Rick is SO stubborn. For a while, he was in "fuck shit up just to keep his family down" mode. Now, he's down to "do shady things but don't tell Morty because he'll endanger himself." He needs to reach the final step, which is, you know...don't put himself and Morty in that position to begin with. I guess he's forgotten how to live without a threat always hanging over his head.

But episode 4 is not about Buck wanting Tommy's attention. The gym scene?.. The basketball scene? Even the direction of every scene in this episode - camera's on Buck and Eddie, Eddie, Eddie, Eddie.

So now that Eddie has another buddy, it's suddenly a problem.
