9 and 14 for the Descendants asks
9. Favorite Auradon Kid?
I forget her name now but I really like Mulan's kid. Lonnie? I think she's really cute and fun and definitely under-utilized.
I also really like Audrey. Top ten girls who need therapy and a hug but I mean in the absence of that a magical staff will do. She can fuck up Auradon if she wants to I support women's wrongs
14. A headcanon you may have?
Evie is an ace lesbian! She's in love with Mal.
Um, let me see, what else...oh! Dr. Facilier isn't "redeemed", exactly, but he's cooled off a lot since he had Celia. He and Tiana have a kind of mutual rivalry/respect thing going on. He doesn't resent her since petitioning to bring him back to life got him out of the hands of the Friends On The Other Side.
Also sidenote, I've been reading about the Lwa recently and they're really interesting, it really annoys me Baron Samedi is always a villain/villains are based on Baron Samedi because he seems like he's supposed to be a lot of fun. And like, not exactly chill, but not a Creepy Evil Figure like people portray him as. I would party with Baron Samedi ngl
#descendants#disney descendants#asks#humaudrey#ofc we know why people are always portraying the Lwa as creepy and evil 😒#I'm kinda glad Descendants!Facilier is calmed down#idk it's more interesting#I feel like you could really get into his motivations in an interesting way#this is not even descendants hcs anymore sbsbsnks. I just like Dr. Facilier send tweet#I say I would party with him but I am man enough to admit I probably couldn't handle the Baron's parties#salutes him. he's interesting. I wanna read more about him but I don't know where to start

Shadow and Bone spoilers - random thoughts from my notes (e1)
They matched Alina and Mal's outfits on the ship and that's cute. Alina's dress is gorgeous too. I'm very into the embroidered neckline.
Did they film this at the actual Ellis Island? It looks like it.
Alina's freckles are adorable and I'm happy to see them.
I'm liking the movable map version of showing us where things are. Wish they'd give us a tiny bit more context for the overall map though.
Baby Kaz is cute and I like him. Genuinely can't believe the Stadwatch thought they'd be able to take all three of them.
LMFAO about this fanart of Darklina wanted poster.
They're leaning hard on the "there is only one bed" trope as if the two of them didn't book the room off screen. Also the dialogue is literally ripped from a fanfic.
I'll never be a Malina shipper but show Malina is pretty cute. Like, they're nice to each other and sweet and I think my care for the actors is taking over my opinion of them a little.
Quoted literally from my notes here: "Give the people what they want fuckers, I wanna see Ben"
Durast!Jesper is everything to me and I am in love with this storyline. However, if he could make a key out of a coin why couldn't he undo the cuffs? Later in the season they mention that Durasts can control all metal, surely those cuffs aren't made of plastic or smtg. I wanna know the rules here.
"Like calls to like" - nice, iconic, happy to hear it.
I am very into the traditional African outfits for the Zemeni. But I am very conscious of being a white person so I'd be interested to read what someone who's POC would think of them.
Calling being Grisha a blessing, thank god we finally get some Grisha who are actually having a good time. Literally all other Grisha we've met until this point have been just suffering.
Endlessly funny to me that this wanted poster of Alina has a realistic image of her but people throughout the show continue to not recognize her on sight.
I am liking the increased action. I can see Archie's stunt double sometimes but he's doing a decent amount of the running and fighting himself. Mal is also just funnier and quippier this season and I like it. Is it racist to say I'm getting Aladdin vibes from him rolling back under the table and paying the dude while running from the police? Also pleased they're doing a callback to the fact that we did see Mal fighting in episode one of season one.
The sun saint salute. Excellent, well coordinated, we love to see it.
That photo negative wanted poster of the crows is hilariously creepy.
Love me some Inej just nicking knives but I'm surprised she hasn't had some on her already. Did she seriously use all of them in the Fold? I don't think we saw that.
The whole "say Inej every five minutes" thing is back haha.
Quoted literally from my notes here: "Pekka says fuck the police I guess"
"Funny guns and angry hat" are now my names for Jesper and Kaz.
Oof Hellgate looks awful.
"Valiant of you but I bet they printed more than one" - cuties
"First army needs to know its place" - yeah get fucked
Quoted literally from my notes here: "It ain't the Volcra dumbass. Get it Sasha"
Why do the Nichevo'ya look like the transformed Tyrant from RE2?
"This again" - fuck me up that is a tragic thing to say.
"I shall have to overthrow the king now" yeah you do that my man.

"Well, better late than never, I suppose,"
He wasn't too worried about it, the letter itself was merely him letting Kaeya know that he was on his way to visit Mondstadt and that he'd be there in the coming days. It had been sent prior to his departure from Inazuma to Liyue, and then he'd made his way to the nation of freedom via a map he'd gotten from a friend so he could avoid the mountain known as Dragonspine.
