Hello! I was hoping to ask a request of the Ren/Akira, Ryuji, Yusuke, and Akechi (if possible) reacting to the reader pushing them out of the way to take a blow that would knocked them out. (Like how in-game, party members can take a fatal blow for Joker)

Akechi

He resigned himself to getting hit often by the shadows. He tries to draw as much aggression as possible. Mostly because he has a lot of pent-up aggression and hitting things and being hit helps him (even if he gets more pissed).

So he's prepared and ready to be hit by this shadow's attack. His health is low, but he knows Joker has some healing abilities and items. Akechi isn't prepared to see you jump in front of him and take the hit.

His jaw clenches and he feels more anger than he has in a long while. But that anger is directed to the shadow that left you worse than he currently is. Oh, he'll give you an earful afterward. But right now, that shadow is going to be obliterated.

Joker

Joker does his best to not let himself get harmed enough that one of his friends jumps in front to take the blow for him. It's happened quite a bit and he's glad that he keeps a persona that can revive.

That said, watching you suddenly be the one to jump in and take the hit for him makes him freeze for a moment. He's glad you aren't knocked out from the hit, but he was afraid for a moment.

When the battle ends, he's flicking your forehead. He'll scold you later when you're in private, but for now, he'll keep his calm as a leader and make sure you get healing and have someone else take your place in the battle for a little while.

Ryuji

He doesn't try to be reckless in battle, but he isn't the most observant. When he gets pushed, he expects that a shadow is attacking him and is ready to swing his bat. But then he watches as you get hit by a shadow that was aiming for him.

Ryuji is mad. Not Akechi levels of mad, but he's mad. He knows that he should try to keep his cool, but you took an attack for him while he was screwing around while his health was low.

Ryuji does his best to keep enemies off of you while you get healed. Ryuji will be annoyed when you're healed just because of what you did. He's strong, he can handle being knocked out for a little while. Just don't worry him like that again, got it?

Yusuke

Yusuke knows his health is running low, but he also knows that he's pretty quick and agile. As tired as he's getting, as long as he can dodge the next attacks until he's healed then he'll be fine. Except he can't dodge fast enough.

And then you take the hit for him. Yusuke's eyes widen as he watches you being attacked. It's something that happens quite a bit when you all go into mementos and palaces to fight, he's watched you get harmed more than he cares for. But now you're being hurt on his behalf.

He's using what stamina he has to freeze the enemies with his ice attacks and buy more time for healing to happen for you and him. After the battle, Yusuke thanks you and then begins to scold you for what you did. You owe him new paints.

The both of you were hanging out at Leblanc. Well, more like you. He was busy washing the dishes while watching over the store. Although, at the moment it was empty, save for the two of you.

When he heard your request, he smiles. He proceeds to dry his hands, and go to your side of the counter.

"Where, treasure?"

You thought of it for a moment, and pointed at your lips, "Here?"

He smiles even wider this time. He closes his eyes and gave you a quick peck. Before he could pull away, you wrap your arms around his neck in an attempt to ask for more, but the sound of the door opening made you retrieve your hands. He cleared his throat, "Welcome!"

He looks at you apologetically and mouths, "Later."

Ryuji

"I want a kiss."

The sound of the various videogame sound effects, children cheering and laughing, and the grunts of your boyfriend on this certain fighting game he has been playing for almost thirty minutes fills your senses. You love watching him play, but man do you also want some affection.

"Wait a minute babe."

You pout, though he cannot see it. The match ended after almost a minute though, and then he quickly turned to you.

"What did'cha want, babe?"

"Kiss please."

"Oh!" And for a second he felt sheepish, but seeing that you were in a slightly secluded part of the arcade, he decided to be a little more bold. He gave you a quick kiss on your cheek, and pulled you closer to him to give another kiss on your forehead.

The both of you were at Inokashira Park, as Yusuke wanted to find inspiration for his next artwork. It was a nice slightly cloudy day, so it wasn't too hot out. Having an impromptu picnic with your boyfriend outside was definitely a good change of pace.

He has just started cleaning up his landscape sketches, but looked up upon hearing your request.

"Certainly, my darling."

