Wishing everyone a happy Chinese language day, in which Chinese, one of the 6 official languages of the world, is promoted and celebrated!! This day also celebrates Cangjie, who invented the Chinese characters about 5000 years ago!

I have a lot of feelings about this.

I don't talk about this a lot but S.H.E and Tank were both artists who were very important to me as a teenager. S.H.E was a girl group and Ella was my favourite member because she served the 'tomboy' role and I very much was a tomboy at the time. Since then the three members have gone off to have solo careers. Tank was a songwriter but he also released music. He released three banger albums and then fell off the face of the earth.

In the first video Tank reveals that he was gone for a decade because of health issues. Even during the show he said that he was feeling a bit unwell and Ella was trying to tend to him. I hope he's taking it easy.

We know Tank had a close working relationship with S.H.E, as he was a prolific songwriter and sang together with Selina often. But here Ella explains that their relationship was more like 師姐弟 and we see it here. She's trying to give him confidence, because he's clearly not used to being in front of the camera like she is.

It looks like this is a music centric show, there are a lot of other artists here, like MC Jin, Meng Jia, G.E.M., etc. :3

It looks like Tank is also doing a bit of a rebrand. I checked his old albums and his name was indeed 呂建中 then but his new albums have his name as 呂建忠. So I guess he'll be 呂建忠 moving forward.

It's cute that he gifted Ella the Hana Kimi OST. You guys need to know this album went platinum in my bedroom as a teenager haha. This album was soooo important to me. And I LOVE that they performed 專屬天使...still one of my favourite songs ever.

Argh I'm just so glad that Tank is like...okay. I had heard rumours about him being gone but nothing was ever really confirmed. But to hear that he's releasing music again...like even if it turns out to not be my thing, I'm still happy 🥹 that he's okay.