"Sunset, got it, so ya want me to wait for ya at Angel's Share around that time, then? I can do that I saw the place earlier."
He didn't mind waiting, after all, his friend was quite busy working. He didn't expect the other to drop things and just hang out with him, obviously. He knew better than to assume such things. After all, the other hadn't tried to stop him from doing his commissions in Inazuma when he was there. It was only fair he gave the same treatment to Kaeya. He'd make note of the mention of a 'grumpy-looking redhead' should that gentleman be bartending during the evening. He wasn't sure why but the idea that someone's face was frozen into a perpetual scowl made him snort.
"Alright, well, I'll take ya up on that offer then. Maybe I can cook breakfast in the mornin' or somethin' I ain't sure how long I'll be here and I wanna make sure I don't overstay my welcome, so I might look into commissions since I'm registered with the Guild."
He'd nod as he got up from where he'd been seated, though he was confused, what did they do with their dishes, just leave them there? His confusion would be evident upon his face as he looked toward Kaeya who was now offering to take him to the library. He just hoped that leaving the dishes wasn't frowned upon in Mondstadt. He'd dust himself off and step to stand next to the other male.
"Alright, well, I'm ready to get to the library. Honestly, I'm lookin forward to seein' what kinds of books ya have here."
He wouldn't mind the other showing him around the entirety of the city at some point, whenever the other had the time to do so, of course. He wasn't going to just expect that from him. If Kaeya had the time to show him around more then he'd happily take the other up on the offer, otherwise? He was fine learning on his own to some extent. He'd seen the cathedral in the distance when he was coming into the city before, the building looked very impressive.
"Yeah, the architecture here is pretty different than back home but it's nice to see too. Like Liyue is different than Inazuma too. I think every nation has its own sorta architecture and it makes me wanna do more travelin' at some point."
He wanted to see how the various nations differed from one another too. He'd not gotten a bad welcome to Mondstadt though being stopped at the gate by the guards had been interesting, at the very least. It hadn't been because of his appearance, which was a first for him. At least his Adventurer's Guild manual had helped him out there. Showing he wasn't a threat. He wasn't aware of how many times the nation had been attacked by the Abyss Order though.
"I don't think I've seen Springvale yet. If it's close by I could always go see it at some point before I go home."
Knowing that there were hunters both of the variety that likely caught animals for meat, and those who went after treasure wasn't surprising to him. Not at all. Every nation had treasure hunters to some extent. They dealt with a lot of them in Inazuma but they were easy to knock out. As he was escorted to the library he'd watch as the two guards outside the building he was taken to saluted Kaeya. He wouldn't be bothered by their stares if they had. There was no reason for him to react not everyone had ever seen someone his size before, so their reaction was a normal one.
"Well, I don't intend on checkin' any books out, I'll just find one of the tables ya mentioned and read there. I'll be sure to remember where I pluck any book from and return 'em to their proper places. If I see the librarian I might ask her for some pointers on what books she'd recommend an outlander to read."
He'd already lowered his voice so it wasn't carrying, which may or may not surprise Kaeya, he was always so animated. Yet inside the library he seemed to know that being quiet was a rule that needed to be followed no matter what. He'd also be sure not to damage any of the books. Making someone angry wasn't something he wanted to do, especially in a nation he wasn't familiar with.
"So stay quiet, don't damage the books, and return 'em on time. Easy enough rules to follow. I'm good at bein' careful with books, I even have some really old ones at my place in Inazuma, might need to show ya sometime."
“Don’t worry too much about the letter. I’ll get it within the coming days, I assure you,” Kaeya stated with a smile all-too-knowing. He wasn’t very worried about the situation, hence his aloof yet confident demeanor. He knows it’s important to find the letter as soon as possible, which he’s sure he’ll be able to do just that.
As Itto mentioned he doesn’t have any lodgings, after all, the Captain hummed in acknowledgement. It’s nothing surprising, considering the Goth Grand Hotel is used solely by the Fatui, and not many would really go out of their way to see if there was any vacancy in Springvale. Technically, there is a small room up in the Angel’s Tavern as well, but Kaeya would rather have the Oni take temporary residence with him rather than his brother’s workplace. It can get rowdy at night, anyway.
“I’ll be heading back here around sunset, so seven in the evening is when you should expect me at the latest. If a grumpy-looking redhead is bartending tonight, don’t worry about him. His face is just frozen that way,” Kaeya stated with an amused smirk. “I assure you that you’re more than welcome to stay with me during your time here in Mondstadt. It’s not like I have to worry about roommates or anything, so there will be plenty of space for the both of us.
I know you didn’t offer me lodgings in Inazuma expecting me to repay you, but I would still like to in some way. So, if you’re okay with sharing a space with me again, then I am, too.”
Once he noted that the Oni was done eating as well, he smiled and looked towards Sara, offering her a wave to let her know they were all done. “Come on, I’ll take you to the Ordo’s library where you can read to your heart’s content before I head off on patrol.”
