Saito Tatsuoki was killed on this day, August 14, 1573 Saito Tatsuoki was the third generation Daimyo of Mino, following his grandfather, Saito Dosan, and father, Saito Yoshitasu. He was also a nephew of Oda Nobunaga, as Nobunaga’s first wife, Nohime, was Saito Dosan’s daughter. Tatsuoki was born in 1548, and succeeded his father, aged 14, in 1561. The following year he developed a rivalry with Mino based warlord, Akechi Mitsuhide of nearby Kani. Mitsuhide had sided with Tatsuoki’s grandfather, Dosan, when Saito Yoshitatsu had turned against Dosan and ousted him. In 1564, Tatsuoki’s forces and those of the Akechi clashed. The Saito samurai were soundly defeated, and the loss effectively removed the Saito clan from being a viable player on the Sengoku period stage. Gifu Castle, originally known as Inabayama Castle, was said to have been one of the strongest, most impregnable castles in Japan, yet there was a time when it fell to Takenaka Hanbei and just 16 of his samurai! Takenaka Hanbei was a military advisor to the lord of Gifu Castle, Saito Tatsuoki and his father, Saito Yoshitatsu before him. Hanbei was a brilliant tactician, although a sickly, and effeminate man. Once, a samurai of Gifu Castle gravely insulted the strategist by urinating on him as he passed below one of the castles’ defensive turrets. His complaints to the lord of the castle, Tatsuoki, to have the perpetrator punished went unheeded, and so some time later, Hanbei entered the castle with his band of 16 samurai on the pretext of visiting his sick brother, and used the entrance to make an faux-attempt on the life of Saito Tatsuoki. The confused Tatsuoki, thinking a much larger army of attackers had entered the castle, fled for his life, abandoning the castle and his men. Hanbei took the castle easily. Having heard of the coup, Oda Nobunaga then requested Hanbei give the castle to him, however Hanbei refused, instead returning the property to Tatsuoki, and then left the service of the Saito clan. The greatly embarrassed Tatsuoki, who had lost a great deal of reputation and honor from the cowardly retreat would not keep the castle for long. When Oda Nobunaga attacked the castle in 1567, many of the troops under Tatsuoki remembered his cowardice and either fled themselves, (just like Tatsuoki did when he heard Nobunaga's forces were approaching) or defected to the Oda forces. Nobunaga then relocated his headquarters from Komaki Castle to the centrally located fortress and renamed it “Gifu.” Saito Tatsuoki would remain in exile, occasionally taking part in a number of battles against Nobunaga under the banners of the Asakura and Asai clans until his death on August 14, 1573, aged just 26. Tatsuoki was apparently cut down during the Battle of Tonezaka, also known as the Siege of Ichijodani Castle.

Ichinose Clan Theory — The meaning behind Guren’s crest
I already talked in a post that I recently made about how Kagami used the prestigious Tokugawa Clan as a reference for the Sangū Clan:
https://distinguished-slacker.tumblr.com/post/652605760110542848/sang%C5%AB-clan-theory-the-meaning-behind-mitsuba-and
However, while doing this research I randomly happened to find a clan that could be the reference for the Ichinose Clan:
That is the Saitō Clan (斎藤氏). The Saitō Clan was a Japanese samurai clan from Echizen Province, Fuku Prefecture. This family ruled over the Mino Province, which bordered the Owari province that I mentioned in my previous post. Saitō Dōsan was a powerful warlord who married his daughter to Oda Nobunaga, who was Japanese “daimyō” (a Japanese magnate or feudal lord) and one of the leading figures of the Sengoku period. Oda Nobunaga was one of the "Great Unifiers" of Japan along with Tokugawa Ieyasu and Toyotomi Hideyoshi. However, Saitō Dōsan and his son Saitō Yoshitatsu were defeated by the Oda and died in 1564. Saitō Yoshitatsu’s son was known as a drunkard who was unable to govern and was defeated by the same Oda Nobunaga three years later. As a consequence, the Saitō clan disappeared in 1567. It sounds similar as to how the Ichinose Clan lost their prestige.
