Hi! I’m Sage and this is my ask game sideblog where I will post whatever ask games I think of. I made this blog just because I saw the concept of doing ask games was becoming less popular and I wanted to try to change that! My main blog is @buffporcupine.

hello. i’m sage, or helena, and my main account is @buffporcupine. my other sideblog is for lawmane content, and it’s @lawmane-enthusiast. this blog is made for me to post about my writing.

i have more than one work in progress, and more than a few works in long term storage, or works on the backburner. i’ll make oc rambling posts and i’ll make storyline rambling posts and i’ll definitely make oc shipping rambling posts.

i’m going to make summary posts for each of my wips, and character intros for each character. i’ll link those below once i get them posted. for now, this post is incomplete.

HEADCANON A:

Light: The only reason he bought that gamecube was because it was popular. That's why he only has Mario Golf because he just picked up the first multiplayer game he saw. He hadn't touched it in years before Ryuk showed up.

Mello: The reason he is so drastically different to L and Near is in part because he purposefully tries to separate himself from them. His own style is an act of defiance against what he was raised to be.

HEADCANON B:

Light: He would absolutely 100% fall for a deez nuts joke or something similar and not get it.

Mello: had a Warrior Cats phase.

HEADCANON C:

Light: I've noticed he never kills people he has a personal connection to by his own hand and always makes someone else do it. This is because he's afraid he might not have the willpower to do so but he's afraid to admit it.

Mello: idk if this counts as a headcanon but I have this entire scenario in my head where like. Yk when you're dying you'll get like a fever dream bc your brain will set off a ton of signals? Well when Mello realized he'd died he'd hoped to find Matt waiting for him on the other side but instead he found L. Because despite his anger and spite towards him he still craved L's approval and wanted to make him proud.

HEADCANON D:

Light: Yk that scene in the Ace Attorney anime where 9 y/o Miles asks to watch a cartoon and his dad goes "wow that's weird you usually only ever watch the news"? That's Light as a kid.

Mello: He and B got along great actually. They fucked with the other Wammy kids for fun.

I mostly said it like that to make fun of Desmond but the guy probably just thought it sounded cool and applied it to himself while fucking up the pronunciation because aint no way he speaks french lmao

Layton spoilers but

Basically that character is an english dude who made himself an alter ego called "Jean Descole" to generally cause chaos in the name of archaeology or something and wallow in his own grief but the english dub is the ONLY one that pronounces it "descolay" instead of "descoal" so I just assume that Des has no idea about anything french and introduces himself as "descolay"
