Sano Shinichiro - "I Just Love Pathetic Guys"
🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•°•.🐇.•
In which I've made an imagine about how pathetic Sano Shinichiro is and how I think pathetic guys are actually really freaking hot adorable. I just so happen to have a thing for losers and Shinichiro is probably the hottest loser in both the Tokyo Revengers manga and anime.
🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧•♡•🔧
Imagine; he's talking to his friends about how he was yet again rejected for the nth the time now. You just so happen to be nearby and overhear his sad announcement; listening to his friends tease him about how he scares women away.
Imagine; you approach them after a few moments, when they've switched topics to something unrelated. You take his hand and write your number on it; only saying "call me sometime" as you wave goodbye and walk away. He'd be too stuck in the shock he felt to stop you and ask your name.
Imagine; you receive a call from an unknown number as soon as you step foot in your house. And when you pick up the phone you're met with his timid voice, asking if you're the person who gave him their number twenty minutes ago.
Imagine; instead of directly answering him, you somehow rope him into describing you and your first interaction. Hearing him trip over his words as he tries to keep his composure over the phone and seem proud an manly.
Imagine; you get him to practically beg you to allow him to take you on a date. You can't help but laugh how pathetic he is and you tell him so, but you 'agree' to go out with him anyway.
Imagine; he tales you out to eat and keeps reassuring you that he'll pay for everything but in the end, he doesn't have enough money, so you end up paying it in full instead. You can see how embarrassed he is and as bad as it makes you seem, damn do you relish in it.
Imagine; that during the rest of the date he somehow embarrasses himself in some way, shape or form. He can't even look you in the eye at this point and he walks at least two feet behind you, unwilling to try and lead you anymore lest he make even more of a fool out of himself.
Imagine; he drives you back to your place on his bike in silence, too scared to say anything just in case he has a slim chance of seeing you again. He stops in front of your place and you get off his bike, immediately turning to your front door. But, instead of going inside, you set the things he bought you down at your doorstep and walk back to him.
Imagine; that instead of letting him get the first word in, you tell him how much of a loser he is. You can see how deeply it affects him by how sad he looks, but you're not done talking.
Imagine; you take a fist full of his hair and yank him down for a kiss, smashing your lips together. You tell him how he's your exact type and how hot he was today. That he had better take you on another date or you'd kick his ass.
Imagine; you go into your home and you can still hear the hum of his bike's engine from outside. He's still sitting in fron of your house in complete shock. That is... until you hear a loud but muffled "Yes!" from outside.
Fuck. How can someone so pathetic be so damn hot at the same time? You couldn't wait until the second date.

Hi!
Big fan of your works here again :)
What about a step-father TR x reader scenario? Like who do you think would be a good step-father (or a father who stepped up) and some cute moment with the kid or parent of the child?
Thank you for all your hard work and amazing content!
it's no problem, please enjoy!
Tokyo Revengers x gn!reader
✧type of step father they'd be
✧fluff
They're honestly the best you could ask for. They love your child as if it was their own. Sometimes spoiling them (shhh! you're not supposed to know!) and always giving them the love they deserve. The unconditional love they give your child makes it seem like this was how it was meant to be all along.
-Chifuyu, Takemichi, Kazutora, Mitsuya, Shinichiro, Draken
A strict father yes but, is your child safe? 100%. Never would let any harm come their way. Your child is having trouble with bullies at school? They'll take one look at him and second guess it. Obviously, he wouldn't take it as far as to use violence (unless it was absolutely necassary), he know's his limits (most times).
-Draken, Kazutora, Mikey, Ran, Baji
Another strict father but, he protects your child in another way. Yes, he can be strict about curfew or having their homework done but, he really does love them! He wouldn't resort to protecting them physically but, will stand up for them if needed. His strictness is just showing that he wants them to be safe!
-Naoto, Inui
please do not repost any of my work without my permission, thank you for reading.

Home for Dinner- Shinichiro x gn!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: January 7th, 2024
Description: Shin said he'd be home for dinner.
Notes: This was originally going to be an unlisted fic, but it was written with Shin in mind and I couldn't think of anyone else it would apply too. But it's vague enough you could think of anyone.
Word count: 237
Back to directory
“I’ll be home for dinner.”
It’s whispered into the chill early morning air. A puff of breath against your temple, followed by the gentle brush of rough lips. Like a dream, it’s there and then it’s not.
“I love you.”
All you can manage is a soft mumble and a nod, half buried in the pillow, before you lull back to sleep.
Now, as you sit at the dinner table in front of two cold plates, you wonder if you’d even tried to proclaim your love. Had that mumble been an attempt, or had it simply been an acknowledgement? When you texted him today, did you sign any of your texts with “I love you”? Even a simple “stay safe”?
You had. When he sent you a text saying “I’ll be late”, you’d replied “Alright, I’ll start dinner a bit late then. Stay safe.” Stay safe, not I love you.
You stare at the notifications on your phone, texts and missed calls from one friend. All one friend, the same friend, his friend. There’s no point in picking up, you know what’s happened– you knew as soon as you set the table.
Still, when the phone lights up once more with an incoming call, you swipe to accept.
“Hello?” You can barely recognize your voice, it sounds distant and hollow as you set the phone to speaker and stare straight at the empty place.
“I’m so sorry.”

Honestly, how shinichiro managed to worm his way into my heart still surprises me...
He deserves love too! Nobody is "normal" by any standard so how does such a cute weirdo like him get rejected 20 times?! Whatever if none of the girls who rejected him want him, I guess that means no competition for being his one and only 😏 This one is for my shinichiro lovers!!! He may be a loser but he can get a w while being a lovable dork. If takemichi can get bitches, then it shouldn't be out of the question that the same can apply for Shin!
Premise- You're walking in the usual crowded halls and there you bump into the boy who every girl gossips about at school. He's weird, he doesn't know how to talk to women, he's been rejected 20 times... Wait what? How does that happen?!
The only real thing I should note for this little fic is that you and Wakasa are familiar with one another. The relationship can be familial or platonic. Might give some background in a follow up part if anyone is interested in exploring that aspect in detail. Reader,as usual,is gender neutral for inclusion of all who read.
Lose to win
Shinichiro Sano x Reader
How many dates would you go on with this guy? Honest answer for the shinichiro simps out there, I know you're out there!
Personally, I'd go on however many dates he wants. If none of those girls want him, I'll take him myself 🙄 their loss
Honestly school is shit. Especially when you're the subject of gossip and your friends have better luck with pulling than you. That was the case for Shinichiro Sano. Poor guy had been rejected 20 times, he was about ready to give up and just fully dedicate himself to the gang life with his love for bikes. Walking down the hall with him were his friends Wakasa Imaushi, Takeomi Akashi, and Keizo Arashi (Benkei).
"Honestly Shin, I'm starting to worry about ya bud. You are just woman repellant, I feel so sorry for you."
"Maybe his charisma just doesn't work on girls? You really need to stop letting your intrusive thoughts win, man... Girls avoid you like the plague and I don't need you scarin' off the bad bitch I snagged this week..."
"You'll find someone eventually. Girls are picky. If it doesn't work out, who knows? Maybe datin' ain't it for you. If not, you got us! We can go out and kick some ass! Cheer up man!"
Shinichiro gave a small smile to Benkei 's attempt to lighten the mood. He gave a frown to Waka and Takeomi, feeling the white-haired boy give him a light punch to his arm with a chuckle. Some friends they are, he joked until he felt an impact with his chest that prompted him to stop with his friends pausing as well. You had bumped into him on your way to class and bowed your head, embarrassed for getting in his way.
"Sorry... I wasn't watching where I was going. I didn't mean to bump into you! I'll get out of your way... Sorry for the inconvenience. I'll-"
"No no you're fine! This hallway is pretty crowded so it was inevitable for this to happen."
Shinichiro laughed, rubbing the back of his neck while his friends looked down at you. You were going to move aside and continue your trip to your classroom when Wakasa spoke to you.
"Yo y/n, before we let you go off to class, I got a question for ya. You got a type?"
The question was completely out of left field so it flustered you a bit. What kind of question was that? Wakasa is prone to asking odd questions, sometimes to perform his own personal social experiments among other students or simply for his own personal reasons. Maybe to try and see what kind of person they are? You'll never know, Waka has always been aloof and a bit mysterious in your time of knowing him. You shrug and figure maybe this was a test of his, so you'll bite.
"In partners? I guess it doesn't really matter as long as they're not an absolute dickhead or douchebag just looking for some ass. I can't stand people like that..."
You trailed off as you had glanced up at Shinichiro who looked like he wanted to be swallowed up by the floor beneath him. You slowly put the pieces together as you remembered overhearing girls giggling and laughing or gagging in over exaggerated disgust about some boy named Shinichiro who had supposedly asked them out, but they either blew him off or he somehow screwed up his chance by saying something weird that creeped them out/ turned them off from pursuing anything with semblance to a date. You then glanced over to Wakasa as you were now curious to see where he was going with the question now answered.
"You've probably heard around the hallways, but this guy has had an unlucky streak with the ladies. Unlike everyone else, you're one of the nice ones here on campus. You can probably see where I'm going with this."
You nodded, looking back at the embarrassed delinquent busying his gaze with the floor to avoid looking at his friend who was smirking slightly at the response. A gentle tilt of the chin upwards was almost enough to put the boy into cardiac arrest as he instinctively swallowed against your hold. His charcoal eyes meet your (e/c) ones in hesitation, you can see the anxiety building behind them. He watched your lips as you spoke your next words, his ears at attention.
"Shinichiro Sano. 20 rejections? What did you do to scare them off?"
"Too honest and open."
"Speaks before he thinks."
"Being himself is apparently the worst advice to give him..."
You weren't expecting the three boys to list every fuck up the guy made for every girl he potentially had interest in. You almost felt bad for his string of bad luck, but you figured Waka chose you for the most obvious reason.
You didn't have the best track record with dating either. Although you don't like to admit it, you can sympathize with the guy. Girls, as a joke or genuinely, have warned/told you not to get involved with Shinichiro. Social suicide they said, you'll never be able to eat with the little friends or acquaintances you have due to associating with the weirdo, he's not worth it, and so many other disheartening things they spewed from their mouths.
Who were they to tell you not to give the guy a chance? Half of the girls spouting that crap are either dating his friends, fucking with them, or haven't gone out with the guy and are simply regurgitating what everyone else is saying so they don't get the side-eyed by the ones who started spreading the information around. Some say he's bad in bed, others say he's not loyal, one girl said she couldn't stand the smell of smoke from his cigarettes, another said he's impulsive, and so on. They all had something to say about him, never positive things. You would decide, not them. You had a mind of your own and you could tell a person's intentions based on their behavior.
So what if he's bad in bed? Sex ain't everything in a relationship after all.
Most of the girls couldn't say anything about being unfaithful to their lovers when the hypocrisy in their words couldn't have been any louder.
You honestly couldn't say anything about the cigarette smell, but he should quit while his lungs are still healthy and taking in oxygen as they should. The smell is an easy fix, just spritz cologne lightly and it should overpower the nicotine. Some girls don't mind the smell or taste.
As for the impulsive part, that comes with being a teenager. Hormones play a part as well as other factors. You were a bit impulsive yourself so maybe every now and then you say something wild or out of turn that would have the class eyeing you like hawks and wishing you could vanish right then and there in the moment. Perfectly natural for both men, women, and those in between. Nothing new, nothing bad.
Half of the things they listed weren't heinous or anything worth slandering his name for. If not to put these stupid rumors to rest, then just to satisfy your buzzing questions and learn more about the boy who supposedly repels girls away instead of attracting. You don't know what the fuss is about, he's a good looking guy and from the times you've passed by him and his friends, he's a pretty chill and easygoing person. He's never caused trouble, his grades are decent, has no problem with making friends, and you wouldn't assume he's the type of guy who goes around beating up other students to assert his dominance and show off his strength. Shinichiro Sano seems like your average guy who might, one day, work as a mechanic.