Whenever the Oni stood up to follow, Kaeya guided him from the city’s square and all the way up the steps in the direction of the Cathedral before taking a left. While he did so, he was more than happy to become the tour guide he said he’d be for Itto. “Much of the city’s architecture is very Gothic, as you can see. The folks take care of their buildings very well, and we make sure to keep up maintenance on any old stonework and framework to reinforce the integrity of it all. In the villages outside of the city, you’ll find that everything else appears more modernized yet classic nonetheless. Mondstadt is home to hunters of all kind, especially in Springvale. Of course, though, this unfortunately includes treasure hunters, as every other nation has, but they’re not difficult to deal with.”
As they approached the Favonius’s headquarters, Kaeya gave a small greeting towards Porthos and Athos by inclining his head, which in turn gave him salutes. However, they were definitely taken aback by the giant man that the Cavalry Captain was escorting, yet quickly remembered themselves and their post. Heading inside the building, he went to the first door on the right, gave Wyratt a greeting, then entered the library.
With a smile, he gave a grand, dramatic gesture with his arms to show off the room before spinning on his heel to face Itto. “Here we are. There are two floors to this place, lots of tables for you to sit at, and as you can see, plenty of material to read on. Of course, the library has a few rules. One, be sure to keep quiet. Two, do not damage the books. Three, remember to return your books on time. The third one is especially important, my friend, so be sure to abide by it—or else, I fear our dear librarian won’t give even a guest any leeway.
So, if you’d rather not risk her ire, which may I say is absolutely harrowing, just stick to the rules. Any questions before I head out?”

hiya!! I kind of have a very specific headcannons request if that’s ok! :,)
so I pole dance and sometimes we have open pole nights where we can bring a friend or s/o, and I was wondering if you could write about the reader asking Dante (who had no idea they even did pole) to come along to one of these events bc they have no one else to ask? maybe the reader has a crush on him too bwahaha
sorry for the long request, figure I’d add as much detail as I could. thank you so much! :)
Of course! And honestly the more detail, the better! I hope I did this justice :)
-
You've been friends with Dante for a while. While sometimes you wish the two of you were more than that, you've realized that you don't actually know that much about each other. You knew he had a weird job, he claims to be a plumber and you don't really buy it, but you never push him on it. In return, he doesn't ask you too many personal questions, though he's always happy to listen should you happen to get on that topic.
Tonight you're having an open pole night, while you want to invite Dante, it's dawned on you that you've never really told him about your job. You know he'd never judge you so actually asking isn't really the hard part here, it's more your intent. You've been wanting to pursue the man for a while and you figure that sharing this part of your life would be a good step forward.
You find that it is when you finally send the text.
Hey, so it's open pole night. Was wondering if you'd wanna swing by? Totally cool if not :)
He's quick to respond: You never told me you were a dancer, sunshine ;). Yeah, I'll come by, should be free tonight.
You can't help the smile that tugs at your lips as you read the message and the stupid sticker he sends that says "TOTALLY!". You send him the details before putting your phone down to get ready for tonight.
You plan out your outfit for the night, opting for your favorite. If Dante was going to be there, you figure that you should look your best. You do find yourself getting nervous as the time gets closer. What if he blows you off? Or what if he's just not into it? No, you know him better than that. He's too sweet to flake and he's always been interested in you and therefore what you like to do. You're sure he knows this is important to you. He'll show up.
A few hours later and it's time for you to go on stage. Before your set, you peek out in the crowd, looking for the man of the hour. You breathe a sigh of relief as you spot a flash of white hair in the corner. Dante is nursing what’s likely a double-shot of whiskey, intently looking at the stage with a lazy smirk on his face. You know he sees you somehow when he does his two-finger salute towards you before turning his gaze away. It calms your nerves a bit to know that he’s here watching, mostly because he didn’t stand you up.
You do your set flawlessly, the audience watching in awe as your body moves fluidly around the pole. It’s a second nature at this point, your body nearly doing it on auto-pilot. You spare a glance at Dante as you spin, a smile gracing your features as you see his. He’s visibly impressed, smirk never leaving his face nor his eyes leaving you as he takes a sip of his drink. You always take pleasure in the fact that the audience watches you so intently, but you can’t help the blush dusting your features under Dante’s appreciative gaze.
It’s about twenty minutes before your set is finished and you’re backstage again, dressing down a bit to be more comfortable. Your phone goes off as Dante texts you, telling you that he’ll meet you outside. You raise an eyebrow at that but don’t think much of it as you grab your bag and walk out the door. You almost miss him entirely in the dark until you hear his voice behind you.
“You were pretty amazing tonight, I gotta say. How come you never told me you do this?”
You smile at that as you turn to face him. He’s leaning against the wall with his arms crossed, the guitar that he usually carries around resting against the wall near his feet.
