apple tv originals all look like they’re shot and edited the same way, I keep expecting to find “Shot on iPhone” in the credits before a pan to Tim Cook talking about the latest chip developments

#it’s like marvel movies or disney face #this and the way that they’re terrified of putting anything out without an a list star in the billing #make a lot of their shows feel like a snl sketch if that makes sense #still compelling tv but I have a lot of trouble separating the actors from the characters #in the back of my mind it’s like ‘that’s Idris Elba acting’ ‘it’s Reese Witherspoon’#same way I’ve been having issues with Ahsoka because it’s too Rosario Dawson in cosplay #she somehow looks exactly #like the character and wayyy too much like herself #even Elizabeth Winstead looks way too much like herself in green makeup