"You're L/n-san, right? Y/N? Y-you don't have to if you don't want to... I wouldn't want to waste your time or bring down your reputation by asking you out. I'd only cause problems for you and the guilt would eat at me..."
"What are you talking about? What reputation? I'm not losing anything from going out with you. If anything, I think I wanna be the first girl to ask you out for a date~ If that's alright with you."
You stopped his train of thought right then and there, a smile he swore took the breath from his lungs and made his heart thump hard enough to nearly trigger a panic in him. You asking him ,out of all the guys at school, on a date? He swears up and down his face has never been so hot and red like a cherry tomato before. The smugness of his best friends couldn't have been so loud and visible to the raven-haired delinquent.
It's a big deal because, while you aren't picky about who you date and go out with, you still have standards and on top of that, major trust issues as a result of relationships that have crashed and burned for many reasons you don't want to think about or remember right now.
"Is it cool if I join you guys for lunch period? For once, I don't wanna eat by myself like I usually do. Maybe I can also get to know the gossip topic himself better so I have a better read of him. I have a fairly good idea of who he is,but I wanna hear it from his mouth for myself."
"Y-yeah! It's perfectly fine for you to hang with us! T-the more the merrier right?"
He can't get any cuter or be more of a dork, you thought to yourself with a soft smile. The boys walked you to class and you breezed through most of the lectures with ease. Before you can even squeeze in a little nap, it's lunchtime and unlucky for you, you completely forgot to make yourself lunch this morning before you took off towards the school grounds. You sighed in disappointment, trudging to the roof as you also didn't have enough money for even a little snack to suffice. All you brought with you on the way up was your sketchbook for doodling while you ate, but maybe today was looking up for you.
"Hey. You made it...Did you forget to make yourself lunch before you went to bed again last night?"
The look on your face gave Wakasa his answer, he chuckled as Shinichiro had been telling Benkei that he was saving the extra bento he made to hopefully give to someone (preferably someone who was a good cook) as a taste tester for his cooking. Ever since his little brother and sister started teasing him about being a bad cook, he had become determined to improve his culinary skills in the kitchen to get his rotten little siblings off his back and prove he was a good cook. The lunch he made tasted fine to him, however a second opinion was needed due to his taste being an "unreliable source" to his siblings and grandfather. No more takeout, he would learn to cook for them. Plus, it makes good practice.
"Alright, what idea kept you up this time? I'm assumin' ya jotted it down in your handy sketchbook so let me have a look and see."
While Benkei was distracted by whatever you had stayed up late to work on instead of getting your precious sleep, Takeomi saw the extra lunch Shinichiro made as a perfect opening for the two of you. He nudged their leader and nodded his head over to you to signal him into seizing the golden opportunity to learn more about you. The messy haired bundle of nerves that was Shinichiro gave a subtle nod to his friend's encouragement, sighing deeply as Wakasa sat on one side of you and Benkei sat by Takeomi. You and Shinichiro were sat in the middle as the five of you sat against the fence walls along the school rooftop, Waka seeming to get the same idea that Takeomi had when he remembered the extra bento his friend was holding onto.
"Uh hey Y/n? So I've gotten into cooking recently on account of wanting to get better at it for my lil siblings and grandpa. S-since you forgot to make lunch for today, I figured maybe you could try the extra one I made and have that if you like it. If it's cool with you, I wanna see what you were working on last night too in exchange. If you're not cool with that, I'll still give you the lunch either way!"
You nodded, a bit nervous about showing him the doodles and pieces you scribbled away in the confines of your sketchbook, but you figured it wouldn't hurt for him to see. You didn't think you were the best artist and admittedly didn't think you were good at cooking to really be a good judge of taste testing. Wakasa would shut down any and all belittling of your skills, be your number one cheerleader, and encourage you to pursue your hobby. If you didn't think you were the best cook, shut up. How dare you call his friend a bad cook? He should have you cook something for him and he'll judge it for himself.
Shinichiro traded you the lunch for your sketchbook under the single condition that he didn't laugh and make fun of what you worked on until 2 in the morning before finally falling asleep upon satisfaction of your finished product. Let it be known that you rarely show anyone your work on account of being laughed at and/or bullied for the subject matter of your pieces. You were an anime fan, you liked to watch anime at night and often imagined scenarios between you and your favorite characters from the media, if inspiration struck (more often than not as you're getting ready to go to bed) you would draw said idea in your sketchbook, erasing and redrawing line after line until it looked exactly like your daydream or was close enough to it.
Watching with held breath as the charcoal eyes of Shin glided across the page where your latest piece from the night before sat. He admired each line you drew, the expressions, poses, no space on the filled canvas was left untouched by the observant eyesight of the gang leader. You were so worried about what he thought about your artwork that you hadn't touched the lunch he gave to you. What did he think of the doodles you made? Was he gonna laugh at you too? So many questions flow into your mind, filling your stomach with dread and slowly regretting handing over your sketches.
"I recognize this character! I've seen the anime before, but I can't remember the name. God... What's it called? Oh! A/n (Anime/name)! It was really good!"
"You've seen that anime? Y-you watch anime? I didn't think you were the type to be into that."
"Well, I remember reading the manga for it and thinking 'what's the anime like?' so I watched it and I got invested! This art is really cool! I like the way you drew them, is this your character in the anime? They look really nice."
You smiled, nodding as Shinichiro didn't need you to tell him what was what. He did notice you hadn't touched the lunch he made yet, he looked through the other pages before he was satisfied with taking in your work and committing it to his memory.
Eventually, you opened the bento and found delicious food inside, wafting to your nostrils and making you salivate from the aroma. Shinichiro watched you drool over what he cooked this morning, pride blooming in his chest at the sense of accomplishment but he needed to know if you would eat it. He needed you to take a bite and give him your thoughts on how it came out. Now you were the one being observed closely with bated breath by Shinichiro as you thanked him for the food, bringing a portion up to your lips taking a bite of what you grabbed. The flavor made you tear up with a smile, chewing thoughtfully to savor the taste in your mouth.
You won't forget the looks on their faces as Wakasa cackled from the range of emotion in his friends in response to what you said about Shinichiro and his food. Shinichiro was redder than a strawberry and trying to cover his face, Benkei nearly spit out his food from how wild your response to the food was, and Takeomi was just as flabbergasted if not in utter disbelief at what came out of your mouth. Once Wakasa could breathe somewhat and finally wipe the laugh tears from his lavender eyes, all the snow haired boy had to say was:
"I told you you weren't the only one who blurts out weird shit on impulse! I tooold you!!!"
You hadn't even realized what you said until you saw Shin turn into a tomato with his coal eyes wide open in shock and other things in the mix. He'd be lying if he said he wasn't flattered by the comment on his cooking. It meant he was improving and his practice was starting to pay off. Did you really love what he cooked that much? If so, he'd make a personal note to try and cook more for you in the future. Maybe he could even taste your cooking one day if the date was still gonna happen and it went well. The date was still on and you'd make sure it was fun for the both of you. This date would be the best one that you and Shinichiro had ever been on.
"Ready to go?"
You gave Shinichiro a nod, looking forward to how this date would pan out. Even if the date didn't go well, you would give him the opportunity to take you on another one to make up for it. The two of you had fun riding around together, watching the world pass by as you were behind him on the bike. He'd check on you every few minutes to make sure you were okay, slow down if he felt you were nervous about the speed he was going, he was very accommodating and that alone made the afternoon all the more enjoyable for you.
Shinichiro took you to the movie theater, you had tickets but wouldn't tell him what movie you were seeing. You wanted it to be a surprise, and you had good seats in the back with a perfect view of the screen as long as no one blocked it in the middle row. You two had all kinds of snacks and the best part about this theater was the security doing their job to ensure the watchers had a good time which meant they made sure everyone turned off their phones or put them on silent. If they didn't, well they would "mysteriously lose signal" on their phones and would be forced to go outside to get better reception. If they brought noisy kids, quiet them down or leave. If you stepped out of the viewing room for any other reason besides going to the bathroom or getting more snacks for the movie, you weren't allowed back inside to avoid disrupting the movie for everyone else.
If the adults who were disregarding the viewing room rules of turning off their phones brought kids, the children would have to leave with the parents or whomever the adult in attendance was. They were serious about their jobs and they too respect the rules of the viewing rooms. You had gotten mildly annoyed because as the movie was getting good, that's when the wailing of upset babies, ringing phones, and loud talking began.
Unbeknownst to either of you, Wakasa happened to be in the watch room with the two of you, acting as the discreet wing man once he spotted you both on the way in. Waka did his part and helped jam the signals of any moviegoers who were on the phone when they shouldn't have been. Many complaints followed by irritated teens and adults alike exited the theater to get better reception to their dropped calls or messages they couldn't send, falling into the trap of being kicked out via signal jammers. If they came with kids, the kids would be escorted to their families to avoid the risk of leaving them unsupervised. It's not like they would be allowed to come back inside once they were out anyway.
With the amount of noise now back at acceptable levels, you could hear the movie and enjoy your large shared bucket of popcorn that you got for the two of you to share. Although you both weren't focused on the movie, moreso on one another as you both softly conversed in the back row while munching on your snacks and sipping your respective drinks. Really, you two were using the time to get better acquainted with one another by learning about your common interests and what lives you two lived. By the time you two noticed the movie was nearly over, you felt kinda bad for not watching it because you didn't know what the movie was about.
You let out a breath you didn't know you were holding when Shinichiro admitted he wasn't really focused either. He'd already seen the movie several times so it didn't really matter, but he still had a great time with you and that's all that really mattered at the end of the day. The movie could have been absolute garbage and he'd much rather talk with you than watch it because he really liked you. You'll admit that,on some level, part of you is happy that other girls aren't attracted to Shinichiro and think they're out of his league. Because you aren't too sure you'd have been able to compete otherwise if there had been anyone else that was interested. If it were up to you, you'd keep this handsome, dorky sweetheart of a boy all to yourself and Shinichiro wouldn't mind it. If this is what being loved feels like, then he's all yours and how can he refuse someone as sweet as you if you ever suggested being his one and only lover? He can't and he won't.
I hope I did Shinichiro justice 👉👈 Same with Wakasa and the other boys too, they haven't been animated yet but with how they act in the manga, I assume they're a couple of bros that fuck around and tease their leader about his failing love life. They might shit on him for it but hey, they aren't your friends if they don't at least try to help set you up with someone they think you have a shot with or try to cheer you up if you've been rejected back to back. Bros roast each other but they've got each other's backs when they need it.

「 ✦ ONE LAST RIDE ✦ 」
☆. # SHIP — shinichiro x gender neutral!reader
☆. # AUTHOR’S NOTE — just an exercise to get back into writing hehe <3
☆. # WARNINGS — tokyo revengers manga spoilers, implied character death
The night was warm, the sky clear, and the moon cast a silvery glow over the empty streets as Shinichiro Sano revved his motorcycle. You stood there, hesitant, but he flashed you that trademark grin, the one that always made you feel like everything would be alright.
“Come on,” he said, patting the seat behind him. “One last ride. Just you and me.”
You didn’t need to be asked twice. Sliding onto the bike, you wrapped your arms around him, feeling the steady beat of his heart beneath your hands. He felt so alive, so invincible, and you couldn’t help but smile as the engine roared to life.
The world blurred as he sped through the city, weaving through streets you both knew so well. The wind whipped through your hair, and you laughed, the sound lost in the rush of the ride. Shinichiro didn’t say much, but he didn’t need to. The silence between you was comfortable, filled with years of shared memories.
As you rode, you noticed the way he looked at everything–the neon lights, the dark alleys, the distant horizon. There was a sadness in his eyes, a deep melancholy that you couldn’t quite place, but you pushed it aside, focusing on the thrill of the moment.
Eventually, he slowed the bike, pulling to a stop on a hill overlooking the city. You both got off, and he took a seat on the grass, staring out at the twinkling lights below. You joined him, the cool earth grounding you after the adrenaline rush.
