“Sam?”
“Hmm?”
“What’s wrong?”
He looked up at you, chocolate brown hair falling in waves over emerald green eyes. He brushed it out of his face, and you resisted the urge to tangle your fingers in it, to cup his cheek in your other hand and kiss perfect lips that appeared as if they were made to meet yours.
Something was bothering him, and it had been all day. You could tell in the way he wasn’t really involved in your conversations, could tell in the way he never looked at you like he did usually, like you were the most beautiful thing in the world. You could tell in the way his kisses lacked their usual passion, could tell in the way that he just smiled when you told him you loved him instead of saying it back.
On your walk you had stopped at a café, taking your usual seat outside, letting the Australian sun bear down on both of you. It usually provided a form of comfort, but today, it felt sweltering, suffocating. Something was bothering Sam and it worried you.
He had tucked his jacket around his neck, muttering how the usually pleasant breeze was almost cold, and you hadn’t argued. There was that sweltering heat but there was a chill in the air too, one brought on by suspicions that Sam was planning on ending things with you.
The thought made you feel sick. The image of life without him, without waking up to him every morning and falling asleep by his side every night, haunted you. You had always known that he was too good for you, and you had never taken him for granted. He was a kind, beautiful soul, and for some bizarre reason he had chosen you to be his girlfriend.
Maybe today was the day he had finally seen sense.
“What do you mean?”
“You’ve been on edge all day. Something’s wrong, and,” you swallowed, not wanting to admit the words you were about to say, “And if that’s me, then that’s okay.”
Sam’s eyes widened, horror on his face. He leapt up from his place opposite you and ran around to your side before crouching down in front of you. You almost cried when he interlocked his fingers with yours, kissing your knuckles.
“Listen to me, Y/N. It’s not you,” he squeezed your hand, “It could never be you. It’s me. I guess I’m just worried.”
You stroked his cheek, hating the thought of him upset. “Worried about what?”
Sam sighed. “I hadn’t planned on doing this here, but it seems like the perfect moment.”
You were about to ask what on earth he was talking about when he shifted position, placing one knee on the ground as he reached into his back pocket, one hand still wrapped in yours. Realisation sunk in as Sam pulled out a small, black velvet box, and you felt tears begin to fall. Tears that had been reserved for the moment he told you that things were over between you two became tears of joy as a single question escaped his lips.
“Y/N Y/L/N, will you marry me?”
And then you saw it. Life with Sam as your husband, life with you as his wife. Life where the sun shone every day, where the breeze was always a pleasant breath of fresh air, where there would be laughter and love, smiles with teeth showing, and when there were tears, there would always be someone there to wipe them away.
You saw yourselves in ten years time, coming back to this spot, maybe with children, showing them that this was where their parents had promised to love each other until their dying day. You saw yourself taking a stroll with Sam along the beach, hand in hand, and okay, maybe his hair would grow a little longer and maybe there would be signs of age starting to show in both of your faces, but nothing else really would have changed.
You would be just as in love than you were at this moment. He would still kiss your temple, bare feet in the sand, toes dipping in the sea when you needed to cool down. He would still tell you he loved you every single day until he couldn’t anymore.
It was the life you wanted and here it was, offered to you with a simple question. A question that came from the mouth of the man you loved, a ring in his hand as he knelt in the courtyard of a cafe, a look of hope on his face.
It was the life you wanted and here it was, ready for the taking. Your answer was the easiest you had ever given.
“Yes.”

Good Little Girl ~Prince Caliban Imagine~
Summary: You’re Sabrina’s innocent best friend. When you help her go to Hell to rescue Nick, you all meet Caliban the moment you enter Hell. However, Caliban takes an interest in you the moment he laid eyes on you.
Author’s Note: There’s not enough imagines for Caliban from the Chilling Adventures of Sabrina. Let’s get on the Caliban train guys.
Part Two
Tumblr media
You felt cold and wet the moment you entered the portal to Hell. Coughing out some water was strangely odd to you. You looked around to see everyone else okay as they as well coughed out some water.
“Is everyone okay?” Sabrina asked worriedly.
“Wait. So, Hell is a beach?” Harvey asked.
You all looked around until you saw a sign that read, The Shores of Sorrow. You and everyone else stood up as you all looked around. You shivered a little from the cold.
“I thought Hell would be warmer,” You shivered.
You saw a big sand castle nearby making you wander closer to it.
“Y/N!” You turned to see Sabrina rushing over to you.
“You know you can’t wander off. I know you have the tenancy to explore a lot but right now, isn’t the best time to be wandering off,” Sabrina said.
“I’m sorry but I just saw a big sand castle and wanted to see it closer,” You said.
“Guys, what are those?” Theo asked. You all looked over to see people trapped in some cage on the waters.
“The souls of the dammed,” You heard. You and everyone else looked over to see a strangely handsome guy appear from behind the sandcastle.
“I think I know who built the sandcastle,” You tell Sabrina.
“They drown as the tide rolls in, over and over...for all eternity,” The guy tells you all. You, Sabrina, and the rest walked over to the guy who had his shirt opened. Exposing his well detailed chest.
“Hi. We’re looking for Lilith. Um, Madam Satan, Queen of Hell. She’s in Pandemonium, if you happen to know the way,” Sabrina said.
“All blood flows to Pandemonium,” The guy said as he pointed over to a river of blood that was streaming downwards.
“Follow the blood-red road where it flows, and there you’ll find the throne of Hell,” The guy tells you.
“Thank you. I like your sandcastle by the way,” You mention with a smile.
“What is your name?” The guy asks you.
“What’s yours?” Sabrina asked, guarding you a little.
“Never step off the road,” The guy tells her. He took a look at all of your shoes.
“It’s clever you’re wearing dead men’s shoes, though... any demon worth his salt can smell mortal flesh a mile away,” The guy warns before going back to his sandcastle.
You noticed a broken shell making you pick it up. As everyone started to head off you walked over to the guy before handing him the shell. He looked up at you and the shell.
“Give it some decoration at least. It looks nice,” You smile before giving him the shell.
“What is your name?” He asked you.
“Y/N. I should be going,” You said before jogging back over to your friends.
After facing through Hell, you all finally made it to Pandemonium. After Sabrina struck a deal with Lilith on announcing her as Queen of Hell officially, you all stood to the side to watch it all go down. When the Kings of Disorder rejected Lilith and proposed a new king, you saw the guy from the beach walk over.
“All hail Caliban, Prince of Hell. Molded from the clay of the pit itself. Native son of the inferno,” You and your friends looked at each other.
“He’s made out of clay?” You asked in confusion to Theo. Theo gave you a shrug as you watched Caliban walk closer.
“Born to restore and rule our dark domain.”
“Hello again,” Caliban smiled. He looked at Sabrina first before looking at you and giving a wink. After they all talked about Hell and Earth and all that, one sentence from Caliban snapped you out of your thoughts.
“I’ll show mercy only once. And is to make her queen as I rule Hell,” Caliban said as he looked over at you. All eyes went to you.
“No. You are not dragging Y/N to Hell to be your queen,” Sabrina said.
“Yeah. Y/N, is an angel. She doesn’t belong here,” Theo pointed out. Most of the demons sneered or hissed at Theo’s words.
“Sabrina, can we please leave,” You begged feeling uncomfortable.
The moment you all left, you felt weird. You wanted to go straight to church and beg for forgiveness.
“Are you okay, Y/N?” Roz asked you.
“I’m fine,” You tell her.
“Y/N, I promise you that you will not be Caliban’s queen,” Sabrina tells you.
“Okay,” You nodded.
“I’ll make sure she gets home safely,” Harvey said.
“Thanks, Harvey,” You said.
As you lied asleep in bed, Caliban watched you sleep. Caliban appeared in your room the moment you fell asleep. Caliban walked over before sitting down near you on your bed.
“Such beauty. And so much innocence,” He says out loud. As Caliban caressed your cheek, you stirred a little. Caliban leaned down before giving you a kiss on the cheek.
“Sweet dreams. My princess,” Caliban whispers before leaving you room.

#33 with Caliban?
You were standing in your kitchen cooking dinner, awaiting Caliban’s arrival. He was coming over to meet your parents for the first time and you were nervous. Being a witch yourself, you were relieved you didn’t have to lie to your parents about who he was and his abilities. They weren’t all too pleased to hear that he was in face a demon, but respected your judgment of his character and were willing to give him a shot to prove he wasn’t so terrible.
You were cutting up some vegetables to throw into the pan when a gush of hot wind suddenly shot through the air causing you to jump at Caliban’s sudden appearance. The knife slipped, nipping the tip of your finger. You hissed in pain and instantly wrapped your hand around the sore finger.
“You couldn’t have used the door like a normal person?” You asked.
“I’m the demon prince of hell and your family is full of witches and warlocks, I’d say we’re far from normal.” He said shrugging off your question, “why did i scare you?” His smug smirk found its usual place on his mouth.
“A little.” You unwrapped your hand from your finger to assess the damage done by the knife.
“Oh my gosh, is that blood?” Caliban rushed to you noticing the blood on your hand that was coming from your finger. “Why are you bleeding?” He asked.
