Man, it's been a while since I thought about rebirth

Favorite character: Aruma my beloved <3. Honestly, a part of me expected this one to change over time, but no. My sense of humor is the same as it's always been.

Least Favorite character: Honestly don't think I have one. There are quite a few who are kinda "meh" for me, but I don't think there's anyone in the cast I really dislike anymore.

5 Favorite ships (canon or non-canon): Itsumori, seiyumu*, rokujima, osoroki (let's go rarepair), and Nico x Maiko (whatever their ship name is)

*more for the drama of it all than as a proper ship, if I'm being honest

Character I find most attractive: Probably Aruma or Seishi, but honorable mention for Kazuomi as well.

Character I would marry: Saiji seems like he would make a good husband, ngl.

Character I would be best friends with: Also probably Saiji. He definitely seems like he needs a friend and we're probably equally matched in social aptitude anyways.

a random thought: Rebirth voices, for as well known as it is, would probably have been a titan on par with DRA/SDRA2 had it not been cancelled.

An unpopular opinion: Mitsunari is overrated. He's not a bad character or anything, but people simp for this man so much when I have forgotten he existed more than once. Think I know why so many people have the hots for him tho...

My Canon OTP: Gonna say seiyumu on the basis that I'm pretty sure that it's the only truly canon ship (kinda) that got explored. Again though, my previous point with this ship still stands.

My Non-canon OTP: I still really love osoroki. I have literally no reason to love this ship as much as I do, but I do.

Most Badass Character: Aruma in terms of having a fucking whip, Mikoto in terms of pure competence. 

Most Epic Villain: Zen. Fucking. Katagiri. He's awful and I love him so much.

Pairing I am not a fan of: There’s honestly nothing in terms of ships that I like, seriously hate. 

Character I feel the writers screwed up (in one way or another): Honestly, I don’t feel like anyone truly screwed up any of the characters (although I know the folks more into og rebirth probably disagree with me on this) but there are a handful of characters where I feel like they may have had one intention while writing them initially and then switched gears later. I think Aruma seems like the most obvious case to me, but I may be biased.

Favourite Friendship: Aruma and Kazuomi. Honestly, I feel like they’re perfect for each other and they really do well to try and keep each other in a good state of mind. You can tell Aruma really has his best interests in mind and wants to see him improve himself and you can also tell Kazuomi really cares about Aruma as a person even if he tries to act tough.

Character I most identify with: As of late, probably Akira... I’m literally a NEET, idk what else to say T-T

Character I wish I could be: Kazuomi is transition goals. That’s it. That’s all I’m gonna say.

Some Kegy x Marin fluff please?

Here, take some fluff from happy sweethearts, because I am a sad and bitter person, so hopefully it will warm me up a bit on this chilly autumn evening! ....at least I hope...

Kegy x Marin

-Oh boy, the height difference… Kegy has to lean or squat down all the time to sneak a kiss, most of the time he just sweeps her off her feet, he can be a bit dramatic if he so desires

-Kegy found out Marin’s favourite flavour and then worked days on making the perfect cupcake for her and as soon as he got the recipe down, he made one for her almost every day, being a weather forecaster is a hard job after all, she needs to keep her blood sugar high 

-They have nicknames for each other, Kegy calls her Muffin or Cupcake and Marin calls him Sunshine 

-Marin’s classmates found out about her relationship by pure coincidence when she casually mentioned her boyfriend and the whole class just exploded because that was the first time they heard of this ‘boyfriend’ and were ecstatic to meet him. Marin told them how much of a sweetheart he was, he was a baker and super nice, he makes the best cupcakes, he is very gentle etc etc

-Needless to say Kegy didn’t look like what anyone was expecting, not at all and Ayumu probably got a heart attack when this tall emo goth boy with hard glare walked in and was indeed confirmed to be Kegy, Marin’s boyfriend

-So while Seishi was fanning Ayumu air to wake him up, Saiji attempted to make some smalltalk. The problem with that part wasn’t Kegy being scary, it was Saiji being bad with social interaction

-So after Kazuomi awkwardly pulled Saiji out of Kegy’s personal space they were finally able to properly talk and….Kegy showed them how much of a sweetheart he was

-Kegy has the bad habit of starting the first encounter grumpy so people immediately get the wrong impression from him, but then he immediately switches to excited in mere seconds and it was like a completely different person was standing before him. He was excited and bubbly and loved to give hugs and he even made cupcakes for all of them, wasn’t that nice

-So after Kegy was accepted into the family it was all smooth sailing. Marin likes to hang around in Kegy’s bakery when she doesn’t have to work and just nap or chill or talk, dependant on her mood. It just felt warm and comfy in there, like a home you never knew waited for you in there. 