“Thanks for coming with me,” he said softly, his voice carrying a weight it hadn’t before.
“Of course,” you replied, nudging him playfully. “You know I’d go anywhere with you.”
He chuckled, but it was bittersweet. “Yeah… I know.”
You sat there in silence, the night stretching on as the city lived and breathed beneath you. He turned to you, his expression more serious than you’d ever seen it. “I need you to promise me something.”
“Anything,” you said, the word coming out more easily than you expected.
“Keep moving forward,” he whispered. “No matter what happens, don’t look back. Live your life without regrets.”
The way he said it, the way his eyes seemed to plead with you–it sent a shiver down your spine. You wanted to ask what he meant, why he was acting like this, but something held you back.
“I promise,” you said instead, trying to sound more confident than you felt.
He smiled, but it didn’t reach his eyes. “Good.”
The ride back was quieter, slower, as if he was savoring every moment. When you finally returned, he didn’t say anything as he parked the bike and helped you off. You turned to him, a million questions on the tip of your tongue, but the words died in your throat.
He looked at you with a kind of finality that made your heart ache. “Take care of yourself,” he said, his voice barely above a whisper. And then, without another word, he turned and walked away, disappearing into the shadows.
You watched him go, a sense of unease settling over you. It wasn’t until later, when you heard the news, that you understood. The man who had been your friend, your protector, was gone–lost to a world that never seemed to give him a break.
And as the tears fell, you remembered the way he’d looked at you that night, the way he’d held on just a little bit tighter during that last ride. He’d known. Somehow, he’d known.
But in that moment, with the wind in your hair and the city at your feet, he’d made sure you didn’t.

Lost Generation
A breeze whistled between your footsteps, ambling in a slow, thoughtless pace that had him thinking both of you had all the time in the world, even if the road ahead was just another meandering path to a farewell. “You'd stay in Black Dragons for a long time, right?”
pairings: benkei | keizo arashi/reader ❁ background (oblivious) shinichiro sano/reader
content tags: companion piece prequel to green light and spin-off to couldn't tell. first gen black dragons ultraviolence era. gender neutral reader. summer coming-of-age ft. gangs. lots of bromance and bickering. mostly friendship. growing up together and growing apart. beach trip. preemptive grief. tw: violence (and glorification of violence), shady gang behavior, underage drinking and smoking, and minors getting tattoos. there's a weird age gap scene with college-aged women showing interest in someone younger, nothing sexual happens but still. everyone is 17-18 here.
a/n: like my waka fic, this is mostly platonic!first gen black dragons x reader but more benkei and bromance and beaches. also no one man-crushes harder than benkei lol. btw it's not necessary to read my other installments for this and lots of flashbacks interspersed in the plot!
couldn't tell ❁ green light ❁ read on ao3
From the highway to Chiba, it’s like all of you parted the sea on your motorcycles.
Benkei smelled salt everywhere. There was no end to the ocean that surrounded the road ahead, the industrial plants no more but distant daydreams back in Kawasaki, and then he realized he hadn’t been exposed to open water like this, swore to have never ridden a ferry in his life.
His heart was too landlocked in the city to care, but this was all Shin’s idea.
Said he wanted to go to a real beach, all white sand shores, shaved ice, and hot babes.
The journey was still more than an hour-long drive, and Benkei would love nothing more than to throw himself underwater right now. Takeomi wouldn’t stop ranting about the heat and truck traffic. Ignoring his tirade, Wakasa was tanner for baking under the sun. You’re almost caught speeding for badly needing a restroom break, which Shinichiro had to prevent along the way to Umihotaru.
The pitstop was short but unhurried. Takeomi was still at the register while Benkei and Shinichiro soaked up the frosty air of beverage coolers until the store manager told them off. Chewing gum, Wakasa waited with you outside the convenience store. Your gaze was elsewhere, drifting in the waves, and the trance went on upon arriving at Onjuku Beach, crowded in the summertime.
Benkei never got to know what was on your mind, riveted by a statue of two camel riders from a distance.
A water bottle was tapped on his arm, and after he exchanged his thanks, you asked him, “where do you think they’re going?”
“Who knows? The sea maybe,” he replied, uncapping the bottle for a drink and dumping the rest on his face, dribbling cold water all over his collar.
“There are showers here, you know.” Your lips quirked up amusedly, and then you pointed at the shoreline crested over with blue, radiant waves. “Or you can go over there.”
“Got excited.” Benkei grinned, finally shrugging off his open shirt and balling it up to wipe himself. The tattoos on his chest and arms flexed from the motion and it caught the curious eye of a child, building sandcastles. She wasn't old enough to turn them into a wall yet. “Aren’t you gonna swim too?”
“Maybe later. No one’s guarding our stuff,” you said, jerking your head at the beach blanket pile-dumped with bags, a haphazard mess. There's a sweaty t-shirt, a tube squirting a bit of sunscreen on the cloth, and some mixed garbage of snack wrappers and half-empty bottled drinks shoved inside a plastic bag.
Benkei cringed, about to comment, until he got a good look at you. Traded for your glasses was a pair of shades from the bargain bin, making you look like a poser, though with the way you quietly huddled and sat on the blanket, arms tucked to your chest, the obnoxious air dispelled. He joined you, ducking under the umbrella; yellow and blue pinstripes, like the ones rented by couples entwined under the shade. You scooted over to give him more room, your elbows brushing each other.
“Where are the others anyway?”
“Waka went somewhere, I don't know. Shin dragged Takeomi to, well,” a long, expectant sigh, “girls.”
You snorted. “It is a beach. Sure they’re trying to get their dicks wet too.”
Benkei laughed. You never withheld yourself for those two. Perhaps it came from knowing them since childhood.
“Hey, what are the odds? Maybe our weak king might have a chance this time.”
“Or come here crying, same old.” You already sound done though there's a sort of rough affection grating through your words, “Shin's a baby like that.”
“A baby?” Some crybaby who had Tokyo in the palm of his hand. Someone who Benkei had sworn to follow for the rest of his life.
“Yup. So how well do you take rejections?”
“Pretty bad. I’ll cry too if I had to lose someone that way. You?”
You mulled over it for a bit. “I don't know. I haven't confessed to anyone before.”
“Me neither.”
“Really?”
“Yeah. Probably would’ve scared ‘em off before I could try.”
“You don't know that yet,” you refuted. “But I think you’ll fall for someone who's brave enough to let you try.”
His lips curled up at that. His vice-captain told him something similar after gaining the love of his now girlfriend, lucky bastard. “You know me that well?”
“Sure I do,” you said cheekily before tilting your head on one side, humming in thought. “At least I know it’d hurt a lot to lose someone like that . . .”
Benkei was unable to add more because it's just as you put it. He didn't mind listening to you most of the time. There's something revealing about your input that he hadn't taken into consideration himself.
Wakasa would've labeled him a blockhead unlike Takeomi who'd been wise enough to not slip aloud that Benkei wasn't the smartest in their group. It's not the reason why he’d been expelled from his first middle school and he didn't see it as a point of shame if he could smite some sense into anyone who thought otherwise.
Benkei just fancied himself a big picture kind of guy, preferring to focus on the broader strokes of something, but maybe that's why he valued your tangents. He wondered if wearing fake glasses helped with your attention to detail, even though he couldn't take you seriously in them.
You pushed up your shades and he sighed. Or in any tacky eyewear you own, really.
“You should talk to some girls,” you prompted suddenly, making him let out a huff, c’mon man, and you shrugged. “Or go surfing then. It's better than cooping yourself here with me.”
“Now you sound like you want me to go away.”
“Never. Just meant you should enjoy the beach while you can.”
“I enjoy being with you.”
A meek, baffled pause. He’d always caught you off guard with big statements like that, wondering if people say that enough to you other than Shinichiro.
You recovered with a simper. “Me too,” still awkward after reciprocating, you changed the subject, “it’d be so nice to swim . . .”
In an attempt to cool off, you're tugging the collar of your t-shirt to fan yourself but it's futile when sweat had already curled on the hairs from the nape of your neck. You hadn't changed into any swimwear yet, and then a more intrusive thought caught up to him.
“Yeah, we should go together.”
“Sure . . .” this time, you removed the stupid shades, your eyes sincere as they met his. “But just so you know, I won't be mad at you if you went ahead of me.”
Blinking, Benkei felt a bit misled by that, and before he could insist on waiting for you, you beat him to it.
“I’ll definitely follow after you till someone takes my place,” you reassured him, gazing back at the sea. “One of us has to stay behind.”
True to your word, you did catch up to him. Wakasa tailed after you from the shore, calf-deep into water.
"What are the two of you doing?" asked Benkei, wading towards you. The sun prickled his damp neck.
"Jellyfish hunting," you stated. "Waka agreed that if he gets stung by one, I get to piss on him. Or the other way around, whoever gets stung first."
When Benkei gawked at you, you offered with a straight face, "wanna join in too?"
Bemused and wide-eyed, Benkei turned his gaze to Wakasa.
"So you're that kind of guy."
"What's that supposed to mean?"
Wakasa wasn't really into the kinky stuff. Though for all his standoffishness, he was a lot smoother than what Benkei gave him credit for persuading you to come out here when the bastard had been better at ignoring a person as if they never existed. Or destroying them.
It's more amusing to see him sweat for something – someone adamant as you – which granted Benkei so many chances to sneak in not-so-subtle jabs at him in moments like this. Moments where everyone's dumb and careless and in love with their youth.
"I think I saw—fuck!"
You slipped, about to fall into water, until Benkei grasped the back of your collar and Wakasa caught you by the wrist. All of your shorts were wet from the splashing.
Your shades fell in an awkward drop and you craned your head up at them with a grateful grin, murmuring, “uh, just seaweed . . .”
This didn't deter you in your search. In fact, it made you more motivated. Benkei didn't tell you that there weren't any jellyfish in Onjuku Beach, so did Wakasa. They agreed that your efforts were sort of endearing.
Benkei asked Wakasa if he'd let you piss on him. He didn't answer for awhile until he settled for a shrug.
Sparing him a retort, Benkei didn't repress a chuckle.
Benkei met you when he hurtled himself headfirst into a fight that wasn't his.
It was yours. Though it just didn't sit well with him that those Kodo Rengo pricks had the gall to step into their territory so the enemy of my enemy was my friend and he went along with that logic when he abruptly joined in with the impact of a boulder.
You didn't seem like you were a part of any gang at all. Just a random middle schooler but a target regardless. Not an easy one, that's for sure. You fought like you'd been at it for years, all blood and grit.
You were strong and Ragnarok happened to be in search of that kind of strength so he figured he should recruit you first before someone else did.
The thing was you weren't just a target when you earned quite a reputation, tied to your older brother who was the leader of a gang that ruled Kanto with an iron-fist from some glorious past. His seniors never shut up about it, him and them being a part of something that used to make them invincible.
Someone who you despised and even with the proposition of taking him down after he’s released from his jail sentence, you'd still decline his offer, not giving it much thought. "I'm sort of helping out my friend. Said something about making a gang."
“Ah, so you're already in his gang . . .”
“No, he just always gets into a lot of trouble! If I’m not there, who’s gonna protect him?”
“Protect, huh.”
But that meant he'd have to fight you too one of these days. You didn't tense over his reply, neither a threat nor an insult.
Behind those glasses, there's an edge to your eyes. Your brother's eyes, but they weren't cold and wretched.
Benkei couldn’t recall the last time anyone had insistently called him Arashi-san or had bought him a steamed meat bun out of politeness, even though he’d known for years that polite people would rather not hold his gaze, passing over him in an attempt to shun what didn’t fit in the mold of what defined their monotonous, undisturbed lives.
Regardless, he’s not one to refuse free food and taking another bite of his meat bun, he looked at you closely.
You were terrifying but you seemed sort of nice. In an uptight way.
So Benkei suggested that you and your friend should just join his gang and you blinked at him before wheezing out a short, honest laugh, claiming that he had already set out his dream.