“I jumped when you popped in and the knife slipped.” You explained, turning to the sink to rinse the blood off your hands.
“What do i do? I’ve never bleed before. Do you heal yourself? Is there some kind of medical person we need to call? Should I just go get your mom?” His questions were rushed causing you to chuckle a bit.
“No, Caliban. I think i just knicked my finger. No need to call a doctor or my mom. Nothing a band-aide can’t fix.”
“What’s a band-aide?”

Smash or Pass
🥀A/N🥀 Hi, I’m Jenny Gray, I’m kind of new to Tumblr and this is the first imagine I write on this blog. It’s shorter than what I usually write, but this is a gif imagine who’s only purpose is to get me back into writing. I’ll probably post this later on my Caliban imagines book on Wattpad {The Dephts of Darkness}.
🥀 Warnings🥀 Sexual themes, foul language, and that’s pretty much it.
🥀Word count🥀 1096 words. I’m actually really proud of this and I hope you enjoy! [Requests are open]
Tumblr media
“Why are we even doing this?” You asked your best friend, Caliban, as you rested your chin on your right hand.
“Because school is horribly boring and I would rather play a dumb game for little kids than pay attention to the science teacher talking about anatomy,” The blonde responded while a cocky grin appeared on his face, making him even more irresistible. “You know me, (Y/N), I’m much more of a hands on type of guy. There’s nothing that the teacher could teach us that I don’t already know thanks to a few cute girls, if you know what I mean.”
“You’re such a pervert, Caliban!”
“You know you love me,” he chuckled before changing positions, so that he could sit closer to you and face you properly. You tried to calm down the butterflies in your stomach as he did so. “Want to play smash or pass instead?” “I said it once and I’ll say it again, you’re a fucking pervert. But, then again, smash or pass seems a bit more interesting than playing ‘I spy with my little eye’. Fine, I’ll play, but you’re starting. Sabrina.”
“Smash, duh! I mean, who wouldn’t want to hit that? Her platinum blonde hair is totally hot,” Your best friend answered in a heartbeat. You couldn’t help but feel your heart shattering at his words. You’ve known him your whole life and you’ve loved him almost as long, so to hear him say that about one of your closest friends really made your heart ache. “Now it’s your turn, darling. Nick.”
“Pass, hard pass! He’s my ex. You can’t sleep with your exes, because if you do, it gets so awkward. Trust me, I’ve been there more than once, actually,” you answer, your smile never faltering, not even a little bit . You were friends with Nick now and things were better off that way, it felt more natural than pretending to be happy with him and telling yourself over and over that he was the one, even if he definitely wasn’t.
You didn’t notice how Caliban’s hands tightened into angry fists when you mentioned being in a relationship with someone that wasn’t him. He loved you with all of his heart, more than a simple best friend should, and he couldn’t fathom how on Earth you hadn’t noticed that yet. I mean, he had already tried every single trick in the book; dropping hints here and there, calling you darling or other cute names that couples give each other and he tried making you jealous on multiple occasions, which was what he was trying to do right now. But it seemed like his plan had backfired, because instead of you being jealous, it was him who ended up feeling that way. At least, that was what he thought
“Okay, what about Amy?” You questioned as you looked at the girl. She was quite tall, with red hair and brown eyes. She was known for having a lot of boyfriends and it was also a known fact that she had broken up with every single one of them because she had a tendency to cheat on them. “I heard that she’s got her eye on you.”
“No, thanks. Sloppy seconds aren’t my style, (Y/N). It’s your turn, would you rather smash or pass Harvey Kinkle?”
“As much as I hate myself for admitting this, I would smash him without any second thoughts. Sure, he used to date Sabrina and he’s currently dating Roz, but come on, who would pass an opportunity like this with a guy that hot? Not me, that’s for sure. Plus, Harvey’s really nice and he seems like the type of guy who enjoys himself just by pleasing the girl he’s with. So that ought to be fun,” you explained you reasoning. Suddenly, Caliban stopped smirking, like he wasn’t enjoying at all this game anymore.
Almost instantaneously, he put on a fake smile, so that you wouldn’t notice how annoyed he was at you response. He couldn’t bear the thought of you being with Harvey, it was even worse than imagining you with Nick. Because he knew that Nick would fuck up eventually, meaning that you would be out of his evil clutches in the blink of an eye. But Harvey? He was a nice guy and if he dated you, he would definitely be everything you ever wanted in a boyfriend, and how could Caliban compete with that?
He was mad, yet curious and without thinkIng, he blurted out, “Would you smash me or would you pass?”
You could feel yourself getting flustered, so you tried to avoid the question as best as you could, “Cal, the game doesn’t work that way, you just asked me about Harvey, so now it’s my turn to ask you.”
“I don’t care about the bloody rules of the damn game,” he furrowed his eyebrows, an angry expression on his face. He closed his eyes and let out a deep breath before saying calmly, “(Y/N), darling, could you just please answer the question, I’m dying to know.”
“Why do even care so much? You can have any girl in the whole world, most of them are pretty, so why even do you even bother with my opinion?”
“Because I don’t care about other girls, I don’t care if they’re perfectly beautiful or if they’re smart, because you are all of those things and for the record, I don’t care about other girls’ opinions,” he stared at you with such admiration that you had to bite the interior of your cheeks to not smile like a total idiot. Caliban put a strand of your (h/c) hair behind your ear. “I like you, wait, that’s not right, what I feel for you is much stronger. I love you, (Y/N). You don’t even have to say anything back, my heart is already lighter because of my confession. Just give me some space so I can get over you and we can go back to being best friends.”
You leaned in and your lips collided with his, sending chills down your spine, telling you that you and Caliban, even if he was a cocky bastard and your best friend, belonged together.
“I love you too, Caliban,” you said before smirking. “ And just for your information, I would totally smash you.”
The blonde smiled against your lips before saying softly, “Man, playing smash or pass with you is my new favourite game.”
Nothing could bring you back down from the cloud the two of you were on to Earth, not even a detention given to you by your science teacher.

People begin to fill the throne room as someone cheers, “Here’s to the true heir of the throne, the Prince of Hell!” Caliban smiles and walks into the middle of the room as they begin to clap at his achievements. His smile remains on his face as he chuffs, “The quest was nothing really. And my competition, well she clearly could never defeat me.”
Your short laugh echoes the room as everyone turns to see you standing at the door. Wiping blood out of your eyes, you take a step forward and grin, “Surprised to see me Clay-boy?” His eyes grow wide as he looks you up and down to see red covering your clothes. Taking another step forward, you tut, “Oh, don’t worry. It’s not all mine.”
Caliban finally looks back up at you as a small smirk grows on the side of his lips, slightly impressed and relieved to see you again.

You pulled on your chains frantically as you heard his footsteps come closer to where you were being held. Your knuckles became sore from the pressure you put on the chains, and to make matters worse, the chains didn’t move an inch. The creaking of the floorboards outside your door only heightened your anxiety as you gave up on the chains and searched for a weapon of some kind.
How long had you been down here? How did he find you, and what did he want?
He never explicitly told you. He only ever gave you his name. Other than that, all you know is that you were walking home from Baxter High and then suddenly you were trapped here. This room was dark and cold, and you were most definitely starving. Your captor mockingly knocked on your door. Your body started to shake as you watched the doorknob twist open.
“Hello, Darling! It’s time to shine,”
You whimpered at the sound of Dorian Gray’s voice. He always spoke to you in an over enthused tone, and on any other day you’d be annoyed. Today, you were only scared. Perhaps you were weak? Perhaps you were being pitiful? You didn’t care; you just wanted to go home.
He gave you a sadistic smile as he pulled on your chains harshly. Your body sprung forward by his sheer strength before he began dragging you across the floor. You kicked, screamed, and begged, but you could tell he was dead set on whatever his agenda was.
“I truly apologize.” he grunted as he struggled to pull you. “I normally don’t use mortals for this, but I’m running low on witches.”
What the hell did he mean by witches. You were dealing with a real lunatic, and you definitely did not have enough crime show experience under your belt to know how to deal with him. You cried out as the handcuffs tore into your wrists.
“You we’re, I’m afraid, just too easy to pass up. You basically fell right into my lap,”
You sobbed as you tried ignore the burning in your wrists and pulled back. Unfortunately after several minutes of being tug a war with your wrists and being tossed around like a rag doll, Dorian finally threw you in front of a series of horrific paintings that gave you absolute chills. You shuddered and used your last ounce of will to fight to attempt to crawl away, but Dorian only pulled you up by your hair and forced your eyes to meet his. You gasped at the look on his face. His eyes were glazed with anger and desperation with the most unsettling frown you had ever seen.
“This is how this’ll go. If you ever want to come back and see your family again, you will do exactly as I say without error.” Hot tears poured out of your eyes as you nodded your head in reluctant agreement.
He chuckled; he was clearly pleased with your cooperation. He slowly unchained your wrists then kissed the raw skin of each. You almost gagged at the feel of his chapped lips on you.
