The 3 Amigos!!❤️ @sheldricktrust Even as a young elephant, Sagala has always had her friends’ backs. Three years on and one graduation later, not much has changed — as you can see between the first photo, taken at our Nursery in 2017, and the second photo squeezing her pal Emoli, snapped just recently at our Voi Reintegration Unit! When we rescued Sagala in September 2017, Tsavo was in the grips of a terrible drought. She was found all alone, with a pack of lions waiting perilously nearby. Now, Sagala is four years old and working her way back to a life in the wild at our Voi Reintegration Unit.