He places his sketchpad beside him, and reached out to give you a quick kiss on your lips. He reached out for your hand and placed a kiss on your knuckles. You smiled at his actions, and then suddenly he stops for a brief second.

"Yusuke, are you o-"

The both of you were at his apartment. He was catching up with the Featherman episodes he missed because of work, and you were doing homework. Upon hearing your request, Goro smirked.

"Why?"

Your eyebrows furrowed, "What do you mean 'why'? What if I'm just craving attention from my boyfriend?"

"Hmm..." Goro put his hand under his chin, as if he is considering your very serious request.

You rolled your eyes at his antics. You scooted over to his side until there was no more space between the two of you, "Kiss please!"

He complied and gave you a quick kiss on your nose. You smiled and was about to back away when he held on to your arm.

WHEN RYUJI FIGURES OUT HE LIKES YOU, he panics a little bit; he’s never liked a boy before! He isn’t quite sure how to compliment you: is it the same as it is with girls? Would it be weird to call you “hot”? If you’re out, then Ryuji has a much easier time figuring his feelings out, especially since he can ask you for advice! Hi newbie Anon, thanks for dropping by and participating in the event! I haven't written for Ryuji before and this was a fun little piece to write. Hope you enjoy.

Domestic Bliss

There was only one thing you wanted to do on such a rainy, miserable day such as this. And that was to become a couch potato in your favourite bean bag whilst you played video games with your boyfriend. You and Ryuji must have been at it for at least an hour now, swapping between characters in a fighting game and duking it out in head to head combat. So far, you were both evenly matched and neither of you was keeping track of the score anymore. As you were scrolling through the selection screen of characters, Ryuji decided to speak up, tapping your thigh with his foot to gain your attention.

“Hey, how about next round we make a bet?” Ryuji offered. 

He immediately piqued your interest as your curious eyes flickered in his direction, head cocked to the side. 

“Yeah, what do you wanna bet?” you replied. 

A smile stretched his lips as he leaned closer to you, almost falling directly into your lap as his shoulder bumped into yours. You could hear the rain pelting against the windows as the wind howled, but the noise was barely audible over the sound of your pulse pounding in your ears at Ryuji’s close proximity. 

“How about if I win, you give me a kiss.”

You looked thoughtful for a moment as you pondered. You purse your lips together as you rolled the idea around your head. You hummed softly as you started to nod, a playful smile tilting your lips as you responded. 

“Okay. But if I win, then you have to give me a kiss.”

A warm chuckle breezed past Ryuji’s lips as his eyes lit up like a Christmas tree.

“Deal!”

He eagerly fell back into position on the bean bag and started scrolling through the list of characters, immediately picking his favourite as you got ready for a match. You took a bit longer to decide, eyes scanning the TV screen as the light it reflected danced over your screen. 

“Come on” Ryuji goaded. “We don’t got all day. What, scared you’ll lose?”

You playful rolled your eyes as a grunt rumbled in the back of your throat. “Yeah right. I am so winning this bet.”

You picked your character and the match immediately began. The room was filled with the sounds of your characters throwing punches and violent button mashing as you both tried to gain the upper hand. You threw a punch. Ryuji threw a kick. You used a special beam attack. Ryuji grappled you and threw you to the ground. Slowly but surely your health bars started to whittle down and neither of you could help it as you started to shout and exclaim with boisterous laughter. 

“I’m winning!” Ryuji exclaimed with a gentle tease. 

“The match ain’t over yet!”

You leaned forward in your bean bag, the beans stuffed into the bag crunching under your movements as you sat on the edge. Your tongue poked between the seam of your lips, completely focused as your fingers moved faster than your head could keep up. You moved on pure instinct and you knew you could just edge out a victory by the skin of your teeth. You screamed in triumph when the victory banner appeared on your side of the screen, throwing your arms up as you almost, accidentally, threw the controller to the other side of the room in excitement. 

“Aww damn!” Ryuji sighed with defeat. 

His body sank further into his bean bag, sagging as he dropped his controller in his lap. You giggled as you happily crawled your way over to Ryuji, gently nudging his knee as you draped yourself over his legs. 

