disclaimer: this is funny, but because it references a lot of things i don't expect non-italians to know, it's probably only gonna be truly funny to me and other italians. so sorry for that. feel free to ask me about stuff if you wanna know what something is or if you want an explanation on a specific hc tho

Osiris: Milan, Lombardy

Born and raised in Milan. Thinks he's better than you because of it (like all people from Milan do).

Probably teaches at the Politecnico University. Everyone hates his course but he's without a doubt the best professor there.

Spritz for breakfast, lunch and dinner.

Has made at least 1 attempt on Matteo Salvini's life.

Will take panettone over pandoro any day like the old man he is.

Saint: Bolzano, Trentino-Alto Adige

I can't not picture this man being from South Tyrol like. It's such a perfect fit.

Definitely worked at the Museum of Archeology before and will NOT shut up about the Ötzi mummy.

Met Osiris this way, who most likely dropped everything and everyone and moved to Bolzano with him because no one is dumb enough to take Milan over Bolzano.

Honestly thriving.

That's it. I think this man would just live in the mountains in what is considered one of the Italian cities with the highest QOL with his posh husband and just thrive like no one did before.

Cayde: Rome, Lazio

Insufferable roman, made even funnier by the fact that he probably lives outside the GRA. Probably like. Acilia.

Acts like he lives and breathes ASRoma but he actually has no clue how football works, he's just doing it for the meme.

He does however own a SHIT TON of their merch.

Drifter: Meana Sardo, Sardinia

People think he's from Naples but no. This is a Sardinian man. A true pecoraro.

He did however live in Naples long enough to assimilate it's vibes into his personality.

Blasphemy king. Banned from the Vatican City. The Pope has a restraining order on him.

Went to Rome exactly one time to try authentic Trippa. Genuinely enjoyed it.

Most likely on a first name basis with Caparezza. Somehow.

Shiro: Campobasso, Molise

Molisian.

Trenitalia victim.

90% of people in the street consider him to be a valid vehicle when it comes to Yellow Car (iykyk).

Absolutely LOVES trash Italian reality shows and/or drama series made for grandmas.

Eris: Foggia, Puglia

Born and raised in Foggia, won a scolarship and went to study in Florence (with Asher).

Her gang smokes opium because weed is too expensive /ref

Exclusively feeds on piadinas, it's actually quite concerning.

Extremely specific: The Casapound movement tried fucking with her the one time she visited Milan and they soon found out why you don't fuck with Eris Morn (knocked a guy out and left him hanging upside down in Piazzale Loreto. No one is sure how she did it, including me, but I really enjoy the mental image)

Quick O14 hc before I go to bed: Osiris's love language is primarily acts of service paired with gifts, which makes outright stating his affection to Saint verbally somewhat difficult. He can write him letters expressing his feelings and pour his heart out into poetry, but saying things verbally is different for him (unless he's in a teasing mood). Therefore, there's a metric of sorts that can be constructed from what pet names he chooses to use, with the most simple ones often being the greatest tell of genuine affection and the more elaborate or lovey-dovey ones being an indicator of him being sarcastic or impatient

"Saint (lovingly)"- sometimes names spoken softly is affection enough

"My love"- his heart is overflowing with adoration for Saint

"My heart"- similar to 'my love' but with a melancholy twist. Typically said when he's feeling guilty about the past and can't admit it out loud

"My pigeon"- he's being cheeky and playing off of Saint's love of bird petnames for him. Teasing,

Playful, over-the-top insults, taunts, or dares- oh he's in a SPICY mood. This is usually a fairly good tell that he's looking to fuck and is about to put on a wholeass elaborate display for it. The Phoenix is an apt descriptor for him, because when he flirts, it also usually involves getting burned

"Love of my life/dearest one/heart of my heart"- if Saint tries to find a way to bring that 13 foot skeleton from Festival of the Lost inside their apartment after helping Eva dismantle the Tower decorations Osiris is going to mcfucking lose it

Okay, I've got one i've been DYING to see from Destiny. So, Imagine, our guardian, exhasted but unable to sleep due to nightmares are some such, goes to visit saint who has all his typically dad moments, guardian plops down on saints couch to hang, smash cut to the guardian just being out cold, completly dead to the world. Now, people start coming up trying to wake the guardian, and saint is just like 'if you disturb them i will throw you from this tower' moments.

