Pile 1/Cat

This was a bit of a confusing pile, since it seemed like there were multiple messages in it that didn't seem to go together.

The first tarot card for this pile was the Knight of Pentacles. This card is often associated with slow progress. A lot of focusing on details with this card.

The second tarot card for this pile was the Page of Pentacles. This card is associated with learning new skills, likely something that you can use to earn money/further your career in some way with this card being a Pentacle.

The third tarot card for this pile was The Emperor. This card is often associated with taking charge and being a leader. I feel like this is what you're working towards and/or trying to behave like.

The kipper cards for this pile were House and Thoughts. This suggests some thoughts about the house occurring for you. This can be thinking about some changes to the home or the dynamic in the home.

The first tarot card for this pile was the 9 of Pentacles. This is associated with independence and having worked hard to get to where you are at.

The second tarot card for this pile was the 6 of Cups reversed. This card is often associated with the past. With it coming out reversed, it suggests that there may be a bit of living in the past or dwelling on the past quite a bit.

The kipper cards for this pile were Pathway and Child. I feel like this can be interpreted a few ways. The main one that I feel is that you are being encouraged to make a choice with an innocent, unbiased perspective. Destiny 2 Deck of Whispers Oracle/Tarot Card Meanings

For those that play destiny 2 and bought the deck of whispers, and were wanting to use it in oracle and tarot readings, I have tried my best to create some meanings to attach to the cards based on the game's lore. I have only played d2 for a few years, but my bf whose played since the dawn of d1 helped me out.

Of course, these are just my interpretations based on the game and my expierence in the spiritual community. Feel free to add your own, share an idea in a comment, etc.

I The sisters - femininity, power in three, three, Hecate, the non-nurturing mother but the protective one, knowledge, partnership, family, sacrifice, transformation, growth, regrowth, starting over, hatred

II The witch - Savathun, lies, deception, cunning, trickery, buried honesty or honesty hidden in riddles, riddles, confusion, trust vs. untrusting, getting what you want, manipulation, taking what you want, dark mother, cost of change, cost of growth

III The adherent - (these are dedicated snipers) focus, dedication, aiming, all for a particular goal. Tunnel vision. Setting your mind to something, rigidity, stubbornness, inaction, stagnation. Goal setting, productivity.

VI Lacuna - void. Gravity, time, distortion, manifestation, emptiness, nothingness, and thus infinite possibility, death, negation, the unknown. Safety in the unknown. Pause. Invisibility, moving without being seen, keeping secrets for good reasons.

VII Liminal - arc. Electricity, shocking, wake-up calls, unexpected, static, messages through the air, sudden realizations and epiphanies, things clicking into place, inner knowledge, intuition. Change is inevitable and needed.

VIII Ascension - solar, fire element and everything associated with fire. Passion, energy, movement, anger, creativity, power, fortitude, inner child, children (think the sun and strength cards). Destruction and creation.

IX Lament - Oryx, Trans people and trans rights. Masculinity. Divine masculine. Absolute destruction. Feeling like you break everything. Hurt, pain, grief. How strong is your will? Are you being influenced by others? Defeating/breaking boundaries of outside influences. Freedom from chains. Terrible-truth. How knowledge changes you.

X The lie - the Witness telling Savathun the Traveler was bad, thus making them turn to the worm. Lies, deception, darkness, otherness, gossip, outside-influences, expectations, society, disagreements and disputes. Chaos. Relying too much on others, gullibility.

11 - Diving for Light

I'm doing this as my daily work for Hekate, mostly to get to know the deck, as well as to hone my intuitive skills in reading. I also want to practice reflective writing, and I'm sure at some points, I'll just draw a card, see it as a prompt, and let my imagination run with it. So that's the purpose of this. I want to attempt intuitive feelings first before I check the book meaning, then see where that leads me and what stands out. Will I come to some kind of grand relevation through this? Maybe, maybe not. Maybe I will just have a tumblr filled with reading notes idk. But I won't get better if I don't practice, so. Here we are.

Also warning, these may be very long, or not very interesting to anyone other than me so. >_>

My initial impressions of this card are that this is the face of a mermaid. Her hair is made from seaweed or sea grass of some kind. She has scales around her face, and what looks like some kind of metalic armour or collar. She has two seahorses around her third eye, and two that hang by her neck that feel like they might otherwise be earrings. She has a calm expression on her face, but her eyes feel like they're looking further away. Whatever she's seen, it's nothing concerning. The top of the card is lighter than the bottom, where you don't actually see the top of the water, but the faint hints of seaweed that fade to white. There are also air bubbles around her face.

Diving for light suggests the need to dig deep before being able to surface. To dive below and leave burdens behind before it's possible to reach the surface and break through the water. I'm carrying burdens I need to let go of because they're holding me back, holding me down. Being underwater can make things weigh less than they do on land, so the true weight of the burdens may not be as obvious until I come up for air.

