kazuma kiryu ❀ spending time with him

deceptively simple, kiryu feels the most loved when you decide to just exist near him

oftentimes he feels like he's undeserving of company or that his mere presence is a danger to his loved ones, so frankly your insistence on being close to him is going to freak him out at first

he might even start avoiding you in the early stages of a relationship - don't take it personally, it's just that he loves you so much that he's anxious about hurting you

the more and more you stick by him, the more he realizes that he doesn't have to do everything on his own

in fact, he likes not doing everything on his own, a wave of relief every time he remembers that he has someone he trusts and admires deeply at his side

it slowly heals that deep emotional wound he carries that for someone to love him means for them to be hurt

the reason i hesitate to use the word 'quality time' with him is that he doesn't even really need you to be doing something with him

just being in the same room as him, focusing on whatever you both are working on separately

he's never been one to be comfortable expressing himself in words, the silence between the two of you like a warm blanket instead of awkward

i could get into my hc that he's autistic so it's a form of parallel play to him, but i digress

if you look over at him, you'll see that there's a rare soft smile on his lips

wordlessly will walk over to you and pull you flush to his side gently, pressing a tender kiss to your forehead

"i like when you're here," he'll grumble softly to you - which in kiryu-isms, really means 'please stay by my side like this forever'

goro majima ❀ letting him vent/talk about his feelings

oh boy i have so many thoughts about majima and how hard of a time he has accepting love

he's a master at self-sabotage - he doesn't know how to process feelings of love or affection, nor does he really feel that a piece of shit like him deserves it (see: how often he tells others that they'd be better off without him)

so he often chooses to bury his feelings instead of doing something about it

it was much the same when it came to you - he loves you so much, painfully so, but there was always that annoying voice in his head that told him that that you had better things to do than spend time on a mongrel like him

he'll keep his conversations surface-level with you at first, but ask him how he feels about everything and validate what he says

it'll catch him off-guard at first, and he might even try to put up a front and say he doesn't like talking about that sappy shit

but he'll eventually start giving in, going on long rants about all the crap he had to deal with that day or his 'tragic fuckin' backstory' while you listen intently

the more you wrench his ribcage open and force him to expose his real heart to you, the more he starts falling helplessly for you

not only are you letting him acknowledge and let out the emotions he keeps bottled up close to his chest, but you're seeing every ugly, rotten part of him and you still love him

now, that doesn't mean don't hold him accountable when he's kinda being a dick

praising everything he does will just make him feel like you're putting him on a pedestal or seeing some idealized version of himself you made up in your head

which will give his brain an excuse to run out on you before he eventually disappoints you

so don't let him run - from his feelings, from accountability, from you

the mad dog doesn't like to be collared, but for the person who looks past every facade he puts up and lets him just be goro majima - he'll happily put himself on a leash if it's you who's holding it

taiga saejima ❀ giving him physical affection

for most of his life, saejima was treated like a dangerous beast due to his size and that perpetual scowl on his face

it only got worse after the ueno seiwa hit - shackled like a circus tiger as he was dragged from jail to jail, never able to escape whispers of 'the man who slayed eighteen' and 'the stone-cold hitman' that make him sound more like an urban legend monster than a man

saejima has his own pride in his strength, and for the longest time he just accepted that he was the untouchable, scary beast that everyone made him out to be

it's not until you come into his life and start to subjecting him to little casual touches of affection that he realizes how touch-starved he is

grab his hand, cuddle him, catch him off-guard with kisses to his weary face - it makes his chest tighten in a way he doesn't understand just yet

he feels silly that such small, soft things are affecting him this much at first, but every casual little touch you give him makes him feel less like the boogeyman and more like a person

the fact that you trust him enough and feel safe enough to him to attach yourself to him... he feels like he could cry

it takes a while for him to start returning your touches, but when he does he suddenly turns into the biggest teddy bear

every time he holds your cute little face or holds you protectively against his chest at night, he's taught that his hands can do more than just inflicting pain

he'll never, ever admit it out loud but he loves it the most when you hug him, your arms barely able to wrap around his thick torso but trying your best regardless

he can't help but chuckle as he feels your body meld against his, patting your head and wrapping his arm protectively around your shoulders

he knows people would gawk if they saw how cuddly he gets with you, but he can't really bring himself to care