“You never asked. Plus, you’re pretty evasive about your job.”
Your tone is teasing as you walk up to him, a smile tugging at your lips. His expression matches yours as he looks down at you fondly. He just looks at you for a moment and you almost shrink away from the tension in his gaze.
“Well, ya got me there, sweetheart. Wanna go get pizza or something? You must be about to starve after all that.”
He’s taking a few steps towards you before draping an arm around your shoulders, looking down at you, though he doesn’t bother to wait for an answer as he’s grabbing his guitar case and guiding you down the street.
#i have never stepped foot in a club so i hope this isn't too bad#devil may cry#dante sparda#dante x reader#i pictured anime dante for this idk fdksjlf

disclaimer again!! i wrote this a long time ago. i know there are things that need to be fixed and things that don’t fit right. i plan to edit this story more in the future but today is not that day :)
You took a shaky breath in as you stopped midway of putting a clean sheet on the bed Mikasa would be sleeping in. The room still had some of her old stuff in it, it's just no one ever came in here after she left. You looked around at all the items she left behind. Smiling fondly at an old picture of you two, you noticed a small figure crossed out in the background. Glancing at the rest of the photos on the shelf, you noticed that every photo had something crossed out.
After looking at each picture, you came to the conclusion the figure was Jean. She must have only taken the photos without him and did this to the rest. You frowned and walked back to the bed. Carefully, you climbed onto it and propped a few pillows up to support you as you leaned back.
For the first time in two years, you got a good look around the room. On the side of the room with the door, there was a large glass window overlooking the balcony above the living room. You always found it strange that she chose a room like that when she usually kept those blinds shut. Her bed was in the middle of the room with a tv mounted on the wall across from it. On the other side of her bed, there were a couple of bean bags below the bay window that looked out on the driveway.
You sighed and took out your phone, pulling up old texts with Mikasa. The last time you texted her was three months ago when you got too drunk at one of Reiner's ragers.
mikasa
mikasas pleasdse
come home
i miss you
i miss you so much
we all miss you so much
come home to me.
She didn't respond to that and you wouldn't know if she even looked at it. She turned her read receipts off for everyone after the first week of trying to contact her. The only time she had ever contacted anyone was two weeks after she left the house.
Don't look for me. Don't contact me.
You got a lot of your friends asking if you got the same message. She sent the same thing to everyone who tried to get in contact with her. You still didn't know where she was or what she was doing. The only thing you knew was that she was coming home the next day. You sighed. Suddenly, you didn't feel like cleaning anything else. You briskly walked out of her room and dialed the number of your best friend.
"Hey, Y/n! What's going on?" Sasha's cheery voice rang through the line.
"Hey hey, Sasha. I'm doing great. At least, I think I am. Do you wanna go somewhere? You can pick me up? Or I can pick you up if you like."
"I'll come to pick you up, honey bunny, don't you worry." You heard her struggling with her keys on the other side of the line and snorted at the noise.
"Need some help, Sash?" You grinned while skipping steps.
"Fine, thanks." She grumbled. "I'll be there in fifteen! You stay put!" She briskly hung up.
Sasha had been your best friend ever since Eren's nineteenth birthday party. She caught you and Eren coming back inside just as she was about to leave, with half the pantry in her arms. She asked for your number to make plans to hang out and chat sometime. You happily obliged, which was probably the happiest thing you had done that night.
You tossed your phone onto your bed as you walked into your room. Your room was on the first floor. You got first pick since you were the one who inherited the house. The house was big and beautiful. It was also on a lake. Perfect for the parties Eren and Jean loved to host. Perfect escape from paparazzi.
Your room had big glass doors that opened to the balcony that wrapped around the back of the house. You had a great view of the lake. The room was painted white. There was a black marble fireplace in one wall with a small wardrobe you used for storing memorable items to the band. You didn't need to use it for clothes since you had a walk-in closet in the big bathroom you partly shared with your bandmates. Jean liked to use the large bathtub.
You collapsed onto the bed and stared into the vanity mirror next to it. It was then when you realized you were still in your pajamas. "Oh shit." Your eyes widened as you hurriedly stumbled over to the closet, falling over once.
You grabbed a pair of baggy sweats and a big t-shirt. With duck socks, of course. The outfit didn't look much different than your pajamas but Sasha would probably be wearing something similar.
You threw your hair into the easiest hairstyle you could muster. You grabbed your boots and hopped up and down while trying to put them on while also leaving the room. "Jesus." You muttered.
Your phone vibrated, signaling that Sasha was here. "I'm heading out with Sasha! You're on your lonesome!" You called out to wherever Armin was in the house.
"Okay! Don't be back too late!" He shouted back.