But why am I sure why the Saitō Clan was used as a reference for the Ichinose Clan?
This is because of Rígr Stafford who refers himself as ‘Saitō’ and who coincidentally happens to have a relation with the Ichinose Clan as seen in Volume 2, Chapter 1 of the Resurrection at 19 Light Novels:
Although it wasn’t Saito who initially created the Ichinose Clan, as it was Sika Madu who created the whole Mikado no Oni, and so the Hīragi family and the 10 branch houses serving under them, it was indeed Saito who was the perpetrator of the incident that happened 500 years ago that caused the Ichinose Clan to separate from Mikado no Oni, form Mikado no Tsuki, and become “pariahs”. Moreover, as it is mentioned, similar to how Sika Madu insterted his own cells inside some members of the Hīragi family (or possibly all members in all generations since 1200 years ago), Saito inserted some of his own cells inside an Ichinose Clan member 500 years ago, and so all of his descendants, including Guren, still contain these cells inside their bodies to this day. This means that if Sika Madu is the God and creator of Mikado no Oni, then Saito would be the God and creator of Mikado no Tsuki.
To further support this claim, let’s have a look at the crest of the Saito Clan:
Doesn’t this shape remind you of the pendant that Guren wears at the center of his uniform collar?
There has been some discussion over the years when it comes to guessing what actually the shape of Guren’s pendant is; some people said it is a Sun while others say it is a cherry blossom flower. But what if it’s neither of them?
First, the ones who claim it’s a Sun is because then it would complement the Hīragi Clan Moon pendant, more specifically Shinya, as Shinya’s name means “midnight” while Guren is called the “Sun” more than once, acting as foils to each other. However, if you have a closer look at it it’s hard to completely affirm that it’s a Sun because the circle is way too small in comparison to what the Sun rays would be and the five division of the rays resembles more a flower.
Here come the ones who claim it’s a cherry blossom. This is further supported by the use of the cherry blossom in OnS. When Guren attended Shibuya First High School for the first time, the cherry blossoms were in their blooming season, which is March/April. Also, in volume 14 of the manga, Mahiru happens to be seated on top of a cherry blossom tree with Guren behind her, and some people have theorised that the cherry blossom represents Mahiru because the flower symbolises the fleeting nature of life, as Mahiru “died” when she was only sixteen. There is also the fact that people assume it’s a cherry blossom because it’s one of the easiest flowers to recognise. But let’s have a look at how a cherry blossom actually looks like:
The edges of real life cherry blossom petals are really smooth, and no matter what cherry blossom “Sakura” symbols you look at on internet, the petals always have this particular rounded, slightly pointy with an inwards triangular cut at the middle edge shape. But the petals of Guren’s flower emblem are way too rough and irregularly shaped to belong to those of a cherry blossom flower. Then, to what flower it belongs to?
This flower is the Nadeshiko flower Dianthus superbus or the fringed pink or large pink. As you can see, it has five petals which have rough edges like those of Guren’s crest. One of the regions this flower can be found is in Japan and it occurs at high altitudes, up to 2400 m. This reminds me of how Guren’s home is mountainous. But putting that aside, some fans of Japanese culture might recognise this name from the ‘Yamato Nadeshiko’, which is the personification of an idealized Japanese woman. According to this ideal, this woman has to feminine, poised, gentle, humble, patient, honest, charitable, benevolent, chaste and devoted to her husband, always submissive to him, dedicated to the family, bonus points if she looks weak, delicate, with pale skin and long, straight dark hair, preferably black. So then, who does fit this role?