he's not a monster, a beast, stone-cold, or a killer when he's in your arms - just a big, soft tiger

shun akiyama ❀ taking care of his physical needs

akiyama SUCKS at taking care of himself, often relying on other people (i.e. hana-chan's scoldings) to remind him to eat or get his work done

it's not like he's completely helpless, he insists - he at least keeps himself clean and well-groomed

but being homeless for as long as he was, he eventually just forgot how to attend to his needs

even now, with all the money in the world, he's still unlearning how he had to just suppress his hunger pangs when food was an uncertainty and sleeping on a regular schedule when shelter wasn't always guaranteed

his body does it unconsciously now, often attending to his paperwork for hours on end without even noticing that he's hungry or tired

he feels embarrassed when you start slipping him bentos here and there when he's so wrapped up in his work, often giving you an apologetic smile and profuse thank you's

but the fact that you cared enough to notice, and cared even more to go out and get him something to eat makes him remember why he fell for you in the first place

he might protest weakly when you pull him away from his work when you notice his eyes are getting sunken and his body's lagging behind

or roll his eyes with a smirk when you snatch a cigarette from between his lips and smush it in the nearby ashtray, reminding him that he was whining about needing to quit smoking just yesterday

but he's truly, genuinely thankful that you're forcing him to take care of himself, the fact that you're invested enough in his wellbeing to scold him

he'll be damned though if he becomes one of those boyfriends that treats you like his mother, though - he may call himself a bum, but he's not THAT much of a bum

expect to be taken care of in equal measure, akiyama insisting to pay for your meals and run your errands for you to show with his actions, not just his words, how cared for you make him feel

akira nishikiyama ❀ praising him

yeahhh i couldn't not talk about nishiki's inferiority complex and how damaged his self-esteem is

his cool-guy bravado very thinly covers up a mountain of insecurities

he doesn't really feel like he does much of anything right, too pathetic to be a scary yakuza and too cowardly to stand up for himself or what he believes in

so anytime you genuinely praise him and tell him he did a good job with something, the high he gets from it is strong enough that he could probably quit nicotine, he thinks

he preens when you compliment how stylish he looks or how well he styled his hair - he takes a LOT of pride in his appearance, probably one of the few things he doesn't really have insecurities about

he can't help but grin ear to ear when you cheer for him at karaoke, or clap and whoop when he gets a strike at the bowling alley

he admires you so, so much, and that verbal affirmation that you think just as highly of him soothes that little boy inside that never thinks he's good enough for anything or anybody

every time you compliment him, he gets so giddy that he'll grab you by the waist and start pressing kisses all over your face

"i did that for you, baby," he'll claim proudly, his eyes shining with affection

the first time he cried in front of you, he was shocked that you didn't call him a crybaby or told him to man up

you just held him gently and wiped away his tears, whispering that he did the best he could and that you were so proud of him

he absolutely crumbles when he hears that, hugging you close and crying even harder :(

it kills him (in a good way) that even when you see him at his most vulnerable, you don't think he's pathetic or weak, just someone who needs the reassurance and comfort he's been deprived of his whole life

i'm not saying you'll fix him, necessarily - but perhaps the entirety of 1 could have been avoided if someone just told him he was doing a good job

daigo dojima ❀ letting him be weak

from the moment daigo was born a dojima, he was expected to be as strong, proud, and cold as the rest of his family

even when he left the tojo clan after the ryuji incident to not have to carry that expectation anymore, he still had a gang of people who started to follow him and put them on a pedestal as their leader

and now, as the sixth chairman, he has even less opportunities to let his guard down, not with thirty thousand people looking to him as an example and his enemies lurking at all times

daigo's resolve is strong, having long since accepted his lot in life as a leader - but he can't deny that he just gets so exhausted sometimes

so when he can come home to you, who doesn't expect him to be the sixth chairman, a dojima, or hell, even a yakuza, just daigo, is when he feels the most loved

sometimes just lays his head on your lap when it's just the two of you on the couch in the living, the feeling of your fingers threading gently through his jet-black hair and just being able to relax making the stress in his muscles melt away almost instantly

his greatest peace is when you both lay down to sleep at night, holding him in your arms and whispering to him about how hard he works and to get all the rest he needs

