╰✦ Vlogging. She has a vlogging channel where she does storytimes and vlogs about what she’s doing that day. Haley does challenges and maybe almost has like tiktok. She might sometimes include Alex in her vlogs. I also feel like she definitely has a compilation of her moments like judging people or like sarcastic moments.

╰✦ Modeling. Even though she loves doing photography and being the person taking the pictures, she does have a interest in modeling and has done some modeling. She might bring Emily on shoots or even farmer as well and she would be so excited right after doing them and when they print out, she would be handing them out to people all excited!

╰✦ Baking. One of her big hobbies besides photography is baking. She likes baking stuff for people(most farmer) to try and critique it. She would also bake some things for the events going on in towns and maybe dinner parties.

╰✦ Dogs. Haley gives off more of a dog person than a cat person. Not that she hates cats but she prefers dogs.

╰✦ Holidays. She loves the holidays including Flower Dance, Luau, and Feast of the Winter Star. Decorating and vlogging for it to prepare is her favorite part of the holidays. I feel like once she moves on the farm she also likes to decorate there!

╰✦ Gossip. Haley is the type of person to wait until she hangs out with someone to drop like a bunch of drama. She’s also a quiet instigator in private she’s like “I can’t believe they would say that to you”. Her main gossip buddy is Sam most definitely. (She tried with Alex but he wasn’t remembering stuff and she eventually stopped telling him stuff😭)

╰✦ Love Language. Receiving, she likes gifts and physical touch. She likes to hold your hand especially if you guys are in a crowd. Giving, she usually does quality time and acts of service(her helping on the farm). She likes to bring her spouse along with her on her blogs, shoots and just photograph!

╰✦ Music. She’s definitely a pop girly. She listens to Britney Spears, Dua Lipa, Christina Aguilera, and Dove Cameron(she lowkey reminds me of her). She loves going to concerts too! Like she saves up to be in the front of every concert. She also has tried to do photography for them at one point.

╰✦ Dressup. People definitely come to Haley for makeovers or to get dressed up for dates. Even though I feel like she’s a bit standoffish she gets more friendly and excited when people ask for her help in this kind of stuff. She is rather brutally honest but it’s because she wants the look to be the best it can be!

╰✦ Games. Speaking of Dress Up, I feel like Haley would love DTI and like that one girl's website growing up with all the makeovers. I feel like she would end up getting banned from roblox because she would end up raging on the game(aka speaking her truth).

Alright! Parenting styles!

Elliott: he strikes me as a very gentle parent, he doesn’t like to give timeouts unless absolutely necessary since he always feels bad, especially if your kids only a toddler still since Theyer only learning right from wrong and it’s all brand new, he would love to read with your kid and colour pictures with them, he definitely loves doing bedtime with them because thats when the most stories are read! Also loves taking them to the beach to play in the sand or swim for a bit

Harvey: I don’t think he really knows what he’s doing to well, honestly it’s all a learning curve for him but with doing comes learning and he sure can learn, he’ll make healthy meals and a large variety of snacks for your kids and always takes them on walks, he’s the best when it comes to little ouchies and booboos like scraped knees or paper cuts, always has colorful little bandaids on hand for them! Cute little junimo themed ones and woodland creatures, will panic if they break a bone or something serious though, kids can be quite clumsy

Sam: he’s definitely a cool dad, he’s teaching your kids to skateboard and play guitar, feeding them pizza and joja cola. You have to inform him they can’t live off of those things and teach him how to make healthy foods and snacks for the kids but he picks up on it pretty easy, will probably call his mom for advice more then once but she’s always happy to help

Sebastian: he’s not entirely clueless in the baby department since he was around when maru was a baby, he likes to play games with them, teaches them how to play video games when They’re older so he can have a player two, also gets them into solarian chronicles, he’s the ultimate cool dad, will buy your kid a sword (probably a few honestly, it’s a collection they have together now) won’t however let your kids in the mines because he’s heard your stories of what’s down there and he doesn’t want them to get hurt

Shane: he’s been around jas a lot, he’s definitely applying whatever skills he’s gained from that to his own kid, loves to get them new toys. They have a whole Lego chicken coop complete with Lego chickens that they put together as a bonding activity. He does not know how to cook very many things but he will try, he doesn’t want to be seen as useless so he’s definitely putting in the effort! He asks you to teach him how to cook and how to put together cute snack plates (he definitely has those little shape cutouts for veggies so he can make little cucumber flowers and carrot bunny’s for your kids).