This is no one but the Ichinose girl who lived 500 years ago. In this panel taken from the Catastrophe at 16 manga, you can see how she has very long dark hair, and the way she gracefully holds the fan gives the idea of a sophisticated and feminine woman. Saito even calls her an “alluring girl”. Then it comes the idea of weakness and care for the family. The poor girl was one of the victims of Saitō’s plans and a victim of rape at the hands of the first Hīragi son as an act of jealousy because said girl chose his younger brother, the second Hīragi son. This girl in the end had the baby, who was accepted by the second Hīragi son, even if it wasn’t his son, and these three lived as a family after. However, they had to live a life of humiliation, being so powerless even to their last breath. Furthermore, the idea that the Yamamoto Nadeshiko name belongs to the Ichinose Clan in the OnS world, is that Mikado no Tsuki remained very traditional in comparison with Mikado no Oni, still living in a traditional Japanese mansion, wearing Japanese robes and being given a traditional education. The most obvious proof of this is how Sayuri, a member of Mikado no Tsuki, was raised by her family to fit these roles to serve Guren appropriately, as seen in the afterword that she appears in:
So in conclusion, Guren’s crest represents the Nadeshiko flower. Of course I could be wrong, and it could be either the Sun or a cherry blossom but I think it’s worth to mention this other option as I haven’t seen anyone else write about it. There is also the possibility that it doesn’t have to be only one flower. Saito was the one who planned the meeting between the Ichinose girl and the two Hīragi sons 500 years ago. 500 years later, the same Saito plans the meeting between the Ichinose son, Guren, and the Hīragi girl, Mahiru. Maybe the flower that represents the first meeting is the Nadeshiko flower and the second meeting is represented by the Sakura flower (cherry blossom). The Nadeshiko flower symbolised the kindness but futility of the Ichinoses in the past and so became their crest but maybe the Sakura flower, which also has connotations about fragility but at the same time represents time of renewal, may indicate that this time the Ichinose clan (or what remains of it) will be able to finally break their chains in this era.
I hope you liked my theory! :3 I swear I only began with researching only about Mitsuba, but then somehow I made a theory about the Sangūs, and then somehow I ended up with a theory about the Ichinoses, which lead me to the topic of Guren’s crest. What a chain of events😅
P.S. My GureShin heart is suffering right now guys🤧

NOAH, AJPW, STARDOM, Dragon Gate Supercard Results for Emperor’s Birthday Holiday 2/23/2022 With Title Matches & Changes Galore; DDT’s COVID-19 Woes Continue To Wreak Havoc On Ultimate Tag League, DDT/TJPW 2/23/2022 Results
Today is the 62nd birthday for the Reiwa Emperor Naruhito. It is a national holiday in Japan, so there is a bunch of wrestling happening, with a bunch of title defenses across a bunch of promotions.
Pro Wrestling NOAH
NOAH ran Gain Control 2022 in Nagoya today, live on ABEMA and Wrestle Universe. Two title defenses, and a match to fill a third title, took place on this show.