You laughed aloud as you realized how much he sounded like a dad. You opened the front door and ran to Sasha's car. "Let me in!" You knocked on the passenger window as she reached around to find the button that unlocks the door. Once it was unlocked, you swung open the door and hopped inside.
"Nice outfit," was the first thing she said to you. You glanced at her outfit and scoffed. Your predictions were correct, she was wearing something similar.
"Gee, thanks." You gave a lopsided smile and rolled your eyes.
"Where to, honey bunny?" Sasha said, giving a mock salute while her other hand rested firmly on the steering wheel. You giggled and thought about it. You called her on such a whim that you forgot to even plan anything.
"Uh how about Brain Freezes? I could really use a catch-up with Connie right about now." You suggested.
"That sounds like a great idea! Turns out you do have a brain up there." Sasha snickered.
"Oh good one, because you're the real genius here, clearly."
After a lot of lighthearted banter, you arrived at Connie's workplace. Sasha aggressively grabbed the door handle and slammed it open, causing the bell to fall off its perch and land on your face. "Oops." You grimaced and bent down to pick up the bell. You rang it in front of her face.
"Sasha! Y/n! My two favorite customers!" Connie jumped up and down on the other side of the counter. "How can I assist you ladies today?"
"I'll have the usual." You gave a half-hearted smile, head still impaired from the bell. Sasha had quite the habit of accidentally hurting you.
Sasha snatched the bell from your grasp and started ringing it. She announced her very long order that you could barely keep up with, but Connie was used to this kind of thing, especially with her.
You noticed one of his coworkers scowling at Sasha. You didn't like Floch, to say the least. He was always inviting himself to your parties but he was rude to all of your friends at the same time. He noticed your gaze and smirked.
He strutted over to where you stood, pretending to become very interested in toppings. "How are you, Y/n? It's been a while huh?" He leaned over your shoulder in a way that workers shouldn't with their customers. You made a hasty effort to slip away from his presence.
"It really hasn't. I came here last week. I come here every week and you say that every time." You usually tried to be nice to Floch, but today you didn't feel like being nice.
"Well, even a day without you feels like an eternity." He flirted horridly. You stared blankly at him until he awkwardly cleared his throat and traded spots with Connie at the register.
Connie took off his apron and handed you and Sasha your orders. "Sorry about him. That guy really can't take a hint even if it's right in front of his face." He shot Floch a venomous glare. "Luckily, you guys got here right as my shift ended! Wanna get out of here?" His previous anger seemed to dissipate in an instant.
"Yeah, I do! Where should we go?" Sasha beamed with her spoon still in her mouth.
"Can we just drive around? I've got something I wanna tell you guys." You played with your spoon in the ice cream, averting eye contact.
"Sure thing, Y/n. Let's go." Sasha and Connie said in unison.
Sasha let you drive her car since she was preoccupied with her mountain of ice cream. Connie didn't have a car, he failed his driver's test every time he took it. You'd think he'd learn most of the material by now. "Hey, Y/n?" He asked from the backseat.
"Yeah?" You nodded to him.
"Are you gonna finish that?" He said, referring to your cup of ice cream in the front cupholder. You sighed.
"Go ahead." He thanked you over and over as he leaned over and snatched it.
"So, Y/n? What was it you wanted to tell us?" Sasha wiped her hands on her pants and set the empty container in an extra cupholder.
You gripped the steering wheel harder then relaxed. You took a shaky breath in. "Mikasa is coming home tomorrow."
Connie started choking on your ice cream. "I know, I had the same reaction." You quipped.
"Mikasa..is...WHAT?" Connie managed between coughs.
"After all this time? It's been two years. Tomorrow? That's so sudden! Are you even ready to see her?" Sasha's mouth was gaping open. You leaned over and shut it for her.
"Yes, tomorrow. I still have to get the house ready. I couldn't even make it through her old room without calling you. Jean told us this morning. I don't think we should be worried about me being ready to see her. I think we should be more concerned about her and Jean." You informed. "But, then again, she told Jean about her return first. Plus he's picking her up tomorrow at the airport. So based on that, I think they're on better terms."
"You don't think they'll get back together, do you?" Connie said, his eyebrows furrowing.
You snorted. "Of course not. You know Jean is with Marco now, and he seems pretty happy with him. They've been together for two years now, probably longer if I'm being honest."
"Then what do you have to worry about?" Sasha asked, confused.
"Are you joking? I mean, what if she has found someone? What then? What if she quits the band forever? What if we argue? She dropped off the map two years ago. Completely. She stopped responding to me, to all of us. For two years I thought she lost her interest in everything and went to live a new life, with people better than me. And now she's coming back, out of the blue! It's too much." You stressed.
Connie and Sasha made quick eye contact. "Y/n, I think you're reading too far into it. I doubt anyone could lose interest in you. You're too cool! Let's look on the bright side, she's ready to come home and you finally get to see her again," Sasha said in an attempt to lift your spirits. You smiled graciously. You really were lucky to have a friend like her. "Right, Connie?" She gestured to Connie who looked very deep in thought.
