Happy Birthday Scottish actor Richard Madden born June 18th 1986 in Elderslie.

Last year Richard starred in the Amazon Prime series Citadel, I've watcheit and was not really impressed with it,I think he does pull of the American accent well, but I noticed there have been people saying he doesnt, Madden revealed he spoke in the accent for two years straight to prepare for the series. The show has been earmarked for a second series. Richard is set to appear in the feature film Killer Heat next, it is in post production.

  Jhené Aiko Efuru Chilombo (born March 16, 1988), known as Jhené Aiko or Jhené, is an American singer and songwriter. She embarked on her music career contributing vocals and appearing in several music videos for R&B group B2K. At the time, she was known as B2K member Lil' Fizz's "cousin", though she is not actually related to him. It was used as a marketing tool, suggested by Sony and Epic Records, to promote Aiko through B2K and attract an audience. In 2003, Aiko was set to release her debut album, My Name Is Jhené, through her labels Sony, The Ultimate Group and Epic, however the album was never released, with Aiko asking to be released from the label in order to continue her education.

  Aiko grew up in Ladera Heights, California. She was homeschooled. She took vocal lessons in Culver City, California but discontinued when she unexpectedly got pregnant. Aiko is the daughter of Christina Yamamoto and Dr. Karamo Chilombo (born Gregory Wycliff Barnes), a pediatrician. Her parents later divorced. Her sister is R&B singer Mila J. 

Aiko was baptized when she was 16 at the evangelical Pentecostal Foursquare Church. She dated American R&B singer O'Ryan from 2005 to 2008. At the age of 20, Aiko gave birth to her daughter Namiko Love, with O'Ryan on November 19, 2008. Before losing her brother Miyagi to cancer on July 19, 2012, Aiko recorded "For My Brother" on her laptop, which was initially intended only for her brother's ears. He died soon after hearing the record.

On August 27, 2013, Aiko was involved in a car accident in Los Angeles along with her daughter Namiko, older sister Miyoko, and her daughter's father O'Ryan. Aiko suffered a broken wrist, chipped tooth and had stitches in her chin. Her daughter was unharmed in the accident. 

In September 2014, Aiko revealed she was in a relationship with New York City-based record producer Oladipo "Dot da Genius" Omishore, who produced the songs "Limbo Limbo Limbo" and "Wading", from her debut album Souled Out. On March 16, 2016, the couple revealed they were married. On August 9, 2016, Aiko filed for divorce citing irreconcilable differences. After reportedly being in a relationship with fellow musician, Big Sean, there's no proof that they were separated beforehand. 

Aiko was named PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity of 2016, and posed naked in their anti-fur "Drop the Fur" ad campaign.

Happy Hippie Foundation

The Happy Hippie Foundation is a non-profit organization that was founded by Miley to provide vulnerable youth in the LGBTQ community with support, education and employment opportunities. The foundation also reaches out to youths in foster care, living with HIV/AIDS and those living in high-conflict zones.

Miley opened the segment saying ‘No Jimmy, it’s a fur and I’m vegan’, and goes on to sing about how she can buy her ‘own damn stuff’ and that she didn’t need to be given keys to a brand new car as she’d already bought herself a ‘baller’ set of wheels. Anushka Sharma crowned by PETA as the “Person of the year”

Don’t you think the end of 2017 completely Anuska’s Time?  First, she crawls all over the internet because of her wedding and now for the news of her being crowned as the “PETA person of the year". Anushka Sharma is constantly creating a stir on the internet this December, Isn't it? Some days ago she was taking the internet by storm with the news of her secret Tuscany wedding. The beauty has taken this honor for her wide-reaching kindness towards animals, from defending for horses that are forced to pull carriages in Mumbai to help in protecting dogs from fireworks.