Water, too, is darker the further down you go. Deep ocean is basically pitch black. Light can only penetrate so far into water before all the wavelengths are absorbed and there's nothing left but black water. Drawing this card may signify I've reached that point of being too far down, and there's a need to come back up. To start moving upwards with healing work so I don't feel the need to hide in the darkness, blind to the work that needs doing.

As a child of Sobek, I've often had meditation experiences where we've travelled underwater together. I lie on His back, holding on tight, and He zooms through the water. I am never afraid of drowning because I don't need to breathe. I am an underwater creature when I'm travelling through water with Him, just like I am a creature of air when I fly with Heru as a bird.

I'm at a point in my life where I'm coming back to practice, too, after three long years of pandemic, post-grad study, and burn-out. Finding those connections again and returning to Sobek's light resonates with me here. Swimming through the water to find Him again, like I always do. He is the water. He is the Nun, the primordial waters of creation. He carries me on His back from the depths of those primordial waters and brings me to life. I rise like Ra on His back, bathed in His radiance. He brings me back, cleansed, healed, more aware of my own limitations and skills, welcomes me back and says, I missed you. I missed you too. HIs gentle presence, His warmth, the way He holds me close and offers me guidance.

We are diving to surface. Going deep before returning. Finding the wounds that need healing and leaving behind burdens to lie on the sea floor. I don't need them anymore. I don't. Let them go. Let them go. I'm diving through the water on His back and I'm not afraid. I'm not drowning. The water is my world. I move freely in it.

Diving deep and getting in touch with my own emotions may also be a call here, because I am notoriously Bad At Emotions, as an autistic person. I don't feel anything very strongly, positive or negative. So getting to know how I respond to things is not always easy when joy, happiness, and being in a good mood all feel - and are expressed - very much the same to me. So perhaps this exercise in card draws is going to help me find that light, to better understand myself and my own emotions. Water is often associated with emotions, after all.

The book says,

"The oracle of Diving for Light speaks of a time when you are called into darkness through life circumstances, situations, relationship challenges or inner struggles that defy clear understanding."

And tbh, given it is the dark half of the year for me, and is a time when I do tend to be more reflective and do inner shadow work, this feels appropriate.

"When diving for light, one must be willing to bear the darkness and understand it has a purpose, much like winter does upon the earth."

Which reminds me of some experiences I had with an octopus spirit some time back where it held me in the water after flooding it with ink. I could see nothing, but there was no fear. It was about addressing the shadow, the darkness, and being okay with that. Sitting with it, and with myself, almost in a sensory deprivation kind of way. Being aware that I cannot escape myself, but that this is a safe space to do this.

Which, WELL HELLO. Guess who's had an urge to do some protection work rn. >_> I have plans for some protection bottles for the house, but I think I will also do some personal talismans as well for extra protection for myself. Regular cleansings and purifications should also help to keep the gunk off and keep me safe from bad shit. I have been neglecting regular purifications ngl, and I need to get back into it. It does help so much.

But I do also heed this as a call for more formal shadow work too. There's fears there that need conquering, and I can't do that if I keep away from the darkness. It is a test, but one I can handle. Because I'm Sobek's child, and His strength is my strength. The water is my playground. We sink into the Lake of Faiyum like Ra to join with Wesir in the darkness of the night, and we will rise again like Ra, reborn, shining with radiance in the morning.

Hi! I'm doing alright. For the first question I used the tarot and for your second question I used the oracle cards.

Tarot

The first card to come out was Judgment. This suggests that you're being called/urged to do something. This is often associated with something that will give you a sense of purpose. I feel like this may be something you're already noticing a bit (with things like repeating 4s, etc).

The second card to come out was the 6 of Cups reversed. This can suggest a heavy focus on the past and a bit of living in the past. This can be something as simple as a lot of reminders of the past coming up these coming months.

The third card to come out was the 8 of Wands. This is a very busy card. This suggests that things will be/feel busy for you for the first part of the year. This can also suggest that you'll feel like you're having a lot of stuff thrown at you and are kinda needing to just go with the flow.

Under the deck was the Page of Wands. This can be associated with spontaneous communication. This can be you stepping out of your comfort zone a bit (possibly getting pushed out of it with that Judgment card). There could be some unexpected communication from someone from the past too that contributes to that 6 of Cups reversed.

Oracle

The first oracle card to fall out was Grounding - Go Deep, Explore Your Roots. Making sure to ground yourself will be important for you. The roots part also makes me think a bit about ancestry type stuff, so if there are any questions/mysteries that you have about that (or like ancestral cycle type things) that might be something to look into a bit.

The second oracle card to fall out was Crossing Bridges - It's Time For Healing, Connecting, Mending, & Releasing. This suggests that there is some issue that requires healing. I don't feel like this is necessarily a new issue since you had that 6 of Cups reversed.

The third oracle card to fall out was Rainbow Blessings - Blessings Are Showering Your Life. This does hopefully suggest some good things coming into your life, despite the challenges that are also coming at you.

From the top of the deck was Joy and Delight - Open Your Heart To Joy. I feel like this is basically encouraging you to try to focus on things that bring you happiness, even when it may be difficult to do so. It can also be encouragement to pursue things that make you happy.