he hums softly and nuzzles into the crook of your neck, not saying anything back as he revels in the feeling of your fingernails scraping against his scalp as your digits comb through the tresses of his hair

there's no expectations, no danger, nobody expecting him to make a decision on the spot or suppress his personal feelings for the good of many

just his darling lover who sees him for who he is, feelings and weaknesses and all, and still loves him

he knows that there's a long list of things he has to do tomorrow and put on a strong face again, but for now he lets himself cuddle in your grasp, letting your words and gentle touches soothe him to sleep

ryuji goda ❀ when he gets to show off for you

a very... simple method of affection for a very straightforward man

he's just got some somewhat dated ideas about what it means to be a man in a relationship, and a lot of them revolve around flexing how strong and skilled he is to you

nothing makes him more satisfied than seeing your eyes shine with awe when he helps you move an insanely heavy piece of furniture or when he shows you just how much whiskey he can knock back in one go

it's less of the showing off itself that makes him feel loved - he's confident in his strength and his skills so he needs no reassurance in that department

but your cutely surprised reactions and the fact that you're so openly proud to call him your boyfriend that you'd let him strut his stuff out in public to show the world how cool and strong he is... yeah, that's what makes him happy

he gets so determined to show off for you that he sometimes gets in way over his head about things he usually wouldn't give a shit about

for example, when he tried to get you the cute stuffed animal that you wanted from the ufo catcher

ryuji scoffed and told you to step aside, confident that he would get it first try

until he didn't. and didn't on the second, third, fourth, fifth tries-

he let out a string of colorful curses as he watched the claw uselessly pinch at the round little sparrow, his jaw tensed in concentration as he shoved another coin into the machine's slot

ignores your reassurances that he really didn't need to do this for you, retrying until he eventually gets the damn thing to drop in the hole

he feels stupid until he hands the round bun-chan toy to you, your eyes wide and a smile on your lips

as soon as you hug him with a squealed thank you, he laughs, patting your head and telling you that it wasn't a huge deal

ryuji's not one to usually lie, but your praise and admiration is, unsurprisingly, the BIGGEST deal to him

as he wraps his arms around your waist to walk the streets of sotenbori, showing off both you on his arm and the little plushie he won you, he knows he would move both heaven and earth if it meant it would make you proud to call him your lover

It’s been a while since I played Y5, and I honestly can’t remember a lot about Watase, so I have left him out of this one as I’m scared I’ll absolutely butcher his character - I’m so sorry. I’m planning on replaying Y5 once I’m finished Judgement and Y6 (which I’ve just started replaying now too), so maybe then I’ll post some hcs for him!

Kiryu:

Cute angel Kiryu would be so flustered and shook, coming home to find you waiting for him in lingerie. His eyes would widen, and he’d take a sharp intake of breath, his eyes slowly taking you in. He’d pull a classic Kiryu move, and attempt to look away, acting all respectful, even though the outfit is clearly for him. He’d just be so flustered, his brain would temporarily stutter, and he wouldn’t quite know how to react.

You’d likely have to approach him, gently taking hold of his chin and angling his face to look down at you, letting him know that it’s okay. He’d be so turned on seeing you all dressed up for him, and he would gradually get over his flustered state once he begins to take you in more, his gaze studying every inch of you.

You’d have to guide him to the bedroom, and then start leaving soft kisses on his neck, jaw and lips. He’d soon start responding back to your touch, once the initial shock has worn off. Kiryu is a total switch, he’s naturally more dominant, but is more than happy to let you take the lead at times too, and this would be one of those instances. He’d just be in awe of you to be honest, so you’d need to take control and tell him what you want him to do, and he’d be quick to oblige.

Kiryu likely would prefer more classy types of lingerie, like a silk chemise or babydoll. Something that covers you a little, but still shows enough skin to really get his heart racing. He also is a boob man, so something low cut that gives him a teasing view of your breasts would really have him heated.

Daigo:

Daigo would definitely be pretty flustered coming home to find you in your lingerie, more so because of how unexpected it is. He’d attempt to ask you what’s going on, but he’d stutter, and his cheeks would be the prettiest pink colour. Who knew the chairman of the Tojo Clan could be rendered speechless this easily?

