Victor Frankenstein from Mary Shelly’s Frankenhole and Rick Sanchez from Rick and Morty would probably either be the best of friends or the worst of enemies.

-Both are highly intelligent functioning alcoholics with narcissistic personalities.

-They don’t like or respect anyone.

-Both begrudgingly help people out.

-Both have created portals; only one deals with different dimensions as the other deals with time travel.

-Their sidekicks get the brunt of what they do: Morty got his legs broken and Polly Dolly got his arms ripped off.

-Rick would want to pick Victor’s mind on curing death and creating an immortality serum. Victor would want to pick Rick’s mind for dimension hopping, probably. 

-Both would moon the Grim Reaper. Just saying. Victor has already done it. You know Rick would get in on that.

-They both have copies of themselves; Rick has other-dimension Ricks, and Victor has different versions of himself from different times in his life in the anniversary episode. 

-Victor has Stewart Lawrence. Rick has Jerry.

-Victor has Dr. Jekyll/Mr. Hyde. Rick has Zeep Xanflorp and Mr. Needful.

-Both shows were on Adult Swim.

Viktor aka Prof. Sanguinaire Polidori & Igor (& Ghost)

Viktor began life in the unfortunate position of not having a soul. His parents, following their own misguided youth, had individually joined a demonic cult, offering up half of their souls in service of a devil. Then, they fell in love, and bought themselves free. However, not the brightest of folks, they did not realise that the real price for their freedom was the full soul of their firstborn.

Viktor then became that firstborn. Cursed with reddish skin, horns extending from his head and a tail, he was sure to become fodder for the devout agents of the church. His parents tried to hide him, as best as they could, but his features were too outlandish. When he was three, they put him out in the woods, maybe thinking being torn apart by wild predators was merciful, compared to being tortured to confess non-existent sins.

However, he did not die that night. Instead, he met a benevolent fey, who took him in, taught him of the world, of magic, and how to hide in plain sight.

As a grown man, Viktor took on the persona of Prof. Sanguinaire Polidori, expert, salesman, teacher and philosophist. With his masterful illusion magic, not one was the wiser. To guide him, the fey provided him with a companion, Ghost, a fairy that does her best to guide him, and sometimes put a poisened needle in somebodies neck.

He is now on a mission to find the devil that had stolen his soul, exact his revenge and reclaim what was his. On his travels, he also happened to excavate himself a ‘friend’ who he called Igor.

Igor seemed to eat gold coins. Also, despite his surprising strength, Igor seemed awfully cowardly.
