Since there has been no news about season 9 dvd/blu-ray release, should I expect not completing my collection? I’ve seen no release date or updates about dvd/blu-ray release and I am getting kind of worried we might not get them at all. Do you have any info on that? Since the season 10 poster is so cool I would love to see it as a dvd cover but because even season 9 isn’t out, I’m not so sure 😅

Hi anon! Sadly, there has been no new at all about an official Seasion 9 dvd/blu-ray release in the U.S. and if we haven't heard by now -- a good six months after it's usually released (or at least announced) -- I doubt we're getting one.

Some people have pointed me to a couple of Australian sites that appear to be selling some version of a S9 DVD for that region, and a couple of third-party sellers through Walmart and Ebay who claim to have DVD's, but none of those look official to me and I wouldn't trust them. There's usually no mystery about an official release - when it's released, it's released and there's a press announcement and a date and official pre-sales through big retailers like Amazon. They want to actually sell product if they print a blu-ray/dvd so there's no reason to bury it.

I think it's probably yet another sign of cost-cutting which is really unfortunate. I would love to have a full ten-season set in the end. And the "extras" such as the gag reel are always appreciated.

@friendshiptothemax if you have any insight on whether there will ever be a S9 DVD/blu-ray, we'd love to know.

i mean what. legally watching. legally playing them in my legal dvd drive. you will not see the efforts of this endeavor online in any way shape or form and definitely not find the bonus features uploaded to my internet archive at any point.

I keep seeing this photo with Jensen in a men’s undershirt, sipping a smoothie, holding onto a King Charles spaniel and wearing sunglasses and insanely short Jorts. It’s like straight outta Fire Island so I’m assuming it was a joke thing (especially the jorts) but I can’t find the video to see what it was.

There’s another gif where he’s prancing and spraying a hose up in the air, different shirt, but the Jorts are there and I just really need context because summer of 2006 me at Pride feels attacked (in a good way)