Learning he never equaled you in a fight, it only registered to Benkei that he's a weak guy because strength dictated everything in this brutal side of life. Strength like yours and his. When Benkei asked how he was going to lead a gang, you stood against the brilliant glare of the evening and he thought he saw a glimpse of it.
You smoldered in those colors, one he likened to glory. There was promise in your words.
"You'll see," you said, staring back at him from your shoulder with a smile. "You probably haven't met anyone like him."
The red sun fell on the name from your lips.
Sano Shinichiro.
There’s no history behind his name like yours and it intrigued him so much that he agreed to meet him so that he could beat him up in a fair fistfight, bringing up that whoever's the victor would have you in his gang.
Benkei didn’t lose but the favor went to Shinichiro just because he was the most interesting guy he'd ever met.
He had never met a man who won from his losses. How could one be so triumphant and pathetic at the same time, Benkei didn't know. Though he understood what you meant when you stood by him.
Shinichiro held the things closest to him sacredly and once he called you his friend, he wouldn’t give you up for anything. Benkei didn’t complicate himself to define what kind of relationship you had. All he had to know was how he fought for you against him, against rival gangs, and even against your brother.
Everyone held him in reverence for being a pillar of the delinquent world. Except for you.
Your gaze for him was more familiar, softer, though unlike Takeomi, you disagreed with him in too many instances about his reckless lifestyle and the proposal as one of his captains. Shinichiro would come back to you a second time, third, fourth, perhaps more as to measure the desire to have you join them officially. They were convinced he'd be on his knees if this went on though he held up strong in a battle of fortitude.
Both of you, however, just happened to have the thickest skulls when you butt heads over each other's stubbornness.
"Of course, you're going to be a part of the Black Dragons. Hell, you're even a founding member!"
"You already got what you want! I don't see why you still have to drag me in your gang too."
"I thought we'd do this together? Why not go all the way when you could be my—"
"Should we break them up?"
Wakasa was the one who suggested it after mentioning that you looked like you're about to duke it out. Sensing the escalating tension too, Benkei was about to step in until Takeomi shook his head, cigarette in his hand.
He assured them that you wouldn't hit him for something like that. Another drag of smoke and a sigh.
"Just give 'em time."
Everyone split on a big bowl of mango shaved ice.
Two of you were against red beans mixed in at the suggestion of matcha flavor. It wasn't as fun when the syrup couldn't stain your tongues, but it was refreshingly cold and milky sweet when swimming had failed you under the afternoon scorch of 2 p.m.
Prioritizing dessert didn't ruin your appetites for chatter over lunch: comparing sunburns, college girls in bikinis that were way out of everyone's league, and then a callout about Takeomi having his hair tied back into a bun because it actually drew attention. The scar gave him an edge and inflated his vanity. Some more waffling about what women were into, even though no one probably knew what they're talking about.
You found it weird because they're older than the rest of you and Takeomi brought up that you weren't when you had that dragon tattoo.
“It's not for showing off to have a hookup.”
“Then what’s the tattoo about anyway?” asked Wakasa and his sudden interest had you flustered.
“Yeah, tell us about that.” Benkei smirked with him, cornering you into a hot seat.
“Bet you cried like a pussy when you had it,” retorted Takeomi.
“Bet you are a pussy when you don’t even have one.”
“Hey, you little—"
“Anyway,” Shinichiro cut in, clearing his throat. He plucked a piece of karaage dipped in mayo from your plate because he's the last one waiting for his food and it’d already been thirty minutes. He was nibbling on Benkei’s fries awhile ago. All of you agreed to feed him out of pity. “Why do you have one?”
“You already know!” you hollered, bumping your fist on the table from the betrayal.
“Huh? Don’t remember,” he feigned obliviousness. “I wasn’t with you when you had it done.”
“You’re still sulking about that?”
“Whatever. C’mon, just tell us—”
“Number 105!”
“Finally.” Shinichiro stood up, taking his stub with him before shooting back at everyone, “you better not start anything without me!”
He headed to the popular food stall that had the longest line in the area. Probably was the reason why he was in the mood for grilled eel.
“So how long did you have it?” went on Wakasa, casually chewing on a yakitori stick like a toothpick.
“Hm, it’s been four weeks, I think? It isn’t that sensitive anymore.”
“That’s fine. It’s the same for me when I had mine the first time,” Benkei chimed in.
“It's a hassle to cover up in school, though.”
“Aren’t you committing yourself more to the gang?”
Takeomi interrupted, scrutinizing you under his hard stare. You returned it with an unblinking one.
“Nah, I’m just attached.” You shrugged before leaning back on your palms, smiling a little. “Figured it was kinda obvious.”
On the day Benkei brought you to the tattoo parlor, he thought the dragon was botched when it's facing the wrong direction.
He’d been more indignant about it than you were, not even realizing his voice raised in complaint, until you touched his wrist and censured him for being too loud, apologizing to the frightened artist for the trouble and paying for his service.
He was a new hire, a nervous wreck of face piercings, from somewhere. The tattooing business was still the underground kind and getting hold of an artist often came through word of mouth, shunned for the craft as much as the one whose skin had been inked. It always ran deeper for Benkei. He was ten when he first had his on the cusp of his shoulder until they proudly bloomed all over his chest, surviving his adolescence.
Even behind the saran wrap, the detailed blackwork on the tattoo was impressive, curving around your right calf like a painting. Still . . .
"It's fine. You're looking at me like I'm kinda lame now."
"You're not." Then he gestured his hand at the fallen dragon. You told him before that he articulated his emotions more with his body. Everything around him became askew for it. Passersby twist around a different route from his direction. "Just—it just looks off, you know? Dragons should be flying up and all."
You scoffed. "So you're upset about some bit of symbolism? Yeah, Inoe-san got it wrong but you didn’t have to be an asshole because—"
"I'm upset that you regret this and you can't take it back anymore," he admitted, head hanging low. "And I brought you there . . ."
"I don't want to take it back,” you said, unrepentant of how adults would appraise you for once: a kid with a tattoo, a kid heading nowhere good in life.
There's a war in your eyes. He’s more ashamed of himself for doubting you than letting you down.
Benkei was damn sure there wasn’t an inflatable he hadn’t stepped on or an umbrella he left untipped.
They were scattered everywhere but the beach stretched wide enough for a stroll to not feel so cramped. He’s just avoiding the sunbathers and families who were spread all over the area, waiting to watch the fireworks display tonight.
Because of that, he joined in with you and Takeomi, retreating somewhere in the parking lot.
Benkei didn’t often see you two alone, much less without Shinichiro defusing an argument, though he found a rare solidarity between you smoking together. You were nodding. Takeomi's arms were crossed after sharing a few words with you, stopping short when Benkei stepped in after coming back from the restroom.
He asked if he disrupted something and Takeomi answered that he wasn't, stomping his cigarette with his shoe. You followed after him when your eyes narrowed at the strangers emerging before you in serpent-emblemed uniforms, some gang from Kansai judging from the accents. Jormungandr.
You seemed more annoyed than anxious about getting jumped. Takeomi didn't mind an introduction through a bloodbath because it’d been a long while since anyone challenged Black Dragons and Benkei had already charged forward for the brawl.
It ended with you.
Jormungandr’s leader met his defeat with a kick so high the last thing he saw was the dragon soaring up.
Your sandal flew off, landing on the heap of mangled bodies that had been dealt by Benkei. His knuckles still smarted for being outnumbered. Takeomi was just as scuffed-up. With his hair down and disheveled, it made his face more severe after pressing a warning on the leader’s hand with his newly lit cigarette.
Don't mess with us again, trash. The extra measure was for insurance, but there's a cruel streak to his apathy for letting skin burn. Benkei had seen him done worse. You didn't speak against it after overhearing a threat on Shinichiro's life.
Sensing another presence lurking near you, you swung your leg up and Wakasa reacted fast enough to sidestep away, a hairbreadth close.
Sadly, your foot missed his face.
He whistled. “Nice reflexes.”
“Shit, I could’ve gotten you! Stop coming up behind me like that!”
“No.”
“You three were taking so long. Figured we should check up on ya,” said Shinichiro, strolling towards them amidst the battle; fallen adversaries on his feet. He acknowledged Benkei and Takeomi with a nod, and then picked up your sandal when he approached you. “We should've come sooner, though.”
“You would’ve missed out the action anyway.” The insult wasn't without a light, teasing note, and Shinichiro didn't take it personally, letting you snatch the sandal from him. “We handled it pretty well by ourselves, don't you think?”
“Brutally,” he sighed, unable to hide that disarming grin slowly peeling up his mouth. “You look like hell. Let's get you all patched up—”
A sudden, fluttering burst of light from the distance.
Shocked, all of you looked up at the sky.
“The fireworks . . .”
“Oh wow, it's starting now.”
“It’s still going on. Let’s make a run for it!”
It hadn't been long since Benkei told you about Ragnarok and you taught him what nostalgia actually meant.
Natsukashii. The end of summer, he believed, sweltering with memories under his childhood sun in Oizumi, until you scrawled the characters on the back of a gym flier and kindly corrected him, oh, it's natsuku, not natsu. As in to become, you know, attached.
懐かしい
Your ballpoint pen lingered on the heart radical, lacking the character of a season.
Benkei wasn't chagrined about it; he's enlightened.
The end of summer, you repeated, finding it more fitting, and pondered on how summers had to die like sunsets as you scraped the horizon with fingers in the color of twilight.
Then he asked how much you were well-versed in Norse mythology.
You shrugged. "I'm more familiar with apocalypses. Why'd you name your gang after something like that?"
“It’s inspiring,” said Benkei, omitting the part that he wasn't a founding member and the true meaning of its relevance might've been lost to him when Ragnarok sounded more like a gang that was meant to bring destruction to the gods from an older generation. “The kind that could define our era.”
“You guys are so obsessed with that,” you pointed out, but not to mock him. It’s just a measured observation. “Shin never shuts up about it. Takeomi goads him on because it's getting in his head too. Even Waka wants to be a part of it and you . . .”
“You don't want it too?”
“I just don't get it,” you blurted. “What's an era all about anyway?”
“You could say it’s how we want to be remembered,” he said it with his chest. It's how we want to show people how we fought and lived.
Benkei didn’t understand why you wanted to be invisible. Or keep up with all these social pretences to be accepted.
When he asked you why you wore fake glasses, you didn't give him a reason. You just shot back why he had his eyebrows shaved instead. He found the exchange amusing, concluding that nobody probably had the balls to ask both of you about it.
He couldn't help but smirk how you got a bit defensive from his observation as if you had never stood out around them.
You're the only person he’s ever known to be conflicted over the dichotomy of your life. He’d seen you enjoy listening to the rap mixtapes of his bootleg CDs, stress over college applications more than fights, denounce delinquency and yet.
It took him a long while to figure out why you looked so out of place in the gang but it still felt as if you belonged there. The otherness spoke to him, really. Guys like him just couldn't seem to find their place in anything after falling through the cracks and it hadn't always been as grandiose as it was until Shinichiro granted them a reason.
Not a lot of them gave a crap about being honorable but they sure did when it felt good to be a part of something greater than themselves.
It's the stuff of legends, our era.
Takeomi said it with pride and Benkei couldn't have worded it better himself. He glanced back at you, no longer giving in to chase when you let them go on without you, a fond, distant smile on your lips.
Wakasa sprinted ahead of them. Shinichiro still had a slight limp from getting it broken months ago so he fell behind until Takeomi turned to him and offered him his back, waving at him to get on and make it quick.
Despite them joining forces, Takeomi wasn't all that strong or fast for both of them and no one could ever beat Wakasa in a footrace, but they ran, howling out wild laughter as if they won anyway.
Benkei slowed down to your pace, walking with you. “So attached, eh?”
You blinked at him before letting out a chuckle. “Well, yeah.” You stretched out your tattooed leg a bit. “I took it quite literally too . . .”
