Is this even a question. Absolutely yes. Little freak I love him. Ok let me get weird about it. When Dean’s milk comes in he’s like “oh great another thing to deal with” and Sam goes out and gets like the best breast pump he can find and is like “ok you have to pump and we can freeze the milk” and then Dean catches Sam trying some of the frozen milk at some point. And he’s like jeez Sammy ya weirdo just drink straight from the source. And Sam gets that look on his face where he looks up from under his eyelashes like 👁️👁️ like he is going to bite you eat you. And he’s like don’t joke about that Dean. And Dean is like, does it look like I’m joking, with kind of an awkward half-smile on his face, and Sam is like I can never tell with you, backs him against the counter and is like, but I’ve been dying to know how you taste. And lifts up Dean’s shirt and starts suckling, and Dean is about to fuckin cream his pants right then and there. He feels so Mommy it’s insane

happy ww will!!!!! other than consistent water pressure and beds that belong to them, what do you think are some of the brothers favorite parts of having found the bunker?

kitchen absolutely for dean but in particular having a pantry and a fridge. having lived with food scarcity, man, being able to STORE food? being able to cook from stuff i have in the house instead of getting takeout? life changing. totally agree that it satisfies the part of his brain that wants to provide for sammy, too. i'm betting he also starts stocking up on blankets for lucifer-cold-trauma related reasons for the same reason. there's absolutely an 'emergency' box of lucky charms hanging out in the pantry.

i also think a big thing for dean would be being able to purchase dvds and stuff. you know that man has been living with either the free to air tv version of films or shitty copies from video stores that have scratches all over 'em. dean watches die hard for the first time with real, uncensored dialogue and loses his damn mind. he'd have the world's most impressive horror collection and i love that for him

sam likes being able to lock his door, even if practically he doesn't use it much. he loves the library - the part of his brain that is always preparing for the worst lives for having that amount of knowledge available to him at all times. i also think he'd get some bookcases for himself for personal use - again, now that he doesn't have to keep his whole life to two duffels, i think he'd start reading for pleasure again. that'd be really big for him.

for both of them? cleanliness. man. there's a level of tension that vanishes when you're not sleeping in a motel room filled with dubious stains.

first of all, i agree with you that rrrrl is the correct pronunciation, my "rurl" is very close and closer to the back of the throat, but to me the sound is very similar<3

secondly hehee, 1) i collect things! books, movies, music, physical media generally, my favorites being tapes--cassettes, videocassettes. im a maximalist!! i love decorations and things and being able to look at things i like to read/watch/or just enjoy like art makes me happy<3

2) i have two tattoos, both self-given (good ol stick and poke). one is the three crosses of golgotha, the other is two children in a motel verses. i plan on doing many more, especially now that i have stencils!

dean just uses clippers when he needs to cut his hair but sam absolutely went to give himself bangs as a teen only to find there were no scissors in the motel room. so. bad knife haircut. eventually he figured out straight razors work better for that shit so he has one of them in his bag just in case, due to several Incidents involving chewing gum and other assorted terrible things

sam will just straight up manhandle dean into cuddles when he wants em. dean though, he initiates sneakily. like, he will suggest watching a movie together and slowly migrate over or 'fall asleep' on sam. he is not actually subtle but sam puts up with it while trying to prod him gently towards being more open about physical affection.

dean got tricked into buying oregano in high school and it was this that prompted him to panic and actually suggest dropping out to john. he was thinkin about it anyway but that was the inciting incident. mans did not want to back to class knowing he bought italian spices instead of ganja. sam, on the other hand, lived in california. sure, pre-legalisation, but c'mon. he can identify different strains and tell you whether or not the nug you bought is going to make you green out.

Currently watching: Star Trek TOS. I'm on season 2 but it's slow going cause those suckers are an hour long each lmao. I actually really like how much they didn't know about making a scifi TV show at the time and how hard they went in at it anyway. Very charming.

This week I wanna know what your favorite Sam/Dean song is and maybe a lil drabble if you're feeling very inspired (double bonus points if it's superpeaks, now that twin peaks has bewitched your dick)

Happy WW Rae <333 I answered a question about fave samdean songs last week so here’s my answer to that. And we’ve already discussed Heaven, Iowa (by FOB) being a wincest song at length.

So forgive me for going off prompt a little and I’ll choose another song here: Way Down in the Hole, originally by Tom Waits although I’ll be honest — I like The Blind Boys of Alabama Cover better! You may recognize it as the theme song of The Wire, if you’ve seen that.

We’ve had religious Winchesters on the mind recently, so maybe that’s influencing my answer lol. But anyway! It’s not super wincesty in a romantic or sexual way, I guess, so maybe this is a weird answer lol but bear with me.

This song is actually on my Sam playlist, and it’s definitely an overly literal one. While the actual song is about a preacher talking to Frank (the POV character of the album/song), it reminds me of Sam & Dean’s constant push and pull to keep the other from the (literal) devil. It’s a very season 5 song lol. Also, the opening line (about the Garden) is likely about the Garden of Eden, but I like the interpretation that it’s about the Garden of Gethsemane, which if we want to do a little Winchesters + Bible moment could correlate with Sam saying yes to Lucifer and this cementing his eventual “crucifixion” if you will. Shamelessly links my own post.

Here’s a small drabble:

“Do you still pray?” asks Dean. They’re in the car: Dean across the bench seat in the front, Sam with his feet tucked up under him in the back. His legs grew too long to spread out comfortably about 10 years ago now, but there’s something comforting about the enclosed space. It doesn’t feel like a cage. More like a womb.

“What?”

“Do you still pray?” Dean repeats. “All those years back, remember? You said you prayed every day.”

“Well, I did,” says Sam. “I did pray every day.”

“And now?”

Sam shrugs, even though he knows Dean can’t see it. “Is there a point? Faith is believing in what you can’t see, Dean. And I can see.”

Too clearly.

“Keep the devil off your back, right? Not letting you say yes, Sammy. We can keep him down another way.”

“Okay, Dean,” he says. But he’s so jaded, and he’s so tired. And deep in his heart, his mind is already made up. If he still prays, it’s not for himself.

i love a good evil character narrative but im also very obsessed when it comes to abuse and especially in familial contexts by situations where you cannot no matter how hard you try point your finger at anyone and blame them of everything... something horrible happened and many were changed by it but nobodys actually 100% responsible for it there wasnt even an evil intention to begin with