“You will walk into that painting and retrieve a special flower from the Forest of Torment once you go through it. It’ll be the only flower there. Then, you will recite these words to get back.” He said as he pushed a paper into your hand.
You looked between him and the paper repeatedly before slapping him across the face without a second thought. The force of your hit made his head turn, but he quickly recovered.
“You kidnapped me for a fucking flower! You want me to jump into a piece of paper. You’re psychotic!” You shouted.
You didn’t realize his fist was coming straight for your face until it was too late. Your body tumbled to the ground as you weeped on the floor. Dorian rolled his eyes as he roughly grabbed your forearm and yanked you closer to the painting.
“The spell will only work if you have the flower-“
“Please, I swear to God-“
“God?” He asked as he stopped in his tracks to cackle in your face. “There is no God where you’re going.”
He suddenly launched you into the painting in front of you. You expected to collide headfirst into the wall behind it but instead you crashed right into freezing cold water. Your body thrashed around from the intense force of the waves. You only had a few seconds of air from when you entered the painting, and the temperature of the water made you want to gasp for more. Your lungs burned as they tried to keep the remaining oxygen you were holding inside your lungs. As you felt that air leave your body, a final wave had you tumbling onto dry land. You hacked up as much water from your lungs as you could before crawling out of the shallow water.
Holding yourself up by your elbows as you tried to regain your breath, you looked around to gather your bearings. You were at a beach? Loud groans caught your attention, and when you turned around on your back towards the ocean to locate the source, you found the eyes of dozens of people in cages staring right at you. You wailed at the sight and clumsily ran up the beach in tears before bumping into a large mound of sand. The collision had you stumbling backwards into a pair of arms, which greatly influenced your decision to thrash around like a maniac in that same person’s arms.
“W-Would you just calm down?” A voice struggled to say before letting you go.
You turned around to come face to face with a very attractive man. A shirt was lazily thrown over his shoulders, exposing his chest and abs, and his loose curls were swaying in the breeze. You waited a minute to catch your breath from your earlier struggle and he let you.
“What’s a mortal like you doing in Hell anyway?” He asked as he observed your figure carefully.
“What do you mean Hell? You know what, nevermind, I need your help,”
He crossed his arms and nodded his head for you to continue.
“I-I don’t know where I am or what this place is. He pushed me through a freaking painting, and he needs me to get a flower or something. I know this sounds absolutely insane, but you’ve got to believe-”
Caliban could sense an impending anxiety attack, and to be frank, he was not in the mood to deal with it.
“I do, but who told you to do this?”
“Dorian Gray! He kidnapped me, and he said I couldn’t go back until I got him a stupid flower and recited this,” you said handing him the paper.
Caliban read it quickly, noticing that it was a spell in Latin. He could obviously tell that you had no idea what the paper said because of the glaring trick within the words. He chuckled at your naïveté before handing the paper back to you. You gave him a baffled look as he walked back to his castle.
“That spell will ONLY bring the flower back not you. He tricked you, princess.”
“What?” You mumbled as you tried to decipher the spell yourself.
Caliban only shrugged and made his way back to his castle. You, however fell to your knees in despair.
A spell? Like as in witchcraft. Did a spell get me through that painting? Does that mean this truly is Hell, and you are stuck here!
You turned around to face the guy from earlier, but he was too focused on his build. Caliban, of course noticed you watching him, but he gave no sign of this to you.
You had no idea where to go or what to do, but if this is Hell and this guy had the balls to build a fucking sandcastle here, then it would probably be better for you to stick with him.
“It needs a moat,” you suggested.
Caliban quirked an eyebrow at your unprovoked advice. You didn’t look at him. Your eyes were too focused on the small windows Caliban was creating. A hint of a smile ghosted his lips as he admired you silently.
“What’s your name?”
“(Y/N).”
A month had passed since your arrival to Hell. There was no agreement or deal of any kind, but Caliban had decided to take you under his wing. You, of course, had no problem with that. After Caliban confirmed that this was Hell, you knew there was no way you could survive alone.
While Caliban would never admit it, he honestly enjoyed your company. You were a really sweet and innocent soul when you weren’t angry or upset. You never complained, and you helped Caliban with anything you were capable of helping with. Your humor matched his perfectly, and he lived for making you blush. He was very pleased with the way you two complimented each other just right.
That was also his major issue, though. Caliban saw the overwhelming sadness in your eyes, and he listened to every rant you had about Dorian. He even saw the tears that fell whenever you thought of Greendale. He felt extremely guilty. He could have teleported you back home whenever he wanted to, but he wouldn’t. He just couldn’t let you go. However, Hell was no place for a mortal, and reality would soon hit Caliban in the face because of that fact.
You kneeled behind Caliban as you braided pieces of his hair together. He was, as per usual, building up his sandcastle while you mindlessly conversed with him. Caliban’s heart always swelled when you and him shared moments like this. They were moments where you and him just forgot about the torment and the suffering around you. It was the only place in Hell where love still bloomed.
“Caliban, do you ever plan on actually finishing this damn castle.” You asked as you stopped playing with his hair.
He mentally cursed at the loss of contact between the two of you but recovered smoothly.
“It would go by faster if you would help,” he sassed back at you.
You rolled your eyes and sat down beside him to admire the way his hands molded the sand. You knew of your feelings for Caliban for a while now due to the way your heart beated faster around him and how you seemed to stutter more than normal. You never acknowledged it or brought it up. It was better just to ignore it, right? How could he ever feel the same way about you.
“In case you forgot, I broke half the castle last time I tried to help.”
Caliban laughed at the memory. You were extremely upset and frantic when it happened, but he just enjoyed the sight of you trying to fix the mess. You were beautiful.
“Here.” Caliban grabbed your hand lightly and placed it on the bumpiest side of the castle.
Your face flushed at the feeling of his thumb slightly caressing your hand as he demonstrated the best technique to smooth out the wall. He let you do it on your own for a while as he watched you. You didn’t realize how close he was getting to you into you finally had the courage to look at him. He was staring at your lips. You thought you were hallucinating, but no he was definitely staring at your lips. You bit your lip in embarrassment, but Caliban’s sharp intake of breath signaled to you that was a major turn on. You blushed at the thought and looked away to hide it. His hand slowly creeped up behind your neck to bring your face closer to his. Your lips were so close to touching when a low laugh caught both of your attention.
Caliban’s eyes widened in horror at the sight of the Plague Kings in front of him. Caliban quickly sprung to his feet and pulled you behind him. It was too late; they saw you.
“A mortal, Caliban? I thought you were above this,” one of the kings commented.
Caliban’s breathing hurried from the fear of what would come next. Your hands made their way on his back to try to ease his anxiety, but it didn’t work. You didn’t know what they would do to you, but he definitely did. He’s seen it.
“Imagine the prince of Hell with his mortal whore,” the other king sneered, “it cannot be,”
You snapped your hands away from him when you heard the title. Prince of Hell?
“Kill her,”
At once the three kings rushed forward, but Caliban was already a step ahead. He pushed you to the ground and uttered some nonsensical words when a ring of fire suddenly surrounded you. When the fire dissipated, you were alone in Baxter High’s library.
When your breathing finally calmed, you tried to make sense of what had just happened. Caliban brought you back. He saved you. Before your thoughts could sink further a smaller fire started in front of you, and just like last time it stopped after a couple of seconds. In its place, a piece of paper lay flat on the floor. Scrawled in messy handwriting were the words, “I’m sorry”. You pondered of the meaning of the note when you realized something.
He could have sent you home the entire time?
He forced you to stay there. Hatred quickly replaced all feelings you once had for Caliban and just when you were about to scream in anger. The doors to the library slowly opened, revealing your best friend.
“(Y/N)!”
“Theo?”

The Fae and the Prince
Tumblr media
Author: Sooo.. I’ve been reading all these Caliban stories after finishing CAOS (I know.. took me long enough) and I was inspired, mainly because there are not enough!! It’s been awhile since I wrote something, so please don’t hate! Enjoy!
Summary: Reader is BFF’s with Sabrina and her gang. She must help Sabrina claim the throne in Pandemonium, but along the way she meets Caliban, Prince of Hell.. She learns some things about herself along the way..
Part 1:
The air had just turned crisp. Fall was arriving. A sharp wind made your skirt flutter. You were on your way to Sabrina’s to talk about your next move and to hear about her and the gang’s trip to Pandemonium. Before you could knock on the Spellman’s Mortuary door, Sabrina had already flung it open. Her eyes were wide and she was panting as if she had just run 10 miles.
“What’s wrong ‘Brina?! Is everything alright?” you exclaimed.
She grabbed the collar of your pinafore dress and pulled you inside. “Caliban. Regalia. Contest. Not safe”, she gasped between breaths.
“What are you talking about? Who the hell is Caliban?” you said.
She sat down in one of the plush chairs in the parlor and explained what happened while the four of them were in hell.
“When we got to Pandemonium, someone spoke up and challenged my claim to the throne. It turns out it was the babe—evil babe, we saw on the beach when we got there.”
My eyes were glued on her the entire time, “What the hell.. I mean can he do that?”
