Who knew the addition of local honey to a classic flavor could do so much for the senses? Oregon Honey Rocky Road will be my “go to” favorite this month. The candied crunch of the nuts and fluffy marshmallow swirled with chewy, gooey honey.

Salt & Straw’s new Summer Picnic Series is here and includes a Cinnamon & Honey Fried Chicken Ice Cream using Ezell’s Fried Chicken! 🍗��� I certainly didn’t anticipate actually getting a whole scoop of this, but after sampling the entire series this was my favorite (close second being Baked Brie & Fig Cheesecake). The base mostly made me think of Cinnamon Toast Crunch, and the fried chicken was… acceptable? 😅 There is a mental hurdle of “why am I eating soggy fried chicken in my ice cream” but there were some good flavorful crispy bites in there too.