Gain Control 2022 in Nagoya - 2/23/2022, Aichi Nagoya Congress Center Event Hall (ABEMA, Wrestle Universe)
King Tany & Muhammad Yone [Funky Express] d. Akitoshi Saito & Masao Inoue [Funky Express] (Yone > Inoue, Kinniku Buster, 11:58)
Nio [Kongo] d. Kinya Okada (Stuka Splash, 9:58)
NOSAWA Rongai & Kotaro Suzuki [Perros del Mal de Japon] d. Yoshinari Ogawa [STINGER] & Yasutaka Yano (Suzuki > Yano, Excalibur, 6:42)
Tadasuke, Hajime Ohara & ALEJA [Kongo] d. Hao, Junta Miyawaki & Kai Fujimura (Tadasuke > Fujimura, Fuyuki Special, 14:42)
Masato Tanaka [M’s Alliance] DCO Kendo Kashin [Sugiura-gun] (11:01)
Naomichi Marufuji [M’s Alliance] & Takashi Sugiura [Sugiura-gun] d. Masa Kitamiya & Yoshiki Inamura (Sugiura > Inamura, Olympic Qualifying Slam, 20:22)
GHC Juniorheavyweight Tag Team Championship Decision Match: Atsushi Kotoge & YO-HEY d. HAYATA & Yuya Susumu [STINGER] (YO-HEY > Susumu, Super Face G, 26:58) - Kotoge/YO-HEY are the 49th champions
GHC Juniorheavyweight Championship: Daisuke Harada © d. Super Crazy [Perros del Mal de Japon] (Hurricanrana, 18:57) - Harada succeeds his 2nd defense
Go Shiozaki, Kaito Kiyomiya & Daiki Inaba d. Kenoh, Masakatsu Funaki & Manabu Soya [Kongo] (Kiyomiya > Soya, Double Armlock, 21:21)
GHC Heavyweight Championship: Kazuyuki Fujita [Sugiura-gun] d. Katsuhiko Nakajima [Kongo] © (Powerbomb, 21:11) - Nakajima fails his 5th defense - Fujita is the 37th champion
Good golly, Miss Molly. Kazuyuki Fujita can now be one of the all-time worst IWGP *and* GHC Heavyweight Champions of all time. What can I say, besides, CyberFight love their 50+ year-old champions. I really don’t know what purpose this serves to NOAH. God I hate Kazuyuki Fujita.
So I guess Hajime Ohara is part of Kongo now. I can’t keep up with the changes in that stable anymore. YO-HEY comes good for Ohara’s old partner Kotoge, as they now fill the vacant junior tag belts. Hope this reign lasts more than a week, given the vacations of the belts the last month. One day BIG TANK Yoshiki Inamura will beat Takashi Sugiura. Super Crazy does not get to hold two promotions’ junior titles in the span of a couple of months. Masao Inoue returned to the ring in an inter-Funky-Express match.
NOAH’s next show is on Friday from Yokohama Radiant Hall.
All Japan Pro Wrestling
A Triple Crown match highlighted today’s Korakuen Hall rally for AJPW. Three other title matches took place on this one too. Hokuto Omori and Yusuke Kodama were pulled from this show as being close contacts to an undetermined positive COVID-19 case.
Excite Series 2022 Night 5 - 2/23/2022, Tokyo Korakuen Hall (AJPW.tv)
Ryuki Honda [TOTAL ECLIPSE] d. Ryo Inoue (Lariat, 4:00)
Dan Tamura [Evolution] & Ryuji Hijikata d. Takuho Kato & Kazumasa Yoshida (Tamura > Yoshida, 6:49)
Shuji Ishikawa, Takao Omori & Black Menso-re d. Yuma Aoyagi, Atsuki Aoyagi & Rising HAYATO [NEXTREAM] (Ishikawa > HAYATO, Fire Thunder Bomb, 9:02)
KAZMA SAKAMOTO, Takayuki Ueki & Seigo Tachibana d. Yoshitatsu, Izanagi & Devil Murasaki (KAZMA > Yoshitatsu, Schoolboy, 8:22)
GAORA TV Championship: Shigehiro Irie © d. Isami Kodaka (Flying Headbutt, 10:22) - Irie succeeds his 2nd defense
World Juniorheavyweight Championship: Hikaru Sato [Evolution] d. SUGI © (Cross Armbreaker, 9:51) - SUGI fails his 3rd defense - Sato is the 61st champion
World Tag Team Championship: Suwama & Shotaro Ashino [Evolution] © d. Koji Doi & Kuma Arashi [TOTAL ECLIPSE] (Ashino > Doi, T-Bone Suplex, 18:26) - Runaway SUPLEX succeed their 3rd defense
Triple Crown Heavyweight Championship: Kento Miyahara [NEXTREAM] © d. Abdullah Kobayashi [BJW] (German Suplex Hold, 16:06) - Miyahara succeeds his 1st defense
I don’t think there were any surprises here today, including the junior title change. AJPW will not put the Triple Crown on a wrestler contracted to Big Japan. Sato is far superior a wrestler to SUGI. But hey, Shigehiro Irie retained his title, and we like him a lot around these parts.