“I guess.. I mean the Kings of Hell okayed it.. Now I have to find this goddamn crown, a bloody bowl, and Judas’ 30 pieces of silver for crying aloud. I have no idea where I’m going to start.. I mean maybe the academy has some books on it, but you would think someone would have gone through them already and found something.”
You sat there just as puzzled as she did, but you could not help but get lost in your own thoughts. You couldn’t dare tell Sabrina this, but what she was telling you was almost the exact same bedtime story your mother, Freya, used to tell you when you were growing up. ‘A queen challenged in her court, destined to set out on a quest to find three objects desired by everyone in her court. If she failed the throne would fall to the unrelated prince from another part of the kingdom.’
“Y/N? You good?” Sabrina said.
“Yeah, gosh sorry, just been a long day. I’m sorry.”
“It’s fine. I was asking you if you could stay and help me figure out a plan for how to find the first object?”
“Yes, of course! Hey didn’t you say that Pandemonium had a library with literally everything there is to know about this kind of stuff?”
“Oh my Lucifer you’re a genius!”
--
Sabrina and you made a plan to teleport to Hell’s Court at midnight. You ran home to change your shoes into more practical boots.
 “Y/N? Is that you?”
“Hey mom! I’m going to spend the night at Sabrina’s tonight, is that ok?”
Freya had a quizzical look on her face. “Y/N, that’s fine, but before you go can we talk about something? It’s serious.”
“Yeah, sure what’s up?” Your mom grabbed your hand and sat with you on the couch. “It’s about our family tree. Mainly you and your father and I. I need to share something with you that may be upsetting, but it’s something you need to know.”
“Mom. What’s going on?”
“Ok, I’ll give you the short version. You know the story of Lucifer, the angel that fell from the Heavens?” “Yes..” This was too weird.. You were about to teleport to Hell, why was she bringing this up now.
“Well this may be hard to believe, but it’s real. All of it. Your father is Lucifer’s brother. He is a “Watcher” a type of Angel in Heaven and a long, long time ago, your father, Arakiel, came down to Earth to check up on Lucifer and instead he met me.”
“Is?” I said staring and my hands.
“Huh?” she asked.
“You said is an angel. You mean he’s still “alive”?”
“That’s what you got from all of that?”
“Mom! You said he left when I was a baby and that he died a long time ago.” you snapped at her.
“Sorry.. Well I did that to protect you.. He did leave, but has always been here. He visits you every eve of your birthday and blesses you for the year.”
“Oh my…” you trailed off tears in your eyes. “Mom, how are you just now telling me this?”
“Well, something has changed.. Something has disrupted humanity. Your father has to stop it and you’re the only one who can help him.”
“What do you mean?”
“Well, that’s the other part of the story I need to tell you. You see when you’re father and I met.. Over a thousand years ago..”
“I’m sorry what?”
“You see Y/N; I’m a Tree Nymph, a dryad technically, that’s how I met your father. Long story short, he was performing a geomancy in the forest that I inhabited and he and I fell in love. Shortly thereafter you were born... This makes you half angel, half fae.”
You were frozen. This could not be happening. Sabrina was the witch, Roz had the cunning, Theo could see souls, and you and Harvey were the mortal ones of the group.
“I have to go.”
“Darling no! Please let’s talk about this, your father will be here soon! We don’t have much time.”
“I have to help Sabrina right now, with something that’s equally important.. this can wait.” With that you slammed the door behind you.

Sabrina Spellman swore that Hell would have to freeze over the second she saw Caliban get “soft” and care for mortals.
That day was today.
Greendale, being the small town that it was, housed many local favorites which included Dr. Cerberus’ diner, also dubbed as the local hangout of the Fright Club. There wasn’t much to say about the whole situation about who was running Hell with Sabrina’s clone down under and the Sabrina you knew alive and well, talking your ear off about Nick this, Harvey that, and Caliban this and that.
If you were being completely honest, you wouldn’t have it any other way.
So when Caliban teleported back up to Earth’s surface and caught you off guard leaving school grounds, you let out the loudest yell imaginable and dropped all of the books and stray pieces of paper you were carrying.
“Jesus Christ,” you said, clutching your heart. You bent down and started to pick up what you had dropped.
Caliban chuckled. “Not quite. Doubt he’s ever going to come to Earth.”
You didn’t pay much attention to his comment in favor of gathering everything that was on the concrete and Caliban frowned, bending down to help you pick up some notebooks that were closer to him than you. When you finally stood up, you moved strange of hair out from your face and huffed, annoyed.
“If you’re going to scare me, at least do it where people won’t see because I’m pretty sure I’ve embarrassed myself enough for this entire school year.” The corner of Caliban’s mouth lifted into a smirk when he saw you try to reassure your schoolmates and tugged on your backpack strap to get your attention.
“It’s a Thursday afternoon,” he stated.
“Yes?”
“Do you have any plans?”
You were taken off guard.
“What are you planning?” you asked with a raised brow.
“Nothing bad,” he promised. “Since Sabrina number two is down in Hell dealing with things for the weekend, I figured why not come up here and spend the day with my favorite mortal.” You laughed at the sentiment and fixed your backpack to keep the straps from falling.
“Well, I’m headed to the diner to study for a little bit before I head to cheerleading practice,” you explained. “I have about two hours before I have to be there so might as well eat and study. You know, kill two birds with one stone.”
“Mind if I join you?” he asked.
“You want to watch me study for two hours? It’a gonna be kind of boring,” you explained.
“Think of me as your study-buddy.”
“Where did you even learn that phrase?”
“Sabrina’s rubbing off on me,” Caliban said with a low laugh. He gestured away from you. “Lead the way.”
The diner wasn’t too packed when you arrived and you chose a table big enough to let you put your laptop and notebooks on while having a plate of food beside you. Your water bottle sat proudly in Caliban’s hands as he looked at the various stickers stuck to it.
“This is quite peculiar,” he said.
“It’s a bunch of memories,” you explained. “This one’s from the camp grounds Harvey and I used to go to when we were younger. The orange one is from when Sabrina and I first became friends and that red one is the first sticker I saw with the world ‘Hell’ on it after coming back from, you know, Hell.”
Caliban smiled at that one. “You’re odd.”
You tilted your head and chuckled, not knowing how to respond to such a comment. You turned your attention to the screen in front of you, reading online articles assigned to you for your AP World History class.
“What is ‘AP’?” Caliban asked, looking at the textbook that sat beside your computer.
“It stands for advanced placement. It’s basically a college course for high schoolers so we don’t have to take it when we get to college and it gives us school credit.”
“Sounds complicated.”
“It is,” you said, clicking out of the article you had finished taking notes on. “I think this while ‘Hell’ ordeal set me back because I haven’t been studying as much as I used to. At the end of the school year, everyone who takes AP classes has the chance to take a test that determines a score, which determines college credit.”
“You humans are so overachieving,” he commented, stealing a fry from your plate. “But I suppose being knowledgable isn’t bad.”
“Sometimes I feel like I put too much pressure on myself,” you confessed, your gaze back on the man sitting in front of you. “Like, does this really matter? Whether I ace or fail my AP tests won’t matter in the long run and it’s not like I can avoid going to Heaven or Hell.”
Caliban quirked an eyebrow, realizing that discovering the secrets of witches, Hell, and Heaven had left you in a turmoil that no one bothered to discuss. Sabrina was a witch and had accepted her fate on her sixteenth birthday. As for the other three mortals, they had some sort of lineage in magic that offered them solace. You did not.
“Going to Hell really messed with you, didn’t it?” You didn’t want to say anything in fear of offending Caliban. When he wasn’t trying to steal the throne from Sabrina, he was a decent person, you thought.
“Um,” you said, pausing, “I think it made me realize some things. I think those things are making me confused about the next step in my life and if what I’m doing is worth finishing.”
Caliban looked at you and the various books, notebooks, and writing utensils sprawled out on the table. He saw your color-coded planner, binders that kept your articles and paperwork in place, and the dark tint underneath your eyes. That was all he needed to know.
“I think you’re on the right path. From the looks of it,” he said, gesturing to the messy table in front of you, “you are so passionate and dedicated about learning and doing something with your life. Not many people can say the same. You have the advantage of knowing Hell exists and the second layer to humanity while others wonder about religion and faith. Use it to your advantage.”
“If I hear this correctly, it seems like you don’t want me to give up.”
“I don’t,” he said, almost too quickly. “Your ambition to do well on your tests resembles my quest to become King of Hell. As I have found out another way to rule Hell alongside Sabrina, I think you’re going to find out what you’re meant to do in life.”
“You’re starting to sound like someone who believes in God.”
He chuckled. “God and angels exist. You know that now. I suppose you’ll have to continue praying to find out what He has in store for you.”
You sat there, dumbfounded. It wasn’t too long ago that Caliban had been in the grand room, cursing angels and Heaven above out of frustration and anger. You and Sabrina had been waiting for him to finish throwing his tantrum before she could engage in business with him, so hearing Caliban talk about having faith in something that even he didn’t believe him gave you a glimmer of motivation.
“I don’t even know what to say,” you said softly, fiddling with a pen.