“I win” you chimed. “Now where’s my kiss?~”

Ryuji smiled as he leaned forward, trying to contain the shiver of excitement that raced along the curve of his spine. You leaned up as Ryuji planted a soft but firm kiss on your lips, the contact brief before you broke apart and savoured the taste of him lingering on the shape of your mouth. Ryuji’s cheeks were warm as he sat back and he awkwardly cleared his throat, hands fumbling as he reached for his controller once more. 

“One more round?” he asked in a hopeful voice.

You hummed as you nodded your head eagerly. “Of course. I don’t plan to lose though~”

“I’ll make you eat those words” Ryuji promised. “Then, I’ll get that kiss for sure!”

A soft snort blew past your lips as you readied yourself for another round. Not such a bad way to spend a rainy day, you mused to yourself.

His dancing is a bit clumsy, he's still shaking from the excitement of everything, but you can bet his arms hardly ever leave your waist

He is always so composed

Standing up straight with a loving gaze and an appreciative smile as he watches you

In this moment, it's YOU that is the finest piece of artwork in his eyes

Patiently waiting for when you make your way closer

Once you stand beside him, he whispers words that sound so much like the most beautiful poem you've ever heard

His kiss is more soft, and gentle, like a flower petal brushing against your lip

At the dancing section of the event his grip is loose yet secure, so that you may dance with passion and fluidity as he watches your majesty with wonder

Akechi

Akechi has been living a lie and acting for years now, so he knows how to keep his cool and play the role

That's not to say he's faking anything about his love for YOU, God's no, he loves you to bits

It's just he has an image he wants to keep up, so he stands with a quiet stare and elegant smile

Watching you walk up the aisle, most people wouldn't think anything amiss, but anyone with a trained eye could see how his fingers anxiously tugged at the bottom of his clothes

You arrive at his side and turn to what would seem to be your very own prince

Taking your hand into his, he kisses the back of it, looking you in your eyes with a knowing smirk which you can't help but return, he kisses with a certain amount of lingering firmness.

The dance was as one would expect, like a ballroom waltz right out of a fairytale, hands gripping at you possessively, but not too tight to cause discomfort.

Later, when in the comfort of your shared home, he was alone and could let the stray, happy tear slip, but only for a moment, not wanting to spare a generous amount of time dwelling on vulnerability... Maybe one day... Maybe even in front of you...

Jokes aside, he loves it. He finds it very sweet that you make him such amazing meals and often too. He's sure to savor it.

Might ask you to try more seafood dishes if you can,mostly because he keeps being pestered by his damn cat. He does make requests though from time to time, but only if you don't mind.

I can see him asking if you don't mind making a big meal as a phantom thief reward sometime. Only if you're okay with it, of course! But it'd be great to have an excuse to brag about your cooking to the others.

Ryuji

While he appreciates the cooking and baking, he unfortunately has to decline most things. It's not that he doesn't like the food you make (he would love to scarf it all down).

He is just trying to stay fit and stick with his diet so he can be as athletic as he can with a wounded knee. If you want to make high protein stuff for him then he'll gladly take it. Also ramen, he'd love to try any new ramen you attempt to cook for him.

Now, if he's had a successful Phantom Thief mansion then he'll happily take whatever you got. So long as it's not too sugary then he'll happily eat (might try to invite Joker over too).

Phantom Thieves who has a favorite gacha character (it's you)

Summary: What if you were a character in a gacha game that the Phantom Thieves are currently raving about? Note: Got this idea since I am getting back into gacha games after a month-long hiatus from them. I was like... what if its THEM spending their time on thinking about a fictional character... Also this includes Sumire!

Futaba has been hearing about the talks of a new gacha game, and realized it had a fun multiplayer aspect to it. The game didn't demand much time in their daily quests, and can be played casually. She sent an invite to the Phantom Thieves, since there's a reward if a friend starts playing the game.

Akiren

He decided to check out the game after a busy day. He did not feel like doing anything productive, and thus proceeded to click download. He went through the introduction and through the list of characters available in-game. He landed on your page, and found you really adorable and interesting.

