“Where’s the wine?” everyone keeps asking. Sorry I wanted to try some beers. But the reason for our trip is to investigate Czech wines, which started in earnest. We visited Salabka vineyards and winery outside of Prague and tasted some great wines and had a meal worthy of a Michelin star. The wine highlights for me were the Riesling, Sylvaner, and the red Czech varietal Neronet. This grape is one of the rare varietals that has red flesh. Such a deep dark color!