“Go out with me,” Caliban said. “To that drive in theater across town. You mentioned once that you like to go there when you’re stressed. We could forget about Heaven and Hell for one night.”
“Okay,” you said quietly, earning a gigantic grin from Caliban.
As you were about to pack up your belongings, you heard a “Oh for Satan’s sake” from behind you and turned to see Sabrina rolling her eyes, already dressed in her cheer uniform.
“Caliban, my clone and I are going to beat your ass if you hurt Y/N in any way,” she said in a sickly sweet tone. Caliban nodded, heading the message without much argument. You packed up your belongings and ran to use the restroom, leaving the two mystical beings alone.
“I really like her,” Caliban said after a brief pause. “And I know you don’t agree wholeheartedly but I intend to prove otherwise.”
“Y/N’s smart and won’t take anything from a boy if she’s not comfortable with it,” said Sabrina. “All I’m saying is you should watch you back should you ever hurt her in any way because it’s not just the Fright Club that’s gonna come after you.”
Caliban gulped and watched as you emerged, putting your hair in a low bun before walking outside to go to cheerleading practice.
“How does tomorrow night sound?” Caliban asked before you entered Harvey’s truck.
“Pick me up at six,” you said, pressing a quick kiss to his cheek. “And this time, please don’t teleport and scare me.”
The boy made of clay laughed and promised not to, watching as you climbed into the truck and waved goodbye. He saw Sabrina give him an all-knowing look, but he was determined to befriend your friends if it was the last thing he did.
Hell, he had an entire lifetime to get to know you.

BONUS:
“Why are you looking at me like that?” you asked as Harvey and Sabrina looked at you. The keys were in the engine but Harvey didn’t bother moving, opting to look between you and the spot where Caliban had teleported to Hell.
“I know he’s kind of a good guy now, but are you serious?” Harvey asked.
“What?” you asked, provoking him. “Am I not allowed to be in relationships like you two?”
“I’m just surprised, is all,” said Sabrina. “I mean, you did hate him when we first met him.”
“Absolutely nobody messes with my best friend,” you said. “You two, well, the other you, is ruling with him peacefully.”
“What is he tries to pull a trick?” Harvey asked.
You had to admit, that was a fair concern.
“I don’t think it’ll come to that, but if it does, there’s no way in Hell, literally, I’m choosing a boy over my best friends. Who, by the way, I’ve been friends longer with.”
Harvey seemed to like this answer and started the engine, driving back to the school grounds with you in between him and Sabrina.
“I guess Hell really did freeze over.”

everybody wants to rule the world (caliban)
Tumblr media
When Sabrina was 8 years old, her life got a little more unusual. Being a half witch raised by her two aunts and cousin (all full-blooded witches)  in a mortuary was not a common experience for most children. But things became different when another cousin, from her mother's side of the family, came to live in the Spellman house. Her mother, Diana, had a brother, William; WIlliam married and had a daughter just two years before Sabrina was born. She was named Genevieve Sawyer, and she and her paternal cousin had been very close to one another their entire lives. When it was heard that William had been shot and that Genevieve's mother was not fit to parent, the girl's cousin and family immediately stepped up to take her in and be her legal guardians.
Despite Genevieve's unfortunate circumstances, she never lost her bright personality or kindness. She seemed to stick out like a sore thumb in the Spellman house from time to time, but it was a welcome change of pace for everyone who lived there. For the next eight years after she had gone to live with her cousins and aunts, she had grown into a compassionate, driven young lady. Growing with her were several pets she had acquired over the years. Genevieve had a special love for animals and so had adopted many. She had a spotted turtle named Tucker, whom she had rescued from getting run over by a truck one morning. She also had an orange tabby cat named Tex, a green budgie named Pico, and a blue pit bull terrier named Bambi. The latest addition to the family was an albino ball python, whom she was currently in the process of naming.
"Genevieve. I mean it this time," scolded her aunt Zelda. "No more pets. You have barely enough space for them all, and I won't allow any more of this."
"No more, aunt Zelda. I got it. This guy is the last," she affirmed, gesturing with the snake which was slithering over her shoulders and down her left arm. Her aunt shuddered.
"How you can allow that thing near you is beyond me."
"She's sweet!" she defended. "She's just curious."
"She stays in your room only. If I see a snake slithering about my house I won't hesitate to kill it."
"She won't go anywhere. Promise."
Once her aunt had finished scolding her and left her room, she turned her attention back to her new friend. "What do we call you, huh?" Genevieve said. She set the snake down on her bed and flipped on her record player against the wall to fill the silence, and an old Fleetwood Mac album started spinning. "Well," she said, "I have to take Bambi and Tex on a walk, so I guess we should put you in your tank, huh?" She moved the young albino to the mostly empty tank and placed the lid over it, promising, "I'll get you some decorations while I'm out." Then she put on a pair of socks, laced up her shoes, and grabbed two harnesses and leashes from the footboard of her bed, heading downstairs to find the only two of her pets that were mammals. "Morning, aunt Hilda," she greeted the small blonde woman.
"Oh, g'morning my love! Are you taking Tex and Bambi on a walk?"
"Yeah, once I find 'em." "Well you'll eat first, won't you?" She pointed to the table. "Some toast for you."
"You're the best," Genevieve said, sitting down to take a bite of it. The toast was covered with peanut butter and sliced bananas; simple, but a favorite of the girl's. She finished eating quickly and was off again in search of her cat and dog, finding them in the family room. Tex was lounging on the couch and Bambi had seemingly been banished by him, staring at the tabby from the ground. "You wanna go on a walk?" she said to them both, her voice increasing by about an octave. Bambi's ears perked up and her eyes widened; Tex hopped down from the couch and over to circle Genevieve's legs. "Hey auntie," she called into the kitchen, "Do you know where Beans went?"
"Yes," her aunt called back, "I believe she went to go see Harvey, Roz, and Theo?"
"Okay. Thank you!" She then strapped both of the harnesses onto Tex and Bambi and put them on their leashes, and then made their way outside to their usual walking route. About halfway through their walk she and her two companions made a detour to go to Harvey's garage, where Genevieve had guessed their band would be practicing and where her cousin had gone to find them. Heading around behind his house, she found the garage door unlocked and entered in to find the four of them seemingly discussing something important.
"'Vieve,"  Sabrina greeted as soon as she saw her cousin. "What's up?"
"I was walking Tex and Bambi," she responded, holding up the two leashes attached to both animals. "What's up with you?"
"Sabrina's trying to take us to Hell," Theo told her.
Genevieve's eyebrows raised and she went to take a seat on the couch closest to her. "Why?" she asked Sabrina.
"Nick." She said his name sadly; she knew her cousin missed him a lot and felt guiltier every day she left him trapped there. "I think I found a way to get him out."
"But, like… He's still…" Genevieve trailed off, not knowing how to formulate her thoughts exactly.
"Yes," she responded, knowing what the girl was getting at. "A flesh Acheron. But I might have a solution for that too."
Sabrina had brought the five of them through Dorian's portal to Hell with an incantation, where they landed on a cold, dark beach, coughing up the salt water that had gotten into their lungs. "Wait, so… Hell is a beach?" Harvey asked.
"The Shores of Sorrow," Sabrina whispered hauntingly.
Theo stood up and pointed out at the water. "Guys. Look. What are those?" There were tall wooden structures standing above the waves, and from them came pained groans and wails. Hands were reaching out, desperate to grab whatever would come close to them.
"They're the souls of the damned," called a deep, unfamiliar voice. The group turned their heads to look for the source, and saw a large sandcastle and someone walking out from behind it. He had blond hair and was wearing a flowing white shirt that he had left unbuttoned. "They drown as the tide rolls in. Over, and over," he said, looking out at them, "For all eternity."
"Bummer," Genevieve whispered to Roz.
"Hi," Sabrina greeted him as the group approached him. "We're looking for Lilith." He didn't respond. "Uh, Madame Satan? S-Queen of Hell?" The boy looked pointedly at her, on the verge of a smirk. "She's in Pandemonium, if you happen to know the way." He turned his head and pointed left. Sharp jaw, Genevieve thought.
"All blood flows to Pandemonium." Sure enough, there was a large rock through which blood was flowing, that seemed to turn into a path further up the beach. "Follow the blood-red road where it flows, and there you'll find the throne of Hell," he instructed, still pointing.
"Thanks," Sabrina said. He pushed his hair back from the wind blowing on the beach, smirk still present. What does he know that we don't? her cousin wondered.  "And you are?"
He seemed as if he were about to respond, but decided against it. "Never step off the road," he advised. He looked at their feet then. "It's clever you're wearing dead men's shoes. Though… any demon worth his salt can smell mortal flesh a mile away."
Genevieve's brows furrowed. "Ew." The boy glanced at her and then turned back to his project.
"Come on," Sabrina said, "Let's go." The four trailed behind her, but Genevieve stayed still for a moment. "Hey! I like your sandcastle," she called to the boy. He looked back at her, intrigued. "Bye!" she waved. He lifted a hand in return, and she was on her way.
