Gorgon literally getting that dog in her. Loudly. Every night. So much they have an entire hall just to themselves for it.

"Unbelievable...Tch."

Saber Medusa has just arrived in Chaldea, and has yet to be affected by the heft that has overtaken everyone else. Thus, she's sent to patrol the one area that no one else wants to patrol, because she can get in and out of there fairly quickly without skimping on thoroughness.

The 1st Avenger Hall. Now, Chaldea's Avenger Hall is overseen by one Edmond Dantes, and located in the southwestern sector of the base next to the Assassin Hall. Apparently, when Demon King Nobunaga arrived, they figured that her presence was good enough to deter any Avengers getting into wild arguments with any nearby Servants, and thus moved them to a more accessible position.

To Medusa's chagrin, however, they didn't get rid of the first one they built in the northwest, so that the Avenger Hall would be as far away as possible from the Ruler Hall in the southeastern corner. Why is it a problem that they've left it this way? It might be seen as a waste of space, but you can at least use it for storage, and if a new class becomes available, they can always move into the empty spot, right?

Wrong. It was initially used for storage of things like Holy Grails and Saint Quartz. Initially. Now, however, it has two occupants, who confine themselves to the largest room in the back of the Hall when evening falls. According to her Rider self (who is typically the one patrolling this area), it's been daily for months now, and they never leave before the sun has risen.

Medusa hopes she won't have to hear them going at it as she steps into the hall. She hopes she won't have to hear anything uncouth or untoward, because Athena will throw a fit inside her and then she'll have to deal with-

"OH, FUCK, YES!~"

The deep, bassy, womanly moan echoes through the hall without any delay, as if it was timed perfectly for when Medusa entered. The Saber leaps back in shock, reflexively going for Chrysaor at her hip.

"What in the name of- What was that?!"

And why does her Spirit Origin resonate with it so much?

As she steps closer, slowly wrapping her hand around her blade's golden hilt, the noises pick back up again.

Another voice, even deeper and grittier, punctuating the constant sound of flesh-on-flesh that rings in Medusa's powerful ears as she draws closer to the source: A room at the back of the hall, door dimly illuminated like the rest of them, yet also bleeding sound and noise.

Medusa squirms. Something inside her really likes that voice.

"NGGH....Of course!~ The greatest joy in my life, besides dreaming of this world's end, is watching you writhe in agony in an attempt to constrain your-Anh!~"

SMACK! The sound of a large, meaty hand against a fat, wobbling ass. Medusa instinctively knows it to be such.

"Gh...Fuck, you're tight today! Your dreams of this planet aflame, just rubble beneath you...all that means nothing compared to your lardy greed and endless lust, doesn't it?!"

The voice, swaddled by lard and heft, is all-too-familiar to Medusa, and with the damning of the Olympians, a daunting horror starts forming in her gut as realization creeps up on her in unison with the growing lust heating up her core.

Artoria finished buttoning up the black collar, stepping back to look at her handiwork. She’d been right - Mordred fitted her old suit practically perfectly. It suited him, too, the crimson working well with his blonde hair, the same as hers. A purple rose stood out, pinned to his chest, all over a black shirt.

Artoria smiled. “You look stunning.” Mordred turned a lighter shade of his blazer, and Artoria laughed. “I’m not surprised, after all. I had good tastes.”

“Had, huh?” Mordred smirked.

“Oh, haha. Don't go using my words against me now.” She flicked his forehead, smiling. “Good thing it fits you too.” No surprises there. Mordred had inherited Artoria’s small stature, after all.

“Now then, when do you need to-” A ring ran through the house, cutting Artoria off. “Ah, that'd be them.”

Iris called from downstairs. “I’ll get it! Illya, go grab the camera.” Artoria snickered at the last bit whilst Mordred went bright red, realising what was to come.

“Well, come on. Don't wanna keep them waiting, do we?” Mordred nodded nervously, and father and son made their way out of the room, making their way to the top of the stairs. They could hear Irisviel speaking, and alongside her…

Jeanne.

Mordred could’ve died peacefully there and then with that view, seeing her dressed in a long, sleek and sparkling black dress, and a matching bow tied into her braid ponytail. A single light bluer flower sat in her hair, standing out against its straw background and her matching blue eyes. Mordred gulped, gripping his blazer. When Jeanne noticed him, a small gasp escaped her, and she smiled.

“You look amazing,” she said, turning Mordred scarlet. “Y-you too.”

Irisviel squealed excitedly. “Oh, you two look amazing! Come on in, we need to get a picture!” Jeanne thanked her as she took her jacket, and stepped into the living room. Slowly, Mordred and his father made their way down, Artoria taking his arm to calm his nerves. It would take a few minutes to get the picture set up, as Irisviel fussed over them and their clothing whilst Illyasviel boredly watched, twiddling with her camera. Eventually, though, she was satisfied, and the picture was taken, the two arm in arm.

“Oh, look at that! Don’t you both look great!” She fawned over the photo as Artori just rolled his eyes, still with a smile. “You two gonna be okay getting back?”

“Yes, don’t worry, Mr Pendragon,” Jeanne said. “Caeneus is taking us back too.” As if on cue, a car horn went off outside. Artoria laughed.

