Killing Stalking: Getting Anal With The Analysis

Well since the previous got surprisingly popular cause Im a nobody on tumblr still, I decided to write another post of my insane over the top analysis.

So today I was re-reading chapter 2~5 and well, lets get into it.

When he kills the CEO’s daughter, I noticed he chopped off her hair. He doesnt do this with any of the other victims as far as we know. Hair is a sign of pride, he did that to strip every bit of of her self worth and pride and Im quite sure she was alive when he cut it. Sangwoo likes to humiliate his victims but he took it a step further with this one because as I mentioned previously, he doesnt like to be looked down upon or underestimated. He says in this panel how she thought she was better than him and it speaks to how his child hood was. His family was obviously not very well off and I got the feeling this murder had something to do with him harbouring some resentment for those of a higher social class than him. There is no evidence that suggest she actually did look down on him so I wondered if he was just projecting his insecurities onto her.

But less to do with her attitude, Sangwoo was more pissed by her obviously cheating either with him or on him since she was seeing another man as well. Heres his weird sense of morality. As unhinged as he is, he is also proud, arrogant and selfish. Someone of her status was probably cheating with him and Sangwoo does not like to share. He was punishing her out if his own twisted sense of morality. Like “You look down on others and cheat..youre scum”. Every murder that we have seen Sangwoo commit, the victim always had some flaw or done something wrong. Like with the old man who tried to basically rape him and Jieun who..well..was a huge bitch (especially to bummie)..and it shows why he hasnt killed Bum. Bum isnt a bad person. Hes creepy and weird af but..hes not vindictive.

Further, I drew an interesting parallel between Sangwoo and his father regarding the whole big table/ small table thing.

Its literally the same scene..just with Sangwoo taking the place of his father. And heres why this next panel was so interesting to me:

He follows this line with:

I didnt understand what he wanted to “confirm”. Then I realized by having Bum take the place of his mother…he may want to confirm if he is indeed like his father or not. I know this is a stretch but I couldnt stop seeing this connection. This is just my interpretation. Feel free to disagree~

This brings me to this section. Sangwoos weird inferiority complex. Now..Sangwoo is infact a bully. And bullies are generally cowards. Sangwoo is handsome and charming..as seems to have it all but he suffers from an inferiority complex as most people like him tend to do.

When he says “Im starting to feel superior”, that showed me how he doubts himself. The way Sangwoo is, he technically should already consider himself superior..but he doesnt. And thats because of his insecurities and why he enjoys having submissive!Bum around. It pumps up his ego.

The Rat Poison Incident: Is Sangwoo Immortal?

Finally alot of people have been wondering about this like we know hes a fucking psycho but even he should be susceptible to poison! However, I dont think it actually was rat poison. It was too convenient that Bum finds poison just when hes planning his escape. I think this mofo was testing Bum. He was cleaning out that area before he asked Bum to clean it. He knew it was there. He didnt have any reason to suspect Bum besides Bum smiling and the whole “you eat first” thing, if that actually was poison, Bum wouldnt have made it cause Im sure Sangwoo made sure he ate more than a bite. I think Sangwoo replaced that with something else that made Bum sick. He wanted to see how far Bums loyalty went. Its just the kinda fucker he is.
