requiem for the monochrome is one of my straight forward playlists: it’s literally just lavendula’s book (or the one after paramour) and that’s the full title! usually when i’m talking about it i shorten it to just say monochrome lol.

this playlist is SOOOOO sparse it literally only has right where you want me by jesse mccartney on it bc of a specific set of scenes i am thinking about relating to erecia and lavendula falling in love 💀💀

🌸 Being offered a free trip anywhere they want to go, where would they go?

lavendula would be torn-on the one hand to want to take somewhere for the kids; like maybe the rumors of a theme park in ducat, or a nice beach trip because the kids have never seen the water. but selfishly she would want to go somewhere secluded, like a cabin or the mountains so she could have uninterrupted art time. she misses being able to draw with reckless abandon, a joy that was taken from her when she was young and first started attending debut balls. so she'd like to have some of that time back to herself--a place with great scenery and time without kids.

Am I crazy for liking this? I don't know how the rest of the episode looks, but this wonky animation is charming in a 60's anime kind of way with how it looks like they're sliding across the ground. Now I'm not saying that was intentional, but it's rare to find anime these days that remind me of older animation styles in anime so I can't hate it from this alone.