"Didn't you and Mikasa go out in high school?" You almost crashed the car from the shock of the question.
"Briefly, yes. But we weren't 'going out' so to speak. We just, like, made out a couple of times." You could feel your face grow hot at the subject. You thought you were over your crush on Mikasa, but after hearing that she was coming home, the familiar feeling was coming back.
"You're going red, Y/n. I think it was more to you than just a make-out." Connie grinned while Sasha wiggled her eyebrows.
"You're totally in love with Mikasa!" Sasha sang.
"Shut up, you two. I don't wanna get into the details right now." You couldn't even try to hide your heated face since you were the one driving the vehicle.
"Not right now? So maybe somewhere down the line, you will?" Sasha raised her eyebrows and broke out into another infectious grin.
"Whatever, Sash. Enough about Mikasa and me. I really wanna hear about you and Niccolo." You gave her a similar grin while she slowly turned red.
"Nice one, Y/n!" Connie cheered.
"You idiots should just shut it!"

For her - er, roommate... :| She had left a note on the table on top of a box early in the morning. Within the box was quite a handful of new shirts and clothing items she deems would suit IJ, at least in her mind. If they don't, he can fuckin' deal with it. Or she can just get more things based off of feedback but she's stubborn so take what you get. (Despite she has paid attention to his style, mannerisms, and eye candy regarding clothing and interests.)
The note reads: 'Hey, sorry I'm not here right now. Took a trip to NYC to spend the day with CJ. I'll be back later this afternoon. I've got something arriving later tonight for you as well, so I won't be gone too long. Happy Birthday. Be back later.'
'PS. Change your fucking clothes for the love of god, you really piss me off with that shit.'
How loving.
-------------------------------------------------------------------------
Upon arriving into mid afternoon, she comes through the door with an exhausted but satisfied sigh.
"Traffic wouldn't be a problem if they let me deal with it..."
"Hey, I'm back. Sorry I was out later than expected, the kid talked my ear off. Gratefully."
Without even thinking, instincts kicked in as she walked over to where he sat, giving a small kiss on the forehead before tossing her bag on the dining room floor and walking over to the kitchen. Despite no pauses in her stride, immediately there was a feeling of surprise and shock, confused about what she had just done - so casually too! That was... Fucking weird.
She cleared her throat faintly, speaking up from the kitchen.
"I know you like exploring food - I knew one that would suit you-"
A small delayed comment about his outfit.
"So I got some catering service for some foods from Michigan culture. And some greek shit since Detroit has Greek Town instead of the other common shit. Figured you'd wanna try some culture from here. We can do another movie night too if you want. Just no RomComs, that shit is garbage dude."
"... Happy Birthday, by the way..."
happy late birthday!
Given the silence of the house, Mich has probably left. Coming downstairs, the immortal noticed the box rest upon the table and, within inspection, found a note laid on top of it. Reading it, a smile tugged at the edges of his mouth - all in while opening the box.
Sure...
He’ll change.
Jack never truly took the harshness of those types of words as a true harshness. Ever since he met her, she had always had that edge. A bite. That bit of her isn’t ever something that can change naturally - as it would seem. A spark to her personality, something that gave a life to a person. Whether other people would see it that way will always be up to them.
Not everyone can get along with each other, and that is life as we all knew it to be.
With time passing, Jack perked up when hearing the rolling in of her truck, awaiting that door to open with her equally strolling in; and as expected: she did so. Yet, what was never expected happened before either of them could process it, given the moment’s notice.
“...”
Dark umber gazes in watch at the woman who placed a soft salutation upon his forehead... Eyes filled with wonder, even a hint of surprise; yet through her external actions and analysis of her internal taken within herself...
All Jack could muster is how enduring this woman is.
“Oh - what kind of food- ah, thanks, I really like it too-”
Being interrupted led to him also interrupting himself in order to keep the conversation going with the awkwardness at bay.
“I’d really like that! I’m up for that, wouldn’t mind checking out this area more and what it has to offer. The culture really is something I’d like to look into, too. Movie wise, maybe we can see what has come out - I wouldn’t mind seeing something new.”
Hearing Mich speak of his birthday, he couldn’t help but smile more:
“When would you like to head out? I’m ready when you are.”

'You're Mine' Demon!Oikawa x Princess!Reader [Chapter 1]
Genre: Smut, Fluff, Breeding Kink, Size Kink, Over stimulation, Manipulation
This Chapter doesn't have Smut yet. Though I'll only continue this if someone asks for more. I don't wanna write something nobody wants to read.
It was a Dangerous World that they lived in, they all knew that. But despite the Danger that lurked around every corner, behind ever door; [F/N] [L/N], the Princess of Haikaru remained Innocent.