It was currently your banner, so he decided to try his luck on pulling for you. Unfortunately, he is very unlucky but he proceeded to grind through the game's content to get you. He got you at hard pity, and proceeded to spoil you with the best gears he could get his hands on. He really likes the story and finds the other characters interesting. However, he is at full focus when you are on the screen and only uses you during combat.

If you have a favorite food/signature dish, he would most likely try to recreate it. Futaba and Mona (if its safe for them) are his taste testers. He also has a figurine of you placed on the shelf with the rest of the souvenirs he got from his friends.

Ryuji

Sadly, he also wanted to send out invites for pulls but was bested by Futaba. He actually heard of the game before, and he already had a favorite character: you. Before the game was released, he was closely following updates, teasers, and trailers. He probably found you very cool either because of your role in the story or your move set/skills.

If your character is not a healer/shielder, he will almost always play you with one of those. Makes sure you are well-protected, and if you are near fainting, he will exit the area right away. Also, his plans to acquire new characters revolves around you now. When a new character comes out, he will be thinking if said character could benefit you somehow.

Most definitely has posters of you in his bedroom, and a keychain of you in his phone. If ever there's a plushie/gachapon of you near the arcade he hangs out at, best believe he will be there!

Ann

A bit of a gamer herself, she was actually familiar with the game and only got around to downloading it when Futaba sent the invite. As she goes around and explore the world, she met your character. Either you remind her of one of the heroines she admired, or she finds your strength inspiring, (maybe even both!) you quickly became one of her favorites. She really loves your story and always pays attention when you are in the spotlight!

Ann's luck is... alright. She's not blessed like Yusuke, but not so unlucky like Akira. Even so, she managed to get you and your weapon pretty quickly! Since the game is not that challenging, no matter what your role is, she will bring you with her in the journey. Even if the team had no synergy whatsoever.

She likes thinking up of clothes/accessories inspired by you. She incorporates some of this in her daily life. Like maybe you have a unique headpiece, then maybe she will find an equivalent and start wearing it daily.

Yusuke

He got dragged into it, and decided to give it a chance. He greatly appreciates the game design, and environmental feel. As he meets all sorts of characters, he gets inspirations for each and every one. When he meets you, however, he admired your design for a moment before continuing. He really likes your overall aesthetic, and he can either relate to your experiences/or find you fascinating.

When he pulls for you, it was pure luck because he got both you and your weapon in one 10 pull. Futaba was jealous, Ryuji was stunned, Ann wished it was her, and Haru congratulated him. "This is not normal?" He asked, and it got mixed reactions from the crowd.

He rarely picks up the game, but when he does he always makes sure to set you as the character to greet him. He sometimes find inspiration/ideas after playing, and you have been the subject in a few art pieces of his. He realizes that whenever he is stuck in an impasse, sketching you or playing the game helps him get back on track. He also liked seeing fanart of you that were made by other fans.

Makoto

Also got dragged into it, and decided to check it out for Futaba. Might ask for help for the terminologies used in game, and the group chat gladly supplies information. She liked the storytelling of the game, and then she met your character. You quickly became a favorite because you were admirable.

In terms of merch collection, she goes for the ones that are useful like her Buchimaru-kun pencil case. If you have merch like a coffee mug or binder, she will go for that instead of a huge plushie or poster. She cherishes it just like she does with Buchimaru-kun.

Even if she does not drop the game because of her responsibilities, she still rarely plays it. Despite that, she might login if you have an event or role in the current story. Keyword is might.

Futaba

Truthfully, she only sent the invites out to get more of the currency used for pulling. While she already had you, she wanted to get more copies to make you stronger, or wanted to pull for a weapon that will greatly benefit you. Although, before that she made multiple accounts just so she can get you on the first ten pulls. It was quite an arduous progress.

She is very active in the fandom, and is probably a well-known figure within various social media. Most definitely runs an account dedicated to you, and also posts various headcanon/character interpretations of yours. She also gives the best advice on how to gear you up, and could be good with advising on how to build others when asked.

She has a lot of your merchandise, and is one the reasons she sometimes goes out. If you have a favorite food/signature dish, she might ask Sojiro or Joker to have it made for her. She also tends to talk about you a lot, either with Sumire or Joker. They start liking you through osmosis as well.

