Sandman, Morpheus, Dream Of The Endless sculpture.

This is a handmade figurine of Morpheus, also known as Sandman, a character from DC Comics. Measuring 9 cm in height, 9 cm in length, and 6 cm in width, this figurine is crafted from polymer clay and hand-painted with acrylic paints. Every detail of the character has been carefully sculpted to capture his essence. After painting, the figurine was coated with varnish to protect its colors and ensure longevity.

Okay, but now I'm imagining Desire sees Dream getting along with Hob. And they're really annoyed, because the whole 'get Dream to murder Rose plan' failed, and now Dream is happy? No way.

So they slink around to the New Inn sometime. Hob doesn't know who they are, of course, since Dream doesn't tell him anything, so he smiles politely, makes a little small talk.

They come back a couple more times, and eventually they say, "You know, you deserve better than Dream."

Hob, who wasn't really listening: Uh huh... wait what? You know Dream? Who are you?

Desire: I am Desire, and I can give you anything you want. Anything you... desire, if you will, if only you leave Dream.

Hob: ... no thanks I'm good.

Desire: What?

Because they've just offered this man anything he could ever want. And he should believe them, he's seen Dream's power before. They just cannot fathom the idea that he would turn this down.

Hob: Yeah... I'm pretty happy. I mean, I'm not saying there aren't things I want, but I'd rather achieve them on my own time in my own way. There are times in my life when I might've taken your offer but now... I think I'm gonna have to pass.

Desire: ...

Hob: Also Dream is really hot.

I was pondering some deep fandom thoughts over my cuppa, as you do. Considering 2022/23 Hob and all the qualities we've collectively assigned him. And I realised, what are they? An intense advocate of Choice, a bountiful lover of Life, deeply grounded in Reality, who now choses Creativity over harm, full of Contentment with his lot, has boundless Hope for the future and an overwhelming sense of Clarity....

What we've gone and done is create an Anti Endless. The alkaline to their acid you could say. The Eldritch King of 'Some Guys'. The collective fandom consciousness of normal human type person. No wonder Dreamling (plus Hob the Endless bicycle) is so loved. That's God Tier opposites attract right there. Like putting the positive and negative sides of a magnet together. We've made a character that automatically neutralises that family's ingrained insanity with his mere presence. 😆

Dream of the Endless x F!Reader

Summary:

Dreams and nightmares alike have lost their home, and dreamers in the waking world suffer the consequences.

However, a select few have gotten their dreams back, some even receiving them in the waking world. An air of mystery lingers around Y/N, and a recurring nightmare spanning decades might have just uncovered it.

While the answer may not be enough to help all the dreamers, it might have just saved the most important one of them all.

Hob Gadling promo posters

I saw lots of Ferdinand Kingsley portraits on Twitter recently, along with someone (can't remember who it was) asking for a Hob promo poster. I don't know if it's already been done but anyway, here's my attempt! Couldn't decide on one picture/caption so I made four. They are far from perfect. I cut out the portraits with an axe, used fonts I already had and just painted the background to look somewhat like the one in the original posters. But I had fun and am happy with the result 😊

The "Have a drink with" and "Keep waiting with" captions came from lovely folks on the Dreamling discord. Thank you 🖤 Also thanks to anyone who shared the high res pictures!

(We deserved a Hob promo poster btw. And a Hob Netflix icon. It's not too late to add one!)