She had never crossed paths with Danger, had never experienced what it was like to lose something dear. The People of Haikaru purposely protected and shielded the Princess off from any sort of Darkness. She was their light, a light that they swore to Protect.
But of course, protecting her came with a major set back. Their walls less guarded from the Demons that lurked the night. But enough to keep them out. Well, most of them.
"Send him to the Dungeons, keep him out of sight and Lock him up as much as possible." The King, ordered his men.
"Yes, Sir." They voiced with a salute. "Move on your feet you Wretched Demon." One of the Soldiers kicked the said Demon, causing him to snarl out of annoyance.
"Now that's just rude." The horned Male barked out, his fangs showing.
"Move."
"Fine, fine~"
The Group of Guards surrounded the Demon, leading him slowly towards the entrance of the dungeons.
"Get in." One of them opened the door, shoving the Evil Entity inside. Soon after they entered as well, making sure to chain the Cyan Horned Man against the Single Wooden Pole. "This should keep you in place, Oikawa Tōru."
"Oh my, so you do know my Name? I'm quite flattered. Am I perhaps famous around here?"
"In your case yes. Yes you are. We've heard of what you've done to Humans like us. Demons should be banished, specifically a Demon as awful as you" And that was it, the last thing that the Group of Mortals said to the Beast. Leaving him alone in the empty open space, where only the chains that dug through his skin lay.
Oikawa moved his Left Arm slightly, hoping to snap the chains off with a bit of Magic. Only to be met by a sharp pain striking all throughout his body.
"Now, I wouldn't do that if I were you. These chains? They were made to keep Demons like you in place. To keep you from causing anymore trouble than you already have." The Royal turned on his heel. "You deserve to be treated like this."
"Dad, what's in there?" [F/N] pointed towards the cellar, where 2 Guards stood against.
"My sweet Princess, there is no need to be curious about what is within the door. You must avoid that place, for you are not safe there." Her Father replied, patting her head softly while a smile.
"Alright Father" She nodded her head slowly, yet curiosity still lingered inside her thoughts.
Eventually when night began to fall, [F/N] snuck out of her Room. Descending down the nice tiled stairs to approach her destination. She made sure to avoid the soldiers who were put on nightly duty.
Peeking around the corner, she spotted the two guards who were put to stay in front of the door. To her luck, they've fallen asleep. And was on the floor crouching.
[F/N] approached the two, giving them a slight poke to make sure that they are indeed asleep before taking what seems to be the key to the room.
As soon as she unlocked the door, she pushed it open. Making sure that she wouldn't make a single sound in the progress.
From what her Father had said before, this place was dangerous. Yet as soon as she stepped into the so called 'dangerous' room. She wasn't expecting to be met by a Handsome man, straddled with chains around his body. His arms had burns including his neck.
Without much hesitation she shut the door behind her slowly and approached the stranger. "Oh my God..- Are you alright?"
The man slowly opened his eyes, lifting his chin up to meet [E/C] orbs. Oikawa's eyes slightly widened, the scent of the most purest mortal he has ever smelled rushed through his nostrils. Instinctively, he leaned forward, causing the chains to burn his arms a tad bit more. Tōru grunted from the pain, and was unable to Heal himself unless they were off.
He was expecting her to run, to scream as soon as she saw his horns. But what he didn't expect, was her leaning in to slightly brush her finger against them. "What.. What are these? They're so cool"
Oh my, he wasn't expecting any of this at all. His lips quirked up into a devilish smirk, his eyes darkened with the thought of how innocent this little Mortal was. He often went out to many Villages to capture, and redeem souls. Hunted and killed Mortals who stood in his way to feast on their Flesh. But not only does he feed off of flesh, he also feeds off of arousal.
And here he was, chained to the floor with a full course buffet standing before him, offering her concern and curiosity. He could capture her, take her back to the underworld where he will make her his. His to love, his to cherish, and his to claim. "They're my Horns [F/N], you like them?"
[F/N] nodded slowly, she didn't question the Horned man how he knew what her name was. Instead, she maneuvered her way over to the source of the chains, quickly disengaging them.
"What.. The.. -" Tōru felt the chains loosen around him, his eyes darting over to the Precious Girl he sought to claim. "Why.. Why did you do that?" He questioned.
"You seem like a good Demon so.. I thought.. Maybe my Father was wrong about you. Plus um.. It looked like the chains were preventing you from talking properly without wincing in pain"
'She truly is innocent. Fuck, I want her even more now' he stood up, brushing the dust off his legs before completely healing his wounds. "Is that so? You're quite an observant little thing aren't you? But have you ever heard of a Good Demon?"
[F/N] shook her head. "No, I've never even met one up until now"
'Seriously? They were trying to protect her from us? How pathetic, yet rewarding..'
