.
“No, you didn’t!” she argues.
“Yes, I did!” he retorts, angry that she doesn’t believe him. “It was so gross! And she wouldn’t stop crying and screaming.”
“Duh, she fell down the stairs and broke her leg. Wouldn’t you cry and scream?” the first boy points out.
The three of them continue to gossip with your back turned to them. All of it starts to blur together until you hear one of them finally say her name, confirming just who was at the center of the school’s gossip.
“Do you think Hana-chan can walk?”
“She probably just has to get a cast or something. I had to get one when I broke my arm last year,” you hear the girl reply before their whispering fades back into an indecipherable buzz to your ears.
As you look down at your clean desktop, you use your finger to write out the word that was scrawled across your old desk yesterday.
VILLAIN.
You then quickly wipe your hand over its surface, like doing so will erase both the word and the memory.
Maybe you should feel bad about what happened to Hana but all you can think about is how she had thrown that word around at you on an almost daily occurrence and how much time you’ve spent crying because of it.
And when she returns to class a couple of weeks later in a wheelchair and refuses to look in your direction, you decide that what happened to her — what Kai did to her — is alright.
Isn’t she the real villain? She tormented you. She laughed at you. She made you cry. She made sure no one would be your friend. Heroes don’t do that. Heroes are the ones who protect people from that.
And Kai is the one who protected you. It doesn’t matter that he fights with other students. It doesn’t matter that they’re scared of him. It doesn’t matter that he’s going to lead the yakuza one day.
Kai protected you from your villain.
And for that, you decide that Kai will always be your hero.