—
The journey through hell had been… adventurous, to say the least. Between the field of crucified people beating eaten by crows, to the forest with a magical flower and a bloodthirsty tin man, to a horrific mock-high school classroom, Genevieve and the others were exhausted, scared, and ready to go back to earth. After being rescued by Lilith's helper, a man dressed in a bellhop's outfit and being seated at some hellish feast, she and Sabrina began a conversation about getting Nick out of Hell and taking care of Theo's uncle's soul as well. The Infernal Kings weren't recognizing Lilith's newfound authority, so she struck a deal with Sabrina- the throne for her boyfriend and her friend's uncle. Sabrina, of course, agreed, and the process had begun.
—
"Infernal court, I bid you welcome," Lilith greeted from the throne. The three demonic kings stood before her in wait. "The city of Pandemonium has an honored guest. May I present to the hordes, Sabrina Morningstar, daughter of Lucifer Morningstar." Sabrina walked to stand next to the woman and looked around the throne room. "In his absence, she has come to officially declare me Queen of Hell. Isn't that right, Sabrina?"
"Yes, that's right," she told them.
"This is treason! Heresy!" the Kings protested. "Lilith is a concubine, not a queen. We do not recognize her. She was Lucifer's whore. The realms are in chaos, and the Earth, the Pit, the Heavens, the Cosmos, they all reject Lilith's claim to the throne."
"And who do you propose would rule?" she shot back.
That was the million dollar question, it seemed, because the Kings got a nefarious look in their eyes. "All hail Caliban, Prince of Hell. Molded from the clay of the Pit itself, native son of the inferno, born to restore and rule our dark domain!"
"Hello again," said the supposed Prince Caliban, in yet another open top. He maintained the smug look on his face that he was wearing at their last encounter.
"Uh, hi?" Sabrina said, mildly confused.
"What is this?" Lilith questioned. "This is salvation," he told her. "Since the Dark Lord's desertion, the Nine Circles of Hell have been breaking down. I, Caliban, will restore stability and do what Lucifer failed to do… conquer the earth. Remake it as our Tenth Circle, and enslave the tribes of mortal and witch."
Before anyone else could get a word in edgewise, Genevieve spoke up. "No? You most certainly will not!" she said. He raised his eyebrows at her. "Dude. You're… you're not even a real person." Her brow furrowed. "Someone gets one good blast with a hairdryer and what happens? You dry up and crack?"
"I'm afraid that's not how it works, darling." He stepped closer. "Though you are clever for that." Yet another smirk. Smug bastard. Closer. And closer.
She glared at him. "Thanks," she deadpanned.
"You are pretty, for a mortal," he said to her. "Maybe I'll have mercy on you." He lifted a hand to beside her face and toyed with a strand of hair that had fallen out of her braid.
"Don't touch me." She slapped his hand away, and he stepped back. Sabrina and Lilith had been whispering to each other from the moment that Caliban revealed his plan. But now, she was seemingly comatic; her eyes and Nick's were both glazed over in red and they were both catatonic. But when her senses came back and her eyes returned to normal, she had adopted a newfound confidence. "No, we won't," she said to Lilith. "I am Sabrina Morningstar," she announced to the hordes, "And that throne is mine. By blood, and by birth."
"Here we go again," Harvey muttered. Genevieve chuckled.
"Yours to give me, you mean," Lilith interjected.
"No. Mine. To claim." She sat on the throne herself, and her cousin had to admit that she looked rather regal.
"We do not accept this!" the Kings argued. "The witch lives on Earth. She cannot possibly rule Hell."
"You've obviously never been to high school."
"You are a child, not a queen," another King shot.
"I am a young woman." Right on, her cousin thought.
"You cannot fulfill your father's duties." "I can," she insisted, looking at Lilith. "With Lilith as my advisor." "What?" "Isn't that what kings and queens do when they're too young to rule?" she argued. "They appoint a…" "Regent," Lilith offered. "Yes. As a matter of fact, yes." "Then you, Lilith, are my regent."
"I dispute this." Caliban, of course.
"Okay, Dirt-Man," Genevieve said. She had begun to harbor a deeply personal sense of loathing for him, especially because of how he disrespected her cousin's authority and was a raging narcissist.
After an attempted challenge for the crown, Sabrina dismissed the court and he and his clique left Pandemonium. She and the rest of the group, along with Nick and his tongue, followed Dorian's instructions and used the flower and the incantation to return home.
—
Sabrina had royally fucked up— no pun intended. After fumbling her first soul retrieval and getting locked in an industrial freezer by her second, she was beginning to lose hope. And she was running out of time. While Lilith was out searching for the wayward queen, the clay prince decided to go on his own adventure.
—
Genevieve was occupied in her cozy, bright room when a gust of spiraling flames interrupted her peace. She had been lying in her bed, reading a book and accompanied by all of her pets (which was a rare occurrence). Pico had nestled onto Tuck's shell and they were both napping. Bambi was curled up against her side and Tex at her feet, and the new snake— whose name, she decided, was Rhiannon— was also curled at the end of the bed. "Quite the companions you've got," he spoke deeply, disturbing the silence. "You!" she said, sitting up and starting all but the python. "What are you doing in my room?" she asked, exasperated.
"Here to see you, of course," he told her, sitting down on the edge of her bed. Genevieve
was still perplexed.
"...Why?"
"You amuse me, mortal. And you've caught my eye. Your friend may be the Queen of Hell—"
"Cousin," she corrected.
"Your cousin may be Queen, but it's you who's really captured my attention."
"I… Okay," she responded, brows furrowed.
"No one's ever spoken to me as boldly as you have. Especially for a mortal. If I wanted to punish you, in fact, it would be well within my rights. Even your cousin could not do anything about it; laws in Hell differ than on Earth."
"So, what. You're here to kill me? Because I threatened your ego?" Genevieve rolled her eyes and got up, Bambi following after her. She grabbed Rhiannon and carried her over to her tank, flipping the switch for her heater and closing the lid. She then grabbed Tuck, as gently as possible to allow him to keep napping, and put him in his tank as well.
"Of course not," he chuckled. "You're much too interesting. It would be a shame for your potential to go to waste." "Potential," she said, disinterested. Walking to her door, she slipped on a pair of shoes that sat against the wall. "For?"
"For you to align with me. You may not like me much now, but I'm sure you'll grow to."
"For me… I'm sorry, what? You expect me to betray my cousin for someone who wants to literally enslave my people and take over the Earth?" He said nothing. "No!" she waved her hand at him, signaling for him to leave. "Be gone. Or... whatever you say to banish demons." She left her room and headed down the hallway and to the stairs, but Caliban was not far behind. Neither was Bambi.
She made a pit stop in the kitchen to make herself a sandwich before she left the house. "Do you think me unreasonable?" Caliban asked, leaning against the counter while she worked.
"Well, yeah. Actually I do."
He grabbed her hand before she could continue. Making sure to never break eye contact, he pleaded, "Please. Let me prove you wrong." She pulled her hand away.
"Why are you so dead set on this?" she groaned. "I said no!" A frustrated laugh left her lips.
"I'll make you a deal," he pressed. She returned her attention to her sandwich and refused to look at him. "Submit to me, and I will abandon my plan to enslave the tribes of Earth." Still, silence. Genevieve pretended that he wasn't even there anymore, slipping Bambi a piece of turkey in between the two of them. Once again, Caliban brought his hand up and grabbed her chin; she couldn't turn away.
"You won't get the chance," she spat. "My cousin is the Queen. Your plan will never happen." He opened his mouth to argue, but in a split second, decided against it.
"If that's truly how you feel, then I concede. But know my offer still stands." Genevieve shrugged, straight-faced, unsure how to respond.
"Will you leave now? I have somewhere to be," she told him, putting her sandwich in a baggie and walking to the kitchen table where a backpack was hanging off the back of a chair.
"Will the lady allow me to escort her?" he countered. She threw her food, a water bottle, and a sports drink into the bag as she considered it.
"Fine, I guess." She slung the backpack over her shoulder before kneeling down to scratch and kiss Bambi's head. "Bye, Bambi!" she said, her voice having gone up at least an octave. The blue pit thumped her tail and opened her mouth in a typical pit bull smile. Without a word, she stood up and passed Caliban to go retrieve her sneakers which were sitting by the front door. He followed, attentive to her every move. She locked the door behind her on her way out and began walking into town.
"Where are you headed to?" he asked her.
"The gym. I coach junior high volleyball."
"Is that a mortal sport?"
"Yeah. I played for a long time."
"Why did you stop?"
Genevieve stayed silent for a beat. "When I was still in high school, a few colleges wanted to recruit me for their teams. I would have gone to any of them, but…"
"But what?" "Well, I don't really know what I want to do with my life. I didn't want to just up and leave my family with no plan. So after I graduated this spring, I decided to take a gap year to figure out what I want to do."
"Have you figured it out yet?" he asked. His tone seemed genuinely interested.
She stayed quiet for a while longer. "No," Genevieve admitted, dejectedly.
"Maybe you should work with animals," Caliban offered. "Really? Why?"
"You seem to like them enough, you've got several as pets."