“Somehow, that doesn’t soothe me. And seriously, just call me Artoria. We’ve known each other long enough now.” Jeanne nodded and collected her jacket, though not without a teary hug and goodbye from Irisviel. As they did, Artoria slung an arm over their son, giving him a grin. “Make sure to show them that Pendragon charm, okay?”

“Pendragon charm? Really?”

“Yes. I’ll have you know your uncle Arthur had 7 people ask him to prom, and Morgan had 5. It’s genetic.”

“And how many did you get?”

“You don’t need to know that.”

Another honk from outside signalled their driver was getting impatient. Mordred rolled his eyes. “I think we’re wanted.”

“That you are.” Artoria gave him a final hug, looking at him with a soft look Mordred rarely saw from his father.  “Remember, don’t do anything I wouldn’t do. Uncle Ari and Ami will be chaperoning if you need anything. Don’t trust-”

“People giving away free booze, I know.” Mordred chuckled. Artoria finally let him go.

“And have fun, okay?” His voice was noticeably shaky, though Mordred didn’t say anything. Only pulling her into a final, tight hug. “I will. Don’t worry.”

The pair made their way to the door, waving off to the proud Pendragons who saw them out. Almost immediately, the honks of the car horn as Caeneus glared at them.

“Come on, you love birds! The night isn’t gonna last forever-” he was cut off by a slap to the back of the head by Barghest, who gave him an angry look. “Hey! What the fuck was that for?”

“Leave them be! And what’s wrong with being a lovebird? Are you planning on dropping me the moment we get there?”

Mordred and Jeanne chuckled as they listened to Caeneus desperately try to dig himself out of his grave, not realising he was being teased. They gave a final farewell to the congregation at the door, Arty barely holding back tears as Irisviel didn’t even try. They opened the back door and slid in, Mordred fist-bumping Cu Culain, who sat on the left. As they fastened in, Caeneus turned back, apparently having managed to get himself out of his little ‘situation’. “Shirou not coming?”

“Nah, he’s already there.” Mordred finished fastening his seatbelt as the rev of a motorbike sounded next to the car. AJ leaned into the car window, sat on the motorbike with Gudako behind her. “I’m not being funny, but we need to get this show rolling if we wanna do anything at the prom.”

“Yeah, yeah, I know. You all good back there?” Caeneus was met by a resounding collection of yeses, and so turned back. “Good.”

The two vehicles drove off, winding down the many roads as they went. As Irisviel and Artoria watched them go, a single tear rolled down Artoria’s face. Irisviel chuckled and nudged her, only making him roll their eyes. “Oh, shut up.” All the same, she giggled, pulling her own love into a tight hug as the night grew darker. Stars twinkling in the sky, eternally watching humanity grow closer.

A façade of welcome, knowing full-well what was to come when twilight arrived. Judged by the arrangement outside the building, this must have been the first day, when Emiya headed the armada curry concoctions and all appeared perfectly well. Sigurd and Brynhildr hanging off one another, the Prince of Lanling attempting to aid Yu Mei-Ren in processing the absence of her beloved Xiang Yu and Tomoe engaging in her passion for VR gaming. But in attendance was one whom Chaldea shouldn’t have encountered yet — a Fae Knight of the Britain waiting for them on the other side of this idyllic setting.

"I see now. The Stars must have brought you here for some reason. But we should think of a cover story. There are many Servants on this mountain, but if they hear your True Name, they might jump to conclusions and mistake you for the cause of this Singularity. Are you alright with sticking to Gawain while we think of something? We could always claim you’re from Arthur’s Round Table — he isn’t around to dispute it”.

It was inevitable really that the sight of a Servant unfamiliar would draw attention, and Illya had been the one to stray from the alternative of her brother’s side, leaving Ruby close by so that the Mystic Code couldn’t interfere with crass commentary.

“Mashu, who’s that? Oh, Da Vinci said that other Servants had been sent ahead of us, so you must be one of them, right? I haven’t seen you in Chaldea before — I’d remember such a pretty and muscular lady”. And if somehow she did, Ruby would be sure to change that.

Piper just returned to Spirale once again after very long stay at the void. She couldn't remember if it was actually just an empty spot or it just her but either way, she'll forget that it happened.

Of course, Piper still remembers what does 'servants' mean, all thanks to Lily from that interview she had long ago.

"Whoa, and i thought Super Mutants be taller and you're close to be taller than them. Not as tall as a Behemoth, though." A Behemoth is somewhat related to her world.

Good thing Siegfried didn't join in on the Water Monster Crisis; not sure how the man would take to the threat of drowning. But at least Vegas confirms he'd be fine on an island, so long as he doesn't experience a hurricane.

I would, however, be curious about how he'd react to Lambda's latest performance there - he was mesmerized by her dance back in Vegas before she began her illegal activities.

Maybe I should save up QP for her next performance if nothing shady happens again, given how many tickets would be required.

Most likely he wouldn't take it well (what with the bunyips, kelpies, rasulkis, and eventually Dagon), but yeah he would be okay long enough to probably last the event (thank goodness that none of the water monsters that show up could create a hurricane).

In all honesty, he would be pretty damn impressed by what a fellow dragon-trait Servant did (and who can blame him, what she does really is that impressive, especially after getting some major power-ups from the Cons).
