“This is Spooky.”

“Really?”

Your boyfriend looks over at you with a nonplussed expression. The house before definitely does not fall under Spooky category. There’s a few decorations in the yard and by a few it’s one Styrofoam grave with a skeleton sticking out of the dirt in front of it.

You grin over at Sam and give him a small nudge with your elbow, muttering “It’s for the kids.”

“Oh – oh. Yeah. Real spooky.” He says it through gritted teeth, beaming a smile and waving over at his nephews, who are returning from the not-spooky house with their candy bags just a tad fuller.

Their costumes were incredibly adorable. AJ was dressed as Captain America, complete with a cowl and plastic shield and Cass was dressed as some cartoon character you couldn't name. Seeing them dressed up and excitable with Halloween spirit made your heart melt. When Sarah had asked Sam (and by extension you) to take them trick-or-treating whilst she picked up an extra shift, you'd jumped at the chance to spend time with them.

However, seeing all of the young kids in their costumes (and after one particularly fat baby dressed as a pumpkin) you were beginning to feel... something. You couldn't quite pinpoint the feeling; you were ecstatic at the playing and laughter, the dressing up and how cute all the kids were. But there was an ache in your chest that nagged at you; moreso when a family trio walked by hand in hand, all three dressed for treats and trickery.

“Look Y/N!” Cass said excitedly, running towards you with his bag open. “Mrs. Brights gave us Reese’s Pieces!”

“Oh wow!” you respond enthusiastically, leaning closer to inspect the bag. You give Cass a big grin. “Must be because of how awesome you look, kiddo.”

Cass blushes and rushes to join his brother at the next house. You straighten with a sigh and watch from the end of the driveway next to Sam, who’s eyeing you curiously.

“What’s up with you?” He asks, keeping his eyes on his nephews.

“Huh?” you bluster and clear your throat. “Nothing.”

“Don’t nothing me.” Sam’s eyes narrow over to you, but he’s grinning. “You’ve been off all evening. Spill.”

“Its just...” You shift nervously on your feet. You hadn’t expected to have this conversation tonight. A pit of nerves twist anxiously in your stomach and a cold sweat inches down your spine. “Seeing that fat baby really got to me.”

Sam bursts a laugh. “He was pretty chubby.”

Silence falls as the kids come back and you walk briefly to the next house on the lot. Once they’re out of earshot, Sam continues.

“But that doesn’t explain the look you have.”

“What look?” You frown, annoyed your own face had betrayed your emotions so readily.

“I don’t know like.... almost sad. What’s that all about, honey?” Sam’s voice drops to a comforting whisper, a large hand rubbing small circles on your back.

"I uh.... just want one." You say nervously, trying extremely hard to say nonchalant. Sam almost trips at your words and looks at you wide-eyed.

"You.. want one?" He repeats and you're blushing furiously now. Oh God. You're brain panics until Sam continues with, "Like... right now?"

Your burst into giggles and Sam is red-faced with embarrassment. However, his nephews return and demand you both take them to the next block before you can continue your conversation.

"Not now now," You whisper when the kids are out of earshot. "But one day."

Sam clears his throat, adjust his shoulders. "Ah. Gotcha. I, um, - " He flashes you a playful grin. "Would like a fat little pumpkin baby too."

You smirk at him, quirking an eyebrow. Your heart feels a lot lighter than it did earlier. "Just the one?"

Sam shrugs but there's the mischievous glint in his eyes that you love so much. "Maybe a whole patch."

"Samuel," You hiss at him, nudging him with a grin.

"What are you two talking about?" AJ asks, scowling at you both. You hadn't realised they'd finished and thankfully only caught the tail end of your conversation.

"Pumpkins." Comes the unified answer and the matching look of sheepishness.

"Come on boys, we have one street left." You say, ushering them up the street, hand in hand with Sam. When the boys have run up the drive way, Sam pecks your cheek sweetly and you link your arms with his; cuddling closer with a warm, fuzzy feeling as you watch the boys get their final round of candy.

It’s your first time went to the gym with your friends, after struggle with your self pity and the pressures from reality, you finally determined to go and do the basic self care.

So, you and your friend discover a new gym that is only a fifteen-minute walk from your home, and the two of their trainers are the owners, and they are the former Captain America and Sergeant Barnes!?

“Hey, hey girls, listen. We’re here to train ourselves so we have to behave alright?”

“Shut up, you’re the one drooling to Mr.Barnes’s training video.”

“How could you blame me? You even have wet dreams that night okay!?”