The Associate Director of PETA (People for the Ethical treatment of animals) Sachin Bangera, said, "Anushka Sharma is a proud animal rights proponent whose initiatives and kindness know no bounds. PETA is encouraging people to follow her lead by eating healthy plant-based meals, being kind towards community animals by taking a stand when they're suffering, and by looking for new innovative ideas to help animals."

Anushka was also named  PETA's Sexiest Vegetarian Celebrity in 2015. Her recent efforts to protect community animals include launching her barbarism-free NUSH clothing line, visiting an animal shack and promoting its work on her social media, launching an awareness campaign called PAWsitive to prevent the suffering fireworks cause to animals, and using Twitter to stand up cruel carriage rides in Mumbai - where often-lame horses are forced to haul passengers in all weather extremes without adequate rest, food, or water. Happy Birthday Scottish actor Richard Madden born June 18th 1986 in Elderslie, reputed birth place of Sir William Wallace.

Richard was raised by his mother, Pat, a classroom assistant and his father, Richard, who worked for the fire service. He also has two sisters, Cara and Lauren.

His parents were “hippies”, he says, and their house was pretty open, with friends always piling in for big vegetarian meals. Madden spent a lot of time outside, in the woods behind their house. He has several injuries: he shows me where he shot his dad’s old air pistol and blew off part of his finger, then managed to wreck the same finger when he nailed a wooden plank to his skateboard, then crashed it, so apart from the Hippie parents it was much like most of our own days as bairns.

Despite growing up wanting to be an actor, Richard was very shy during his childhood. To overcome this, at age 11, he joined Paisley Arts Centre’s youth theatre program. In 1999 he was given the lead role as Sebastian Simpkins in BBC1’s children’s TV comedy series Barmy Aunt Boomerang, that’s him aged 12 in the first pic with co-star Toyah Wilcox.. By 2000, he’d made his feature film debut in the Iain Banks adaptation, Complicity.

After high school he was accepted to the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama in Glasgow, Scotland and in 2007, he graduated.

Less than two years later, Richard had a recurring role as Dean McKenzie on the 2009 BBC series Hope Springs. Soon after, he landed the role of Ripley in the 2010 movie Chatroom, a film about a group of teenagers who encourage each other’s bad behaviours after meeting online. In the same year, Richard played punk band Theatre of Hate singer Kirk Brandon in Worried About the Boy, a TV film about the life of British singer-songwriter Boy George.

In 2011 Richard landed his breakthrough role as Robb Stark in the HBO fantasy-drama series Game of Thrones. Also in 2011, he played gay paramedic Ashley Greenwick on the short-lived British comedy-drama Sirens. During hiatus from filming Game of Thrones in 2013, Richard was cast to star as Prince Charming in the 2015 Disney film Cinderella.

Richard won his first Screen Actors Guild award in 2014 for the Discovery Channel mini-series, Klondike. He played Bill Haskell, one of two adventurers who travel to Yukon, Canada during the Klondike Gold Rush in the 1890s. He further enhanced his reputation as a good actor when he appeared in the BBC drama Bodyguard in 2018, the following year he played Lieutenant Joseph Blake in the film 2017 and was Elton John’s manager/lover in the biop of the star Rocketman.

In January 2019 Madden won  a prestigious Golden Globe for his role as war veteran David Budd in the BBC show Bodyguard. He also appeared in the 2019 war movie 1917.

We last saw Richard in the movie,  Eternals, which was okay, but nothing great, he is one of several actors being touted as the next James Bond, at the moment his new project,  Citadel is in post production, it’s a Science fiction set to feature on Amazon, no date has been set as yet. 

In July 2019, Madden received an honorary doctorate from his alma mater, the Royal Conservatoire of Scotland. When asked about his personal life during a New York Times interview following speculation about his relationships and sexuality, Madden stated: "I just keep my personal life personal."

Madden was recently named one of 'Scotland’s Sexiest Men'  following a new study that identifies the most attractive features for men, he has competition though,  also in the running are Bathgate’s David Tennant  and Glasgow’s James McAvoy, no sign of me on the list though........