-Marin noticed something though, sitting on a windowshill with a mug of hot chocolate in her hands. It was raining outside and she just arrived, being wet and a bit frozen, asking: “Do you never eat what you bake, sunshine…?”

-Kegy just got a new batch of banana bread out of the oven, looking at  her, before confiming: “Oh, no I really don’t. I don’t really like sweets! It’s impressive that you noticed!”

-That confused Marin: “But...why do you bake so many sweets if you don’t even like them?” It didn’t really make sense to her. 

-Kegy smiled: “Do you not forecast the weather when it rains?”

-”Wha- of course I do! Big Sis brings smiles to everyone, even when it rains!”

-”And that’s the thing, Cupcake. Just because I don’t like sweets doesn’t mean I should stop making them, don’t you think? There are people who like rain too.”

-These two cuddle a lot, Kegy’s uniform gets really warm next to the oven and in the sun and that makes it a perfect nap spot for Marin. Not that Kegy minds, sometimes it just messes a bit with his work and a cake almost burned to ashes, what a dingus

-Kegy makes snacks for Marin and visits her at her weather station, sometimes even bringing stuff for the rest of the team. He gets paid for it though, that stuff is delicious and they are not assholes 

-Also they share umbrellas when they walk together and it rains. Marin likes to jump into puddles and Kegy likes to spend time with her

-What a cute and happy couple

Seishi x Ayumu where Seishi is still a (SPOILER) hitman or something and Ayumu still has shitty luck. But there's no killing games! Yay?

Seishi stood on the building rooftop, a sniper ready on the edge of it. He yawned, and obviously wondered "Why'd he taken this job?"

The answer? Good cash. It's not like he was gonna have a mid life crisis over killing someone or anyone for that matter. He just needed to do his job and do it right. Kill any witnesses and such. Finally, he saw a light flicker on in the apartment where his target lived.

Seishi smirked as he strode over to the sniper and put a finger on the trigger, aiming at the window where he was sure his target was going to sit by. From the file, he was told that his target sat at 7 PM by the window, exactly to feed an animal.

The target sat right by the window at 7 sharp. Just like expected. Seishi felt his finger on the trigger, but he couldn't pull it..?

His target was a man named Ayumu Fujimori. He lived alone and had so much bad luck, the government put a hit on him afraid of what he would do. Ayumu had short grey hair and magenta eyes that..

That Seishi had fallen for. Seishi groaned and smacked himself mentally, telling himself to PULL THE TRIGGER. But his body still rejected the command.

Ayumu smiled when a strange raccoon came up to the window from the fire escape. The grey haired man gave what looked like an apple to the raccoon and it scurried away with the apple in it's tiny paws.

Seishi realized he couldn't pull the trigger no matter how many times he screamed at himself to JUST DO IT. The reason? Because he fell in love, head over heels, for his target.

Just a few days later, Seishi saw that Ayumu needed a roommate for rent purposes and because he kinda had too much room for himself. So what does a love struck idiot do?

Move in with the guy of course. And the first day he stepped into the apartment with his stuff was a new beginning.

"Ayumu, who's this?" A man asked. He had pale skin and a suit with blue hair neatly parted.

"O-Oh! This is my new roommate, I think his name is Seishi Yodogawa?" Ayumu said before Seishi gave him a kind smile.

"Yes, my name is Seishi Yodogawa. It's nice to meet you both." The blue haired man stood up from his sitting positon on the couch.

"Right, my name is Saiji Rokudou. It is a pleasure to meet you Mr. Yodogawa." Saiji bowed.

Seishi looked towards Ayumu, and he got a curious stare from the owner of the apartment.

"You're kinda mysterious, huh?" Ayumu asked. Seishi gave a chuckle.

"You're like an open book to me, Ayumu."