"Yeah, that's fair. But I don't think I could ever be a vet," she claimed.
"Then don't. Try something else."
"Like what?"
"You're the mortal here, not me," he chuckled. "You know more about your options than I do." Genevieve let out a little laugh as well. "Think about it," he advised her.
"I will. Thank you, Caliban."
—
Sabrina didn't return home until well past midnight. As she walked through the front door and quietly closed it, her cousin broke her silence from the stairs. "Where you been, Beans?"
Sabrina nearly jumped, startled. "I was— Oh, Aunties," she muttered, finally facing all three of them.
"Well, do you care to explain yourself?" Zelda questioned. Sabrina glanced at Genevieve, who was leaning over the top of the banister and mouthed I didn't say anything.
"Oh, I'm sorry I missed your first day at the Academy," she apologized. "I had this prob-"
"How many secrets are you keeping from us?" Zelda interrupted.
Hilda piped up in typical good-cop fashion. "You didn't happen to go to Hell, bring back your father, the Dark Lord, and stick him in the bowels of the Academy without telling us, did you?"
"Putting what's left of the coven, not to mention the entire world, in grave peril, just so you can see your boyfriend."
"That's not why I did it," Sabrina argued.
"Oh, God. Here we go again," Genevieve muttered as Tex jumped up onto the bannister beside her. She gave his head an absent-minded scratch as she watched the scene unfold.
"Oh, I know why you did it. Cassius delivered a stack of books with rituals about soul transference… I thought the Dark Lord was bad. I thought he was dangerous, but Lilith preserve up from his demented, lovesick daughter."
"Aunt Zelda!" Genevieve shouted. "That was so uncalled for!"
"I couldn't just leave Nick in Hell!" Sabrina defended herself. "Every second he was down there, he was in torment. Aunties, every second he was in pain."
"We know, darling," Hilda tried to comfort.
"And it's my fault." Her cousin began to tear up with the thought of Nick's suffering. "He did it for me. I couldn't just… wash my hands of him." Hilda stepped off of the stairs and went to Sabrina to try to comfort her. "I owed it to Nick to at least try and get Lucifer out of his body and into someone else's."
Zelda had begun to abandon her condemnation of Sabrina's actions, instead demanding that she come up with a well thought-out plan. "Whose? Where do you expect to find another vessel strong enough to withstand being turned into a flesh Acheron for the Devil himself?"
In a moment of perfect timing, Ambrose and Prudence appeared in the front hallway with a raggedy, bearded man at their feet. "Aunties," he greeted. "I'm home." It was evident in his tone and lack of breath that he was exhausted. "Any chance of a cuppa?"
Genevieve went downstairs and followed her cousin and Prudence into the kitchen. 'Whatcha want, 'Bose?"
"Something to help me sleep, finally," he rasped. "Thank you, cousin." (They weren't really cousins, but it was how they had referred to each other since Genevieve had come to live with them those 8 years ago.)
"You too?" she asked Prudence. "Yes, please."
—
The next night, Sabrina returned home and immediately headed to Genevieve's room to de-stress from her arduous day. "That jerk Caliban challenged me for the throne," she sighed, laying down on Genevieve's bed. "Again. Legally, this time. And I had to accept it."
Her cousin took a deep breath. "Wow. He's really not letting it go, huh?"
"No. I wish he would, though."
"Well, what was the challenge? What do you have to do?"
"We're both supposed to search for the Unholy Regalia. It's a Hell thing," she explained at Genevieve's confusion. "The first item is Herod's Crown."
"H- King Herod? Like 'kill the babies' Herod?"
"That's the one."
"Jesus," Genevieve exhaled. "...No pun intended." She had been sitting on the floor with Rhiannon, watching as she explored the room, but stood up to sit next to her cousin. "Beans, you've got a lot on your plate right now. Are you sure you're gonna be okay?"
Sabrina considered her question for a moment. "No. Actually, I'm not sure. But I have to do this." She shut her eyes tight for a few seconds before opening them again and sitting upright. "And I have so much homework on top of this."
"You know what? I don't have anything to do tonight. You go to bed, I'll do your homework tonight." Sabrina smiled softly at her cousin.
"Vieve, you don't have to do that—"
"I know. But I want to. You need to rest. Besides," Genevieve said, "I already got through all of those classes once. I can do a few assignments tonight."
—
It was about eleven o'clock that same night and Genevieve was on a productive streak- in terms of getting her cousin's homework taken care of. She had advised Sabrina to talk to Ambrose the following day about looking for the crown and, subsequently, the rest of the regalia. In the midst of her focus, a gust of heat hit her and she could sense a presence in her room. She didn't even bother to turn around from her desk. "Go away, Caliban."
"I take it you've heard about my challenge, then?"
Genevieve set her pencil down and stared at him. "Do you have any idea the shit Sabrina's been going through, lately? I know you don't care, because all you want is power, but she's an actual person with other responsibilities and an entire life that she's dealing with on a daily basis. You're made of clay and you're from Hell, I get it, you must not have any sense of empathy, but this is taking a toll on everyone. You are such a raging narcissist." Caliban's smirk had dissipated by now. "Get out of my house, Caliban. I'm busy."
"You're wrong," he said. He was uncharacteristically quiet. "I can be empathetic." He sat down on the edge of Genevieve's bed, and Tex had allowed him to pet his head. "I do have emotions."
"Showing them from time to time might do you good." He said nothing, focusing his attention entirely on Tex rather than making eye contact with Genevieve. "Why are you here?" she asked, adopting a gentler tone. She felt as if she had been hard enough on him to get her point across. "Don't you have a crown to find, or something?"
"I've not yet located it. I was wondering if you've considered my offer?"
"Of course not," she scoffed. "I don't think you're gonna win. Beans may be busy, but she's smart. And talented."
"Well, she is the Dark Lord's daughter."
"Regardless. No, I haven't considered it. Is that all?"
"I hear there's a carnival in town."
Her brows furrowed momentarily. "What do you care?"
"Would it please the lady to accompany me? Tomorrow night?"
Genevieve went stiff like a deer in headlights. "Um… sure, okay. I guess?"
"You seem confused," he observed.
"Yeah, I- I am. A little. Surprised. Why do you wanna go to the carnival?"
"Is this not how mortals court each other?" he asked, standing up to lean against the desk she had been working at. He seemed his usual self again, another smirk crossing his face. "Or would you rather skip the formalities?" He winked, grinning down at her. Though she was still sitting, it was obvious that he was taller than she was.
She scoffed lightly. "Fine. I will go to the carnival with you tomorrow," Genevieve conceded. "Are you done now?"
"Are you sure you wouldn't have me spend the night?" he teased.
"Don't push it, Dirt-Man."
"As you wish," he told her, and threw his arms up, creating a vortex of fire and returning to the pits of hell.
—
Genevieve finally retired to bed at about quarter till 1 in the morning. Rhiannon was cozy in her tank and Tuck was in his; Pico was sleeping in his cage and Tex was curled up at the foot of her bed. Bambi was laying with her back to Genevieve's, but the blue pit had been awoken by a sudden presence appearing in the room. In the dark, Caliban had returned once more to the girl, this time having astral projected. Bambi's head stuck up, sniffing at him. He put his finger up to his lips and whispered to the dog, "Shh." Bambi was convinced and went back to sleep, leaving the boy to himself. He walked around until he was facing her, and he knelt down at her bedside. He rested his head on one arm while his other hand brushed some stray hairs away from her face. She looked so peaceful he was almost afraid to touch her. "Sleep well, darling girl," he whispered. "And forgive me for what I must do." Without another word, he kissed her forehead and promptly returned to his physical body in Hell.

Pregnancy: A Sam Corlett Headcanon
Request from Anon: I would love a Sam x pregnant reader and him just being the purest sweetest soul.
I’m baaack! Well, sort of. Updates aren’t going to be as regular as they were back before my hiatus but at least requests are back open. Thank you guys so much for being amazing during my time off; I love all of you so much! Anyway, sorry that this has taken so long whoever requested it, and I hope it’s okay for you lovely. Enjoy x
When you find out that you’re pregnant, Sam isn’t home. He’s at work, on the other side of the world, far away from you and his future child that he doesn’t know about yet. You’re due to fly over to Vancouver in a week, but now that you’re pregnant, it seems so far away, and even though you’re so ridiculously elated that you’re going to be a parent, you can’t help but feel your heart sink, knowing that you won’t be with Sam.
You look at your phone, the latest video message Sam sent you still open on the screen. You take in his face, his green eyes that are full of love, of joy at being at his first big job. You’re so proud of him, and you just know that he’s going to be a great father.
You hit play.
“Hey beautiful, it’s me. Got a lot planned for when you get here, and I cannot wait to show you around. It’s gonna be fun, so see you there.”
There’s a small laugh that escapes his mouth at the end that makes you laugh in return. You need to tell him and so you call him.
The phone rings for what seems like an age before he answers.
“Hello?”
“Hey,” your voice is soft and instantly Sam detects that there’s something wrong. He asks exactly what and that’s when you smile. There’s nothing wrong; just hearing his voice has assured you that everything is perfect.