It would not surprise me to see Shuji Ishikawa challenge Kento coming up either.
The Excite Series wraps up Sunday in Chiba.
STARDOM
STARDOM held Cinderella Journey in Nagaoka today, live on PPV. I don’t think you can still get it; both links I tried, failed. Four title matches on this one.
Cinderella Journey 2022 in Nagaoka - 2/23/2022, Niigata Aore Nagaoka (PPV)
Future Of Stardom Next Challenger 3-Way Match: - Rina [Oedo Tai] d. Waka Tsukiyama [Cosmic Angels] & Mai Sakurai [Donna del Mondo] (Rina > Tsukiyama, Gory Bomb, 6:09) - Mai Sakurai [Donna del Mondo] d. Waka Tsukiyama [Cosmic Angels] (8:06)
Future Of Stardom Championship: Hanan [STARS] © d. Momo Kohgo [Queen’s Quest] (Backdrop Hold, 5:20) - Hanan succeeds her 2nd defense
Ruaka & Momo Watanabe [Oedo Tai] d. Utami Hayashishita & Lady C [Queen’s Quest] (Ruaka > C, Freezer Bomb, 7:34)
Mayu Iwatani [STARS] & Tam Nakano [Cosmic Angels] d. Saki Kashima & Fukigen Death [Oedo Tai] (Iwatani > Kashima, Moonsault Press, 10:04)
Syuri, Maika & Himeka [Donna del Mondo] TLD Giulia, MIRAI & Thekla [Donna del Mondo] (20:00)
Goddess Of Stardom Championship: Koguma & Hazuki [STARS] © d. Mina Shirakawa & Unagi Sayaka [Cosmic Angels] (Koguma > Shirakawa, Diving Body Press, 12:28) - Koguma/Hazuki succeed their 2nd defense
High Speed Championship: AZM [Queen’s Quest] d. Starlight Kid [Oedo Tai] © (Numero Uno, 17:03) - Starlight Kid fails her 6th defense - AZM is the 22nd champion
Wonder Of Stardom Championship: Saya Kamitani [Queen’s Quest] © d. Natsupoi [Donna del Mondo] (Phoenix Splash, 21:55) - Kamitani succeeds her 2nd defense
Immediately after retaining her title, Saya Kamitani nominated both her table leader Utami Hayashishita, and Cosmic Angels’ leader Tam Nakano, as challengers to her title for both nights at Ryogoku on 3/26 & 3/27/2022. Momo Watanabe challenged Koguma & Hazuki for their titles, with a special mystery partner to team with her. The crux of the opener is to determine the challengers for Hanan on both nights of Ryogoku, which will now be Rina and Mai Sakurai, both. Seems like an awfully busy time for STARDOM.
STARDOM return this weekend with shows Saturday and Sunday.
Dragon Gate
DG held Memorial Gate 2022 in Wakayama today, which you can see now on Dragon Gate Network. Featured today was the first defense of the Open The Twin Gate titles for Dragon Dia & Yuki Yoshioka.
