“Wanna see something disgusting?” Sandy says as she hands him her phone. “It’s so gross I can’t even look at it for more than three fucking seconds before I throw up”

“Jesus Sandy, can’t you just be normal for one fucking day - bitch this is Ian?!” Mickey is shocked to see a picture of Ian on Sandy’s phone.

“Yeah it’s disgusting. I accidentally took a picture of him looking at you bleeh” she makes a fake gagging sound “look at those motherfucking stars in his eyes”

He did. And yeah, Ian was sat on the couch looking to his left at Mikey who was barely in the photo. This must’ve been taken right before The Big Gallagher Boardgame Night (a new thing Debbie was planned, it did not end well, and it’s best we don’t ever talk about it)

Ian was looking at his back with a soft smile on his face. His eyes were wide and open, and yeah, if Mickey zoomed in he might’ve actually seen some fucking stars in them, that’s how brightly they shine. Ian’s shoulders are relaxed and his face looks comfortable and warm.

Disgusting indeed.

“Was gonna delete it but figured you might wanna see it or whatever” Sandy throws him a can of beer. “Cuz you’re gay like that”

“Yeah you too bitch” Mickey replies non caring because he’s too busy looking at his husband looking at him. Fuck. This is how Ian sees him? He quickly sends it to himself than deleted the message from Sandy’s phone. Leave no trace behind.

Mickey is not blushing.

“Yeah my husband is real fucking gay”

Sometimes I think about how Mickey & the Milkovich’s very first storyline is centered around them getting revenge on someone who they think hurt their little sister.

Mickey was just scouring the south side with a bat prepared to do ANYTHING for her without any question or need for proof, clearly so protective of her & his family. And the way no one’s even surprised by it shows that this isn’t the first time the Milkovich boys have gone after someone they think has fucked with Mandy.

They grew up in a house of horrors where all they had was each other, it almost seems like if they couldn’t protect each other from Terry, then at least they could do whatever they could to protect each other from everyone else.

And then that side of their dynamic which was set up as such a core element of their family was just forgotten about and never really explored again after, but I WISH we could’ve seen more of it.

“What the fuck?” Mickey says, swatting the hat out of Ian’s hand. “I’m not gonna wear that shit.”

“Come on Mick,” Ian pleads. “Just for one photo and then you can burn it.”

“Fine, whatever man, make it quick,” Mickey grumbles. He can’t say no to his husband’s puppy dog eyes. Which is totally unfair, it’s his birthday goddamnit and he should get to do want he wants.

Ian places the birthday hat on Mickey and gives him a quick peck on the lips. He then holds his phone up for a selfie.

“You got the phone backwards genius,” Mickey points out.

“The camera quality is better this way.”

“According to who? You can’t see what you’re fucking taking a picture of and you’re so tall I probably won’t be in it.”

“Relax, I know what I’m doing just trust me,” Ian says as he positions himself next to his husband. He holds up the phone and Mickey holds up a finger.

Ian looks at the picture and gives a frown.

“You know you’re right that wasn’t the best way to take a picture,” Ian says holding the phone to Mickey. “You can bearly see Jamie.”

“ What the?” Mickey says confused about the additional people in the picture. He turns around and is shocked to find his siblings and cousins surrounding him.

“Happy birthday Mick!” Mandy shouts jumping into his arms.

“Cute hat bro,” Iggy quips.

Turns out Ian did in fact know what he was doing.

I wish at least one of Mickey's older brothers had been a more prominent character for a single (silly) reason.

Imagine Fiona hearing about all the "fucking fantastic" sex the Milkoviches are having with her brothers and later on with her sister (she's still there when it happens,shut up,this is an au) and she just decides to "try them out" for herself once. Idk it's probably a throwaway one-night stand or something,but there's a scene of her stumbling away from the encounter dazed as hell from how good it was lol.

And it's just...the Milkovich and the Gallaghers are really compatible ok?