Lol, gotta try that one. But it will be a short one.

It was a night like always. Nightmares, ringing in your ears and pain from the bullets in your body before you died and got revived again. With a heavy sigh you walked barefoot across the Tower, your eyes barely open. One destination in mind, you ignored all the people throwing you weird looks they saw your slumped form. Another loud yawn escaped you as you finally reached Saints hangout.

"Another bad night?", he asked lightly as he hear you shuffle towards him. His eyes were trained on you as you looked blankly in his eyes while lifting an eyebrow.

"Obviously, you are a smart one.", you retored before you let yourself fall down beside him on his cot, not caring that it may be improper. Some people definitely were judging you and a few began making their way towards you. Not that you were noticing that. You were already in dreamland, breathing lightly. Saint turned his head towards the intruder and before they were able to speak, he simply stared with a dark gaze until the other nodded and went away.

Sadly he had to do this a few times. Some were daring, going as far as ignoring him and trying to speak towards you but Saint could not accept that. Without words he would stand up, quickly throwing them over his shoulder and letting them fall down near an edge. A few times he even threw some small pebbles at them, but he never raised his voice, fearing that you would wake up from your light slumber. But he would guard you and your slumber, because that was the reason you were there, because you trusted him to protect you while being vulnerable. And damn, made that thought him proud.

Welcome to Manosouta Week 2025! We’re hosting a week-long event to celebrate the relationship between Bronco Knight and Simeon Saint (or Horace Knightley and Simon Keyes, if you prefer the fan translation names). The event will run from February 8 to February 14 and include daily prompts to choose from. We accept late submissions, so don’t worry if you don’t finish your work exactly on time.

RULES

The focus of all submitted works should be the relationship between Bronco Knight and Simeon Saint, whether it's romantic, one-sided, friendship, or something else.

Including side pairings and characters is okay, but the focus should remain on manosouta.

All types of fanworks are welcome, such as fanfic, fanart, meta, playlists, videos, etc.

All submissions must be SFW (safe for work). Some level of violence and suggestive themes is fine, but nothing explicit.

Both official translation names and fan translation names are welcome!

Please tag your work #manosoutaweek2025 if you want the account to promote your submissions. You can also tag the @manosoutaweek account. For AO3 users, there is a collection.

We don’t want to restrict headcanons to any specific prompt. That means that even though we have no prompts for trans headcanons, gender swap, mental health headcanons, etc., you’re welcome to include them in all the works you create and portray the characters the way you prefer.

Please tag your work and use content warnings if your work contains elements that might upset people, such as major character death.

You may interpret the prompts in any way you want and make your works as fluffy or tragic as you prefer.

Wakfu The Great Wave - Chapter 14

Dathura !

Her chara-design still catches me off guard, even after two animated seasons. Her appearance changed so much between the various comics, the OAV about Ogrest, Wakfu (the animation & webtoon). All the versions are gorgeous, but I have a soft spot for the Wakfu one, even if I still miss the leaves on her head.

Those leaves were one of the rare traits all the Divine Dolls shared. It also acted as a reminder of their raison d'être. They were 10 "pin-up girls" created for the sole purpose of seducing Dragons so they'd lay more Dofus. Dathura was one of the six Divine Dolls who successfully wooed their designated dragon and got them to lay a Dofus (Aguabrial; first Turquoise Dofus).

However, this Season 3 design has so many aspects that show her nature as a Divine Doll.

The sutured mouth corners reminded me of the Kuchisake-Onna from that Japanese urban legend. Her eyes are different in design compared to "organic" characters. Her skin is more like the woven fabric used to make rag dolls rather than wood or actual skin, which is a nice detail.

The scene with Dathura being connected to that tree felt like a mix of medieval fantasy and Steam-punk robot, especially when she "detached" herself from the tree. Absolute chef's kiss!