He’d gather himself pretty quickly, his eyes raking over you as you walk towards him, grabbing his tie and pulling him in for a deep, heated kiss. He’d respond very eagerly, one hand burying itself deep in your hair, whilst the other takes hold of your waist, pulling you to him as close as possible.

Once in the bedroom, your lingerie will probably come off fairly quickly, however if you’re wearing stockings he may request that you leave them on. He thinks your legs look so sexy in them. Daigo would also be a complete sub when it comes to you wearing lingerie, as he is completely under your spell. It won’t be long before he’s a quivering, groaning mess beneath you.

Daigo would probably adore full lingerie sets on you. For example, a basque, matching thong, a garter belt, and stockings. He would find lace material so attractive, and also it feels nice under his touch, so anything lacy will get you bonus points.

Majima:

You just know that with Majima, his reaction is going to be very over the top and dramatic. He’s not used to surprises, especially not ones like this. He would freeze as soon as he spots you, his eye widening dramatically. He’d probably yell out a ‘whaaaaat?’ in surprise.

Once over the initial shock, which would happen fairly quickly, Majima would be all over you, his hands roaming your body and turning you this way and that, so he can get a good look at you. Saejima:

He would initially attempt to look away, trying to be more gentlemanly, but internally he would probably realise this is a dumb move. He would be questioning himself why he looked away, which would probably render him further embarrassed.

Though he’s awkward and unsure of how to react, he would be so appreciative of you for doing this. Once you approach him and gently place your hand on his cheek, softly guiding his gaze towards you again, he would clear his throat, attempting to gruffly pass you a compliment by telling you that you look nice, but his cheeks would be so red still.

Sex with him following this would be so soft and gentle. He’d be so appreciative that you’ve taken the time to surprise him, that he’d want to return the favour with some romantic sex. The lingerie would definitely end up on the floor rather quickly, as he’s a simple man, and generally prefers to see you naked.

what makes minedai even sadder is that we never rlly see daigo try to build a bond with anyone else like he did with mine it rlly shows how badly it effected him like yeah he reached out to shinada in y5 but that’s rlly it and he probably would wanna leave him alone after that and not involve him in any yakuza stuff so i don’t think they would’ve hung out or anything like that afterwards. All he rlly had were saejima and majima but they were more like babysitters than anything, wish we saw more of their dynamic tho like we did with majima and daigo in dead souls since that was fun and we were lowkey robbed but in canon he’s just as lonely as he was before majimas promise to kiryu. And mine is the only person he really had a meaningful relationship with romantic or not they were still really close and we don’t see that again with daigo ever (from what i recall after y3) ok sorry for rambling LMFAO

even with shinada, he reached out to him more so out of 'duty' and trying to make up for the misfortune that befell him because of yakuza than wanting to rekindle any kind of friendship they might have had in high school (though it sounds more like they were just acquaintances if shinada needing a second to remember who daigo was is anything), so yah i doubt they really had any kind of bond afterwards

dead souls really was the only time after Y3 where we got to see daigo be more sociable with someone, but its as you say majima and saejima are more like retainers than close friends

Yandere Yakuza but everyone is glazing the yandere so they can let their ship sail (ESPCIALLY IF ITS A HAREM(*/ω＼*))

Platonic yandere Rikiya and Haruka tell how cool and respectable their aniki/uncle Kaz is. Did you know that his aniki can take down a whole bull!? Or did you hear from Haruka that her uncle Kaz managed to fight off two tigers at the same time!? He's also a very soft man, Haruka, and Rikiya might even tell you embarrassing stories about Kiryu so you can loosen up to him. (please don't let Kazuma hear the stories, he is so embarrassed)

Ryuiji's subordinates always hype their captain every single time, whenever you compliment someone based on their strength or looks, his subordinates would just pop out of nowhere and tell you how amazing their boss is! Didya' know that the boss can fight even when he's heavily wounded, he has such a strong spirit! The guy you just complimented, psh he has nothing compared to the boss, the boss looks make's most girls crazy, he is such a daring bad boy, isn't he? And I think this line of logic would also fit Daigo and Mine, like their subordinates glazing their boss.