Alex: definitely an active parent, literally. Loves taking the kids on jogs and walks through town, will 100% use your toddler as a weight while he’s doing squats, just holds them on his shoulders the whole time, they think it’s hilarious and he gets in a workout, it’s a win win. If your kid wants to help him make breakfast he’s thrilled, tells them all about the nutrition and how it helps with the farm work and keeps your muscles fed and happy, of course he doesn’t deny the kid of sweets either, it’s all about balance,

I thought about it some more and i will (eventually) make an sdv blog. Its going to be a mess having all my interests on one dashboard (im lazy and i dont want to sign in and out all the time for diff accounts lol) but i need sdv stuff in sight or ill explode. For now tho i will ramble about random hcs rattling around in my brain

- The valley is FULL of magic, but not alot of Magical Beings that utilize that magic. If the residents of pelican town knew more about magic, there would be alot more wizards than just. The Wizard.

- Everyone in pelican town has some kind of latent magic, or at the very least, an affinity or sensitivity to magic. I like to think that magic builds in very secluded corners of their world and the area including (and surrounding) pelican town is simply one of those places.

-(sorry, i am just obsessed with Places and Magic) I like the idea of your farmer being drawn to pelican town bc they have a bit of magic in them. The letter is just A Letter, but it is the desire to see this town that makes them leave their old life behind. I am obsessed w the idea that the magic in the farmer craves the valley bc it sees the valley as its home, and by extension, the farmer sees the valley as their home. The people of pelican town rarely leave bc the magic in them sees the valley as their home always. The biggest examples of this are Kent, Demetrius, Evelyn, Emily and Shane. The huge exceptions to this (still workin on it) are lewis and sebastian; lewis bc i see him as a normal, non-magical being trying to wrangle the weirdness of this town, and sebastian bc his feelings of isolation and not being understood propels him to crave the world outside of the valley. (That changes a bit if u befriend him/romance him)

-(shane is weird bc hes super depressed and lonely but his happiness comes from his new ‘ragtag family’ (his words) and his very Not Normal chickens. The animals of the valley love him bc he loves them and he becomes tied to the valley bc of it. Marnie has always loved the animals of the valley and some of the love they had for her definitely rubbed off onto shane, who very openly admits he loves the chickens 💙)

-I wasnt very fond of the idea of purple=magic but i think that was bc i often saw it as a way to tie-in the wizard and abigail. I am still trying to get through the friendships for everyone but rn it doesnt feel like theres any connection between them (and caroline). But. I do like the idea of odd, unnatural colors coming through bc of magic. Alex and Pierre having normal brown hair; Haley and Sam being true blondes. BUT. Shane and Jas having purple-ish hair. Emily and Caroline have blue toned hair. Even vincent have pinkish hair 🥺💖 (and dare i say….sebastian with purple/black hair like shane 👀…maybe he has more magic in him than hed like to believe). Abigail doesnt count bc from what ive seen, Caroline laments about her daughters dyed hair. “When she was younger it used to be chestnut brown” which…awww she took after her dad lol.