Haru

She was already playing the game when Futaba sent the invite. You were her favorite character because of your view on justice and/or you feel like someone she would get along with! She is cheering for you when you fight, her heart aches when you're sad, and she smiles when you triumph!

Safe to say that you are already maxed leveled, and fully built with the best gears. She also has quite the collection when it comes to your merchandise. She is a lurker in the fandom, she likes leaving likes or a few short comments on certain fan arts of you. Sometimes when she feels sad or feels like she needs that extra push, she will login the game quickly just to hear your encouragements.

Even when she's no longer as interested on the game as she was before, she still logins every once in a while just to see you. It was as if she was checking in on a friend; you hold a very special place in her heart.

Goro

Futaba accidentally sent him an invite, but he decided to check the contents anyways. He was mindlessly exploring the game's mechanics and storyline when you caught his eyes. Your character probably had a compelling philosophy, or your outfit/moves reminded him of Featherman.

He doesn't have time to grind through the content, so he probably spent money to obtain your character and all the gears you need. You are severely overpowered compared to his other characters. He does not have the time every day to login, but usually when he does it's mainly to listen to you. He really likes hearing your voice.

Outside of the game, he collects your merchandise diligently and displays them next to his Featherman figures. He also has some of your more 'discreet' merchandise on him at all times. He has a coffee mug with your symbol on it, and/or a keychain of an iconic part of your outfit connected to his phone.

Sumire

Futaba finally convinced her to play, so she decided to check it out! She heard a lot about your character through Futaba, so you were the one she was most interested in. When she finally sees you in-game, she was smiling. You became a favorite because of your kind nature, and/or your talents are similar to hers.

She plays the game casually, so when she finally got you, she does not bother getting the limited gears. She just enjoys exploring the world with you, and sometimes with Futaba and Joker.

It is unclear whether she continues playing the game, but she likes hearing updates about your character development, and your overall progression through the story from Futaba. She is cheering you on, from a far!

Well, that wasn’t expected.

Akechi was ready to be stuck and die in that palace. He was ready to lose it all.

Yet somehow, right before the wall closed, you pushed him toward the rest of the phantom thieves, taking his spot in death.

“Why?” is all he could think. Akechi takes all the blame within himself.

Ryuji would WANT to blame Akechi, but he knows deep down that it isn’t true. It wasn’t his fault and he hated it.

Ren’s beyond devastated, and feels partially a failure of a leader. But, he tries to make sure your sacrifice won’t be in vain, even if it means becoming friends with Akechi.

Yusuke is just as confused and lost, being more quiet. He withdraws himself a lot, being too quiet. 

Yusuke can’t even paint or draw. What is there to create? 

Ryuji is more angrier than usual, a bit more aggressive as well. He knows he is and he hates it, but he can’t help it. This is especially more prominent towards Akechi.

Akechi at first avoids the Phantom Thieves at all costs, but after a talk with Ren, he comes to a conclusion to help and be part of the Phantom Thieves in hopes of doing the right thing for you.

After all, it would be what you wanted, right?

Hello. Could I get some Ryuji x reader who has been put on bed rest. Like, they are usually very optimistic and super sporty (a promising MMA fighter if you don’t mind getting specific) and they broke their leg badly during practice so it’s very miserable. Double miserable since they want to keep being a phantom thief. And also worry about their leg healing right. Let me tell you the past week was HELL and I have 5 more to go until i get news regarding coming back to the school team. first of all, ryuji gets it. he knows how awful a leg injury can be, especially if it's intrinsic to your sport. been there, done that, and now he's here for you, whatever you need.

he feels SO BAD that you have to sit on the sideline for god knows how long, both in your sport and in the metaverse :( at first you're on bedrest and ryuji always makes sure that trips to the metaverse are short and productive - he wants to spend as much time with you, anyways, and just doesn't want to think about doing phantom thief stuff without you!

when you get a little bit better and you can sit in the mona van on mementos trips, he ALWAYSSSS sits next to you and tries to cheer you up with jokes, little stories, whatever!

despite not being very studious, he does his best to get class notes for you so you're not super out of it when you come back