Ooooh boy, for our glorious bear Saejima and his sister Yasuko. Yasuko would always tell how amazing her big brother is! So courageous and all, she would even set up dates for the both of you for the chance that you guys would be together. Yasuko would be like the wing woman (is that what you guys call it?) to Taiga. Oh did you know that Taiga actually has a hobby for sculpting? He might be a tough-looking guy but he in fact sculps for fun, her big brother is just talented like that! If you have time you can ask him to ask you how to sculp, he is a very good teacher too! (please she just wants to be an auntie)

Platonic Yandere Masumi telling you that both his sons (Ichiban and Masato) are great candidates if you ever want to have a boyfriend or something like that or even the same thing with platonic Yandere Kazama with his boys, Nishki and Kazuma. (...they want to spoil their future grandkids man)

Aaa many different characters and different personalities, yet most of them would be embarrassed and flushed when they ever hear about what they were doing (Ryuji and Mine would be smug about it though.)

Like A Dragon Gaiden: The Man Who Erased His Name.

...SPOILERS BELOW... READ AT OWN RISK...

Okay, so I have waited for this game for such a long time. I went in originally with no idea what to expect for this 'mini in-between game' from RGG. But I did know I wanted to know more about what Kiryu Kazuma had been up to since his fake death in Y6 and then appearing in LAD.

For me, this game scratched that itch. It gave me a look at Kiryu's new life as a dead man and a puppet to Daidoji.

I remember playing through it and being so excited at the possibility that he would be helping the Tojo again. I just wanted to see him back in his own Yakuza glory days of kicking ass! Plus I had played LAD, so I knew we did get a mini sort of reunion with the gang gang! But as Kiryu and the reunion with Daigo, Majima and Saejima were not the main characters in LAD, we didn't really get anything substancial.

THANKFULLY... In Gaiden, we get that proper reunion. We get the dialogue, and in my opinion even a bit of a pouty Majima 😉.

The fight at OMI HQ with the Gang Gang was the best thing for me. I honestly lived for it!

I did love most of the game to be fair, I would happily give it a solid 8.5/10, and that's me being stingy. In my opinion it could easily be higher.

The castle coliseum was so much fun for me. I never usually hang around in them much in any of the other games, however this one... I felt like I spent hours just fighting and trying to get S ranks in everything. It probably helped that I got to fight as Majima the majority of the time, and if anyone knows me, they know how much I LOVE Majima's fighting style! He is my all time fave!

One of the only critiques I have on the game, is the lack of random encounters. Anyone who is anyone, knows a Yakuza game is full of them crazy situations that Kiryu would randomly get into as he is just casually walking down the street. However in this game there is none of that. All missions are through the Akame network. Don't get me wrong, I see why we don't have all of the random encounters. It's only supposed to be a small game, not a full fledged one. But it is just something I noticed.

It didn't bother me enough for me to say the game was weak or anything. I still thoroughly enjoyed the missions that we got through the Akame Network.

Another thing I loved... was the breakdown of Kiryu.. When Hanawa shows him the video of the kids and the drawing that Haruto drew.. watching Kiryu break and sob. It broke my heart. It was the first time In the game that I felt the weight of his choice from Y6 and how much he wished he could be with them. Honestly it was beautiful even if it was gut wrenching to witness.

Now... selfishly, if I could have had more Majima, Saejima and Daigo screen time and interaction with Kiryu.. that would have been brilliant. I feel like we have not seen them together in such a long time that my heart ached, longed and wept for it. The way I feel nostalgic for it, honestly made me cry as I was playing through that fight outside with them. I was button mashing whilst trying to blink away my tears because I missed them so much!

Anyway, I have rambled on so so much about this, but I think that goes to show how much I really enjoyed it! I will happily play it again. :)

Maybe I will revisit Y0 and then play through them all again :D

Yakuza Headcanons: Watching Spooky Movies

Oooooo it's the spooky season ain't it. Hello hello I rise from the grave to bring you some fresh headcanons for the season. For those with asks still in the inbox, I SEE em, just been busy with my horror movie marathon. Anyways, some headcanons below da cut to tide you over. Also welcome bouncing baby boy Ichiban to the gang!

Kiryu Kazuma

Isn't scared easily by much of anything so it's really easy to get him to watch horror movies. Mostly watches them because someone else is too scared to watch them alone. He's the person they can hide behind or who will tell them when a particularly horrifying scene is over.

Gore doesn't bother him as much as something or someone looking creepy or offputting will. Kiryu still won't get scared but he will get uncomfortable. Most of the time he just reacts by going "Ah... oh!"

