Sammy had been watching you ever since you fell down to his level. Curiosity had taken hold of both you and him. You were interested in his audio logs... while he was interested in you.

You could make a divine sacrifice.

You listened with morbid curiosity to all of his little logs. Sammy watched you from behind corners and through walls. He didn't think much of you... another lamb to the slaughter.

"Those old songs, yes, I still sing them. For I know you are coming to save me. And I will be swept into your final loving embrace."

He hears his own voice echo through the room while you sit silently and listen. You had hoped listening to these logs could give you insight as to where you are. A story to put together while you find a way to leave....

All these logs a bible of Sammy's design.

You had no idea Sammy, the man of the tapes, was watching your every move as if he was judging your every action.

"But, love requires sacrifice..."

The recording pauses, leaving you to think to yourself momentarily. In a way those words were true....

"Can I get an amen?"

"Amen...." You agree, partially echoing it while you still try to process your situation. You probably didn't even mean it. You manage to surprise Sammy when you say it. Perhaps you don't need to be a sacrifice....

You just need to be shone the light of his savior!

"My savior... this lamb will prove loyal to you, I'm sure of it."

Sammy mumbles to himself, eyes eagerly watching you from his mask. The simple word that fell from your lips was enough to get him hooked. His rotten and inky mind was delusional enough to think you were just like him....

He was the only one who worshipped his savior. The studio was awfully lonely and you held potential.... Why kill this lamb when you can make them a pet to the shepherd?

You had no idea that by just saying Amen on accident to a tape would seal your fate. You were unaware of your new secret admirer. Not until he showed up behind you at one point...

Only to bash your head in with the handle of his axe.

Darkness quickly covers you, thick like ink flooding your head. The smell of thousands of inkwells didn't do anything to help your head pain. When you come to, you're tied in front of a madman.

"I was wondering when I'd recieve an answer to my prayers...."

He's giddy to see another person, especially you. He thinks you'll be a great servant to the ink demon. He just hopes his savior won't mind him sparing your blood....

"Wh-"

You pause your reaction to hiss in pain, your head throbbing. The smell of ink makes you feel as though you shoved Sharpies up your nose, it's worse when Sammy holds your face.

"You'll be perfect. I'll do everything I can to show you the path of my savior."

You can barely comprehend the religious nut's words. You only groan at the light and his touch. Sammy hums, noticing the damage he's done.

"Sleep, my sheep.... It appears I hit you a bit too hard. I promise when you awake, I will show you the way of my savior. You will be so much happier in his light... with me."

He lightly caresses your face, leaning closer.

"Now... can I get an amen?"

A: When I should be doing something else, or when I'm in the middle of doing something else (usually I'll get inspiration in the middle of homework, or in the middle of dinner when I'm watching a show)

23: Is starting at the beginning, middle, or end easiest? hardest?

A: I like starting in the middle because that's typically where my idea happens. Sometimes that becomes the beginning. The hardest part is the beginning, honestly. Because if my idea is in the middle, I have no idea how to get to that point without it seeming unnatural.

25: Favorite part of the writing process?

A: Sharing with my betas and rewriting it completely with the guidance and with my own fresh eyes. I don't like editing-- I can get the grammer check on Word to do that for me. I rewrite. Because I have the whole thing down, I just need to make it Better.

A: Currently, it's the only fic I've posted on AO3. It's a Harry Potter fic called Rising of a Wizard Suffragette. I;m most proud of it because I had the confidence to post it and the confidence I wouldn't abandon it.

A: Yandere and viceral gore. I wrote some paragraphs that I was going to use for a Yandere!Gloxinia x Sage thing, and it was great and believable and honestly (not bragging) good quality compared to what I see as "my best work." But reading it again when I had to rewrite/edit was so difficult because I felt so uncomfortable.

43: A trope you want to use but havent?

A: HANAHAKI DISEASE OMG i love the idea of hanahaki disease and it would be PERFECT for what I'm imagining but i just havent the time!

44: Favorite genre to write?

A: Long-fic romance with a lot of trauma (usually family centered trauma), I like writing families, for example, SageXinia and their kids.

A: depends on the fandom! My favorite oc to write for atm is Percy from BSD, but for canon characters I like writing for Remus Lupin, Sammy Lawrence, Gloxinia, Kunikida Doppo.

Yandere! Platonic! Sammy Lawrence with Intern! Darling

Short Concept

Pairing: Platonic

Possible Trigger Warnings: Gender-Neutral Darling, Overprotective behavior, Slight fear of abandonment, Implied kidnapping, Platonic relationship, Implied attempt at murder, Selfish desires, Jealousy.

You knew Sammy before any of this cycle stuff happened.

He was always annoyed at distractions from his work and Joey's poor planning never helped.