"Oh, well the pleasure's all mine little one. I am Tōru Oikawa. Don't bother telling me your Name." He walked closer, expecting her to back away in fear that she had made the wrong choice. But once again he was proven wrong when she didn't move at all. Instead her eyes remained staring back into his. "How can I repay you Princess..~?"
"Become my Friend"
Oikawa was stunned, his mouth ajar as his eyes grew. "Excuse me? Could you, perhaps-- I don't know--- Repeat that?"
"I said.. Become my.. Friend. My Father doesn't let me go out of the Castle walls, and I don't really have Friends here. I mean I do get along with the people around here but they never really showed interest in trying to get to know me"
"I see.. So you want me, the King of the Underworld, to become your Friend?" Without much of a reply, [F/N] nodded her head vigorously.
"Alright then, I'll be your Friend Little One. I'll make sure to visit you once in a while in your room." Oikawa leaned forward and planted a kiss on her forehead. "Make sure to not tell anyone with our little Meet ups alright?"
"I won't, I promise.." [F/N]'s cheeks reddened a bit, not expecting to get a kiss on the forehead by the King of the Underworld himself.
But what she didn't know, was that the kiss contained more than just a Thank You. It was a way to tell the other Demons similar to him to back off as soon as they smelled her essence. With the invisible pendant forming on her forehead only for demons to admire, she was practically untouchable.
Days passed with Oikawa constantly visiting [F/N] in secret. Their Friendship growing into a much more passionate one. The lingering touches he dreamt of doing to her were kept at bay, fearing that he might ruin his only chance to claim her.
"Tōru?" [F/N] called out in a soft voice, she nudged her Demon friend on the shoulder a bit.
"Huh" His eyes widened slightly, being snapped out of his thoughts. "What is it?"
"You've been thinking for a while. What has you troubled?"
"Nothing, nothing at all." He slowly lets out a long, low sigh as he feels his hair through his fingers.
"Well, if you say s-"
A sudden knock came from the door, capturing both Tōru's and [F/N]'s attention. Her eyes widened in panic as she quickly got up, ushering Oikawa to leave before he was seen.
"Yes? I'm here!" She replied, her voice was soft and timid compared to her usual out going self.
"Is something wrong?" The knight asked from behind the door. "Your Father sent me here to accompany you. Apparently you've been more distant lately, spending most of your time in your room.. Is there.. Anything I could do to help?"
[F/N] slowly opened the door, peaking through to see who it was. And to her surprise, it was Iwaizumi Hajime. a Friend of hers from a far away village. The only Friend that her Father allowed to blossom. "H-Hajime-"
"I know, it's been a while hasn't it? [F/N]." He smiled ever so softly before staring back at the door that kept him from slinging his arms around her. "Mind if I get in?"
"Not at a- eep!" She stilled, feeling a pair of hands rest on either side of her waist. Slowly moving down to her core. She turned to look at Tōru who had a shit eating grin, obviously proud of the reaction he got from you. "Tōru.. Not now.. What are you doing.. -"
"Is someone there with you?" Iwaizumi asked with a concerned look on his face.
"N-NO- No, I was just startled. You haven't been in my room for.. Over 6 years y'know, and it's kind of overwhelming"
"R-Right... You're making me feel old [F/N]"
"That's because you are, blehhh" Hajime chuckled, forcefully pushing the door open with his strong arms.
"Alright, that's it you little trouble maker. I'm coming in whether you like it or not"
"NO- WAIT N-" She quickly turned to look at Tōru, but was met with an empty room. No trace of him but her bed and along with her other furniture.
Iwaizumi stepped in the room, chuckling at her childish actions. "You seriously can't be that embarrassed with me being here, are you?"
"Kind of... But um, apart from that. How's your Village? Everything alright?"
"Everything's been normal. Not to mention the Grand King hasn't visited us for over a week. It's quite a relief, yet terrifying." He walked further into the room, taking his helmet off with a Huff.
"I wonder why.." [F/N] mumbled out softly. Of course she knew why, she was the reason that Oikawa has been rarely seen out and about. He's always hanging out in her room, chatting, and laughing with her as if he wasn't some demonic entity. But at the end of the day, he's still the King of the Underworld. "How long are you gonna stay here for? Not that I want you to leave or anything"
"Maybe for a couple of days. You know, until you brighten up a bit."
"Haji, I'm okay I promise."
"You Promise?"
"Pinky Promise"
Hajime stared straight into her eyes with concern, but eventually sighed. "Fine, but if your Dad yells at me for not cheering you up? You're so in for it."
"Pfft, yeah, yeah" She quickly plopped herself beside Iwaizumi, slinging her arms around him with a cheerful smile. "I missed you"
He stuttered out a small 'Thank you' before wrapping his arms around her waist. His cheeks were painted pink as he dipped his head against her shoulder.
Little did the two know, a certain horned man was watching them, anger flowing all throughout his body as his fists clenched. She was supposed to be his, not that porcupines woman.
