Walking into your shared room with Haneul and Siyoon, you take in the whole experience. The room was minimal, with large windows bringing in the natural light. There were three beds evenly spaced out with a small walk-in closet toward the left. 

“Ok! So who wants which bed?” Haneul asks. 

You shrug your shoulders. “Doesn’t matter to me; I just can’t wait to sleep.” 

“Oh my gosh, same,” Siyoon exclaims. 

“Rock, paper, scissors?” 

“Let’s go!”

After unpacking your clothes and makeup into the closet, the three of you guys sit on the ground in order to get to know one another.

“Let’s start with the basics,” Siyoon suggested. “Things like birthdays, or like favourite artists.” 

As you nod along, Siyoon speaks, “I’ll go first! My birthday is February 16th, and I really like IU and Lisa from Blackpink.” 

Haneul goes next. “I was born on May 25, and I’m a very big fan of Olivia Rodrigo.” 

Being the last one, you think about who your favourite artists are. “My birthday is ___, and I really enjoy SEVENTEEN, and my mom listened to a lot of 70’s/80’s music when I was growing up, so I really admire ABBA and Queen. 

Just as the conversations get more comfortable with jokes being made, a bell can be heard coming from the living room. 

The three of you all lock eyes. “Guess we have to go outside,” you state. 

Going out of the room, you see the three guys coming out of their room at the same time. Heading towards the living room, you can see what looks like a letter on the coffee table. 

With the six of you guys sitting on the sofas, Youngjae reaches out for the letter and reads it aloud. 

“Welcome to the first official mission of We Became Roommates! Every new home needs to hold a housewarming party, and a housewarming party is not the same with some food. This week’s mission is to come together as a group and make a homemade meal. You guys will be separating into two groups of three by picking sticks that have a colour and heading to the grocery store to get ingredients. The red team will be in charge of the main course, and the blue team will be in charge of the desserts. Happy cooking, and welcome to the new home!” 

You nervously make eye contact with Youngjae, knowing that cooking is not yours or his forte. Baking and cooking are definitely two different things in your head.

Picking out your sticks, you end up in the main course meal team, with Ni-ki and Jongseob. 

“Soo,” you start, “does anyone know how to cook?” 

Crickets. 

“Ok, let’s just try not to burn the house down,” you murmur.

Himari's siren voice enchants chapter one of the Gayo Daejejeon

After the release of 'Insomniac' in which the young woman proved to have an incredible grasp on different rapping styles, Himari reminded everyone that numerous seniors in the industry have described her as an angel voiced vocalist for a reason through a special stage at the MBC Gayo Daejejeon. The audience found themselves completely enthralled when she flowed through the track 'Spell', originally sung by SEVENTEEN's performance unit, with such elegance that one could believe it had been produced for her.

While many know the maknae under the image of 'stage demon' alongside several other band members due to the dark image habitually presented through their performances, this broadcast brought the nickname of 'white swan' back to netizens' attention as even non-fans reported feeling pulled in by her light. Flirtatious expressions were ever so present on her facial features so widely described as 'doll-like' while her usually sharp body moved like water to the modified choreography, which was in part created by ATEEZ's multi talented main dancer, Yunho.

Idols were not immune to this charm either as many were caught on camera being flustered by her stage, some of them being; Kiss of Life who were covering their mouths in awe, Hyunjin who could be seen turning to his members shock, and of course ZB1's Ricky fawning over his bias. There was one specific man's reaction that netizens were looking forward to and it was surprisingly not her boyfriend, Mingi (though he was visibly hypnotized), but rather the vocalist's mentor, Taemin, who did not disappoint by bringing his own hand made sparkling cardboard cutout of his protégée's name - holding it high for everyone to see.

"You're embarrassing me!" Himari had jokingly signed when catching sight of it after pre-recording concluded. "I'm feeling stage fright suddenly, haha"

The original performers showed endless praising words towards this cover when it was brought to their attention - the unit leader even expressing his desire to one day collaborate with the young woman, though it is also in part due to their shared obsession with tigers. Atiny have expressed that while the group concept is embodied by every single member, it was rather refreshing for them to see much lighter colors and less powerful dance moves that focused on complimenting her incredible bodily control. Certain netizens even took jabs at Hybe Corporation by stating that had they not, allegedly, stolen these tracks from the maknae's studio, perhaps the fanbase would have been able to see something similar to this stage for her next solo comeback - which despite not having been confirmed yet is highly anticipated.