He was distracted by the startlingly tender expression on your face, your lashes lowered, longer, until he snapped out of it and nodded.
“Benkei.”
“What?”
“Would you hate me if I told you that I'll quit the gang?”
“No—” The word slipped, and there was something about the urgency that felt like a tug, a step forward. Calmer, this time, “no, not at all.”
You registered his answer for a minute, too quiet next to him. He realized he should back away a bit, collecting himself to offer the reassurance you probably needed to hear more than he did.
“Hey. Whatever decision you're going with, just know we're all rootin' for ya.” He gave your shoulder a pat and felt himself unwind a breath the moment you untensed from his hand. “You probably have your reasons. Good, I hope?”
It took so much from him to not demand why but you're smiling at him again. Maybe a little sad, a little scared, but it's still your smile, something regained. He’d hate for it to go away.
“Yeah, thanks. That means a lot to me,” and then hesitant, you opened up more, “think Shin will hate me?”
“Idiot, he won't,” Benkei replied. “His heart's too big for him and he cries like a baby for it. You think that's the kind of guy that'll hate anyone?”
“No.”
“There you go.”
“But it's just that I haven't told him yet. I haven't told anyone, just you,” you confessed, wistfully glancing down at your tattoo.
“You know, I was actually terrified when we went to the tattoo parlor. Like what if something goes wrong? There's always something. I couldn't go by myself. Yeah, the tattoo didn't turn out perfect but I like it. I'm glad you were with me when I had it. Then Shin made this stupid tantrum over why I didn't bring him along, but he got over it when he was all giddy and excited over the tattoo. Cheered me up a lot when stuff at home was . . . ” a short breath sucked through your teeth. “Seeing him like that matters so much. I want him to always be like that . . .”
A breeze whistled between your footsteps, ambling in a slow, thoughtless pace that had him thinking both of you had all the time in the world, even if the road ahead was just another meandering path to a farewell.
“You'd stay in Black Dragons for a long time, right?”
“Yeah, it's my everything now.” Benkei stared at the dragon on your skin, and then back at you. “And even if you leave, you're still a part of it.”
You huffed at that and looked onward longingly. "Jeez, you sound like him."
“He isn't wrong about that,” he said, following after your gaze where everyone was, waiting and waving and yelling at the two of you to hurry up; behind them, the fireworks sprung like a flurry of stars in the midsummer night.
It's a moment he felt in his chest too.
Guess we're all just attached.
Unfortunately, the fireworks ended too soon.
All of your stuff was left untouched while the people were already packing up and departing from the beach.
They ignored your wounds. More plasters were bought from a cornershop nearby when your first-aid kit wouldn't suffice. Some schmucks brought bats and brass knuckles though there wasn't any serious damage on your end, even less serious on boasting each of your body counts. Whoever ratted out your location was still an unresolved issue, but your vacation wasn't totally ruined.
Shinichiro was into the idea of heading to Choshi after learning it's Wakasa's hometown. There were grunts of protest though his whim was met with little to no resistance after the downturn of events and something about the spontaneity was exciting.
Whatever heart to heart they had, Benkei couldn't fault Wakasa for giving in to Shin’s persuasion as much as he did when he agreed to merge their gangs a lifetime ago. Embark on something new together in a last minute excursion, not knowing what to discover in your destination.
Your motorcycles were left in the parking lot to stay overnight. There were few passengers on board and three of you were already snoozing away after switching to a new train at Naruto Station. The landscape shifted behind the window; a nocturnal outline of bedtowns and cabbage fields. Wakasa's face was neutral all throughout.
Benkei broke the silence.
“I didn't know you grew up here.”
“Once,” Wakasa shrugged, looking less like a mystery. “Didn’t feel like something I should bring up anyway.”
Wakasa regarded Chiba like it's foreign land and there's no place for him here. Benkei couldn't imagine him coming home to parents – anyone.
With their paths colliding the way they did, he had always assumed they were orphaned in Tokyo, meant to split it together or conquer more for themselves. It didn't matter which with all the devastation they had caused, leaving a red trail of history in their wake, and sometimes that's enough proof of their existence than a birth certificate.
Wakasa never asked Benkei about his past. There's more of it branded in their mutual blows and bruises. Benkei knew the brunt of his kicks, his temper. His tendency to be a loyal asshole. How he had the worst sweet tooth ever because, of course, all of you came on this long journey just for him to lead you in a dango shop. The room inside was shabby but cozy in a lived-in sort of way; the menu unvaried.
The old lady who owned the place gladly obliged, fanning fresh skewers on the grill, after Wakasa approached her with your orders.
Look at you, being a good grandson, Shinichiro joked about their overfamiliar interaction, and Wakasa quipped back that yeah, he's sure to rebel and get an earful like him with his elders.
Curious, you asked Wakasa if he'd been here before. He was chewing his dango thoughtfully when he offered each of you a stick, glazed in sweet soy sauce, and told you he hadn't with no sense of nostalgia. Just craving for some.
Inubosaki had coarser sand, a harsh, rocky coastline. A white lighthouse stood atop the cliffside, reminiscent of a twelve-pointed beacon that once ruled East Kanto.
The inspiration didn’t go unnoticed. The old monument had been relegated into a tourist attraction but it still glowed in the dark.
It’d been the one thing that seemed awake after passing a row of shops on your way here; most closed for the night, others for good. There were places in town that looked rundown, abandoned, similar to the ones in Tokyo. Black spots of a failing economy.
Takeomi was the most informed about how the country was in deep shit under debt deflation. He asked Wakasa for spare change and the Sanrio-themed gachapon machine almost ate his 150 yen coins until he cranked it up again, coughing up a keychain souvenir. Benkei guessed it's for his sister. It's your second time napping, sitting next to him in the waiting shed with your head on his arm.
Shinichiro didn't wake you after catching sight of the bruise on your jaw, exposed by the dull lamplight, as if realizing how he could have missed that, among other things.
Benkei sighed. There's a heaviness hunkering down his shoulders. A part of him wondered if he told Shin now, could he convince you to change your mind?
“You uncomfortable there?” asked Shinichiro.
“Nah, I’m good.” Benkei replied, as your warmth curled on his side. Sleep made you clingy.
He wasn't the only one terrible at subtlety. Shinichiro perched on the space next to you when he couldn't steal you for himself this time. He’s got it all wrong, though.
Benkei didn't like sitting on what they would still lose.
The train station wouldn't be open until a few more hours.
Shinichiro’s cheap hair gel failed his pompadour, flattening his hair over his ears, as he leaned on his fist, dazed, with something unspeakably raw to him.
Deep down, he must know there's a future in his dream but humble as always, he’d deny this and nod off to you for having the superpower to carry and crush it. He had unshakeable faith in the way you wielded the future. It wouldn't change how he still saw you everyday. It's probably what gave you that ability in the first place.
Benkei had this urge to wake you and tell you that you’d be okay, but suppressed it once Shinichiro spoke up, a note somber.
“I don't want to go back yet.”
“Why?”
“This is a nice change of scenery,” which was bullshit because his boredom was painfully obvious.
“Sure, the ocean again.”
“Okay, okay, I didn't think things out before wandering here,” he admitted, huffing an amused exhale under his breath. "But maybe I just wanted to escape and drag you all with me somewhere faraway.”
“You runnin' away from something?”
“Not really,” he murmured, stalling for another minute to brood over it. “We’ll get busier soon. It sucks. Does that count?”
“Things’ll just go back to normal,” Benkei said without withholding his sympathy. “The beach was fun, though.”
Shinichiro agreed, meandering on bringing his siblings along someday because he rarely spent his summer without them. He got away a lot more with you guys, gulping down cheap beer wherever, getting all this sand in his underwear. There was still other stuff you hadn't tried yet, if only you had more time.
“There's just this sinking feeling like something’s gonna catch up to me, don't know what it is, when, but—” his gaze landed at you, him, a flit of a smile on his lips, before staring at those endless waves, as if all of you had finally reached the end of the world.
The sunrise bled through the horizon, and Shinichiro watched listlessly. "Whatever happens, I want to be here for awhile."
In the early hours of the morning, his bike swept past 80 km/h on the road; not a lot of cars and cyclists, busybodies.
The motions didn't stop until everyone had to pull over at a gas station nearby a remote industrial area in Ichihara. Factories still gave off strange smells no one could recognize, but Benkei had already revved up his engine to flee. It didn't matter anymore in another city.
The world woke up a bit after a mile while all of you were dragging yourselves through the travel tolls of yesterday. One moment it's a blame game, and then it snapped into a "screw this" and "this is stupid" next to a punched vending machine because you were incapable of deciding where to eat in a testy mood.
A common trait, despite having uniquely different, unbearable personalities. Aside from the energy drinks, Benkei's gut felt queasy from the mean, collective silence until you reached the last stretch of Tokyo Bay Aqua-Line. It's a miracle how everyone could stand each other, sometimes.
But you're still driving together to the path, the multiple crossings crowded by people from all walks of life, striving to make theirs a little fuller. The urban streets blurred after each turn. Somehow riding back to Tokyo almost didn't feel real. The day wasn't over yet but it felt as if he's missing something before it's gone.
Benkei didn't know how to explain it, eyes on you marveling at a wall graffiti of profanities from an unfinished construction site. Shinichiro was repeating what he was saying but it's left unheard, lost to the shrill of the track signal. The sun hung high and hot while all of you waited for the train behind the railway gate.
There's a faster route to Shibuya, but none of you took the expressway. The road back home was long and unwinding.
a/n: title is inspired from the same namesake, referring to a whole generation of japanese youth who were gravely affected by japan's lost decade in the 1990s to early 2000s. first gen bd is in that group but ironically, they were at the top of the delinquent world at the time until their eventual disbandment.

This I Promise You
“NSYNC - This I Promise You”
Sano Shinichiro x reader
content : teeth rotting fluff, gender neutral reader
notes : I randomly thought of this while making a shinichiro playlist on spotify.
The sun had finally set on the long day you had, the streets of Tokyo lighting up gradually.
you sat on a stool behind the counter of the empty bike shop, watching Shinichiro as he tinkered with his precious CB250T. you swore sometimes he loved that thing more than you, but it was worth it if you got to see this sight everyday.
his shoulders leaned forward slightly, as he bobbed his head and hummed to whatever song was blaring over the radio. his white shirt slightly greasy and his veins showing slightly on his arms.
“Take a picture, I think it’ll last longer”
you could hear the smirk in his voice, even if he didn’t turn around to look at you. he turned quickly when he heard the snap of your camera though.
“that wasn’t meant to be taken seriously, you know.” He smiled, wiping his hands off on a nearby towel.
“I wasn’t going to miss the opportunity when you offered.” you smiled back, leaning into him as he attached his lips onto yours.
a familiar tune started to play in his ears as he pulled you off the stool, careful not to hurt you. He placed one of your hands in his, and the other on his neck. dancing as he sung the lyrics in a very soft voice, huge smiles on both your faces.
“I’ve loved you forever, in lifetimes before”
He spins you around, placing your back against his and swaying as you continued the lyrics.
“and I promise you never will you hurt anymore”
he placed you back in a normal waltz position and moved around the whole store, singing without a care in the world.
“I give you my word, I give you my heart.” He dipped you and laughed loudly before continuing. “This is a battle we’ve won, and with this vow forever has now begun.”
“This I promise you” You smiled and kissed his nose.
“This I promise you” He placed his lips on yours, and giggles flooded the store.
“EW GROSS! If you’re gonna make out at least do it somewhere else! Now where’s the dorayaki you promised shin..” Mikey whined as he busted into the bike shop.
Shinichiro smiled and pat his brothers head, before leading you both into the back.