Memorial Gate 2022 in Wakayama - 2/23/2022, Wakayama Prefectural Gymnasium (Dragon Gate Network)
Susumu Yokosuka, Big Boss Shimizu & U-T [Natural Vibes] TLD KAI, BxB Hulk & Shun Skywalker [Z-Brats] (15:00)
Takashi Yoshida & Ho Ho Lun d. Strong Machine J & Shachihoko Boy (Yoshida > Boy, Release Powerbomb, 3:49)
SB KENTo & Diamante [Z-Brats] d. Yosuke Santa Maria & Punch Tominaga (KENTo > Yosuke, SB Shooter, 0:34)
YAMATO, Dragon Kid, Ben-K, Keisuke Okuda & Kagetora [HIGH-END] d. Ultimo Dragon, Masaaki Mochizuki, Don Fujii, Yasushi Kanda & Shuji Kondo (Kagetora > Kanda, Kagenui, 12:24)
Open The Brave Gate #1 Contender 5-Way Match: Takuma Fujiwara d. Riki Iihashi, Ishin Iihashi, Takumi Hayakawa & Ryu Fuda (Fujiwara > Ishin, Schoolboy, 7:32)
Naruki Doi, Kota Minoura & Kaito Ishida d. Kzy, Genki Horiguchi & Jacky “Funky” Kamei [Natural Vibes] (Minoura > Horiguchi, Gang, 9:58)
HYO [Z-Brats] d. Eita (Schoolboy with ropes, 7:37)
Open The Twin Gate Championship: Dragon Dia & Yuki Yoshioka © d. Jason Lee & La Estrella (Yoshioka > Estrella, Frog Splash, 17:58) - DiaYoshi succeed their 1st defense
Dragon Dia remains a double-crown champion after he & Yoshioka beat Dia’s former MASQUERADE mates in Lee & Estrella. I don’t know if DiaYoshi is the name, but it sounded good and DG-esque. Dia will now face Takuma Fujiwara to defend the Brave Gate title after Fujiwara beat his dojo class fellows. I was kinda rooting for Ryu Fuda actually. That match will be at Champion Gate in Osaka on 3/5/2022.
Naruki Doi’s Unit With No Name gets a good prelude win over Natural Vibes, as we head for that Open The Triangle Gate match, also on 3/5/2022.
HYO gets another one over on Eita, the man he deposed to turn R.E.D. into Z-Brats. In other Z-Brats goings on, after a week or so of Big Boss Shimizu beating HYO in prelude matches, and getting a direct win over KAI, now Z-Brats is starting to get one over on Shimizu, first with KAI interfering to cause Shimizu’s loss to Jason Lee on Sunday, and now a time limit draw in the opener to add some intrigue to the KAI v. Shimizu Open The Dream Gate title defense that is coming 3/6/2022 in Osaka.
The Truth Gate 2022 tour wraps up Saturday in Tsushima, and on Sunday with another streamed show from Kobe.
DDT / Tokyo Joshi
The COVID-19 issues for DDT continue, as Hideki Okatani has now tested positive as well. Eruption are now effectively out of the tournament – their match that was to take place today v. Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya is a forfeit, and due to Kazuki Hirata being out, the Eruption v. Hirata & Shuji Kondo match for the Final on Saturday will be a double-forfeit. Neither team were in the running at this point as it was. So today’s Ultimate Tag League show had no actual Ultimate Tag League matches on it. Yuji Hino & Yukio Naya end the League with 4 points, not in the running for the Final as that will come down to Burning v. The 37KAMIINA on Sunday for A Block.
DDT Ultimate Tag League 2022 In Fukushima!! - 2/23/2022, Will Fukushima (Wrestle Universe)
Kazusada Higuchi d. Yuki Ishida (Brain Claw, 10:00)
Danshoku Dino & Yuki iino [Pheromones] NC Toru Owashi & Naomi Yoshimura [DISASTER BOX] (13:08)
Chris Brookes d. Yukio Naya (Death By Roll-Up, 12:41)
HARASHIMA [DISASTER BOX] & Antonio Honda d. Yukio Sakaguchi [Eruption] & Gorgeous Matsuno (Honda > Matsuno, Crushed La Magistral Cradle, 13:07)
Daisuke Sasaki & MJ Paul [DAMNATION TA] d. Yuji Hino & Akito (Sasaki > Akito, Crossface, 12:43)
Tetsuya Endo, Jun Akiyama & Yusuke Okada [Burning] d. Yuki Ueno, Shunma Katsumata & MAO [The 37KAMIINA] (Endo > Katsumata, Best Burning Star Press In The Universe, 19:27)
Burning get the win in a prelude match to the Final on Sunday against The 37KAMIINA. Post-main, Endo and Akiyama basically said The 37KAMIINA ain’t shit without Konosuke Takeshita. Endo says he will beat Takeshita at Korakuen Hall Sunday, and for the KO-D Openweight title at Ryogoku. Endo also ripped MAO’s favorite Gorgeous Matsuno shirt, for which MAO swore revenge. Speaking of Gorgeous Matsuno, at age 60, given CyberFight’s proclivities towards titling up older wrestlers, he may like his chances here soon.
