A bit of a different thing from what i usually post but i really want people to check out something cool i found!

While scrolling through youtube i found an indie game based on You Dont Know Jack, called Salty Trivia with Candy Barre!

Rn its only in its demo, but it seems like the creators put a lot of heart into making it fun and have a similar energy to YDKJ while also making its own thing! Works with keyboards, controllers, and phones! Go check it out and give the creators some love!

So… Batch 2 is now out.

Yeah I’m confused too. I thought there were delays but we decided to delay the delays, Miles can have his mental breakdown later. So enjoy episodes 4,5 and 6; some new random questions and enjoy my suffering cuz WE’RE DOING IT AGAIN NEXT YEAR.

(Also I literally left to do something for like 5 hours and come back to the new batch out)

So there may be some delays for Batch 2 of Salty Trivia with Candy Barre. Here are the reasons why.

Haley’s throat is staging a coup against her body AND WINNING.

Roo found an anti-gravity gun and he can’t turn it off. (he is now perpetually upside-down)

Pyrrho tried to take over the world, settled for taking over a circus.

We can’t find Walter. This man is a cryptid, I swear. WE SEARCHED EVERYWHERE FOR HIM.

River almost got crushed by her copious amount of penguin plushies while trying to sort them.

Candy is getting questioned by the FDA for “too much salt in a product”.

Miles is collapsed on the couch due to being overworked and underpaid.

Daisy is being Daisy.

Ozzy has been put in prison for 30 days after absolutely wrecking the studio and cussing out everyone while doing it.

So yeah… A lot of stuff happening. Expect either delays or the end of the world.

Oooo~ Game! When does it officially launch, and is there jackbox lore intertwined? And do the guys here know the hosts of jackbox party pack? Asking the Creator of this Tumblr btw.

Officially, we have the first 3 episodes, a bunch of random questions and a “test” episode out (it was made before anyone except Candy was cast).

And for lore, this game is as so. Salty Trivia came out in 2006 as a TV show hosted by Frank O’Pinnian. (more name puns, I know) It ran from 2006 to 2011 but shut down due to low viewership and the fact YDKJ was coming back from the dead.

In 2022, a trio coming off of a sitcom called Slouch Couch picked up the idea for Salty Trivia. They now rent a studio and have to suffer with things like trapdoors and the angry Australian who keeps barging i- FUCK OFF, OZZY!

And who was this trio? Miles Stone, Daisy Chaine and the main girl herself… Candy Barre.