im literally gonna start crying.. this is ridiculous-
I hate brainrot so fucking much hhhh
I’m on the verge of tears I hope this isn’t CRINGEY
GENERAL AND RELATIONSHIP HCS FOR SHIN \\\٩(๑`^´๑)۶////
definitely makes dad jokes. the first thing that popped in my mind.
he’s been rejected like 20 times.. so when he catches feelings for you he desperately tries to not make it 21 😭
y’know i think he’s a relatively good kisser. not in the “oh my god my fucking knees are going to COLLAPSE-“ no. but in the “my heart is melting from how sweet this feels” kinda way. those kisses that really warm your heart.
he most likely has a variety of petnames and terms of endearment that he calls you, but it’s mainly baby or sweetheart (at least that’s what I’m thinking, I’m struggling not to cringe 🤷🏽♀️)
cuddling with this man… it’s just sickeningly sweet. like he holds you so close to him that you can feel the warmth radiating off of his body.
i strongly believe he either sings or hums you to sleep
another avid forehead kisser
his lips are really soft
his hands are … rough-ish my hands are the same way but they’re not ROUGH rough y’know? In the middle between soft and rough
he shows his love through acts of service andddd touch
he can cook. yeah. malewife
maybe if he gets home earlier than you he’d cook dinner so it saves you stress and time.
but his menu is very limited so uh.. not a whole restaurant
that being said, I think he reads cookbooks just to try and make new things for you both to try
trust me, he loves feeding you pastries and stuff. he squished your cheeks together after because you look so cute like that
another person to go on late night rides with
he wouldn’t really stop anywhere, but he’d drive you around Tokyo, maybe the city area where you can see the bright lights and aesthetic scenery you’d see in the anime or whatever 🙄
Japan is pretty though, gotta love the scenery there. Also the convenience stores oh my goodness - but I won’t go off topic
he’d make sure you’re wearing a helmet just so you can look around.. he cares for your safety
when you guys hold hands, he like.. intertwines your hand with his and it’s like qlmekenekwje he does the little thumb rubby thing
he probably kisses your hand like a cute prince too, and you’d be the princess/prince
y’know what, maybe he calls you princess or prince too and he most definitely treats you like one
overall, 20/10 boyfriend to have imo, I just have brainrot.. uhm L + ratio + bozo to the girls that rejected him.. and yeah.
oh, and he doesn’t like mustard.
#anime#tokyo revengers#tokyorev x reader#tokyo rev fluff#tokyorev headcanons#shinichiro sano#shinichiro x you#shinichiro x reader#tokyo revengers shinichiro#fuck uh.. hold on lemme add prince so i can make this gender neutral aight#okay we good sorry y’all#tbh I don’t think it’s gn if it’s strictly male and female uhhhh I’m really sorry

How would the Tokyo revengers characters react to you studying pt2.
Pt1.
g/n reader
Shinchiro
He would know that you have an important test coming up so he will not bother you.
And when I mean he will not bother you, he won’t see you, not even try to call you or text you.
That went on for three days.
You started to get worry and thought that maybe you did something wrong.
And that ideas didn’t let you keep focus, so you called him.
“Sorry, I thought you needed space”
“Yeah, but I still need you”
“If you want you can come to the shop and study here, I promise all keep it quiet”.
When you arrived he just gives you a big hug and a lot of kisses.
You flustered and were so cute.
Oh how he missed you.
He decided to not work anymore and just sits with you at his couch.
So he is available every time that you are overwhelmed to give you some more kisses.
Mikey
You probably need to have food around to keep him quiet.
And as you know every time he eats he gets sleepy, so no big deal.
The problem is when you ran out of food.
“Y/n can we please go out and buy some more?”
“Mickey, you can go on your own, I still need to study”
He probably gave you his puppy eyes until you decided to go with him.
He feels bad, so he offers to carry your bag with your textbooks and everything.
You sit at a booth and he orders for you, so as he said “you can keep your focus in your study”.
As he has everything he needs (you and food) doesn’t trouble you so much.
Every now and then he pouts and you have to give him a kiss, but that’s it.
Hanma
He saw you have been studying for this test for like two weeks.
At first he gave you space, silence and everything you needed.
But he really misses you, even though he won’t tell you that.
So he just grunts and makes noises to caught your attention.
As you don’t pay him attention he goes to your desk and starts grabbing random books that you are using to study.
“Do you know that I read in somewhere that before a test it makes you good to relax and do something different to study?”
“You can read?”
He looked you dead in the eyes. He was so offended by it.
You just laughed it off.
“Sorry, what was your idea?”
He didn’t want to tell you anymore. So you had to convinced him by giving him soft kisses in his cheek and in his neck.
Obviously he surrendered to you.
“Maybe we can go to the fair”
You realized that he was right and that you needed time off, so you went.
It was an amazing time and really helped you.
Kokonoi
“Do you know that you don’t have to study, right? I can buy you anything you want”
You laughed.
“I know, but I have to pass this if I want to make it to college”
He just doesn’t understand how you prefer to do that instead to cuddle with him.
You were having troubles to understand something related to finances.
He noticed you growing anxious and proceed towards you.
“I know this”
Due to his large knowledge to manage money and investments and similar stuff.
“Do you? Can you explain it to me, please?”
He was happy to be of help.
To your surprise he was very patient only because it was you.
Since then he always asks you if you need any help.
Sometimes you don’t, but you say yes to him anyways, because you love studying with him.
He also loves it.

JEALOUSY
what makes them jealous and how they handle it
𖦹 various tokyo rev x gn! reader
𖦹 warning/s : jealousy, cursing/use of profanity, cheating accusations, suggestive themes on some parts
𖦹 repost cause tumblr shadowbanned me 💀
𖦹 Draken, Yuzuha, Hina, Akkun, Mitsuya, Senju, Akane, Shinichiro, Naoto, Takuya
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
usually they're not the jealous type. letting you get touchy with your friends or their friends because they enjoy seeing you get along with people. but what makes them jealous is when a random person goes up to you and starts to flirt but you take it as a friendly geature completely oblivious to their raging jealousy.
HOW THEY HANDLE IT :
they excuse you from the person saying that you two have somewhere to go to while wrapping an arm around your waist and pushing your body against their own to make it clear that you're taken.
𖦹 Mikey, Emma, Sanzu, Yamagishi, Makoto
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
now these people. they easily get jealous. they see you getting touchy and flirty with someone? they're jealous. they see you smiling at your phone when you two are together? they're jealous.
HOW THEY HANDLE IT :
they become childish, throwing short tantrums here and there, ignoring you a lot and constantly asking for your attention. they get all whiney and would demand for you to cuddle with them once you two are alone
𖦹 Sanzu (again), Hanma, Baji, Kokonoi, Smiley, Kazutora, Taiju, Kisaki
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
another one that gets jealous easily. they're possessive over you so when they see someone getting a bit too comfy and flirty with you they'll get very jealous. even going as far as getting jealous when the see you whispering with someone else
HOW THEY DEAL WITH IT :
kisses you in front of that 'someone'. make-out even. then would ask "do you love me?" and of course you'll say yes and once you do they'll glance at the person with a smirk that says 'they love me. not you. back off'
𖦹 Angry, Rindou, Seishu, Takeomi, Wakasa, Mucho, Choji, Takemichi, Kakucho
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
rarely gets jealous. however when you ignore them to talk to someone else they'll get extremely jealous.
HOW THEY DEAL WITH IT :
they'll wait until you're done talking to the person before confronting you about it as calmly as they could. also the tsundere type. would say "you were ignoring me a lot ya' know?" and try to hint that they got jealous without saying it
𖦹 Izana, Kazutora (again), Kisaki (again),
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
they don't get jealous much, letting you do your own thing and letting you get a bit flirty with anyone. but they'll get jealous when the person you're getting flirty with is someone they're insecure about
HOW THEY DEAL WITH IT :
they'll pull you away from the person and bring you somewhere secluded. "you seem to be having fun there huh? why not break up with me and go with them instead yeah?". disguises their jealousy as anger. might even accuse you of cheating
𖦹 Hakkai
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
gets jealous a lot. but not the possessive type. they're leaning more on the insecure type. would get jealous when they see you smiling and laughing at another person. would also get jealous when you support someone else a bit too much for their own liking. and would think to themselves 'do they ever support me like that?' or 'do I make them that happy too?'
HOW THEY HANDLE IT :
would grow a bit distant. their kisses become shorter and whenever they hug you they'll pull away as soon as possible. when you ask them about their strange behavior they'd have no choice but to admit that they indeed are jealous
𖦹 Hanma (again), Ran, Sanzu (again), Mikey (again), Smiley (again), Shion, Peh-yan
WHAT MAKES THEM JEALOUS :
usually they would be the one making you jealous but whenever they are the one who's jealous it would be because a someone is a bit too close to you for their own liking or someone is saying a sexual joke to you
HOW THEY DEAL WITH IT :
they would mask up their jealousy by teasing you but you could see the irk mark on their cheek. "hm? seems that they wanna have a taste of you huh? would you give that to them though?" he has a mocking pout on his lips but soon smirks when you say no "yeah? 'm the only one who could see ya' naked eh?"

Hi there!
Can I request TR guy (chifuyu, mikey, shinichiro or whoever you see fit) x reader?
They get ask out by the reader who they do not know that well, but they decide to give it a shot and end genuinly liking them and enjoying the date.
Thank you for considering my request :)
hello! please enjoy, anon
Chifuyu, Shinichiro x gn!reader
✧getting asked out by a reader they don't know
✧fluff
-Chifuyu's a nice guy, he'll agree just because he would rather not hurt your feelings! He tells himself that it'll be a one time date and that would be that.
-That was until you mentioned how you had enjoyed Ai Yazawa's manga's. It was through manga that you both clicked and ended up heading the the bookstore after the date.
-He really thought he had started liking you just as a friend! You both had started hanging out more and more and it really didn't hit him that he had started to gain feelings for you.
-He was a bit dense about it until you had mentioned if he wanted to be your boyfriend. He genuinely froze, before his brain just accepted your confession. It wasn't something he realized until that exact moment and he's glad it still worked out in the end.
-Shinichiro has been rejected countless times and when you confess to him, he's honestly a bit shocked. He has to make sure you're actually talking to him and not someone else.
-Although he doesn't know you, he's willing to give it a shot. After all this time, someone has finally shown an interest (romantically) in him so he's okay with accepting and going out on a date or two with you, just to see how it'll go.
-He didn't realize how easy it'd be for him to fall for you though. On the second or third date, he started noticing your habits and how your face looks whenever you laugh or smile. It just hit him one night that he had fallen for you and he couldn't sleep the rest of the night.
-It was honestly a bit surprising to you when you had arrived to your date with him in the morning and he asked you to be his partner. You obviously had agreed which almost surprised him as if you both hadn't been going on dates already.
please do not repost any of my work without my permission, thank you for reading.

MORNINGS WITH TOKYO REVENGERS MEN
warning: unedited, cigarette mentioned in shinichiro's
amihan's note: not accepting requests! my bad i forgot to change the note 😭 happy reading!
mentioned charas: [bonten] haitani ran, akashi takeomi, sano shinichiro, rindou haitani
mornings with haitani ran would include waking up in bed just to see him already wide awake, eyes staring up at the ceiling while he mindlessly draw circles on your back or any skin that's near his fingertips. you can tell that he's deep in thought as he didn't make a fuss while you shift to snuggle closer to him. if he's snapped out of his thoughts, he would move on impulse and leave a kiss on your forehead or head.
mornings with ran would also include seeing him sipping a cup of coffee in your kitchen. he will either be sitting on one of the chairs or leaning on the counter while scrolling through his phone. although, he would be seen with a book in hand most of the time.
mornings with akashi takeomi would be witnessing him leaning back on his chair while his eyes remains focused on the newspaper he have in hand. brows furrowed in concentration, his reading glasses hanging low on the bridge his nose, it's a sight to behold in all honesty.
takeomi, being bonten's advisor, would mean he's usually up at night and asleep in the morning. it's hard handling seven grown men and the business they have. thus, in contrast with ran, you would be greeted with closed lids instead of his mesmerizing purple irises. expect lazy mornings with him because his hand that's draped around you wouldn't budge.
mornings with sano shinichiro would be full of smile and giggles partnered with hushed exchange of words. one moment he's blabbering about parts of a motorcycle, the next moment his hands will be on their way to your sides as a consequence on calling him a nerd.
now, being an owner of a shop would of course keep him busy in the mornings too. you'll wake up on seeing shinichiro leaning back on the headboard of your shared bed, notebook laying on top of his thighs with a pen in hand while his other one is busy on tapping the excess ashes of his cigarette on the ashtray beside him, eyes squinting at the paper once in a while, a result of his stubbornness on not wearing his reading glasses.
mornings with haitani rindou would be relaxing. your mind and body will be in peace. you would wake up to his soft hums while he snuggle closer to your chest. yes, you have to get used to waking up with him basically laying on top of you. on top of that, his fingertips will be wandering over your features, tracing and memorizing every crevices of your face.
it's no surprise that rindou picked up a hobby as his actions are heavily influenced by his older brother. mornings with him would also be rindou preparing breakfast for you, it's not the best but it's edible and not burnt. though, he wouldn't bring it in bed because he doesn't like and despises breakfast in bed, it's too messy in his opinion.