Current Ultimate Tag League 2022 Standings:
A Block Akiyama/Endo – 6pts (3W 0D 0L) Takeshita/Ueno – 4pts (2W 0D 1L) Hino/Naya – 4pts (2W 0D 2L) Higuchi/Okatani – 2pts (1W 0D 3L) Kondo/Hirata – 0pts (0W 0D 4L)
B Block HARASHIMA/Yoshimura – 4pts (2W 0D 1L) Sasaki/Paul – 4pts (2W 0D 2L) Iino/Imanari – 4pts (2W 0D 1L) Brookes/Takanashi – 2pts (1W 0D 2L) MAO/Katsumata – 2pts (1W 0D 2L) The Final show is Sunday from Tokyo Korakuen Hall. Block A comes down to Burning v. The 37KAMIINA. Block B is still up for grabs between DISASTER BOX & Pheromones; DAMNATION TA are out, having had 4 matches (One of them was a forfeit win however). The Final will be the Block winners in the main event. Hopefully this card stands.
DDT Ultimate Tag League 2022 The Final!! - 2/27/2022, Tokyo Korakuen Hall (Wrestle Universe)
Soma Takao, Yusuke Okada & Yuya Koroku v. Toru Owashi, Toi Kojima & Yuki Ishida
3-Way Match: Danshoku Dino [Pheromones] v. Antonio Honda v. Hiroshi Yamato

Boss intro: Saito Yoshitatsu
0 notes
Text
Yoshitatsu death, is perhaps the greatest thing he could achieve. despite being only seen as a piece of rock on Nobunaga Oda road to greatness, he has in truth become numb to what other people have said about him. Replacing sadness with false greatness that he could not achieve alone.
If only...if only Hanbei had not betrayed...if only father...
“Ah, so the fool of Owari is here.” half of his voice is laced with hidden apathy but he does not come closer. Despite coming to his...Chaldea, he is one who will not, will not fall down again.
Oh son of the viper....what is your wish?
Perhaps to see a certain man again. One who only wishes for at least sweet words like a child yearning for praise.
He leans against the cold [so cold, why so cold, its too unnatural] walls of this chaldea.
“...”
He has nothing to say and instead violently rips into his dango instead, having raided [served, steal, he is the son of a warlord. He takes what he can when he can or he goes hungry].
Yoshitatsu Saito, Berserker class. Four star unit for odd reasons. The shadow of butterflies , of a sister that allowed his death, follow him.
@nobuverse
#ic#me putting plotting points on why berserker because his main weapon is a giant hammer of swords due to sw logic but also-#in this lesson its his obsession with his father death or alive that leads to somewhat berserker tendency#with easily controlled violitions and i-#i end up putting too much emotions into a minor character again#also he looks like a japanese fgo napoleon with that hair

Match Card so Far for "All Together Again"
Coming up on June 9, 2023 will be one of the biggest collaboration events in Pro Wrestling as New Japan Pro Wrestling (NJPW), Pro Wrestling NOAH, and All Japan Pro Wrestling (AJPW) join together for a one-night event entitled "All Together Again".
The event will air on NJPW World PPV on June 9th with both English and Japanese Commentary starting at 6:00 PM Local Time/5:00 AM Eastern/4:00 AM Central/2:00 AM Pacific. Down below is the match card so far.