Dathura's mini-doll form is super cute with an almost heartwarming simplicity. It's quite refreshing compared to her intricate humanoid form. Seeing her transform made me miss Amalia's doll from earlier seasons.

Seriously, what happened to it?! I guess it went wherever Amalia's strange connection to the Tree of Life is. 😒 *saltier than the Dead Sea*.

It was such a missed opportunity not to have TOL in that final battle back in Season 4. Bring back TOL x Amalia, please! 🙏🙏🙏

Chapter 14 began with Queen Amalia asking Dathura for help to relieve Yugo of the pain of the poison.

Baby girl asking for a favour, looking like 🥺. I'm so weak against cuteness! She'd have asked for all the Dofus in this world, an arm and all my savings, I would have given everything without question and even thanked her for it. No wonder Yugo was so down bad for my girl: he stood no chance against that face 🥺 #AmaliaStan.

I just wished that, when Tot finally put Amalia as an attractive young lady (Wakfu OAV onward), it wasn't for my darling to become the obsession of not one but TWO overpowered yandere stalkers with a thing for blue cloaks and masks. #Justice4Amalia 😭

- Totally not hypocritical disclaimer - Any resemblance to Yugo's blue-theme clothes, his very legitimate need to hide under his hat 24/7 (until season 4, then he switched to a full cloak) or his being an overpowered god-like character is purely coincidental!

I loved the conversation between Amalia and Dathura in this chapter. It shows they have come to see each other as friends over time, even if it was built offscreen, unfortunately. Maybe Wakfu Season 5 will elaborate on that?

The passage about how certain places are shy and can only be seen by those who truly wish to see them gave me a similar feeling from that quote by Saint-Exupéry.

Or it could just be me still fixated on my headcanon about Yugo and Amalia being a happier version of the little prince and his rose. Sigh, I really thought I had won when Season 4 came out and those two got their happily ever after...only to get drop-kicked with the angst and drama from the webtoon. I guess this is me now : 🤡

Also, it's disappointing that Grougalorasalar's diminutive is NOT Rasalar but "Asalar". Like, what do you mean? I'm not going to call Grougaloragran some Agran nonsense! I understand it might be to avoid writing such long name and also to separate the two black dragons from each other in the reader's mind but... really? Asalar? Nah, I'll keep calling him Rasalar the mewing reptile, thank you very much.

According to Amalia, Yugo is still down with a bad case of poisoning, but his plot armour is still strong. Amalia and co will nurse him back to health, no worries! Soon, he'll be fine enough to save the world... or to destroy it...or to destroy it while trying to save it. You know the drill !

Oh, and still no word from those horrid Osamodas. I can't say I miss the father-daughter duo, but I also can't believe they really left without a fuss. If that's the case, this is underwhelming. What happened in the direct aftermath of the royal battle? What did the people say or do regarding the whole thing? About Amalia's fight against the (allegedly) pregnant consort of their late king and the departure of the two royal plagues? Hopefully, the next chapters will at least mention that subplot.

In other, better, happier news, my boy Joris will certainly make an appearance in the next few chapters now that his late mother and his former soul parasite (Rasalar) are back in the picture. I cannot wait to see him!

Ghost Headcanons (mostly about food)

Slugcat Shipruary , Day 14

I LOVE DEATHSEA.

Yes. It's my favorite slugcat ship at the moment. My premise forthe ship is Five Pebbles before the collapse- after requesting Rivulet to get the Rarefaction Cell, requests again for Rivulet to go retrieve his citizen. His structure will become weaker without it's function, and his city will no longer be safe. Destined to collapse soon. So of course, Rivulet goes up through parts of the crumbling city to find Artificer. There is barely an enemy in sight, and the city is filled with small bits of the rot. They find Artificer, with them- the begrudging Artificer helps Rivulet back to Moon to help her. And as Moon regains some of her function, Artificer can find comfort in Rivulet's presence, and they both heal from past injuries. Whether it is mental or physical. While visiting Five Pebbles in his status in Saint's time, barely functioning- they find a frail fluffy slugcat. Artificer instantly rushes to save the smaller slugcat- corner by a pack of yellow lizards. Artificer and Rivulet tear through the pack, at each other's side, protecting the frail new discovery. The three gain an inseparable bond- whether it is being tied to the cycles- concern- or friendship and love for each other.