bathsheba at her bath
“i took too many hits off this memory.”
shinichiro. hanma. chifuyu. mikey.
content warning(s): explicit content, shinichiro is alive au, dacryphilia, possessive sex
—Shinichiro is someone who feels so much more greater than you are: a figure out of rumor and legend and materializing in front of you. But his touches are so human, especially when you hear him grunt under his breath and grip at your bare waist, his hips snapping upwards into yours. And he fucks you like nobody else either: the perfect mix of animalistic fucking and proper lovemaking. Only he could sprawl you across his workshop desk and stuff his thick cock into you and make it feel like he was laying you out against silk sheets. It doesn’t matter, does it? All that matters to you at this point is the heat that’s clawing at your insides and his dick brutally plowing your raw sex.
“Shinichiro- Too hard, you’re going too hard…!” You choke out. His grip on you is bound to leave bruises, and his mouth haphazardly ravishes your neck, biting and sucking and drinking up all the mewls and breathless gasps you let out. You’re so damn pretty to him, and all he wants to do is fuck you over and over until you’re shaking and begging him in that cute voice of yours to keep going, Shinichiro, you feel so good- don’t stop, don’t stop, don’t stop!
He laughs against your skin, and your walls clench up around him at the throaty sound. As if to torture you even further, Shinichiro rapidly slows down his rhythm, and he slides his dick painfully slowly in and out of you, as if to make you truly feel your entrance pulsing around his length. It feels like every inch of him is raking and scraping and rubbing your walls in a tantalizing manner, and you grab onto his wrist and throw your head back in a loud whimper.
“You’re being so good for me, babydoll,” Shinichiro purrs, drinking up the feeling of you squeezing his cock desperately. He could fuck you like this for hours, selfishly indulging in your moans and your expressions, a treasure meant for him and him only. “Keep up with me for a bit longer, ‘kay?”
—You could be a saint or the lowest of the low, and Hanma couldn’t care less. All that matters to him is that he has you pinned up against the wall, practically shrieking for mercy, splitting you into two as he fucks your tight insides however he pleases. He only kisses you to bite at your lip and to shut your cries up, muttering at you that you’re being so damn loud, as if the sadistic streak in him doesn’t find satisfaction in the way you claw frantically at his back and the way your hot tears stream down your face in fleeting marks that he carves over and over on your skin. His cum stains your shaking legs as he hoists your thighs apart a little more, making sure every part of his merciless cock goes inside of you.
“Are you going to cry like this every time I fuck you?” He spits, and you hate the way your core curls in hot arousal when you catch the cold look he gives you from over the rim of his glasses. “Don’t answer that. You’ll probably say some sappy shit that makes my stomach turn, and then I’ll have to fuck your throat until you learn to give me the answer I actually want.”
You bite back a sob, and Hanma clicks his tongue when he feels you tighten up against him. Having sex with him hurts so bad—he’s too big and too rough and too much for you—but no one else can make you cum your brains out like he does. He leans in close to you, his tongue sliding up the side of your neck in a possessive movement, immediately sending cold shivers down your spine.
“You liked that, didn’t you? I wouldn’t expect anything less from someone like you,” Hanma drawls slowly. Every bit of this man is icy, unbelievably cold, and the contrast with him and the fire coursing through your body makes your head spin. You tremble against the wall as Hanma continues to ram his hips against yours, the shameless sounds of him fucking into you only making your sobs so much more pathetic.
—Sleeping with Chifuyu is nothing short of bliss itself. He always takes the time to kiss you softly, his breath fanning out against your face, and he breathlessly kisses you again and again. His clothed crotch grinds against yours as he does so, rubbing his hips against you and trying to grab as much of you as he can. And when he actually does fuck you, he fucks you so well: strong rhythmic thrusts while he sucks on your mouth, his hands eagerly groping at your chest or rubbing at your sensitive thighs. This man lives to please you, reveling in the way your body reacts to his and finding pride in that he’s the one who can make you feel best. He’s greedy in that sense; if anyone else has ever touched you, then he’s determined to be the one that you think the most highly of.
“Fuck… You’re so tight.” He rolls his cock into you a bit further, and you arch your back, the whine that comes from you like music to his ears. “Shit… I could fuck you like this for hours. You do something to me. You know that, don’t you? I can’t seem to get enough of you.”
He squeezes your thigh, and your body twitches against his. He chuckles, his voice dark and sensual, and he sloppily jerks his cock into your slick hole. You move towards him to kiss him, and when he captures your lips in a messy kiss, you moan into his mouth. His tongue swirls around yours, as if trying to claim every inch of your body as his. If he was fucking you with his cock down there, it felt like he was fucking your mouth with his tongue.
“Shit- You’ll make me lose control, babe,” Chifuyu shakily breathes against your lips. Everything feels hot, as if he had just lit you aflame, and you cup his face with your trembling hands, placing your mouth on his again. You trace the outline of his lips with your tongue before letting him slip his tongue in your mouth again. Another cry bubbles in the back of your mouth as Chifuyu continually fucks you on his cock, eagerly taking anything you’re willing to give him.
—There’s a clinginess to the way Mikey moves when fucking you. He pins you down to whatever surface he can by your wrists, his dark hair tickles your jawline when he bites down on your neck to litter your beautiful skin with lovemarks, teasing your entrance with his swollen cock until you beg him to fuck you already because you can’t take it anymore. He’s oddly quiet, his eyes fixed on your face and moving body, as if he’s fixated on the way you feel good from his dick and no one else’s. You’re the one person who he hasn’t destroyed with his hands or run away from him, and that makes his possessive claim over you so much worse. Your gut feels taut with arousal whenever he thrusts into you as if tomorrow doesn’t exist, and the sound of skin-slapping-on-skin only reminds you of how you’re stuck with an insatiable monster that wants to claim every piece of you.
“You’re going so deep…! Fuck- Oh god, oh my fucking god, please—don’t stop!” You cry out, your sensitive sex clenching down like a vice on Mikey’s dick. Your walls burn slightly from the satisfying way Mikey’s cock stretches you out just right, and it feels like he’s going to turn your insides into mush from the way he pounds so threateningly into you, as if he’ll die if he can’t get any more of you.
“Say my name.”
You glance up at him, blinking. “What?”
“You heard me,” Mikey rasps. His eyes flash with a territorial gleam that feels more monster than man—a beast in heat rather than a love before you—and you swallow nervously. You roll your hips slowly in a silent apology, and Mikey watches you with his never-faltering eyes.
“Keep going, Mikey…,” you plead under your breath. “I need you. You’re the only one I need, Mikey. Mikey, please…”
His arms wrap around you, pulling you down further on his cock, and you groan at the sensation of being stuffed to the brim with his length. You’re exactly where he wants you: ensnared in his arms with your brains being fucked out by his dick.
“That’s right. I’m the only one you need. Keep it that way.”

Shinichiro x GN! Reader
Warning: Gender neutral reader, Shinichiro might be OOC, and first time writing him.
Note: I'm so, so, so sorry for doing this super late. I was still behind in the manga so he didn't appear much from where I was. I think I have a little bit of a better understanding of his character now? I was also super busy/unmotivated T_T
Request: Hiii, this is my first request on Tumblr, and in principle everywhere, so it may seem strange. How about Shinichiro from Tokyo revengers? He's so underrated, I just suffer from a lack of content about him. Could write some kind of fluff or everything else. Thanks in advance, I wish you inspiration and a nice day!
Genre: Fluff
Word Count: 496
-------
You were in the living room with Shinichiro and his little brother, hanging out with the two siblings. You also brought some snacks, spreading them out on the table. Everyone grabbed their favorite treats, both boys thanking you for your thoughtfulness.
"So, __(y/n)...uh, anything in particular you wanted to do today?" Shinichiro asks before biting into a red bean pastry.
"Hmmm, I'm not picky. We can do whatever you like." You smile, opening a can of ___(beverage).
"Well, there's this new movie that I wanted to check out if you're interested."
"Just you and I? Or should we invite the others?" You referred to the group of friends you both shared.
"I was thinking maybe just you and I? Or-or we can text the gang and see if they'd like to join. I'm cool with that, too."
"Do you like my brother?" Mikey interrupts with a mouthful of dorayaki.
"Ma-manjiro!" His older brother scolds, red attacking all over his face. He's had this crazy crush on you for a while, but he's never found a way to express it.
"Of course I do. I like him very much." Shinichiro's heart would've leaped through his chest if you meant more than a friend. He was unsure if you saw him the way he saw you.
"Then when are you gonna be his s/o?"
"Hey! Stop asking weir-"
"Whenever he asks me." You interject, grabbing a napkin and gently wiping the bean filling from Mikey's face. "I like your brother very much, but I'm too shy to tell him."
"Why are you shy? My brother loves you." The younger brother blinks owlishly, taking another bite of his red bean dessert.
"Really now? Are you sure he loves me?"
"Yea. A lot. He doesn't stop talking about you when you're not here. It's really annoying, but you make him happy so I guess it's not that bad."
"You do know I'm still here, right?" Shinichiro didn't know whether to thank Mikey or not.
"Mind giving me and your brother a moment?" You chuckled a bit after handing Mikey more snacks.
Once the blonde boy leaves, you turn to Shinichiro with a small grin on your face. "So, you love me, huh?"
The older Sano sibling sighs, raking his fingers through his black locks. No use in denying it now. "More than you'll ever know.
"Seriously? How long have you liked me for?" You could tell he was a little nervous so you inched closer to him to let him know that you were interested in him as well.
"Hmmm, since middle school?"
"Wait, what? Why didn't you say anything earlier?"
"It's not that easy. I was scared, too, you know." He mumbles the last part.
"You were the leader of the Black Dragons who fought other gangs, but saying you liked me frightened you so much that you'd wait nearly 10 years to tell me?"
"What can I say, babe? I'm weak for you."

RYUSEI
Tired. That’s all you felt. So tired. Each day a new weight always seemed to get added to your shoulders. Whether it was homework, or just the thought of school alone, it all made you feel…exhausted.
It quickly became too much. Every day lasted longer and longer. Your work built up more and more. Even talking to your friends seemed like a task. It just seemed like there was no end to any of it, it made you so tired…so stressed.
And Ryusei noticed that.
Ever since you had shown up to school, you noticed he was giving you an odd look. He kept looking at you, confused, as if he was trying to figure something out. Then, confused turned to concern, and concern turned onto questions.
“Y/n?” Ryusei asked, pulling you away from your friends. “Are you okay?”
Nervously, you laughed, barely being able to keep eye contact with Ryusei. “What?” you chocked out. “I’m fine! Just a little tired is all”
Ryusei looked at you skeptically and sighed. Sure, you were tired, but he knew there was a lot more going on than that. He knew very well there was something a lot deeper than “a little tired” going on.
“Y/nnn” he began, gently holding your shoulders. “Don’t lie to me”
“I told you, I’m just tired”
“No”, Ryusei persisted. “There’s something wrong, very wrong. What’s bugging you love?”