Fond of the classics and will gravitate towards movies with a strong and likable protagonist. Likes The Evil Dead, Aliens, and Halloween. Directors don't matter much to him.

Majima Goro

He's a mixed bag. If a movie is well put together, then it can scare him pretty easily. He's most scared of ghost stories or paranormal things. Least afraid of slashers because he thinks he could just beat them all up.

Cannot stand jump scares. Sometimes he evens yells at his TV at home in irritation, saying things like "Oi, whaddya keep makin' loud noises for? Sheesh!"

Honestly, the weirder the movie the better. It might seem stereotypical for someone who looks and acts like Majima but he thinks the whole point of horror is to be interesting. Fond of Takashi Miike movies like Ichi the Killer, Audition, and Over Your Dead Body.

Akiyama Shun

Doesn't watch a lot of movies because he totally falls asleep during most of them. He'll at least give it a shot if you ask nicely though. Honestly more motivated by the fact you might cling to him during the scary parts than anything.

As much as Akiyama is a total ladies' man and romantic at heart, he always laughs whenever characters start being intimate during horror movies. He makes jokes out of it, saying things like "Babe, would you still love me if we were in a spooky movie?"

Movies with a good soundtrack actually help him stay awake. Jump scares annoy him though because if he falls asleep, the noise makes him panic. Fond of monster movies or movies about animals like Jaws, Shin Godzilla, and The Host.

Saejima Taiga

Genuinely not scared of a single darn thing. If you want to watch it, he's down to give it at least a try. He might nod off if he's tired or bored, but he tries his best not to. Horror comedy is okay with him too although he might not get all the jokes.

Most of the time he sits with his arms crossed, paying full attention. He's kind of funny in that he makes noises like "Heh" or "Hmph" when a character is caught off guard by something. Makes an occasionaly "Tsk" sound at jump scares. Otherwise he's not reactionary.

Particularly fond of slashers, probably because those usually have villains that are actually kind of his size. He enjoys the Friday the 13th series, particularly Jason X.

Tanimura Masayoshi

Type of guy to be like "Ooh let's watch this, I heard it's really scary" and then proceed to either get scared out of his wits or say something like "Wait, that's ALL?" at the end. Bases most of his movie choices off of other people's recommendations since he's usually too busy to randomly go see however many movies he wants to.

Doesn't really like horror that's super in your face. Gets more scared by the tension itself than anything. Always has movie snacks on hand.

Found footage is probably his most favorite type of horror. Likes The Blair Witch Project, Noroi, and REC. Fond of director Koji Shiraishi.

Ryuji Goda

Doesn't watch a lot of horror movies but like Saejima he's not scared of anything. He's also the type of guy to drop everything to spend time watching a movie with his partner. Gets a kick out of being a shield or protector during scary parts.

Likes movies with a lot of personality and campiness. Slow burns or psychological thrillers just put him to sleep. It doesn't matter if it's good or bad, as long as it's entertaining.

Didn't think he'd end up being much of a horror fan but he's quite partial to John Carpenter. Likes The Thing, They Live, and Christine.

Nishikiyama Akira

One of the bigger scaredy cats of the group. Won't suggest a horror movie but will totally act like he's not at all afraid if you ask to see one.

Honestly, the two of you end up just kind of holding onto each other during scary parts or pulling up the blanket almost over your eyes when a character is about to die. Violence doesn't necessarily bother him but excessive gore kind of annoys him.

Enjoys a good ghost story movie but only if you'll watch it with him. Anthologies are also good too since it offers so much at once. Likes Ju-On, Ringu, and Tales From The Crypt.

Mine Yoshitaka

Likes certain horror movies. Not scared of much but he does get noticably uncomfortable with torture movies like Saw or Hostel. He just finds it to be weird more than entertaining.

Fond of more classic monsters like vampires or werewolves. Mine's the type of guy to actually have a decent home theater setup, even if he doesn't get much time to use it, so he doesn't go to the movie theater much.

Has a soft spot for some of the really old classics in the 30's like Frankenstein or Nosferatu. His favorite horror movie is Interview With The Vampire.

Daigo Dojima

Probably the only one of the boys who actively enjoys slow burns and more psychological horror. He doesn't get opportunities to watch movies much but he does have an interest in the medium as a whole.