He was a very stressed man.

As an intern when you met him, you were seen around the studio a lot.

You enjoyed the music department in particular.

You spoke with many people who were part of bringing the Bendy cartoon to life (metaphorically).

Animators, voice actors, musicians and producers....

While Sammy came off as very gruff and annoyed due to the working conditions he was forced to deal with, he actually grew close to your company.

It started with him being rather bossy when you tried to help him.

Although once his work load was lifted to the point it was manageable, he relented.

Soon he became somewhat gentle towards you.

Sammy thought it was nice to see someone like you so often.

You helped provide relief from the work load and even tried to give advice.

In a way, you were a welcome distraction.

One he doesn't mind wandering into his department to talk.

You really do take the edge off him.

Other employees notice this new behavior in him.

Even more so when Sammy develops some sort of overprotective behavior towards you, the intern.

He stares at people who talk about you.

It's like he has a strange jealousy about you when you talk to other members of the studio.

It scares others as it's like he's glaring daggers.

You two get along great although the others are scared to tell him that... well... interns leave at some point.

You're just here for work experience.

You're younger than Sammy no doubt so he may see himself as a mentor towards you.

There's some points where he's seen teaching you how things work in his department.

You're not only great friends with the older man, but he's also like your teacher.

His attachment towards you really shows near the end of your work period.

Soon you have to stop interning to continue your studies.

When you break the news to Sammy, you can see something dim in his eyes.

"Right... your studies. I almost forgot you weren't working here fully. Just an intern.... Well, I hate to see you go, (Y/N)."

He's holding himself back to be professional, but he wishes you could work in his department for at least a little longer.

Your company held him together.

Surprisingly you got a hug from him before you left.

It was a sad hug, disappointment evident in his actions.

You were not expecting this to be the last time you see Sammy... human.

Years after you finished your studies, you're sent a letter.

A letter prompting you to visit the now abandoned Joey Drew Studio.

You're greeted with memories of when you were just an intern, although the letter itself is strange.

Did everyone get this?

Long story short, curiosity makes you go, then you regret it.

Now you're walking among ink soaked halls, the strong scent of ink wells and rotting wood forced into your nose.

The shape of the studio was not the weirdest thing, however.

It was the ink creatures.

Such a discovery made you wonder what you were getting involved in back then-

This... this was a cartoon studio, right?

It's in this rotting building that you encounter your old pal again.

It's nearly impossible to tell how old he is now.

Although he sounds the same as he was back then... voice-wise based on what you heard.

It's clear with your first encounter of him in this place, axe in hand, that he isn't the same mentally.

"Sheep, sheep, sheep... it's time for sleep!"

Sammy has severe memory issues when he's turned into an ink creature.

It'll take some time before he figures out who you are.

At one point, Sammy might corner you.

Sticky ink coats his skin, his mask fixed to his face.

He closes the distance which earns a plea from you.

Then, he stops.

Right before he swings his axe down, he stops as if he's realized something.

"... oh my dear lamb! It's you!"

His memory is foggy but he knows you.

At least... you look very familiar to him.

With a face like yours, he's sure he's seen you.

"Sammy...? I'm no lamb, it's me, (Y/N)? What the hell happened!?"

"Oh, sheep... it's been years! I... faintly recall you working with me. We were very close."

"Yes, Sammy- That doesn't explain what's going on-"

"I apologize... (Y/N). Come, walk with me. You'll be safe as long as you stay by me."

Saying your name appears to be a struggle to him, like he's unsure if it's correct.

Also, walking with him has you on constant edge.

The axe he holds does little to comfort you.

Sammy would have forgotten why he feels so attached to you.

His more protective behavior slowly seeps in.

It doesn't hit all at once due to his memory loss.

It's like he's slowly relearning his feelings towards you.

He becomes rather rough with the ink creatures yearning to taint you.

Some of the actions you do with him as you try to find out what happened here feels... familiar.

He begins to see you like he did before over time.

You help him like you did years ago...

You talk to him like you did years ago...

Even with your age, he still sees you as he did years ago.

You're his intern, the best student he could've asked for.

The same intern that left years ago... leaving him to drown in the ink and bow to a demon as his savior.

Well... now that you're back...

You don't have to leave again.

Then you can stay here, let him cling to the little amount of normalcy you provide.

You remind him of his past self.

He wants to go back to that time...

A time where he was excited to see you.

One where he didn't have all this memory loss.

Unbeknownst to you, Sammy is plotting against you.

While you talk idle chat, Sammy thinks of how he can trap you.

He believes that you will help him through this mess.

This cycle.

Even if you can't save him, keeping you here will be enough for him.

Soon, it will be just like back then.

