The cursed Music Box part 1:

Synopsis: Mulan gets a new ancient cursed artifact. An old music box that was made in the 1900s. She takes it back to the sanctuary with her to add it to her collection. Everyone is uneasy about her collection of haunted things.

Mulan had arrived to the world of the living or earth. She went to go meet one of the bronze saints for a date.

She met Ikki at the train station. As usual he wore a casual outfit that matched his personality. She wore black as usual, black dress, with a black hat, some black sunglasses, some black pantyhose and black knee high high heels boots.

“Nice to see you again Ikkius…..you haven't changed one bit ….. darling.” She flashes him a flirtatious smile.

“It has hasn't it …..usually we don't see each other unless we have-”

“Ssshhh! We're in public silly…..do you want the world to know our secrets?” She says with a firm smile.

“It's not like everyone knows about our semi weird relationship.” Spoke Ikki nonchalant.

She took a sip of her herbal tea. She glares at him with her rose gold eyes through her sunglasses.

“.....Stud, just tell me the real reason you called me here……you don't work this hard to make a date for us this special unless you want something in return. So…..what is it? Are we breaking it off again?” She says in a serious tone.

“Fine……I'll get to the point…….let's break it off again……I need ……more time…….. I'm sorry.” He says with a heavy sigh.

“Okay.” She says nonchalant as she continues to eat her food.

“What? I mean that's it? You're not gonna throw a fit?” He asks a bit taken aback.

“Darling you and I have known each other for quite a while….when have I ever thrown a fit? You and I have a mutual agreement we both want one thing from this relationship…. I don't see a future with you and neither do you…. So why would I cry about something that will never happen? So please stop being silly and stop making it sound like I throw a fit every single time when I don't.” Replied Mulan with an indifferent expression.

Ikki only nodded his head. He took a sip of his drink but he continued to gaze at her intently.

“After this I'm going to that cursed Antique store to add to my collection.” Replied Mulan with a smile on her face.

“Oi…. can't you find something else to collect? One of these days those haunted objects are gonna bite you in the ass Mulan.” Replied Ikki with an arched brow.

“Well you let me worry about that besides I'm a Wiccan remember.” She chuckles softly, smiling bewitchingly at him.

“Oh yeah…..forgot about that.” He spoke quietly to himself.

As soon as they finish eating he tries to hold her hand but she pulls her hand away. “You broke it off today, remember?” replied Mulan indifferently.

“So what……..it doesn't mean we can't have fun still….don't be such a stick in the mud.” Replied Ikki with a sly smirk as he still held her hand. She just rolled her eyes.

They arrive at the haunted antique store. The owner greets Mulan with a gleam in his eyes and then he looks at Ikki and looks at him with disgust.

“So Gus! What do you have for me today?” Replied Mulan enthusiastically.

“I got something new arrivals! The monkey's paw!” Yelled Gus with passion.

“Nah I already have something like that Gus anything else?” Replied Mulan with a smile.

“How about this haunted samurai armor! It was found in Takeda Shingen’s castle!” Replied Gus with even more excitement.

“Hmmm…..tempting….having a warlord like him roam around the sanctuary might scare my saints plus I could talk to him when I'm bored.” Replied Mulan considering her options.

“You talk to the dead?” Asked Ikki surprised. Mulan just nods her head yes.

Suddenly an eerie soft music begins to play. Mulan follows it and she sees an old fashioned 1900s music box playing by itself.

“Hey Gus…..how much for this music box?” Asked Mulan with her face shining with joy right now.

“My little black raven no! Not that one! It comes from a horrible place!” Spoke Gus with dread.

Mulan’s grin widens even more and her eyes sparkle with excitement. She squeals. “I want it!” Mulan squeals ecstatically, jumping up and down.

“Oi! Didn't you hear the guy! He said it came from a horrible place! What if it's something you can't control!” Replied Ikki firmly.

“Hush! I'll be fine.” She says buying the music box and a few of the samurai armors.

Suddenly Milo appears behind her. “Your majesty Empress Mulan! It's time to-Oh god are you seriously bringing all of this back with you? Seriously! More haunted shit! Your majesty please collect something else-”

“Shush!” She flicks Milo’s forehead.