Just when you want to tease Finch and Sam, you heard someone called Sam’s name.

"Buck,don’t tease too much, Sam still courting her.”

Sam groaned when Finch snapped her head back to him in seconds.

“You’re courting me? Is that a joke or prank or something? Why??”

“I’t not a joke, and we could talk about that later, okay?”

 Finch frowned but she nodded eventually, San gave those men a stare before he spoke again.

“Okay, ladies, they are my friends, Steve and Bucky.”

You could feel Bucky's eyes glue on you and that heat your face.

“Nice to meet you, ladies. ” When you shook hand with him, you both breath heavily at the same time.

And he pushed Bucky left the room. Sam kissed Finch's forehead and left, too.

After that, you backed to the front desk, and you noticed there were more trainer.

“Okay, so Finch, can I call you that? ” Finch nodded and Steve winked at Sam

“Finch, well, Sam would be your trainer and training with you. He still need basic training lessons even though he's Captain America.”

“And you, Miss....”

“Chipmunk, they all call me that.”

A man looks similar to Steve but more wilder chuckled and reached our his hand

“Ari Levinson, your future trainer. ”

Chipmunk tilted her head and stepped back to see Ari properly, then she shook his hand.

“You're so tall, like a giant. ”

“And you're so tiny, like a small animal. ”

Chipmunk shrugged, “Well, that's how chipmunk is. You wouldn't want to be voted by a giant chipmunk right? ”

Steve setted the clipboard down and walked Tora to their training room.

The smell mixed with sweat and soap hit your nose. His body was trembling, face buried into the crook of your neck. You slowly stroked his back until he calmed down, but he didn’t release you. Instead, he held you tighter, and your flesh met each other. He spread his legs so that you were trapped between his two long legs, he groaned and sighed as he shifted the weight on you.

“Welcome home, Sam.” You kissed his temple, and he smiled while he kissed your skin back.

“I’m home, Feather.”

Taking a hot bath with him is an unspoken consent for you both, there’s not about sex, only comfort, and sharing your life when the other one is not around. He’d wash your hair, and you’d embrace him, your fingers trailed the line of his back, and kneading his sore muscles.

Sometimes, lust is like the tequila in the bottle, and the innocent touch is the lighter. It’s no matter who started kissing first, when your land safely from the cloud nine, it always means you’ve already calmed down from the last high and he’s ready for another round.

The second rule is easier, and results from Matt’s mama hen mode, he made you feel at home. You’d have to hold the bag while he hung the umbrella for you when it’s rainy; Cuddling with each other on the couch and listening to the soft music.

He asked you why you love to start with Scarborough Fair when it’s your turn to choose the songs. You shrugged and repeated the song again, those words you can’t say to him all hide in the lyrics:

When Electra is back, when Matt brings her to your house, you know it’s time to fulfill the third rule.

Seeing the worried and the shadow of love shining in his eyes, you aren’t fooling yourself enough to neglect that obvious evidence.

“Why did you laundry your clothes every day?” He asked when you patched his wounds.

“It’s summertime, Matt. It’d be stink if I wash them once a week.”

He snorted while his sight moved to his bedroom–Elektra now sleeps in there.

“She woke up and asked about you, Matt. She…”

He grabbed your wrist and yelled to you, “She woke up? Why didn’t you talk to me soon!?”

“I was, but you’re injured, besides she’s fallen asleep again. So I choose to…”

“You just jealous, don’t you?” His words slapped your face and shred your heart to pieces.

“...I’m not following.”

“Yeah, keep playing stupid. You thought your feelings for me is unrequited so you hold that her wake back from me. Really brilliant, little lamb.”

Frozen in his sarcasm, your eyes widened. His mocked face falls when he saw a tear drop down your cheek, the liquid trailed to the back of his hand.

“Oh shit! I’m, I’m sorry lamby. I didn’t mean that, please forgive me.” His begging didn’t make up to you, you knew each other too well.

He means it, he accuses your motivation is malicious, how dare he!

“It’s unnecessary, Matt. I know what you were trying to say and you’re too tired.”

He cursed himself while he gave you a bear hug. His warm body temperature didn’t warm your heart this time.

“Good night, lamby.”

“Good night, Matt.”

And when he back after he finished the daily patrol, only Elektra and the empty of your bedroom waiting for him.

Bucky can see the beautiful lake through the French window now.

Steve's arts are the decorations in every hotel room.

You are the front desk now because Sam is a sailor and he really loves the job.

As for your relationships, when your birthday coming, they held a personal party for you.
