The twins should’ve been zoo kids. Not because I want them to, but because of how the others were captured.
They’re on their own with no supers knowing about them as they’re coming into their powers. They’ve got strong powers. Sunny attracts attention because of his powers.
Zoe blows up tech which you would think would make them hard to find, but she doesn’t have control enough to make sure they aren’t caught on camera.
It would be a different story, because the zoo kids are only broken out because when a known cape kid is targeted. Would that still happen?
i don’t think the zoo kids would remain locked up. Look at the line up. You have Reaper’s Daughter, the heir to the sandman line, the heir to the coyote line, would have two from the superior line. And they would be getting stronger as they get older.
#Cape High#what if thought#the twins as zoo kids#I mean some of them give up after being there for so long#some of their powers wouldn’t be suited to breaking out#but the twins get up to tank strength#I think Sunny keeps pace with Trent pretty well#and Sandra gets her scythe#it’d be game over#Morgan never gave up#but I have no idea how her maturing powers would stack up

‘Kind once’, well only use for manipulative tactic and to pretend. But that does not means she have shown true kindness.
Drizella let out a sigh. She put the mirror down on her stand. Her light blue dyed streaks of hair, a reminder of a bad memory and for someone’s desire to be remember as a goddess. The light blue streak can also be a representative of his time serving The Blue Diamond Court at Homeworld. She hold her hair, it is getting long after experiencing trauma one after another, she should cut it. But should she keep it smooth and straight or let it be curly? Despite taking a bath to washed herself, Drizella lightly spray lavender and eucalyptus essential oil on her neck to cover up her rotting flesh odour. She put the essential oil spray down on her stand.
Drizella turns off the TV, ignoring the news about Foxcharme, to prevent flashbacks of the fight that The Forever King made them from ever coming. Suddenly she heard a purrs, Drizella turn to face between the entrance of the hallway to her room to see a cat. Not just any cat, but Hibonite shapeshifted into a cat. Drizella picks up Hibonite. She need to leave the house to start wand craftsmanship workshop at Friedkin University in Bellswood. She is going to be late. Drizella grimaced.
~~
Drizella holding Cat Hibonite. She purred, nuzzling on her shoulder. As she enter the campus of the university, and heading to the classroom, students, humans, both from Earth and Legerdomain felt unease as she walking down the hall.
She is not calls “The Darkness of Legerdomain” for nothing. The disturbing energy…. It is not her fault, nor Charmcaster technically because she was only defending herself (when she was in the womb) and protect her realm, that was rebuilding, from an Otherkind invasion because of the magic of Legerdomain is twisted that make anyone goes mad for powers.
Just then, Drizella heard someone calling her name.
“Wait, Drizella.”
Drizella halts, she did not looks to see who. She did not expect the person she did not want to bother seeing to be here. “I’m glad you came. You seem to be doing well. Isn’t it stuffy staying cooped up in our old home all this time?”
“For now, I’m satisfied with the ways things are now. There is no reason for you to keep me close after all this time,” Drizella answered. The person felt conflicted by this and for Drizella to push her away. She thought that if they repented and did their best, things would be find. It felt arrogant and idiotic. Time should have fix everything. If time passed, then she and the Legerdomainians would be dismissed as having been disinterested. He was wrong because unlike them (technically Morgan could if he rely on using his life force manipulation/life draining power to increase his lifespan), Hannibal/Drizella have a long life expectancy. She still love Morgan and don’t wants to be expose by Drizella’s revenge plan, she wants him to have a free and fun life. However, she (Drizella) is the revenge plan that she got rid of. And that person is paying the consequences of her actions after the exposures.
“Welcome back Drizella,” she said.
Drizella remains silence, until she gave in.
“Thanks you, Hope,”
~~
“Good afternoon, Sandra,” said Drizella, sitting down next to her. Drizella do not dare snoop at her work, evaluating the campers for Camp Synonymous.
“Oh, hello Drizella,” Sandra greets her happily to see her. “Did you enjoy life the way you wanted? Only you/do not care what others thinks,” Sandra questioned specifically.
Drizella daze by her question. Indeed, she was looking for ways to enjoy the life she have. To be honest, she was looking for ways that is what everyone she know want, an answer that would satisfy them, after Sandra be specific of her question, she can answers her.
“I love the smell of grass, making grass and flower crowns, lying on a warm pavement heated by the sun of a breezy summer afternoon. Dipping my arms in the water on a hot day, watching my reflection distorts.” Drizella answered, reminiscing the time she spent with Panacea.
This felt late.
"I am longing to crave violence and the thrill to win fights and battles. I wanted someone to feel appreciated me getting my hands dirty to finish their tasks for them." said Drizella, reminiscing how she managed to single handedly wipe out the Cleansers and invasive monsters while Travis went to sleep. “To be loved.” All she got was annoy respond.
No one, but Rebecca ask about her time at the circus, her eyes are on fire. Fire of excitement. Sandra listen to Drizella throughly on the Cirque du Curious.
