Okay let's backtrack: I recently started watching Tokyo Revengers (I know I'm late to the party) and I immediately took a liking to Draken. I realized it was because he was the "tall best friend with a heart of gold" type of character which made me think of Makoto from Free!... but I literally thought "he's got a much deeper voice than Makoto tho, not at all like him lol"

A few episodes later I decided to look up his VA because I liked his voice

“Hello gentlemen!” Taiju bellowed from the door opening with his characteristic teeth bearing grin as Shinichiro and Wakasa walked up to the venue, quickly disposing of their cigarette buds and grinning back. 

They were pulled into a bone crushing embrace. “Good to see you, Taiju,” Shinichiro coughed as he slapped him on his broad shoulder. 

“There’s no bracing against that,” Waka laughed as he pushed his hair out of his face. Even though he still owned a gym, some guys were just so ridiculously strong. 

“So this is all yours, huh?” Shinichiro asked as he looked at the elegant, exquisite looking restaurant and event location that was decorated from the floors to the ceilings in themes befitting the four seasons. 

Taiju grinned. “So they say,” he joked. “We seated you guys in the VIP area, grab yourselves a drink and enjoy the show!” He added quickly as he pointed at the signage in the direction of the VIP lounge before turning to greet the next visitors. 

So they stepped inside, eager to get into the warm indoors and they couldn’t help but gawk at the luxurious interior. “Holy shit,” Waka whispered under his breath. Everything looked expensive. From the floor tiles to the wall designs and the big panels and doors of glass. “Look at all this… We’re doing something wrong, man,” he chuckled.