And.. an answer to the ask! I don't have solid designs for my slugcats. I'm still figuring out what I want to do for them- looking at other's designs and headcanons. I'm refining my personal au over time- still.. maybe it'll be done one day! ...And a big milestone for me. Thank you for everyone who helped me reach this, 100 reblogs + 500 likes!

I know, since I also ship my guardian with o14, that I've wondered about how it would be to have one of your lovers break time itself for another, and how that could make the Guardian feel? If that makes sense?

I think I understand what you mean. So, one of Ruxiz's bigger concerns is this. He knows he's loved, he knows they care for him and want him, but he also knows he's new, he knows they havent known him as long, and he is well aware that his bond with them is far surpassed by their bonds with each other. Ruxiz was part of the team that helped save Saint, and so understands the story, saw the love they had for each other first hand. It's often Ruxiz is concerned that he may never amount enough to deserve that, that if he were to die they'll simply forget about him in time and he'll become nothing but a distant memory. Ruxiz can see years of love and bonds between them, and never had he felt jealousy for that, he adores the fact they care so much for each other, but ultimately strives for a day he can safely assume they'd be willing to break time or any other things for him as they have for each other. Or vice versa for them.

Hey, as a long viewer of your anti iroh posts, which, as a person who just recently watched ATLA, I have a very controversial theory/headcanon based on my knowledge of general psychology (not a psychologist so disregard if incorrect) and perspective of Iroh's character and by the attitude of his fans that can possibly get me hate messages and even death threats. So I came to the conclusion that Iroh expresses an uncomfortable character of NPD or particularly a certain "sub" that you will, being Benevolent/Vulnerable Narcissim.

Iroh loves to present himself as "wise, kind and fatherly," but his actions showcase the total opposite, and his supposed identity appears far more shallow and self-centred. He never properly mentors or shows to really know Zuko. Instead, he simply uses Zuko to serve as his act of penance, which is why he never meaningfully teaches Zuko to become a better person or to realise that his father is at fault and that his sister is not his real enemy. But no, instead, he lays off to do the bare minimum. He shows less to no remorse for Zuko's predicament that was caused by him for not standing up to his brother when he was banished. Nor does Iroh show any for Zuko's victims. Instead, Iroh operates under the mindset that supporting Zuko and making him Firelord will accomplish his penance. His lack of care for Azula is precisely because she is an obstacle not just for Zuko but for his "penance" as well.

It's also interesting the lack of self-awareness that Iroh has. He calls Azula crazy for doing what he did for decades. The only difference is that Azula genuinely cares for her nation while Iroh doesn't really care except his glory. He sent his son to the front lines to fight his own battles for him, which isn't that different from Ozai's treatment of Azula and Zuko. Oh, and at the finale, what does he do? Send Zuko and Katara into danger while abandoning them to satisfy his selfish desire. Of course, as you mentioned, he also doesn't live up to his own "wisdom" instead using that wisdom to appear smart and confuse others. Because in all honesty, Zuko NEVER applies any of Iroh's suppose wisdom because Iroh doesn't ever think to teach BLUNTLY to Zuko, like any basic teacher can look at Iroh and already have their hands in their face, but of course the further issue is that instead of applying basic healthy logic, Iroh instead utilises the toxic sibling rivalry to manipulate Zuko into becoming his "perfect" son. Zuko becomes a better person despite Iroh not because of him, Zuko's "metamorphosis" (aka breakdown) is the best example of how unhealthy Iroh's parenting is.

Iroh is also shameless when it comes to his mistakes. He never feels guilt or apologises to June for his blatant sexual harassment. He has no shame for being friends with the Rough Rhinos or assisting Zhao in the further conquest and bloodshed of the Northen Water Tribe. He never thinks or comes clean with his crimes against the Earth Kingdom, instead choosing to profit off the very same people he victimised. He never apologises to Zuko for being a shitty mentor/Uncle.