Even if it requires the ink to claim you like him.

"I'm so happy someone came back for me...."

I think an alternative idea I had for Sammy Lawrence whenever Andrew still hadn't completely lost it though was like—

Basically, due to the ink cult driving Sammy mad behind the scenes and the constant stress of Joey not appreciating his works and overworking him, Andrew sort of became Sammy's one source of emotional support. And as a result of his emotional and mental instability.. Sammy began to become a little too attached to him? And as his insanity progressed, it became very obvious that he wasn't just attached, he was obsessive on an unhealthy level. Which is also why Andrew decided to investigate when Sammy began to act weird too other than the other things he had been doing.

Okay let's see...

• Starting off strong with MLP. My mom used to love the ponies back in the 90s so ofc i got introduced to FIM in the 2010's (Friendship is Magic/Generation 4)

• Monster High, because again, my mom introduced me to it. Was obsessed with the movies and characters, even had a heck ton of dolls! Draculaura was (and still is) my favorite MH character.

• Gotta get the indie game fandoms outta the way so, FNAF. Ah yes, a classic. The game i found through a literal Just Dance back in 2017 and what paved the way for discovering-

• BATIM. (Smooth transition, i know) Lil' Bendy darlin' and all his absolutely terrifying inky friends was what made me so interested in 1920-30's rubberhose animation. Alice will forever be my favorite...alongside Sammy Lawrenc-

• Cuphead! The OTHER indie game that came out the exact day BATIM chapter 2 did, that got me really invested in animation and 30s culture. Loved Casino Cups and absolutely FREAKED OUT when i heard the game was getting a show on Netflix. (One time i even spent like a week animating eyelashes and a skirt onto mugman in several clips of the show, lost it tho.)

• Which not-so-smoothly transitions over to BBIEAL! Or uh, Baldi's Basics. This silly little shitpost of a game is my comfort and therapy, i'd die for these characters tbh. Love everything about it and found Kindly Keyin & VOAdam through it! (The comic dubs was a phase in itself honestly.)

• UNDERTALE. God DAMN i love this game, and it's no wonder why- i mean, come on, it's Undertale. Lovable characters, a heartwrenching story, the biggest fandom Sans-astrophe ever, etc. I took this quiz once (or twice) where i found out that my soul trait would be Patience, the cyan soul, and yeah. Makes sense.

• UNDERTALE: YELLOW. okay, okay, i'll keep this short. This is a fangame, i repeat, FANGAME for Undertale that came out a few days ago and i am in love. Check it out PLEASE if you love Undertale, you'll love UTY aswell.

• Aaand moving swiftly away from that, let's talk SONIC THE MOTHERF- HEDGEHOG. I finally caved and got into this 30 yr old franchise back when the 2nd movie had just come out in uhhh 2022? 21? Either way, best decision i've ever made. Was actually really into Sonic.EXE before this, which leads me to-

• My Creepypasta phase! Yes, i still draw the operator symbol on my wrist sometimes DON'T JUDGE ME. But this is actually one of the first fandoms i joined! having found Smile HD and Rainbow Factory at a wayyyy too young age, i got into so many more iconic pastas over time.

So those were the big ones, now's time for a speed-round!

• Tattletail, loved it. Best game ever, there's literally a full analysis video about it on YouTube as to why.

• Hazbin Hotel/Helluva Boss, found HH back when the pilot got uploaded and just sorta kept up with HB.

• DSMP. Yup. It was popular and i found some really cool youtubers through it. (*cough* TommyInnit *cough*) still have my L'manburg flag hanging on my wall.

• Yandere Simulator. it was genuinely fun and interesting, sucks the creator's such a creep. But on the bright side, i found Kubz Scouts from it! so i'm glad i had this phase.

• Danganronpa. Found it through Kubz Scouts, got a little too into it lol (it was fun though)

• Found the magical world of TikTok aesthetics and got into Weirdcore, oh how i love surreal chaos.

• Just recently got introduced to the mechanics and world of felt puppets, think Sesame Street or The Muppets.

• Also animatronics! Think 70s Chuck-E-Cheese, The Rock-a-Fire Explosion, and so on.

• This ain't a phase but SPACE. God how i love the endless, deadly and terrifying void filled with unexplainable wonders that we're floating around in. Astronomy in general tbh.

• Game Theory, science and researching. Need i say more?

• Roblox. It was a huge part of my childhood (AKA 2017 uptil' now) and i will forever love the website and many memes it has spawned.

Here's some peeks at my old friend group in pony town! I've met a few of them again, and the pony above the red head in the first photo is who I nicknamed Emo Sammy and he was Cloud's boyfriend. I miss these guys a lot ;w; I'm still in touch with the Bendy in the 4th photo.