- LAST THING. This is not an hc i am just mad about this. I cannot believe the game doesnt allow u to befriend Marlon. What the fuck. What the fuck !!! I love him!!! I want to be friends w the chill monster slayer! Im a monster slayer too!!! Let me give him gifts !!! Fuck ! 😭😭😭💥💥💥💥 Also. I know how to write old man yaoi. They shouldve let me do a romance path for willy, clint and marlon. And the wizard i guess but someone already did that. Linus doesnt count bc hes ascended the need for human romance; hes one w nature (read. aroace). And we (linus and willy and the farmer) already co-raise leo so that counts for something i think 🤔

Stardew characters' favourite Doctor

Doctor Who? Yes yes, this is a Stardew Valley x Doctor Who blog. Why? Because I'm heavily obsessed with both, shut up? Also, this will be slightly NewWho focused as I am a wee bit of a basic bitch and haven't caught up on Classic Who, I know I know, sue me (Sabrina Carpenter reference.) Also little aroace rant at the end. : )

Haley: Hard one cause she wouldn't be a Whovian, so given her age I'd say 10 because that's what was on when she kinda cared.

Emily: 4? for some reason I kept thinking Pertwee and Capaldi too, I don't know why though.

Shane: 13 and I don't have an explanation, I just think he got into it late but clung on. idk idk.

Elliott: Watches 12 on silent, I'm not explaining this one either.

Alex: 11, same-ish reason as Haley also he's gay so, just reckon he got into it in his late childhood like 8/9 compared to Haley because I'm certain Emily forced her to watch it.

Penny: 5. why. both kind-hearted and boring.

Sam: King, but 11, that's not a bad thing, but 11. Was in love with River, and Rory, same...

Sebastian: 9, Eccelston defender, love him for it.

Abigail: 13, I can't really explain why. Or 11, because basic and young.

Harvey: 15 (imo 14, argue with a wall) has taste, just recently learnt there is more to life than listening to a silent radio maybe hearing a human once in a blue moon. Icon tho, icon tho.

Stardew Characters' Spirit's Eve Costumes

Happy Halloween / Spirit's Eve / Blessed Samhain / whatever you may celebrate today! Many people dress up in costume for this holiday - what might the residents of Stardew Valley be dressed as this year? (note: there are a few costumes of characters that likely wouldn't exist in the Stardew Valley universe, but I believe that if they did, it would be a likely fit for certain peoples' costumes.)

Abigail: Westley (from The Princess Bride)

Alex: a zombie, maybe even a zombie gridball player

Caroline: a witch

Clint: a ghost (white sheet style)

Demetrius: Gomez Addams (from The Addams Family)

Dwarf: likely doesn't celebrate the holiday (due to not following many human customs), and therefore wouldn't dress up

Elliott: Howl Pendragon (from Howl's Moving Castle)

Emily: A ghost, but full out with a - historically accurate - dress recreation from 170 years ago, white face/body paint, and shimmer powder

Evelyn: The Bride of Frankenstein

George: Frankenstein's monster

Gus: A stereotypical summer tourist (including a bum bag/fanny pack, white face paint as nose sunscreen, a floral shirt, and a far too large sunhat)

Haley: Daphne Blake (from Scooby-Doo)

Harvey: Dr. Jekyll and Mr. Hyde (one on the right, the other on the left)

Jas: Rapunzel

Jodi: A bee

Kent: Either doesn't dress up, or dresses as a pun (such as 'ceiling fan' or 'when life gives you lemons')

Hey!!!! I saw you on my dash and did a little scroll down through your blog, congrats on making progress through your to-do list!

1) saw that you're playing Stardew Valley, i was OBSESSED with Stardew for the longest, even dragged my boyfriend into it 😂 I have so many different farmers it's not even funny, bc even with rabbit's feet i feel awful about hurting their little pixelly hearts by dating multiple romanceables at once lol. I've married Shane, Penny, Alex, Harvey, and Sebastian iirc. I actually divorced seb to marry harvey 🫣 But I've gone through everyone's heart events except for Elliott and Maru. (maybe emily too but i like. vaguely remember her 8 heart event. same for sam) Fave bachelor is a tossup between Alex and Harvey, fave bachelorette is a tossup between Penny and Leah. I just love that game so much 😩

2) how's your knee doing? saw someone else as about it, glad to hear it's getting better. didn't get to scroll back far enough to see what happened to it 😭 buuuuut good to hear recovery is going well!!!