Particularly loves anything with spectacular cinematography. Good directing, lighting, or costumes really impress him. Kind of interested in some of the technical aspects as well. Also probably the only of the boys to ever look something up on IMDb.

Especially fond of movies by Kiyoshi Kurosawa. His favorite horror films are Kwaidan, Cure, and Pulse.

Tatsuo Shinada

The biggest scaredy cat of all of the boys. Will attempt to watch a spooky movie with you at least once just for the sake of trying but will honestly just close his eyes if he feels overwhelmed. You HAVE to hold his hand though.

Probably the only one of the boys who actually gets squeamish easily. Gore and blood make him uncomfortable, although he has SOME tolerance in general. He'd just rather watch something that's not super heavy on bloodshed.

Horror films with a particular visual style, especially super colorful ones, make it a lot easier for him as he can actually see what's happening and he feels less worried. Movies like House or Suspiria are good for him. Also likes super over the top movies like The Lost Boys or Killer Klowns From Outer Space as they're so hilarious to him that he forgets to be scared.

Kasuga Ichiban

Somewhat easily scared. He gets more shocked or surprised than scared, honestly. The movie HAS to be interesting to some degree or he will just conk out and there will be no waking him. Doesn't mind jump scares since they help keep him awake at least even if the movie's bad.

Having said that, he does enjoy taking the time to see a movie that's genuinely just really good and talking about it with you afterward. Movies with really good effects tend to impress him a lot. It's also more visually memorable.

Tends to like movies where the main character has special powers. Partial to zombie movies since a lot tends to happen and involves multiple characters. He likes 28 Days Later, The Dead Zone, and Carrie.

you can practically see the way his pupils dilate when he takes his turn to bite, the increasing closeness of your lips driving him up the damn wall

it only takes another flutter of your eyelashes and an infuriatingly small nibble on your end before kiryu's biting down hard, snapping the stick between your mouths and just pressing his lips to yours

his hand comes up to cradle the back of your neck, his frustration pouring into the kiss before he finally softens, pulling away to look you in the eyes

the tips of his ears are a bright red, and his brow is furrowed in the way it does when he's thoroughly embarrassed

"that... wasn't half bad," he mutters, "but if you wanted to kiss me... you could've just asked"

despite his fluster, he can't get the image of you so close to him with the little treat between your lips and the taste of chocolate on his tongue when you kissed out of his head for the next week

When showering on his own, Ichi would be a fan of cold showers. He has one each morning, and he finds the cool water tends to wake him up properly, and makes him more alert. He only really has warm showers if he’s feeling ill, or if it’s especially cold out…or if he’s showering with you.

He would be so shy the first time you shower together, as he wouldn’t really know what to do with himself, or where to look. He wouldn’t want to come across as a creep so would actively try to avoid looking at you at first, until you laugh at him and tell him to chill out. Then he’s gonna relax and realise he’s been overthinking the whole thing.

Sometimes, showering with Ichi would end in sex, and other times it would just be completely innocent, with the two of you washing each others hair. There would be no expectations.

You two would probably be a lil goofy in the shower, styling each others hair to make it stick up at odd angles, or creating bubble beards with the shower wash. Very cute and sweet.

Nanba:

Man is frugal, and very conscious of his water/household bills. Showers are gonna be quick, speedy and efficient. He probably would be eager to shower with you because firstly, saves on water and bills, and secondly, he gets to see you naked. There is no down-side.

Tbh Kiryu is not my favorite character by a long shot. I don’t hate him by any means! I just find other characters more interesting and like their personalities more. 0 and 8 are peak Kiryu for me, and I think it has a lot to do with the amount of character interactions: he is still learning the ropes in 0 and relies on and interacts more with other people (Nishiki, Tachibana, Oda, even his interactions with Kuze I found pretty cool). In Infinite Wealth, just the fact that he has an actual party to interact with elevated him to me—that dynamic intro where he and Ichiban tag team Wong Tou, or the little moment where he, Chitose and Tomi are filming the video and just... hanging out and being chill for a change, for example. Those little moments made me like him much more when I used to be pretty indifferent aside from like, his interactions with Haruka which I found the cutest thing ever.