“This make her really happy,” Sandra thought, seeing Drizella smiles.
The Conjoincan’s Nation did enjoy the entertainments Drizella and her circus crew bring. She miss teaching at Camp Synonymous, but at least she can monitor the queen from time to time, making suggestions, secretly oversee things, and be a guest unannounced (a lot lol).
Sandra Stoppable belongs to @ej-cappy-universe
Morgan ‘Foxcharme’ Morningstar (mentioned) and Rebecca Batson (mentioned) belong to @aprilbrowines
Spoilers of Cappyverse storylines, showing the concept of Drizella/Hannibal’s life in the far future, with a huge bit of information about Drizella/Hannibal’s birth, so this is technically Future AU of The Cappyverse.
She stared into the mirror trying desperately to find the person she had once been in the lines of her face. She'd been brave once. Kind once. Strong once.
Where was that person now?
Who was she supposed to be?

Thinking about how, between him and V, Jackie is by far the more personable of the two. He oozes such easy charisma that it's really hard to actually hate him. He's the one with connections all over Night City. V's best friend who always knows a guy. He hooks V up with whoever they could possibly need. Everyone who's ever met him either loves him, or has great respect for him.
And yet. Despite the number of people he knows and who know him, after he dies, V is the one they remember. "Didn't you have someone with you?" Sandra asks. "You did well, V. You and that... friend of yours." Wakako states. Jackie is the one who got them that job. Or at least that's what the prologue sequence led me to believe. V asks him if Wakako had any tips for the Sandra case. Therefore, Jackie was the one who got them hired. I cant tell if Wakako forgot his name on purpose cause she didn't like him/care enough or genuinely doesn't remember. I know Sandra has good reason not to. She was unconscious.
It's just gut wrenching to me. Jackie put in all this work, prolly called in so many favors, to help V get to where they needed to be, and in the end, no one knows his name. He went out with a bang and didn't even get a footnote. Of course, V can change that after the game if they want I would guess. Use their prestige and respect to spread the word about the bestest friend they ever had in nc. He does get his own drink at the Afterlife, but does anyone know who they're drinking? How colorful and full of life he was? Do they know how he died? What he did?
And I mean, his name seemed to be at least somewhat well-known in the valentinos. But that means about jack squat in the merc world. He was supposed to be a legend, but all he ended up as was a ghost.
What makes this worse in my canon, is that the "Major Leagues" was never even V's dream. It always belonged to Jack. When he chases it, he does so in Jackie's place. For him. Not for V. Sometimes he wishes it were Jackie's name he was using, just so someone would hear it and be filled with hope for the future. Just like Jackie was with Morgan Blackhand, Andrew Weyland, and Adam Smasher. He carries Jackie's ghost on his back, every rung of the ladder, and no one even sees it.
#cyberpunk 2077#jackie welles#just waxing poetic or whatever they say#feeling a way about him...#wrote this after hearing Wakako's line for the 50th time#he deserves so much better than what he got#he and T-Bug both#all she wanted was to retire#avoid the neural death most netrunners get and never have to touch the net again#I love this gameeeee

The Only One Worth Posing For
Pairing: Matthew Gray Gubler x Female!Reader
Word Count: ~1.1k
Warnings: fluff
Summary: You're a famous photographer so you often get invited to red carpet events. Your best friend is an actor, and you've taken tons of pictures of him. The only problem is that he only poses for your camera.
Square Filled: “yeah, you’re cold. I’m giving you my jacket” for @spencerreidbingo
Author’s Note: any and all comments are appreciated <3
x
Camera? Check. Extra lenses? Check. Press pass? Check. Supply bag? Check. Gorgeous pink dress you got just for this event? Check. You check the time on your phone to make sure you’re not running late, which you’re not. Your best friend should already be at the movie premier for his new movie, and you’re one of the photographers on the red carpet.
You’re a famous photographer that takes pictures of celebrities for events like movie premiers, the Met Gala, award shows, etc. Your career started in high school when you took almost all of the pictures for the yearbooks. Then, you took pictures of your friend’s graduation pictures and got paid less than one hundred dollars for it. Once in college, you took a lot of photography classes that allowed you to hone your skills and become better.
Someone saw your pictures on your college website and loved them so they got in contact with you, and that’s how you got your first job at a magazine. It took about a decade to get to where you are now and you couldn’t be happier. Along the way, you’ve met and hung out with a ton of celebrities including your best friend. You two met back when you were the photographer for the magazine, and you’ve been inseparable ever since.
Speaking of the devil, he texts you just as you are leaving the apartment.
Are you on your way?
just leaving now! be there soon xx
I can’t wait to see you :)
The message brings a smile to your face. He never fails to lift your spirits no matter how you’re feeling. He sent for a car to take you to the movie premier instead of you taking your own. When you get there, the place is packed with press, fans, and cars carrying celebrities.