Milo sighs heavily and touches his forehead. He then takes the samurai armors and follows behind her. He then notices Ikki and he sneers at him provocatively.

“You know she doesn't see a future with you….you really suck at being in a relationship. So why don't you just give up and run home to your brother.” Laughs Milo mockingly at Ikki as he walks away with the armors following behind Mulan.

“Yeah and you think she notices you? Keep convincing yourself that you have a chance with her pal…..because she doesn't even spare you a passing glance.” Ikki clapped back with a smirk as he then turned and left the antique store.

“Hey! Milo! Stop lollygagging and get a move on! These things won't get home by themselves! By Gus!” Yelled Mulan at the top of her lungs.

The two soon went through the portal and quickly arrived at the sanctuary. The saints bowed to her but then flinched when they saw her new additions to her haunted and cursed collection.

“Your majesty Empress Mulan! Why do you keep adding more of that dreaded stuff to your collection! Do you know how many times Shaka had to bless this entire place just so all of us could be put at ease! There were many! And now he's not even here. He went on a prayer retreat and we don't know when he's going to come back!” Yelled Aphrodite in annoyance.

“Oh Dite you’ll be fine Sweetie besides when have you ever seen a ghost or entity wandering around the sanctuary. It's all in your head. Now go do something useful like go on a mission or maybe once I get out of my bath you can brush my hair and help me pick out a new outfit.” Replied Mulan with a sneer.

“Alright, fine.” Spoke Aphrodite with an annoyed sigh.

But what no one knew was that things were about to get crazy.

GETTING TO KNOW SANTIA MULAN: PART 1:

She is the elders granddaughter

She doesn't give a shit about Athena nor the gods.

Her grandmother was a G when ruling the sanctuary, she fought alongside the gold saints and managed to take down Zeus, Poseidon, and Hades before.

Her grandfather who is the elder now, was responsible for the mass destruction of Olympus by bringing forth a huge asteroid to its headquarters.

Mulan is like Marin and Sheena combined but she actually isn't afraid to show how powerful she really is. She doesn't take shit from no one, she tells people how it is and the truth, even if it's sometimes brutal.

She doesn't care what others think nor values their opinions if they're negative or whiny opinions.

She is fair and just even though her way of seeking it is a bit harsh.

She can be very intimidating and she can have her saints and santia's on their feet and bow down in an instant in order to keep her from going off.

Her family is royalty, it's in her blood to become the next empress of the sanctuary.

She loves collecting ancient artifacts even if they are sometimes cursed. Once she collected a supposed artifact that was heavily haunted by an entity that wasn't very good and the saints and Santias kept saying that they kept seeing the ghost of a woman in white with long hair covering her face that supposedly chased them all around. It wasn't until finally Shaka came back from his usual prayer retreat that he basically exorcised the ghost. He scolded her about and told her that any artifact she brought back he would personally make sure that they were blessed and any entities would be annihilated.

When Mulan isn't on duty she loves rock and K-Pop, and J-Pop rock, she loves putting the volume up while she does some chores.

She loves wearing black like Lydia from beetlejuice she also loves wearing dark makeup.

Misty hates her cause she's prettier than him, he thinks she's a freak not to mention she basically has him as her errand boy because he had followed someone else's orders to get rid of a few bronze saints.

She knew Saga was slowly losing his sanity and humanity so she spied on him every day and she knew he had locked up his twin brother Kanon plus killed Aioria's older brother and basically killed Shion in the process or at least tried to Kill Shion in the process. She had brought Both Shion and Aiolos back from the dead but had them hidden until it was the right time.

Saga doesn't know it but she had put a gps on the back of his neck to keep an eye on him. She had spoken to her grandfather about Saga losing it and her grandfather let her handle it.

She kept Saga on his toes by giving him subtle hints that she knew what he was doing and to back off making him swallow hard with nervousness. (They had dinner together and she basically read his tarot cards and scared him with the Ouija board and she put a little something in his drink to make him hallucinate about the ghosts of Shion and Aiolos who are still alive and hidden at the moment.)