Since I was indifferent for the longest time, I never thought much about which ship of his I like most. I really dig him and Kaoru though, but I’m not sure how popular that is 😭 Also, Nishiki, of course! I’m not too picky though, I think I’ve read fics of pretty every Kiryu ship just cause I thought they looked interesting and were well-written. My favorite AO3 author has written Kiryu with Majima, Nishiki, Saejima, Ryuji, even Someya, and I eat up all their fics like nobody’s business.

Man, it’s been a while since I thought about Adachi x Date though 😭😭 I’m more into Adachiwagi, but what little I’ve read of him and Date has been very good so like, potential new OT3 here 👀 Adachi not getting any luck with women but being a hit with old men is such a funny concept to me. the closest we'll ever get to an rgg x persona game is the costumes for p5 dancing in starlight i fear but at least makoto can enjoy her video game about a dragon being like a yakuza

for rgg i cycle between ryuji, saejima, and kiryu- i mean ive had at least three dreams of hanging with ryuji.. and he was as cool as i thought hed be there ... if not him then going fishing with saejima would be nice :) or bbqing with kiryu :)

for persona hmmmmmm ... i think wandering around target for three hours with the dojimas would be fun

So I've been watching Isshin for a week now, IM ALMOST DONE BUT I JUST SCENARIOS IN MIND (Sorry if this is gonna be lacking, I still haven't finished Isshin (┬┬﹏┬┬)

So imagine yandere Yakuza isshin harem with a darling who is a betrothed? LIKE LIKE HEAR ME OUT

Maybe you are in a respectable clan or you think your parents think that you're ready to be married whichever the reason but when the news spread out that your parents were letting you get betrothed, THEY WERE GOING INSANE

The moment Ryoma heard the news he was suprised, he was very much worried about your opinion about getting married off, and he would confront you about the subject, he would ask if you agreed to this or were forced into this, for this scenario let's say you said yes, then at first he would be very much suprised but when you reassured him that you really talk through it with your parent then he would be more relaxed. I'm not saying that he would immediately start courting but it did interest him one bit, he wouldn't really show it but he DESPERATELY wants to court you, but since he is still a wanted criminal he wouldn't make any big moves. He would protect you or walk with you so you feel safe and if there was anyone who tried to court you but made you feel very uncomfortable, he would first give them a stern talk but if the guy just ignored his warning he would unsheath his katana. In short, he would protect you from any suitors that really try to sweep you off your feet, but once all things are cleared and he is no longer a wanted man, then he would ask your parents to marry you.

Now for Soji, if he is ecstatic when he hears about the news, he will boisterously visit your parents' house and may or may not threaten them to let them marry you, Soji is an impatient man, and whenever he sees you with Ryoma walking around and bonding, he would feel very pissy, he would then disrupt your little bonding time with Ryoma then he would put an arm around you, he would steal you away from Ryoma. Soji then would take you out on dates maybe hiking so both of you can be far away from most of your suitors, he would pass this off as him trying not to do his paperwork or such, but he would say such bs excuse even though unironically the scenery he chooses was jawdropping and he even bought some food with him. But Soji would cut to the chase and tell you that he is courting you and he is not willing to go down.

Toshizo would also be ecstatic when he heard that you were being betrothed. Toshizo's position as the deputy chief of the Shinsengumi already gives him a good spot as a suitor, and Toshizo would also use his power to remove other low-life "suitors" who will only marry you for respect, money, or fame. He will have a talk with your parents he will make sure to leave many good impressions, his calm and stoic persona tricks many people, but people who know him know that he is determined to have you by his side. But of course, you have to be impressed too, he will take you away from Ryoma or Soji from your outing and will take you out on a date. Toshizo wouldn't outwardly say it but the whole village knows that the deputy chief of the Shinsengumi was planning to make you his bride. Toshizo knows that you also caught the eyes of his men, so he wouldn't hesitate to give them more work than needed.

Shinpachi would be nervous about approaching the subject to you, I mean he knows that his fellow samurai are also taking an interest in the proposal. Like Ryoma he knows that it is very much overbearing to be with many people in one day, so he would most of the time use his position to protect you and drive away any unwanted suitors, he would talk to your parents and he really tries his best to be on their good side and since Shinpachi is very strong he has to prove to your parents that he would never do anything to harm you.
