omaigaddd just the way i want it. i was so angry and sad that seunghyo didn’t ate it the first time seokryu made it. it is always in the back of my mind. it was so regretful and i know that seunghyo felt the same too. he was confused at the time, he couldn’t control his feelings and emotion. so he pushed her away! i will always hate him for this. the food, it was the first korean food he ate and it was seokryu who made it happened *cries under the blanket*. and it was the first food she made after signing up for the cooking class, she wanted him to have it because of the memories but he didn't because he was being a total bitch. i was soooooo disappointed for that.

to get that as a proposal from seokryu is finally what i need from this show. yes seunghyo is good with his heartfelt confession and she is awkward with heartfelt confession and her reply to his was always short of something. i knew that seokryu love language is act of service but it always felt "not right" for the lack of better word. but to have seen it when we needed it the most! i was super glad.

it doesn’t have to be a grand declaration like what seunghyo always did but we as a viewer wanted the balance in their relationship. she has always been the one supporting him all these while but it was under her conscious mind that she had always loved him too. while seunghyo realised that early, she had belated realisation of her feelings for him. but even after they confess their love to each other, seokryu was more reserved in her love declaration while seunghyo is always open with his feelings.

finally, to have her return the gesture with her own love language is just the perfect balance that i have always waited for their relationship. in her own language, with her reference for food. as what she confessed to him the first time in that pretty sunflower field. seokryu has never been a poet and i don't expect her to be one. just wanted to see and know that seunghyo is loved by her too.

and the sanjeok/rainbow skewers is the perfect proposal and love declaration for him. it represent their relationship as a whole.