“Thank you,” you smile at the driver and get out.
You head to the booth to check in and present your press pass to her. She confirms you’re on the list before letting you inside the area where the press is located. You set your bag on the ground and take out your favorite lens to use in times like these, the kind of lens that allows you to zoom in clearly even from where you are. The more popular you got, the more expensive equipment you bought.
You got here at the right time because celebrities show up not long after you get set up. Much like everyone here, you call their names in hopes they pose for your camera. You get a lot of good shots of very iconic celebrities like Johnny Depp, Jennifer Lopez, Morgan Freeman, Julia Roberts, and Sandra Bullock. The movie did so much press to make sure it is the most popular movie which is why so many celebrities are here.
You look to the left and see your best friend walk down the red carpet with a huge smile on his face. Matthew Gray Gubler. A man of many tricks. A man who never fails to make you smile. He looks past every person who calls out his name until he finds your camera. His eyes light up and begins posing for your camera and your camera only.
“Matthew! Look over here!” one of them says but he ignores them,
‘Stop it’, you mouth to him and his smile only gets bigger. What did you expect? He always does this whenever you’re in the crowd with a camera. He only cares about you and your career. If you can get good pictures of him, then you can sell them for a lot of money. People around you are frustrated with you and him but you don’t care about them.
Matthew leaves the red carpet and joins the group of celebrities who are hanging outside before they can go inside the theater. There are only a few more celebrities to capture, then you’re packing up your things. Apart from being part of the press, Matthew invited you as his plus one.
“Are you serious with Matthew?” one of the other photographers says.
“Sorry. Maybe next time,” you shrug.
You bring your case back to the town car that is still waiting for you, and you toss your press pass into the backseat. There is no reason for you to have two outfits when you can wear your red carpet outside as one of the press. You walk back over to the same booth and check in as a guest. She gives you your guest pass and you make your way into the area where all the celebrities are.
“I’m gonna slap that motherfucker when I see him,” you joke to yourself.
“Y/N! It’s so good to see you!” Shemar Moore smiles when he sees you.
“Shemar! I thought you were still filming S.W.A.T.,” you grin and hug him.
“I couldn’t miss this premier.”
“Where is Matthew?”
“Last I saw him was by the entrance to the theater.”
“Great. I’ll see you inside.” You leave his side and go find your best friend. He’s talking to one of the younger and newer kid stars, and you slink up to his side. “Excuse me. Mind if I borrow him for a second?”
“Sure. Congratulations.”
“Thanks.”
You pull him to the side and away from everyone for some semi-privacy.
“What the hell was that back there?”
“What?” he laughs.
“You can’t keep posing for my camera only.”
“You tell me this every time, and what do I keep telling you?”
“Mine is the only one worth posing for.”
“See? It’s law at this point.”
He leans in and kisses you quickly. You two have been testing the waters for a romantic relationship for the last couple of weeks. It’s been going well because you’re taking it at your own speed without the public knowing.
“You’re gonna piss off the other photographers.”
“I don’t care.”
He pulls you in and kisses you much deeper this time. You only allow two minutes to yourselves before you pull away from him. Goosebumps litter your arms and you shiver slightly under his gaze.
“You’re shivering. Are you cold?”
“That’s not why I’m shivering,” you say and shiver again.
“Yeah, you’re cold. I’m giving you my jacket.”
He sheds his jacket and slings it over your shoulder to provide you with warmth. He slides his hand into yours and pulls you toward the entrance to the theater.
“Let’s go watch this movie. Afterward, you’re gonna let me take you home.”
“We live together,” you giggle.
“Even better.”
“You’re a dork.”
“Only for you,” he winks and kisses your cheek.

Back in 2018, I created the original version of this list. (You can find the master post here.) Since 2024 marks my 30th year as an official fan of figure skating and there have been some more great programs created since the last time, I thought it was about time to update the list in honor of World Ice Skating Day. Same rules apply as last time:
Only senior competitive programs starting from the 1993-1994 season are eligible, since that's the first season I really started watching figure skating.
Each skater may only be listed once, unless a partner/discipline switch is involved.
Choice of music may also not be repeated. (Yes, there are two James Bond programs on the list, but Yuna and Wakaba use different music for the most part, so I'm letting it slide.)
I debated long and hard about whether or not I should still include programs from skaters who have proven themselves to be not so great people. I'm someone who has little difficulty separating the art from the artist, so in the end, I decided to keep them listed (although most of them got knocked down a few pegs). This list is more about the choreography than the skater anyway, although there are certainly some problematic choreographers out there, too. (Looking at you especially, Morozov!) So, just because a skater is listed doesn't mean that I'm a fan of them or that I condone their actions! I just think certain programs are still great regardless of the skaters' terrible behavior off the ice.
Choreographers are noted if known. If you know who choreographed the programs without a choreographer named, please let me know!
I've also created a handy playlist on YouTube if you don't want to click on all these links.