That's it really, been working on my screentime again so I haven't been on tumblr a lot lately (tiktok is my main time sink. 24 hrs in one week is just. SO MUCH.) I hope life's been treating you well!! my life is still hectic as always (my son has been sick on and off for the past 2 months, and my mother in law is causing TONS of drama. but my ankle is getting better! i can stand for like 2-4 hrs without pain!).

If there's any changes in the way he should refer to you, you can count on this guy to be on it immediately. Doesn't mess up, and corrects anyone who does if you're cool with it too

If it's more about telling him about your sexuality, you can bet that he's all about that too. Will absolutely be your wingman, or lack thereof - if you prefer :)

Supports you if you want help coming out to anyone else as well! Very reassuring that everything will be alright, and he's totally happy to stand with you or hold your hand when you go ahead and do it too <3

So proud of you. Truly. Elliot makes sure you've said everything you needed to say, before he lets you know just how happy he is to learn a little bit more about you <3. Elliot's love is unconditional, and he thinks you're lovely - no matter how you identify.

If your coming out is related to presentation: Elliot reiterates pronouns and referring terms with you immediately - he even makes an offer to trial names or pronouns with you if you're still unsure.

If it's about sexuality, he's super supportive, even recommending you literature with couples/individual characters that are just like you!

Asks if there's anything he can do to support you, and will do it, no matter what it is.

Harvey:

Another one that's super proud of you. Coming out is terrifying sometimes , so he completely understands if it was difficult telling him. Will give you a head pat if you'll let him!

If it's related to how you present, he makes sure to ask if you'd like his medical records at the clinic updated. Offers to discreetly inform Maru too, if that's something you'd like - though he wouldn't do anything without your permission :)

And if its related to your sexuality, he's very sweet there too!

Reassuring :'). If there's anything you need from him in terms of support - now or later - just know that he'll listen to you.

Harvey's a trinket collector, so he would absolutely pick up little things for you that remind him of you or your flags colours and gift them to you <3

Alex:

Honestly just thinks you're awesome - coming out takes a lot of courage - so he's happy he can be a good friend for you here. Gives you a high five!

Regardless of what you're coming out about - Alex is giving it the same supportive energy. Behind you all the way if you need help coming out to others, even if you just need someone to vent to - he's totally up for listening :)

If there's anything you're interested in concerning physique to look a certain way, Alex has a lot of experience with exercise and making workout plans - he can totally help you if you're interested!

Also there's no way in his friendship with Haley that he hasn't picked up on a few of her hobbies. This guy definitely offers to take you shopping - whether it be clothes, pride stuff, or even just a nice meal to celebrate! <3

Shane:

Shane doesn't normally like to cause a fuss, but there's no way he'd ever hide how happy he is for you when it comes to something like this.

If it's related to presentation, Shane is more than happy to start referring to you a certain way, or even help you start to try things out. Would actually be pretty keen to help you experiment with style if you were interested.

Makes sure to reassure you that this changes nothing with your friendship - you're a lovely friend, and he cares about you a lot honestly.

Understands that you might be a bit nervous after sharing something so big, so he offers to go on a walk with you, or to his chicken shed to just chill and talk :)

Sebastian:

Very supportive regardless of what you come out as. Probably would be so easy to come out to too - he's quiet, kind, and pretty receptive, so I could see him being able to ease your nerves very swiftly. Asks softly if you'd like a hug :)

If you come out about your presentation, Seb starts checking his language immediately - making sure to immediately practice any new names, terms, or pronouns you might have given him when he's alone in his room so that he never gets them wrong.

Offers to stand with you or help you come out to others - might even hold your hand if you ask! But goes above and beyond if you need help coming out to Sam or Abby - he knows them well after all, so he can be very reassuring.

If you happen to play Solarian Chronicles with him, Sebastian casually gifts you a set of themed dice (maybe in your flag colours, or even designed after your campaign character) <3

👻Abigail: She has a secret ability to talk to spirts and monsters like Krobus/ She sometimes hangs out with Marlon and he teaches her how to use her sword/ She helps her mother with her greenhouse and grows plants for her spells. 