“There’s two of us coming to Vancouver next week.”
“You and who else?”
“Me and your baby.”
The wonder and amazement that exudes from Sam’s next words, his realisation at becoming a father, his excitement about it are enough to make you tear up. As you tell him you love him, your voice catches in your throat and for the first time in the hour since you found out that you were on your way to becoming a mum, you finally believe that nothing can go wrong, that your life couldn’t get any better even if you wanted it to.
You spend the next few months of your pregnancy in Vancouver. It wasn’t quite what you expected, spending it on a TV set, watching the father of your child turn into a Prince of Hell pretty much every day. Watching Sam fills you with enough pride to sink a battleship, if not more, and when he gives you that smile, that grin meant only for you, you can’t quite believe that he’s yours. That you’re going to spend the rest of your life with him, working together to bring a human being into the world. If this child has even half of his humility, of his morality, it will be beautiful.
Just like him. Just like you.
On the rare day off that he has, Sam caters to your every need. He takes you shopping for baby clothes and other essentials, to scans that you need to attend, or just lazes with you on the sofa, one hand tracing patterns up and down your arm, the other resting on your stomach, on your ever growing bump.
He talks to it, telling it all about its mum, about its dad, about the world that it’s going to come into, the world he assures it’s going to change. For the better.
When it’s time, you fly back to Australia before you can’t, Sam by your side. Only a few more months to go and it will no longer be just the two of you. There will be a third member of your party, but you’re not complaining. You couldn’t possibly.
The time passes in an instant and when you’re rushed into the hospital, Sam never once lets go of your hand, even when you squeeze it so hard you’re surprised you haven’t broken his bones.
He pushes your hair away from your forehead, kissing it before speaking against your skin.
“One more push, Y/N and then we get to meet our baby.”
It’s not a push, it’s a giant leap, a jump that will change both of your lives forever.
You take it together.

Bad Little Boy ~Prince Caliban Imagine~
Summary: You go to the carnival alone. When you get harassed by a couple of guys at the carnival, someone unexpectedly comes to save you from the guys.
Author’s Note: I still need more Caliban imagines.
Part One
Tumblr media
All your friends had dates to the carnival except you. You didn’t mind since you wanted to just get the junk food. You walked over to the popcorn cart before walking around at the carnival.
“Hey, Y/N,” You sighed as you turned to see a couple of the football players walking over. Paul and Winston. Both were in your math class and according to Roz, they had a crush on you.
“Hello,” You say.
“All here alone?” Paul asked you.You didn’t want to say yes because then they’ll be expecting to see you with someone. But you didn’t want to say no because they’ll ask if you want to be with them for the night.
“Well, I am just walking around to get some food before leaving. I was about to leave,” You tell the two.
“I can walk you home if you’d like,” Winston offered.
“I’m good. I just came here-”
“With me,” You heard. You looked over to see Caliban walking over to you.
“I didn’t know you were dating someone,” Winston tells you.
“Yes. Now leave us alone so I can spend time with my girlfriend,” Caliban tells them. Caliban put his arm around you making you blush a little.
“Alright fine. See you at school, Y/N,” You nodded before looking up at Caliban.
“What the hell are you doing here?” You asked in shock.
“Came to see you,” Caliban said before tucking a strand of your hair behind your ear.
“Caliban, if Sabrina finds you here, you’re going to get in trouble,” You tell him.
“Don’t worry. I put a covering spell on me,” Caliban winked.
“Why are you here for me?” You questioned.
“Because like I said, I want you to be my queen. And I want to make sure you’re okay until the time comes,” Caliban tells you.
“That’s nice of you but I don’t think I’m going to like Hell. I already went and to be honest, I don’t like it,” You tell him.
“And if I were to offer changes for you to feel more comfortable in it?” Caliban asks you.
“No. You don’t even know me. I don’t even know you besides the fact you’re the prince of Hell and that you’re made of clay,” You tell him.
“If I were to spend time with you and get to know you. Will you give me a chance and become my queen once I win the throne from Sabrina?” Caliban asks you.
“Alright. We have a deal,” You smile before offering a handshake. Caliban smiled at you before shaking your hand.
“Excuse me for a moment. I have to... win something really quickly,” Caliban tells you, still holding your hand.
“When will you be back?” You asked him.
“Tonight in your room. See you soon, beautiful,” Caliban winked before kissing your hand.
After Caliban cheating his way through the first round, he knew he couldn’t stay long.
“I must be going now anyway,” Caliban tells Sabrina.
“Why running so soon? To cheat your way on the next round?” Sabrina questioned.
“Nope. I do have a beautiful lady waiting for me though,” Caliban tells her.
“Who?”
“Your little friend and my future queen, Y/N,” Caliban smiled.
“Don’t you dare lay a finger on her,” Sabrina said.
“I won’t. Not unless she begs me to,” Caliban smirked before leaving Hell.
You lied in bed as you went on your phone. Your parents and siblings had left to go watch a movie that you weren’t interested in watching. Mainly because you were curious to know Caliban more.
That’s when you saw a small swirl of fire appear in front of you. Surprised from the sudden light, you fell onto the floor with a large thud sound.
“Ow,” You groan as you started to get up.
“Did I scare you, princess?” You heard Caliban ask.
“Yes. Please don’t do that again,” You asked nicely as you rubbed your arm a little.
“My apologies,” Caliban said.
“So now what?” You asked.
“Well, I did say that I would get to know you and spend more time with you,” Caliban said.
“Why do you want me to be queen?” You questioned.
“The moment I saw you, I was enchanted by your beauty. Then when you gave me that broken shell, I will admit that I did laugh but thought to myself, why not have a good little girl as my queen?” Caliban said as he looked down at you.
“I can be bad,” You scoffed. Caliban raised his eyebrow a little.
“Oh yeah? Prove it,” Caliban said. You thought of all the things you could do but you knew you wouldn’t be able to do it without feeling guilty later on.
“Okay you slightly got me there,” You tell him. Caliban smirked at you a little which made you blush a little.
“What else would you like to know?” Caliban asks you.
The whole night, you and Caliban got to know each other. Mainly Caliban getting to know you more. Up until you started to feel sleepy. You lied on your bed with Caliban next to you.
“You should sleep. You need your rest,” Caliban tells you.
“Okay,” You tell him.
“I’ll come see you tomorrow,” Caliban tells you before kissing your cheek.
“Promise?” You asked him.
“I promise,” Caliban says.

flirting // sam corlett
anonymous: Would I be able to make a request for Caliban for the prompt "I'm not moving, your lap is comfortable" ? If not that's totally fine! You got other things to do so I understand
@caliban-is-my-girl Hey:) can you write a sam corlett x reader where you're backstage and he has a crush on y/n and always trys to flirt or grab your attention somehow? ^^ Thank you!
Tumblr media
“Wow, Sam. I almost didn’t recognize you with your shirt on.” You joked as Sam walked into the wardrobe trailer. He was wearing sweats and a t-shirt, clearly not meant to be on set today.
“Want me to take it off?” He asked, winking playfully at you. You rolled your eyes, laughing with the wonderful ladies in wardrobe. He made his way over to the empty chair next to where you stood in front of the mirrors.
“What are you doing here?” You asked as he plopped down in the chair.
“I need to try on another loin cloth apparently. ” He took a second to look over your costume for an upcoming scene — a free flowing white lace dress bits being a little more sheer than the other, showing off your blue bralette.
Sam has had a giant crush on you since the first scene the two of you filmed together. He loved your energy and of course you were gorgeous as well. He found himself looking for you whenever he’d come on set. Constantly wanted to be around you. He was drawn to you. The rest of the cast knew, mostly because he never shuts up about you, but because it’s pretty obvious. You, on the other hand, just pass it off as him being nice. Which he was, but there’s an underlying message in everything he says to you.
“I’ll see you later, Sammy!” His heart fluttered at the sound of the nickname you gave him. He waved bye to you as you walked out of the trailer, heading to where you’d be filming.
“When are you actually going to buck up the courage and ask her to dinner?” Mary asked as she handed him the loin cloth for him to try on.
“Not you too.” He whined, taking the item from her and disappearing behind the curtain.
The next day you were sitting on the bed next to Kiernan looking over lines for your next scene together. It was a slow day on set. A rarity for the show considering how fast the seasons are pushed out.
“Hello, ladies. Come here often?” Sam asked as he plopped down on the bed next to you.
“Well, i do work here so I’m gonna have to go with yes.” You joked. Kiernan and you continued to run through lines as Sam made himself comfortable, laying his head on your lap while you subconsciously played with his hair.
Soon everyone had come into the room to film the scene, making you lightly pat Sam’s head to get him to move so you can go to your mark.
“I’m not moving. Your lap is comfortable.” He said, his eyes still closed as he snuggled deeper into the bed.
“Sorry, lover boy. You’re going to have to.” Kiernan smacked him with her script, getting off the bed to go to her mark. Sam shot Kiernan a look before reluctantly getting off the bed and walking behind all the crew to allow you guys to film. A slight pout on his face.