So far, only nine matches have been announced yet the order has not. Down below is my predicted order of these nine announced matches.
Chris Ridgeway (Pro Wrestling NOAH/Stinger) and Sean Legacy (Pro Wrestling NOAH) vs. Kosei Fujita and Zack Sabre Jr. (NJPW/TMDK)
Yoshitatsu (AJPW) vs. Shota Umino (NJPW/Blackpool Combat Club)
Naomichi Marufuji, Takashi Sugiura, and Junta Miyawaki (Pro Wrestling NOAH) vs. Ren Narita, El Desperado, and Minoru Suzuki (NJPW/Strong Style)
Jun Saito, Rei Saito (AJPW/VM), Ryuki Honda, Hikaru Sato, and Dan Tamura (AJPW) vs. Francesco Akira, TJP (NJPW/Catch 2/2) Aaron Henare, Great O-Khan, and Jeff Cobb (NJPW/United Empire)
Daiki Inaba, Masa Kitamiya, and Yoshiki Inamura (Pro Wrestling NOAH) vs. YOSHI-HASHI, Hirooki Goto (NJPW/Bishamon), and Tomohiro Ishii (NJPW/Chaos)
Go Shiozaki and Katushiko Nakajima (Pro Wrestling NOAH/AXIZ) vs. Hokuto Omori and Shuji Ishikawa (AJPW)
Master Wato (NJPW), Rising HAYATO (AJPW), and HAYATA (Pro Wrestling NOAH) vs. Hiromu Takahashi (NJPW/Los Ingobernables de Japon), Atsuki Aoyagi (AJPW), and AMAKUSA (Pro Wrestling NOAH)
Yuji Nagata (NJPW), Suwama, and Yuma Anzai (AJPW) vs. BUSHI, Shingo Takagi, and Tetsuya Naito (NJPW/Los Ingobernables de Japon)
Kazuchika Okada (NJPW/Chaos), Yuma Aoyagi (AJPW), and Kenoh (Pro Wrestling NOAH/Kongo) vs. Hiroshi Tanahashi (NJPW), Kenta Miyahara (AJPW), and Kaito Kiyomiya (Pro Wrestling NOAH)
Note that as of right now neither the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion (SANADA) or the reigning GHC Heavyweight Champion (Jake Lee) are on the card for the "All Together Again" event yet the Triple Crown Champion (Yuji Nagata) is as well as all 3 reigning Junior World Champions.
Will that change after tomorrow's "Dominion 6.4 in Osaka-Jo Hall" remains to be seen. Most people are expecting 1-3 more matches to be announced. I'm expecting one more at least. Please stay tuned to all social media for match order as well as finding out if either the reigning IWGP World Heavyweight Champion and the GHC Heavyweight Champion will be competing in this big collaboration event coming June 9th in Ryogoku Kokukigan.

idk if I’ve shared the page here directly, or if I’ve just shared snippets, but if you search up “oda nobunaga letters” and click the oocities link, it leads to a page I just love.
Some short, translated letters by Oda Nobunaga with their appropriate context and some responses.
The first on the page is a letter to Saito Tatsuoki, who is the son of Saito Yoshitatsu, who killed his father who HAPPENED to be Nobunaga’s father-in-law, whom Nobunaga assumedly respected quite a lot.
“Today, Your Lordship's immoral clan is devoured by the fire of the gods, and it will soon get utterly crushed by my men.
You are my wife's nephew. For years I have been grieving to witness your cowardice and shallowness, and I didn't have the heart to unsheath my sword against you.
Not even now.
I am willing to concede a reward for your surrender, and I suggest that you do that if you still wish for another day.
I am waiting for your submission at my camp.
[signature & seal: Oda Nobunaga]”
After receiving this letter, Tatsuoki did, in fact, surrender to Nobunaga.
