And my other! Some headcanons for how Akira and Ryuji (separately ofc) would spend their first Christmas with their s/o? Bonus points if it's also actually her FIRST Christmas, as maybe her family doesn't care for holidays, or celebrates something else, and she's always wished to celebrate Christmas at least once. typically he’d spend it with his mom, where she’d sit and laugh at dumb movies on the tv.

with his home situation, and just- everything money was tight, so he really had the deep rooted values of christmas

so he was really glad to be able to share it with his s/o

but what devastated him was what you said in reply.

“Hey babe! We wanted to have a Christmas party at LeBlanc! You in?”

“Oh, sure! That’d be nice, seeing I don’t celebrate.”

“WHAT?”

now of course, this instance is if your family just- didn’t

(BUT if you didn’t celebrate christmas, and rather another tradition, ryuji would be 10000000% supportive after some explaining)

after his outburst, he’s with ann and akira and he’s rambling on and on

“Can you believe it dude?! They’ve never celebrated Christmas before!”

“A lot of people don’t celebrate, Ryuji.”

“I know that, Ann!... Well- kinda. It doesn’t matter! What matters is that MY s/o hasn’t celebrated.”

“Well then we’ll help you make it extra special for them.”

“Sweet! You’re the coolest best friend a guy could ask for, Akira!”

it came time for gifts, and of course ryuji flung up to hand you yours and vice versa.

yours came in two pieces

one was a set of new sneakers ryuji had been scouting out, but when he last checked they were out of stock.

the second, a small box with photos and keepsakes.

he couldn’t miss how they were all related to your relationship

so christmas for him was very quiet as well

though when he came to japan, that changed very quickly

so once he heard about your similar situation, he was surprised

though he paid no mind, and didn’t judge either

before asking you to have a christmas party with everyone else he totally makes sure it’s not because you celebrate something else

if that were the case, TOTALLY supports you and even participates in whatever you’d like to do per your celebration

if it were the case you just never did, he totally takes you out on experiences that amazed him

and by the end of these, you’re in leblanc in a booth drinking coffee

you’d have a party with the phantom thieves, but later when the night settled in he takes you to sit at the tables of LeBlanc.

and in your hands is a neatly wrapped gift.