💎Emily: They uses She/They pronouns/ On their birthday and Sandy’s they visit her and they have a day together in ZuZu City/ They’re friends with Maru/ Ask them about rocks and gems and you’ll be there for weeks, they knows everything about them.

🌻Haley: Once she gets nicer she starts a baking hobby/ She writes a lot too! she loves to write stories about romance/ She calls her parents every month to check up on them/  When she was in high school she had a girlfriend.

🍄Leah: She’s good friends with Haley/ She’s very tall and very fit, she loves to work out/ Her and Robin work together sometimes in wood working, Robin teaches her wood working techniques. She draws Elliot’s landscapes from his books.

Elliott: Elliott laughs with the farmer, but he's a bit cautious and won't do it without double-checking. He's always prepared for a tic attack and has read up in his spare time so he knows basically what to do.

Shane: Poor Shane is always too nervous to ask a question or react to the farmer's tics at first, but as he gets more comfortable with them he'll unconsciously start acknowledging them and talking about them. Sometimes he catches himself and feels bad, but he's getting there!

Sebastian: Honestly hc that Seb has tics too- maybe not Tourette's specifically, but he kinda gets it. He's very respectful and doesn't make a big deal of the tics, unless they trigger his!

Sam: Sam, on the other hand, does react. Not in a disrespectful way, though, and he's actually quite good at acknowledging the disorder in a manner that doesn't cause it to get any worse! He's not afraid to ask questions.

Harvey: Harvey is a bit hesitant to talk to the farmer about it, but he wants to understand them better so he does get around to it. Once he does, he nerves seem to vanish and he starts acting more... normal?

Alex: Alex definitely responds to the farmer's vocal tics. He laughs with them on the somewhat harmless ones, but he's very quick to check they're okay if a tic looks painful or aggressive!

Abigail: Abigail finds Tourette's very interesting and is curious about the farmer, but once she actually becomes closer to them she starts feeling kind of shallow for it.. eventually she kind of just stops noticing the tics as much.

Emily: Emily is very sweet and doesn't treat the farmer differently at all. She makes it a priority to keep the farmer comfortable around her, and while she doesn't mention their tics, she doesn't shy away from them!

Haley: Haley's not sure how to interact with the farmer's tics at first, but she quickly becomes comfortable engaging with them and responding to them! She, too, makes the farmer's comfort a major priority.

Leah: Leah's careful to observe what triggers their tics, and is sure to keep them safe and content with her. She hates seeing the farmer have to explain themselves to different people in the valley and reminds them that they don't owe anyone that!

Maru: Maru really tries her best to keep the farmer comfortable, despite being terrified of offending them each time she does something to help. However, it almost always works to calm them down!

Penny: Penny is so sure whatever she says about the farmer's tics will come out rude. She doesn't hardly bring them up, but when she does, she instantly apologizes (even if what she said was harmless).

I’m gonna try to do this whole ‘stardew bachelors and why I didn’t go for them thing’ but I’m worried all of these entries will be “because then I couldn’t go for Elliott”. Anyway, I’ll try. Haley and Alex kind of have a Hazel and Xander from Bunk’d relationship where they’re kinda friends but one of them *cough cough* Haley *cough* has a huge crush on the other to where it’s at yandere point- Haley is not QUITE as crazy about Alex that Hazel is about Xander and unlike Hazel Haley can hide the craziness she does have around people but when it’s just her and Alex she’s all crazy and clingy-

10: Elliott is TERRIFIED of ghosts even those cute and/or clearly fake ghosts (Why else do you think Spirits Eve/Halloween has Skeletons every year and not ghosts? Actually Alex dared Elliott to watch the Disney Junior show Vampirina which went fine until Demi came on screen- Elliott literally wet himself and screamed for 3 whole hours- (Poor Alex who had to listen to that the whole time-)

