Pirates of the Caribbean Captains

The other Pirate Lords during the Brethren Court scenes in At World's End are: Ammand, Chevalle, Sri Sumbhajee Angria, Gentleman Jocard, Mistress Ching, and Eduardo Villanueva. The Keeper of the Code, Edward Teague (Jack's dad), is also there.

Other captains more generally could include Anamaria and Joshamee Gibbs, as well as other pirates/merchant/navy captains in the movies or books or rides.

Tempests in Teacups

New POTC AU!

So whilst chatting online with @thundersongfury at umpteen o’clock in the morning, a new AU was born! 

It’s an afterlife of sorts for the POTC characters, in that nobody's dead, but it's also just a place for them to vibe and chill. In teacups. As chibis. Because they wouldn’t fit otherwise.

They live on a lovely wide wooden table (not all of which is explored).

It’s Calypso’s job to fill the teacups. She takes this very seriously.

Davy Jones supplies the materials- the cups, saucers, drinks, and other such trimmings.

Jack’s original cup cracked (it was Beckett’s fault). Davy Jones got him a new one, a black one, and Calypso keeps it full of- nope! A nice dark coffee with lots of Madagascar vanilla. 

…but she does let him have rum from time to time when he behaves.

Will has lemonade, in a simple utilitarian teacup with a saucer that doubles as his workshop. He likes to share his lemon slices with his friends, especially Elizabeth.

Elizabeth has a pretty floral-patterned teacup full of green tea and honey (and a lemon slice from Will). Sao Feng gave her a little ornamental dragon to twine around her teacup handle, which she is terrifically proud of.

For Barbossa, it’s a dainty porcelain gold-edged teacup full of sherry.

Beckett has white tea, in an elegant teacup with a map of the table painted on it. He's constantly adding to the map and has a bad habit of knocking over other cups so he can get a better view of things.

Norrington had tea first, then rum, but he now has a nice teacup of hot chocolate with a big, soft marshmallow floating in the middle. 

Blackbeard's cup is full of gasoline.

Pintel and Ragetti each have hot water and a single tea leaf in their teacups. They're perfectly happy with this.

Espresso for Carina Smythe, in a blue-painted teacup with tiny stars all over it. Henry Turner, upon tasting a little while visiting, had the zoomies something fierce for about three hours before passing out in her saucer.

Salazar’s cup was broken a long time ago. Not all the shards were found. 

Davy Jones once pushed Jack off the table, but Jack landed on a chair. His friends managed to get to him, and they upturned Jack’s teacup to reach the tabletop again.

Jack and Will once stole a teacup from Norrington, swinging on teabags. They accidentally broke the cup. Norrington was not happy.

Pirate Lady Feng

"You thought that because she is a woman we wouldn't expect anything dangerous?"

"Well if you insist.." Barbossa said

Elizabeth started taking her cape off and took out all weapons she had. I was very impressed to see all the weapons she had. When she wanted to go in, Tai Huang stopped her and asked her to remove her pants. What an asshole.

"You don't have to remove it, Elizabeth Swann" I said and came to them.

Tai Huang looked at me with scared eyes and I looked at him with serious eyes. The other two pirates looked at me questionable.

"And who are you??" Barbossa asked.

"Just follow me"

I walked them down to where Sao Feng was. I stood aside as they came near Sao Feng.

"Captain Barbossa welcome to the Singapore"

They bowed to him.

"I spouse that you want something from me??"

"Im going on adventure but I need a ship and a crew"

"What a coincidence..."

"Is it because you have a ship and a crew you don't need??" Elizabeth asked.

"Nooo, a thief tried to steal my uncle's maps who can get you to Davy Jones's Locker"

They were only looking at him and he looked at them, I showed our people to show the thief. They pulled him out of water.

"This is a thief, do you recognise him?"

These two nodded as no and Sao Feng took out his weapon.

"Than I can kill him"

As he wanted to kill him I took his hand.

"You can't kill a boy"

Everyone were looking at me scared. Sao Feng looked at me and put his weapon away. He took my hand and we got away from a boy. Elizabeth, Barbossa and William were really confused now.

"Who are you??" William asked.

I looked at him and smiled.

"My name is (name) Feng, Sao Feng's wife".

"Since when you have a wife???" Barbossa asked.

"(name) and I got married two years ago. She was my servant. One day Tai Huang came to me saying about this scary maid and when I met her I knew that she will be my wife". Sao Feng said.

"Take off that shit from the boy, he is our guest not enemy". I said

They let William go and he stand next to his girlfriend and his captain.

"You can have a ship and a crew but I want girl to stay" I said.

"What no!!!" William said.

"And why do you want that??" Barbossa asked.

"Because than I know you can't betray us"

"You are giving us your people, they wouldn't betray you" Elizabeth said

"If you have bigger offer they will. They are pirates love not noble people"

Elizabeth looked at Barbossa and William and came to me.

"We have a deal" she said.

I gave them the map and people.

"Go save Jack, so my husband can put him back there once you finish with him"

Sao Feng kissed my hand and we went to our home with Elizabeth. Our maids showed her where she will sleep and we went to our room. Sao Feng kissed me the moment we went inside of the room. He was feeling free now. I went to change to my night clothes and when I finised I found Sao Feng in bed waiting for me. I layed next to him and we were cuddling.

"You are my brain, my love"

"I know, you have stupid ideas all the time" I chuckled.

He kissed me and we went to sleep.

Just ended another potc marathon (yesterday, but time is relative) and an old post about elizabeth came to my mind. Now, I don't remember the exact words or who the op was, but it was like something about how elizabeth somehow is a death omen: every man she kisses, not so much later die.

And while this is of course true, I feel that this isn't all of it. Because then will would've been death long before the third movie, so I'd like to reformulate.

A kiss from elizabeth is deadly, but only when it's forced. We see Sao Feng literally throwing himself at her, even when she opposed resistance, and so he died shortly after. We also watch Jamie Norrington kiss her goodbye once he was sure to never see her again; while this is an extremely bitter moment, elizabeth wasn't aware that a kiss would follow his words, nor was she willingly hoping for a kiss. So in a way, that was a forced kiss, and so Jamie was stabbed seconds after.

While we know that both jack and will died, they came back, in a way or another. And that's because their kisses were elizabeth's will, either for love or survival. And so it was that very will that made them come back:

it is only when will sees elizabeth's grief following jack's death, that he states he's ready to do anything to bring him back; tia dalma then proposes her plan, and everyone's agreement follows.

and it is only when jack sees the desperation in elizabeth's scream and tears, while she sits by will's just-stabbed corpse, that he realises what really matter and decides to offer will a chance of survival and refuse his way for immortalty.

Something so feminine as feelings and emotions turns into the greatest strength of elizabeth. Because tia dalma might have been calypso- the goddess of the sea- but elizabeth is its will. And so, she became the will of death herself.
