Imagine the League of Villains are being scanned by one of those handheld metal detectors.

Obviously, Dabi is setting it off constantly on almost every inch of his body, nearly breaking the damn thing.

Everyone else gets cleared until Mr. Compress is the last one— seeming a bit reluctant for some reason.

His prosthetic arm sets it off, but otherwise everything is in the clear… until it’s lowered to his crotch, where the scanner lets out a loud beep.

Everyone freezes and Mr. Compress shrugs like, “A magician never reveals his secrets.”

i'm really proud of myself bc i managed to save up for my grail fountain pen, which proved to me that i can save up a non negligible amount even on my limited income <3

now the financially wise thing to do would be to not spend all that money on a superfluous thing, but it was the whole point of it all, and besides i live by the law of personal treasures. these are what someone who is likely to have heirs would call heirlooms. currently i have two personal treasures: my silver evenstar pendant that my partner gave me, and the circular shawl in night blue silk that is a map of the northern hemisphere sky with bohemian crystal beads for the stars, which my mom knitted for me. this lacquer pen with handcrafted mother of pearl inlays shaped like blossoms would be the third, especially when i get a custom nib for it. #dragonposting

Hey, I have a question. Why does fandom trip over themselves to get to Overhaul, but sleeps on Mr. Compress?

If it's down to looks, they're both what would be considered 'plain'. Quirks, they're both interesting, useful, etc. And maybe I'm just biased because I'm not a fan of child abuse, but in the personality department Atsuhiro has that in spades (⌐■_■) .

And I'm just confused, because I've always liked Compress, and now after everything he's done, everything he's given, where's the love for him? I've always been confused by the sheer number of people who would die on their hill for Chisaki Kai, but I've never seen the same behavior for Atsuhiro, and I'm salty.

Even looking past being a child abuser, which I will not, Overhaul is just not better than Compress, so what gives? Is this all a social experiment?

Someone let me know, because maybe now this is the hill I'LL be dying on, because Compress never got enough credit as it was, and that man is my husband now, so..
