An interesting little fun thing with team 7 is that you assume that Sakura's gonna, like, woobify and simplify Sasuke by putting him on a pedastal,cause her goal is centered around him and shes a 12 y/o fangirl so like of course her understanding of him is skewed cause she doesnt see him as a person, just an object of affection, right? She's can't get Sasuke, can't imprint on and/or traumabond with him like Naruto and Kakashi do. They don't see him with rose tinted glasses, because they've lived through their own Horrors and empathize with Sasuke's experience.

......right?

WRONG lmao!! They have too many ghosts!! Naruto's single-minded codependent ass won't get out of his own way long enough to see Sasuke for who he actually is, only able to empathize with the parts of his trauma Naruto relates to and not really capable of understanding him outside of the context of himself (because Sasuke is. His other half). And Kakashi is far too jaded to be fair to him!! He can't decide if Sasuke is gonna end up as a mini-him or a mini-Obito or maybe a mini-Itachi, but either way he ALSO is too traumatized to see Sasuke AS SASUKE.

meanehile SAKURA'S autistic ass may have dogshit empathy, but you know what she does have? A special interest in sasuke. Nothing better to do then give herself a degree in Uchihaisms. She can write character studies about him. she can read his soul. Whenever she says something about him she is right. Every fucking time! She is RIGHT!!!!

Yamato shouldn't exist

One of my biggest Naruto hot takes is that Yamato shouldn't exist.

I really like him as a character, but from a story point of view, you don't need his existence.

Naruto has a general problem of having too big of a cast. As a result, there is no character development other than Naruto, Sasuke and maybe Kakashi.

In the arc we needed a character to explain ROOT to us and a link to Orochimaru. Since Sai is already a ROOT agent, we don't need Yamato to fill that spot. And as for Orochimaru… We already had a great character who was already super popular and should know a lot more about Orochimaru than Yamato: Anko.

She was Orochimaru's student. It could have given Naruto and Sakura incredible insight into what Sasuke's life might be like right now and what he might be going through.

And the other reason he exists is to keep Kurama in check, well… never really worked, did it?

And later in the war, he's only needed for the clones, but even for that, another solution could so easily have been found.

So yeah, his character is pointless and without him you could have given a lot of already existing characters more character development

valentines day pkmn wip ^_^

#im gonna put them on their own canvases and write a little abt their design insp and ideas #i had a lot of ideas but decided to go with the ones i felt worked strongest. although id love to go back to the ones that #didnt make the cut and see if i can rework them.. its a little hard to remember things that correspond to valentines day...!!!!#i wanted to do wedding dress gardevoir.. pearl necklace onix... romantic candle chandelure... heart balloon drifloon....#cherubird was supposed to be delibird but i found it hard to work around the santa theme without making it hard to recognize #so i decided to make it a new pokemon (fakemon?) entirely ^_^ based on seraphim doves and love letters #klefki is based on the pont de arcs bridge in france known for its lovelocks!! it collects charms like halves of best friend necklaces #lockets and lost wedding rings.. sawsbuck is based on tree carvings with lovers names and sakura branches #roserade is based on flower bouquets. i like how its design came out!! the body is supposed to look like a waistcoat #lopunny based on playboy bunnies. the fur on its wrists is supposed to resemble the cuffs. torso has the one piece suit #and their legs have the thigh high stockings. frogadier is based on romantic bubble baths with flower petals #tangela is based on curly old telephone wires that you twirl between your fingers when calling your lover kicking your feet in the air #decidueye has to be my fav though with the cupid theme. also used barn owls bc of the heart shaped face #i cant wait to finish these!!!! i can see these going on my portfolio for sure #my art #myart #pokemon #pokemon design #valentines day #wip #doodles