She's a white witch a Wiccan but she also believes in God. She uses her wiccan powers or knowledge for good.

She loves pranking her saints but obviously she doesn't go overboard.

She loves annoying Aphrodite and Camus.

She loves hanging around Milo and Dohko Alot especially around Milo.

She's mostly getting scolded by Aioria, Camus, Shaka, and at times Saga.

The five Bronzies she basically let them stay on Earth cause she has a crush on four of them. It's not that she doesn't like Seiya but she hates Saori, plus Saori isn't really a good person plus Seiya took all of the credit instead of the other four.

She once fought with Saori and won.

She just really hates Saori.

When the gods would sometimes try to start trouble she would always go and flirt with Hades and she put on an innocent Facade and then her wicked side and he would fall for it and he would interfere with Zeus's plans.

She once went on a date with Ikki and it went awesome. The night got fiery and spicy. Let's just say he left a mark for her to remember her by. They have an off and on relationship cause the dude is still hurting from his former lover's death.

She once accidentally had a bath with Shiryu and Hyoga. It was more like an accident. She was bathing in her huge pool like bath and the two randomly fell through the roof of the bathing area and landed in her bath. She practically and shamelessly had them bathe with her in order to keep the gold saints from killing them and it's not like they hated it either they enjoyed the view. Supposedly they were being chased by a huge monster but they couldn't see it so it was dark and they just randomly jumped and landed in her bath.

Milo likes, likes her but will never admit it.

Tokyo Mew Mew New Season 2 (2023)

Second (and final?) season of the Tokyo Mew Mew reboot! Always here for some good magical girls! I never finished watching the original series, so it was nice to see how the story goes. I wouldn't call it amazing, but it's a cool series. I wish they would make a third season for the A La Mode arc which came out later, but it seems they might be ending it here, Idk (I've never read the manga either)...

Subs since there's no dub.

Saint Seiya: The Beginning a.k.a. Knights of the Zodiac (2023)

Live-action movie adaption. Would I watch more if they do it? Yeah. Was it good? Not really... I'm not saying it's horrible, but eh, it was weak. The absence of 3 out of 5 boys is definetely felt. I mean, I didn't expect much of it, so it's not like I was dissappointed! ^^' I'm a SS fan, so I was in to see what they cooked.

I watched it dubbed at the cinema (there wasn't a subbed session but it's fine!).

One Piece: The Series Season 1 (2023)

Live-action adaption of the first arc. My first contact with the franchise! Charismatic group, the power of friendship, adventure in a new world, fun pirate crews... I loved it. Still pondering if I should get into this giant beast of an anime. It's just...So long. Never-ending. I'm sure I would like it but dear lord, is it long. Anyway. For now I'll content myself with waiting for the second season.

I alternated between dubs and subs! I think I prefer subbed but I wanted to check out the dub and it was also very good.

Porco Rosso (1992)

A Ghibli/Hayao Miyazaki oldie! I was keeping an eye out for the Ghibli Fest going on in the US this year and I realized this was the only movie in the list I hadn't watched yet, so. It's definetely not among my favorites, but it was a good movie. A Pig-faced bounty hunter pilot in and adventure through Italy. Needed a little more Gina thought!

Subs cause there's no dub.

Saint Seiya: Knights of the Zodiac Season 2 (2022)

Second season of the 3DCG reboot of Saint Seiya, covering the first half of the 12 Temples arc. It's definetely still way below the classic series, but the battles had quite an upgrade from season 1! Also no time spent on original characters I don't care about :) And of course it's always a pleasure to see the Gold Saints... and the scenes the classic series didn't adapt! I'm glad season 3 is coming next year!

I watched it dubbed (sadly they changed the og cast in my country, but the new one did a good job too).

YashaHime: Princess Half-Demon Season 2 (2022-23)

Second (and final?) season of the Inu-Yasha spin-off sequel. Look, Yashahime has a lot of flaws, but it has its qualities too and personally I enjoyed it. Nice to travel around the feudal era in this world with familiar and new characters. I would watch more but I think that was it? Would definetely want them to make some changes... I heard the manga is different, so...food for thought!

