That use of autotune has given me a lot more love for it, but I honestly feel like people scrambling to tear apart songs don't realize how lovingly they've been composed together.

Maybe it was there for a reason. Ya never know!

ok guts I'm not really a big hozier fan but. I saw a video saying "DO YOU PREFER THIS SONG WITH OR WITHOUT AUTOTUNE??????" using the song from their official lyric / music video and then I think like. A live / concert version

Have you??? Never heard of a fucking studio recording??? His voice sounds the same in both videos because it's not autotuned, one is recorded at a concert and one is a studio recording of course it's going to sound cleaner it's not like he can't sing

It's so tiring to not be able to enjoy music or any singer without the whole "WITH OR WITHOUT AUTOTUNE??????" Like not all fucking editing is autotune !!!!!!!

Editing can be getting out background noise, adding in some like synth stuff or audio that can't be played on an instrument, adjusting the tune of the instruments, making things sound clearer, editing volume between vocals / instruments, ect

Not all editing is autotune dude can we maybe just fucking enjoy music holy shit. I'm not always a big fan of live recordings of songs since I like the cleaner feel of studio recordings but some live recordings sound SO good (I love you making a monster live at koko 2024 by the hoosiers)