16: Sebastian has snake bite piercing's but he only wears them when he’s alone (he got them in the first place cause 1: Sam dared him and 2: he decided it would be a fun way to rebel against dead to Sebastian Demetrius, he didn’t have to keep them but he ended up liking the look) 

17: Sebastian owns a giant frog plush, it’s twice the size of him, is really soft and is incredibly fat (it’s to the point it’s just a circle that has stubby legs) he loves it more then anything Excluding Alex but he does not want anyone finding out he loves it let alone owns it so he stuffs it under his bed when people are in and/or near his room

25: Sebastian has vampire powers (cause he is a vampire (Hc 5)), he knows about them and is chill about it but he does not use them unless necessary cause he just does not feel the need to use them otherwise (His powers include, immortality (he also can’t be killed cause on my take on Vampires the stuff that “Traditionally” harms/kills them is just a mith and actually does nothing to them), super strength, increased speed, fast self-healing, telekinesis (I know this is not “Traditionally” a vampire power but Seb does have it) and the ability to change into a bat)

26: Both Sebastian and Elliott are actually pretty jacked (Not Alex level jacked but still) you just can’t see it unless they’re shirt-less (but in Seb’s case at least loose the hoodie)

27: Harvey’s doctor’s mallet weapon is just as heavy and as big as himself so he rarely goes into combat cause he has trouble welding his own weapon- 

Harvey: Time to explore the mines! *grabs his giant doctors mallet*

Harvey: Nope going down. *falls backward with a thud*

28: Elliott carries at least one very sharp pencil with him at all times so if he sees a very annoying person or a slime that escaped the mines he’ll grab it and go *StAb*

29: Everyone else makes Hermit jokes around Elliott which he finds funny and annoying at the same time (They used to do the jokes about Sebastian as well but they stopped cause when they did Seb strangled them Darth Vader style) Ex of the hermit jokes:

32: When in ‘fish’ form Elliott’s tail is incredibly strong (if you get hit by it you’ll go flying 900 feet in the air in 5 seconds at full strength)

33:Elliott only lets Harvey call him “Elly” if anyone else does so expect Elliott to dump water on himself then hit you with his fish tail)

Oh, this is a really neat question! I have some more well thought out than others, but I definitely have Shane’s figured out for sure. ;) We’ll get to him last, so it’s like a dramatic reveal.

Alright, so. I guess starting at the top, Harvey is the tallest around at 6′3″. I really love the idea of him wandering the valley like a gangly giraffe, overworked and underpaid.

On the other end of the spectrum is sweet and petite Penny, clocking in at a whopping 5′2″. It makes her very easy to pick up, and you know what they say. Fine a Penny, pick it up, and all day long you’ll have good luck.

Sebastian and Maru are both 5′9″. This is one part because I think it would annoy Sebastian, and one part because I always picture Demetrius as a tree, so Maru got them good, good tall genes from him.

Absolute glamazons Emily and Haley are 5′11″ and 6′0″ respectively because hot damn, okay. I always picture Emily as all and willowy, and Haley definitely strikes me as the kind of girl who doesn’t need heels, but wears them anyway. I like tall girls, I’m not sorry.

Speaking of tall, Elliot and Alex round out the Tall People Club at 6′2″ and 6′1″. I think those are pretty common headcanons, and they work pretty well, IMO. Don’t need to mess with that much.

Sam is 5′10″ but most of that height is hair, if you ask Sebastian, and Abigail’s a cool 5′5″. Not too tall, not too short, she’s Just Right.

Lumberjane Leah has a bit of beef to her, and at 5′7, she’s nothing to sneeze at. Leah could kick my butt, and I would thank her, actually.

Finally, we have - a drum roll please....

Shane, at 5′3″, is a tiny, angry bastard, and he might be 5′4″ if he didn’t slouch so much. I love the thought of scooping him up and carrying him off. So smol, so cute! An absolute menace because he’ll take your kneecaps right off in a fight, but the perfect size to be a giant teddy bear. Snug him and give him kisses.