Iroh reminds me of ALOT of narcissistic so called "benevolent" or "vulnerable" people who will appear kind and even express self hatred but only for further validation and without taking risks or responsibility whatsoever for their mistakes, instead blaming others or doing "good" little things to create a narrative that they are "saints" and that people who disagree or despise them are "crazy or evil".

This might be far-fetched, but when you consider that to this day, the majority of ATLA fans have been juiced in this narrative that Iroh = 50 year old warmonger is a Saint who should be worshipped and that Zuko should be "thankful and grateful" of said Iroh, and that Azula = 14 year old abused child soldier who did the least messed up things and is the youngest member is demonised for being "crazy" and even Aang gets treated inferior to Iroh, well it already feels right at home with typical narcissistic narratives

I've had similar thoughts myself, but I really don't like applying medical diagnoses to fictional characters living in a very different society, so I never quite articulated them. Certainly Iroh seems to be an extraordinarily self-centered person who puts major effort into pretending not be so self-centered.

So here's my chronology (headcanon) pertaining to the Villefort family (with Hermine as a bonus) :

October, 3rd, 1787 – birth of Gérard. The 3rd of October is also his name day, and in the republican calendar it is the day of Helichrysum stoechas (l'immortelle in french). It means that the last time we see him he's 50 years-old.

April, 14th, 1794 – birth of Renée de Saint-Méran. She's born just before the end of the Reign of Terror. In the republican calendar, it is the day of the pigeon, which is known for its affectionate nature. Funnily enough, it is also Maximilien's name day.

October, 18th, 1802 – birth of Hermine. October 18th is the name day of Lucien (her lover, *wink*) and in the republican calendar it is the day of chili pepper, given that she is a woman of character. I also wanted her to be born the same month as Gérard, because they're bound by a (love) child.

February, 25th, 1813 – birth of Héloïse. I wanted her to be born the 25th, as an omen for the age she'll die (25 years-old). In the republican calendar it is the day of Rhamnus alaternus, whose fruits are red and turn to black.

September, 27th, 1817 (canon) – birth of Benedetto. His father would have been 29 years-old and his mother 14 years-old.

May, 20th, 1819 – birth of Valentine. I had a hard time picking up a day because of all the contradictions in the book, but the 20th of May is, in the republican calendar, the day of Medicago sativa (the lucerne) which is actually mentionned in the book. Her father is 31 years-old then, and her mother is 24 years-old.

February, 23rd, 1828 – death of Renée. Yes, her death is two days before Héloïse's birthday, by design.

March, 1st, 1829 – wedding of Gérard and Héloïse. Gérard did respect the one year of mourning before remarrying, but he probably courted Héloïse during that same year, which is why Mme de Saint-Méran resents him. Édouard would have been conceived very soon after the wedding. Gérard is 41 years-old, and Héloïse is 16 years-old.

January, 4th, 1830 – birth of Édouard. In the republican calendar, it is the day of the bunny, which supposedly was a bad omen for sailors. The number 4 also is close in pronounciation to death is East Asia. His father is 42 years-old then, and his mother is 16 years-old. He's eight when he dies.

As for headcanons for you as buddietommy lover I have this one:

Tommy is the one to start talk about new kids, but he's insecure buddie will think he doesn't love Chris enough. Both Buck and Eddie lovingly call him idiot for thinking they don't see how much he loves Chris

And another one: Buck lets Tommy cook anytime he wants on HIS kitchen, but Eddie is allowed only if Tommy or Buck check his movements. He maybe better thanks to saint Linda, but not good enough for Buck to let him use his kitchen unsupervised

For bucktommy the one we talked about but more:

They adopt a lot of kids, and especially older kids and even some kids who has police arrest in their biography. It's hard work ofc but step by step their kids open up to them. Their son who they took when he was 14 and who was arrested for thief and fight was one of the hardest kids to show that they are actually not going anywhere. But eventually they found the way to get to him. now they look at their son who graduates with PhD in engineering they know they did good and all the hard work were worth it because you can save any child with giving them love in the right time
