last song you listened to: i can't remember exactly but i completely forgot that 'funny little frog' by belle and sebastian existed until like 30 minutes ago

last movie you watched: 'four seasons'. extreeeeemely alan aldaesque film and then i checked and its like written starring directed by alan alda. very fun and wordy with kind of a short ending. it feels like a play and a movie that's an excuse to go on vacation. i kind of wish i was a college student in an acting class so we could put this on as a play and i could be in it

currently watching: x-files... love leaving it on and sitting down to eat just as the grossest thing i've ever seen shows up onscreen

other things you've watched this year: the last dance. sports as an institution is fucked up but god. i love drama. i wish i was listening to the space jam theme right now

currently reading: i was at the library and saw 'the once and future king' and was thinking about whether or not i should get into arthurian legend finally. i know absolutely nothing about this book though i only know about gawain and bbc merlin and morgana and that YA series about merlin growing up on an island with his mom and he married a woman who could turn into a deer and there were like fire bird people

currently listening to: i was stressed out and kind of panicking the other night about the future and i listened to javelin by sufjan stevens and it clicked finally and i calmed down

currently working on: editing a big fiction fantasy book for hopefully the final time bc i'm sick of it that i wrote but tbh i can never tell if it's really bad or good. or maybe just average. but i like my little characters. handsewing pockets and patches to put on the rips in my work clothes. job apps (see javelin panicking)

current obsession: i'm sitting here and can't think of anything. i think being cozy in bed would hit right now. i bought some soft cheese recently. someone brought me fresh dates and they were really good. i think i could get into making little cute bundles of snacks to take to work like breads and cheeses and fruits wrapped up in a gorgeous cloth napkin