Plus, adding six inches to him would put him at Seb’s height, which is just a smidge over average, which, I imagine, would be just enough to not feel bad about his height. He doesn’t want much, he’s not greedy. 

(No one asked, but Pepper Mod here is 5′7″ and my boyfriend is 6′1″. I am eternally trying to convince him to do a McHanzo couple cosplay, tbh)

some stardew headcanons to start our blog off !

sebastian, after moving in with the farmer, finally starts to express himself a little more freely and he grows out his hair. he wants to grow it as long as he can before he gets tired of it, but as it continues growing, he realizes that he actually enjoys it long and he understands why elliot keeps his hair so elegantly long

he also loves when the farmer helps style it or play with it and he likes to alter his bangs to whatever he likes that day

another plus is that demetrius absolutely hates it, but robin adores sebastian’s new style

alex is really smart, but his passions constantly make him look like a one-dimensional jock boy. he actually likes to read, doodle, and has an interest in chemistry that began to bloom with the introduction of evelyn’s baking habits

he decided to learn quite a bit about food chemistry because the way things taste or form or the difference temperature has on foods is good to know if you cook, but it’s also just interesting

not just alex is into science, but haley is as well

haley enjoys biology and even though her main passions are in photography and digital art, she can sometimes be found reading or researching the “why” questions in her life

she likes to know why she feels certain things or why people do things they do, which also lead to an interest in psychology

sam likes all genres of music and likes to create experimental beats in his free time, but nobody knows that he actually used to enjoy vocaloid

he has a poster of hatsune miku in his room from this stage of his life, hes not really that embarrassed about it but nobody has ever asked about it either

elliot is a brilliant writer, of course, but he’s the complete opposite when it comes to math

this is something that most of the time, would make sense, but he has trouble reading and understanding math equations that include variables or symbols

he also cannot read large numbers that do not have commas in them and he exclusively counts on his fingers

maru is annoyed with how controlled her life is and wishes to be a little bit rebellious, but she’s not that type of person and she isnt exactly sure what she feels or what she actually wants

she envies her half-brother and his rebellious nature and she would never tell him, but she feels absolutely terrible every time hes pushed away and demonized by their dad

penny has done things that a lot of people would claim “aren’t for good people” but she’s never liked them

shes fairly sure of her likes and dislikes, and she never judges people for their coping mechanisms or what they do for fun, because its none of her business as long as they’re safe

that being said, however, she hates being called boring

leah goes through phases with being obsessed with art styles or subjects

she has several mini carvings and sculptures of frogs from when she was a younger teen because of an obsession with frogs

now she enjoys drawing birds and flowers, using some of haley’s photos as references when its too cold or rainy to go outside and use a live reference

harvey really enjoys reading comics when life gets dull

he does a lot of writing and reading professional papers and all of that times new roman can really wear you down, so he tries to take brain breaks by reading something much less professional and so much more bold

not just comics, but movies or animated shows... literally anything that has some sort of casual charm to ready his brain to actually soak in medical papers by the paragraph

shane once asked emily to make mini hats for his chickens when he was drunk, maybe it was a joke or maybe it wasn’t, he can’t remember

but to his surprise, she brought over 30 mini hats after a month of work, he offered to pay her, but she refused and only wanted to see the chickens wearing them

abigail is more of a tomboy, of course, she prefers a lot more “masculine-coded activities” to her parents’ dismay, but she also has a huge interest in makeup

maybe not casual makeup, but the bold, stage makeup that she sees in plays, musicals, movies, and shows

even the gore-y makeup art that she sees during zombie apocalypse movies and shows, she has an interest in trying out

emily enjoys astrology, tarot, and witchcraft, but she’s fairly against it taking over her life and her decisions

she likes it because its different and interesting, it makes her feel unique because its something that not everyone has an interest in

she also likes to have an explanation for things in her life that she can comprehend, rather than her sister, who relies on only scientific explanation to understand herself