Silently, you looked up at him. Your mouth pressed together, and you sighed, as if you were getting ready to say something. A familiar glint appeared in your eyes, one that remined him all too much of tears. His heartbeat picked up and he was ready to whisk you away to safety. But, just as you opened your mouth to say something, someone interrupted you.
“Y/n! What’re you waiting for? We gotta go!” your friends yelled. They were waving you down, telling you it’s time to go to class…to more work. “Coming!”, you answered. And in one movement, you gave Ryusei an apologetic look and left. Ryusei just watched you leave, worried.
Throughout the day Ryusei thought about you non-stop. On the outside, he was his happy, dandy, teasing self. He spent his day with friends, teasing Chifuyu, and sleeping on the roof. He looked fine, happy even. But on the inside, worried plagued him. You looked so sad, so tired. And he hated that. It drove him crazy.
Even worse, he kept trying to talk to you, trying to comfort you—but you avoided him. Every time he’d walk by you or call your name, you’d drop your head and act like he wasn’t there. It was like he was a ghost. And that, worried him more than anything.
Eventually, Ryusei had enough. Mid-way through the school day, right before you went into your last class, Ryusei grabbed your arm and walked you up to his favorite place—the school rooftop.
“Ryusei!” you yelled, attempting to pull away. “Ryusei?! What’re you doing?!”
Ryusei said nothing. He didn’t turn to you, he didn’t look at you, and he didn’t say anything. He just kept walking you up to the roof. No matter how many times you yelled for him and asked him what was going on, he just ignored you and kept going.
It wasn’t until you reached the roof that he did something. He hugged you.
In an instant, he dropped all of his cool-boy bravado. He just stood there and hugged you. He didn’t tease you and he didn’t act like he usually did. He just let it all go and showed his soft, boyfriend-y side that he showed to no one else but you.
Silently, he pulled you closer, and hugged you as tight as he could. He cradled your head and ran his finger through your hair. His head rested on top of yours. His breath blew your hair a bit. It was a real, loving hug. You completely fell into it. You let him wrap his arms around you, cradle you, and hold you as if this was the end of the world. You stood there with your head against his chest, just listening to his heartbeat.
“Y/n...” he began, still running his fingers through your hair. “What’s going on? What’s wrong with you?”
Silent. It was completely silent for a few minutes. You said nothing, you did nothing. But Ryusei could feel you tense up. He could feel you grip onto his shirt a little more.
“I-I already told you. I’m just a little tired.” you shakily uttered. Ryusei, however, didn’t buy it one bit.
“Please don’t lie to me, Y/n” Ryusei replied, tightening his arms around you. “Please, please don’t lie”
Suddenly, you shook. You shook hard, and soon enough, Ryusei heard sobs. Tear were streaming down your face and wetting his shirt. You gripped onto him as hard as you could and just cried. And Ryusei let you.
“I’m so done”, you whimpered. “The work it…never ends! It keeps coming and coming and, and—I can’t do it anymore! I just want a break!” you sobbed. “I want it to end”
Ryusei just sighed and he kept hugging you. He felt terrible that he couldn’t just take all the stress off you and put it on himself. He wished he could take all your worries away so you could be the happiest person on earth. But he couldn’t do any of that, as much as he wished he could. But he could still do one thing.
“I’m here…” Ryusei muttered, stroking your hair. “And I always will be”
Indeed, Ryusei would be. He would always be there by your side, picking you up in the worst of times. Although he wished those bad time never happened, he still stayed by you though it all. And although he didn’t see as much, it was more than enough.
He was enough, and he always would be.
MIKEY
Life has been hard lately. Every day it seemed like just getting out of bed was a task. Going to school is practically a nightmare anymore. The work seems nonstop. It feels like the moment you get something done; 2 other things pop up. You couldn’t keep up; you can still barely keep up. You knew you needed to get up, you knew you needed to do the work, but you just couldn’t. You couldn’t bring yourself to do anything.
It had only been the beginning of the school year, yet you were already so done. You were so tired. It felt like life was moving forward quickly, so quickly you could barely keep up. You wanted, no needed nothing more than for it to slow down. But clearly that wasn’t happening. After all, thing upon thing kept piling up in your list of stuff you need to do. And it was all so exhausting.
For now, all you could do was try. Trying was really the only option you had, but even trying didn’t feel like enough. You didn’t feel like enough. Maybe that was why you showed up at your boyfriend’s house 2’oclock in the morning. Or maybe it was because you didn’t think you could keep going if you couldn’t see his face. Either way, you were knocking on Mikey’s door in the middle of the night on a school night, praying he would answer.
You knew this probably wasn’t a good idea. After all, Mikey is a busy man. Having to deal with Toman, fights, and of course the burden of whatever goes on in his head takes a toll on him. You knew that right now he was either busy or tired, and you felt guilty plaguing him more. But you needed him. You needed him so badly right now. So, here you were pounding on his door at 2’clock in the morning, awaiting an answer.
It didn’t take Mikey longer than a couple minutes to open the door. The poor blonde looked disheveled, confused even. He still wore his Toman uniform, and his hair was up in his usual semi-up hairstyle (at least as much as it could be). Somehow, he still looked like a kid in this state. He gripped onto his towel tightly, and drool ran down his face. Unfortunately, his eyed were anything but that of a kids. They were droopy, blank, and usually dark. The dullness in his eyes was scary. It really spoke lengths as to how tired Mikey was.
“Y/n-chin?”, Mikey mumbled, rubbing his eyes. “What’re you doing here?”
Looking up at him, you felt guilty. The dark circles underneath his eyes were even darker that they were. You instantly regretted disturbing him. But you needed him. It was an uphill battle you weren’t sure would be ending anytime soon.
“Umm…” you began, eyes moving away from his. “I just needed to see you.”
Confused, he glanced at you, before opening the door wider for you to come in. Silently, you slipped in, and took off your shoes. Mikey, on the other hand, ran back into bed. He went back into a half-asleep in what seemed like an instant. Still, his eyes carefully watched you. He was skeptical already, but the way you awkwardly stood by the door unmoving only made him that much more skeptical.
“What’re you waiting for?” Mikey mumbled, lifting gup his blankets. “Get in”
You sighed, before crawling into bed next to the blonde boy. His hair was already sprawled all over the place and he looked exhausted. Yet, he still laid awake. He wrapped his arms around you and pulled you closer. Happily, you buried your head deep into his chest, and just laid there, listening to his heartbeat. It was calm, as was his breathing. In a way, it put you to sleep. But just as you felt you conciseness begin to slip away, Mikey spoke, his voice more serious than normal.
“Y/n…what’s wrong?” he said, running his fingers through your hair. He was looking directly in your eyes, with a more serious look than you’ve seen in a while.
“Huh? What are you talking about? I’m fine” you retaliated, refusing to drag him down more. Unfortunately, Mikey wasn’t buying it for a second. “Uh huh”, he replied, pulling away. “That’s why you look so sad”
“What?”
“There’s clearly something wrong Y/n. I can tell from your eyes” he began, cupping your face. “You can’t lie to me, idiot”
In an instant, you felt everything in your body just…release. All the stress, overwhelm, exhaustion, in all took over. Tears began running down your face. And then, soon enough, you found yourself sobbing into Mikey’s chest while he held you.
“Shhh…it’s okay”, he mumbled into your hair. Silently, he ran his fingers through your hair as he just let you…cry. You didn’t say anything, but Mikey already knew what was wrong. He watched you from afar. He saw how you instantly looked more stressed when the teacher brought up more work. He saw how tired you looked. He watched how you struggled to even look at all homework, let alone do it. He knew what was wrong, and he understood.
He understood all too well.
“I’m so tired, Mikey!”
“I know…I know…” he mumbled, tightening his hug. “Don’t worry, I’m here…i’m here with you”
In that moment, your whole world became a whole lot lighter.
SHINICHIRO
Shinichiro had noticed how tired you looked.
The bags under your eyes spoke more than words could say. Your unusual distance, the dullness in your eyes, your uninterest to do anything; Shinichiro had noticed it all. Hell, he had noticed more than once you been crying. After all, red, puffy eyes didn’t happen for no reason.
Even when you came to visit him at the bike shop, you looked so tired. Even when you looked at him, the light in your eyes seemed to fade away. Everything about you now worried Shinichiro to no end.
He worried about you all the time. He just couldn’t get the thought of your dull face out his head. It plagued him a way, but maybe it was just the worry any boyfriend should experience.
Either way, he worried about you—your safety and your health. Shinichiro had tried many times before to talk to you, to figure out what was wrong, but you always gave the same answer.
“I’m fine.”
He knew damn well that wasn’t true, but he didn’t want to push you. So, Shin let it go. He decided to let you come to talk to him instead of forcing something out. But, one day, when you just suddenly disappeared, he had enough.
It was a school day, in fact, it was one of your last school days. Shin had just handed off the black dragons, and he finally had a plan to work full-time at the bike shop. Shin went to school, texted you, did stuff in class, and then continued through his day like it was nothing. However, not long after 1st period began, Shin noticed immediately that you hadn’t answered any of his texts, and it worried him. But hey, maybe you’re just running late, and you haven’t checked your phone!
Oh, how wrong that was. And Shin knew exactly how wrong it was when you didn’t show up to school…at all. He texted you what seemed like hundreds of times, trying to get a hold of you, but he got nothing. All day, there was just no sign of you.
He had to admit, Shinichiro hadn’t been this panicked in a long time. He wasn’t sure what was going on, or exactly what to do about it, but he was going to get to the bottom of it. After all, you were one of the most important people in his life; he had to make sure you’re okay.
In heartbeat, he rushed to your house. He didn’t care that they were still time left in the day, or that he had a test later, Shin ran to your house. Frantically, he knocked on the door, praying you’d answer. And at first, there was nothing. But after banging on the door again and pleading for you to come out, you finally answered the door.
Exhausted. That’s what you looked and that’s what you were. The bags under your eyes were darker than ever before, and your eyes themselves were as blood shot as could be. You sniffled, looking up at Shin.
“W-what’re you doing here, Shin?” you mumbled, avoiding his gaze. Shin just looked at you, relived. “Y/n?! Oh my god, thank the lord you’re alive!!” Shin yelled, pulling you into his chest. The taller man squeezed you as tight as he could, finally letting the anxiety in his body lessen.
“The hell are you talking about?”, you croaked out, returning the hug. Your voice, however, was raspy and dry. Shin worriedly ran his finger through your hair and asked beyond a lot of questions. But the biggest thing of all wasn’t even a question, but a demand.
“Y/n”, Shinichiro said, pulling away. He gently held your face in his hands, but his face was a serious as could be. “Tell me what’s wrong.”
“Wha-“
“What is wrong?” he sternly said, his stare as serious as ever. Silently you dropped your head, and finally let more tears run. Your body shook and quickly began wiping the tears away. You tried containing yourself, but the more you tried to, the worse it became. Quickly, you began sobbing. And soon enough, you were uncontrollably sobbing.
“Woah, woah, woah” Shin said, immediately pulling you back into his chest. “It’s okay, it’s okay”
“I’m so tired!” you sobbed out, though not very clearly. “I-I can’t do this anymore!”
“What can’t you do anymore?” Shin gently questioned stroking your hair. He was so gentle with you, so caring, yet so pained at the same time. This hurt more that he ever thought it would. It almost felt like his heart was cracking with each sob you let out.
God, all of this was horrible.
“I -can’t so this! I can’t do anything!” you sobbed gripping onto his shirt. “The work never stops it just keeps coming! I-I can’t take it anymore! I’m so fucking tired!”
“I can’t live like this”, you continued “I’m just not…enough”
Shin sighed, before pulling away again. Gently he cupped your face and began wiping the tears away. His eyes looked into yours the whole time. He was serious, dead serious. His tone and voice were serious too. He meant what he said completely, but more than anything, he meant what he would say next.
“You’ll always be enough for me, Y/n”