I didn't have access to the dub when I watched s1 but this time I did! (I'm not very fond of parts of the dub, but overall it was good).

Spy x Family S1 (2022) and S2 (2023)

After seeing gifs since last year I finally sit down to watch it! It's cute, it's funny, and it's cool! Spies, assassins, school, AND family shenanigans! Loved it. Bring me more. Looking forward for the upcoming movie and for the s3 announcement.

I watched most of it dubbed but the dub is a few episodes behind the subbed version so I finished season 2 in Japanese.

Digimon Adventure 02: The Beginning (2023)

I didn't even watch Kizuna but I heard it wasn't necessary so might as well go, specially since they actually put this movie in theaters in my country and got most of the og dub cast... Sadly I wasn't impressed by the movie. I thought it was pretty meh. Could have given more for the group to do (it was mostly about the new character). Anyway... PS: The opening sequence was LOVELY though!!! ^^

Yu Yu Hakusho (1992-94)

I used to watch it back in the day, but never watched all of it until now! Good stuff. Not perfect, but it's a great series!!! Charismatic group, cool friendships, cool big bads, spirit detective shenaningans, youkai, and of course, battle tournaments!

Watched it dubbed, of course (except for the specials, since they weren't dubbed here). The series was in my watchlist for years but I guess knowing there would be "new" content is always a good push, which brings me to:

Yu Yu Hakusho Season 1 (2023)

Live-action adaption of the first 2(!!) arcs. A pleasant surprise! The biggest problem here is definetely that it's too short. There's other flaws too, sure, but still! I had my doubts but turns out I really liked it, overall positive impression. I really hope they make more in the future!

I've watched it twice, once dubbed and once subbed!

Now that the gods are gone. When I go feral over Ben Kenobi (and the mere suggestion of older Cody with a hint of white in his hair and- ok, back on track) and say I love old men, it’s serious, I mean it. Do you know Death Note? Okay, so the dad of mr serial killer boy, and the father-figure/butler of mr detective boy, right, what if they both survived the blood bath with a shitton of trauma to deal with, and while healing they fell a little bit in love? This fic is thick like a milkshake, every single sentence takes a bit of canon and unravels it to my liking.

Nothing but Gold. Thrawn/Padmé I wrote for a rarepair exchange. It’s the power couple we need more of. It’s canon divergence from the end of Thrawn: Alliances, with Anakin prisoner and Padmé taking Thrawn to the Republic... and severely fucking with Palpatine’s plans in doing so. Thrawn doesn’t even understand Basic, but he damn well sees Palps is a shady bitch. Padmé gets really angry. Pals, when I tell you I plotted this fic. This never happens. It was hard work and I enjoyed every minute of it. I remember going to the library to write at one point. There’s a kickass playlist to go with it, too. 

with your scars and your lonely heart. you ever fall head over heels for two minor villains in an 80s shonen anime and they take over your life? No? Well. These two have been to hell and back together, and I mean literally, hell. And their relationship just. it does things to my poor heart. They are terrible people (right until they stop and get some actual redemption going in the background), but they are always, always in each other’s corner. And I have loved them for, uuuh, numbers are hard, but coming up on half my life at this point. Anyway, this is a fic in which one of them is the reincarnation of a Greek god(dess) - and their canon already has plenty of Greek gods.

Hated You from Hello. The Force works in mysterious ways and I fell in love with Corran Horn, and also fell into shipping him with Tycho Celchu (heroic, emotionally scarred, total Gondolin Catnip). They would totally hatefuck in canon, but I decided to make them hatefuck in a canon divergence, because why the hell not.

a friend of the devil is a friend of mine. what if you’re like a Padawan and your Master is an evil sack of dicks, but he’s good to you. And then he dies doing a single heroic thing, and you’re left adrift and without a role since you never completed your training? Except this is Saint Seiya, so it’s not called Padawan, but like. what if. Master-Learner bond and complex feelings and child soldiers (in that “media for kids that has kid protagonists fighting” way, but then you take the concept for a spin and write fics trying to reconcile them to their actual ages) (and this is cheating my own damn parameters a bit but the Italian version of this is better)
