in truth, sam is wrestling with a fucking lot of feelings of guilt, and is rather stuck on the vibe of doing ANYTHING he can to make things right. any cost. no matter what kinda vibe. it's that suicide mission vibes kinda thing, making him work overly hard and focus. he feels like he let dean down most of all, and it's lowkey been eating away at him and he just wants to find a way to stop that, while also accepting the truth about himself that maybe this is actually the only path for him.
