6th day "BLADE" (scene 2)
"…Rider. Was it true, what Shinji said earlier?"
I call out to her, not expecting a response.
"―――――"
There's no change in Rider. Her hair flutters in the wind.
"It was not a lie. It is true that a witch is up on the mountain."
"…Right. Sorry for asking a stupid question when we're enemies."
I raise my hand to thank her and exit.
―――Then.
"Huh… Rider?"
"Be careful if you are to challenge her. That witch knows men inside out."
Rider talks without interest.
I notice myself getting drawn in by her voice and quickly shake my head.
"Uh, um… thanks for the warning.
―――And please take care of Shinji. He's always like that, so please protect him."
I'm taken aback, but I manage a reply.
That must have sounded funny.
"…You must be a good person. I understand why Shinji is trying to have you on his side."
Rider smiles a bit and returns to the house after saying so.
I descend the hill and return to the intersection.
If I head up to the residential district on the other side, I will be heading home, but―――
"…There's a Master at Ryudou Temple, huh?"
An hour's walk to the mountain.
Taking the mountainside road, one can reach the mountain gate that leads to the Ryudou Temple.
The Ryudou Temple is a large temple up on the mountain, as big as our school.
Its cemetery is large, but more than that, it's a small world made up of fifty practicing monks.
The people of the town are helped by the people of Ryudou Temple, but they also honor it as a sacred place that is not to be visited lightly.
"…Come to think of it, I haven't been to Ryudou Temple recently."
Ever since I went there last summer to stay there as mental training.
The temple's life gets really hard during the winter, so I was thinking about returning there during the winter―――
"Hm? What is someone who boycotted afternoon classes doing here?"
Speaking of the devil, or whatever…
I run into Ryudou Temple's successor, Ryudou Issei.
"Yo. Is school over already?"
"Of course it's over. I'm heading home since I don't have anything to do for the student council, but is something wrong? You seemed to be staring at the mountain."
"No, there wasn't anything wrong. I just felt like going home."
"Heh. The teachers would be out of business if people skipped class just because they feel like it. ―――So, I'm asking why you were looking at the mountain."
"…Well. Issei, it's a small thing, but has there been anything strange going on recently?"
"Well. Change is common, but nothing has drastically changed. The mountain is always peaceful, and peace makes up ordinary days."
"Sorry Issei, I'm being serious here."
"H-How rude! I'm serious too!"
"It looks like it. Then it's good, I guess it was just overanxiety."
"Fine, if you understand. I wouldn't joke with you."
With a cough, Issei calms down.
"…But, hmm… There has been a change, but I wonder…"
"Huh…? A change? In the temple…!?"
"Woman―――does Ryudou Temple have nuns?"
"Yeah. Not the mountain, but the air at our temple is restless. She's apparently an acquaintance of my father, but we've taken in a bothersome guest. It's a problem because she is beautiful.
Geez, why is everyone making so much commotion over one woman?"
"No. This is a special circumstance, and we're letting her use a room until the wedding celebration―――no, but this person is so beautiful that it even captivates me when she's getting water from the well."
"What do you mean 'a special circumstance'… hey Issei? Hey, are you listening to me?"
"Mm, sorry. That is why women are bad.
Reject lust, be calm Issei."
The student council president starts to recite Buddhist scriptures.
…Geez, he's so serious, so he's hard to deal with when he gets like this.
I guess he still didn't hear me as he disappears into the back of the town.
"Heeeey, are you all right Issei?"
"No problem. My training is insufficient, so I wish to purify myself more."
The sun is already setting by the time I reach my house.
I'm home first just like yesterday.
Sakura and Fuji-Nee will be here soon, and Tohsaka should be back too.
"…I'll talk to her about what I heard from Shinji after Sakura and Fuji-Nee go home…"
There's no point in talking about it when those two are here.
That decided, I have to go and prepare dinner.
Tohsaka got me yesterday, and I have to try to put Fuji-Nee in a better mood.
Cooking takes time and effort before love.
If I am to go for a sure win, I will have to spend twice as much time.
―――So.
After all that, what happened is…
"Huumph! What, I didn't lose! Stupid Tohsaka-san! Bully!"
"I'm talking about the taste of the food. Um, it's the best dinner so far according to Fujimura-Sensei, so I'm saying we should share it among everyone."
"… Hmmm… I think she's saying something else.
Tohsaka-san said she didn't want to eat the food Shirou cooked."
"That's only in the mornings. I eat dinner like normal and we take turns cooking dinner, so it is my right to eat.
If you don't like that, please take my place tomorrow."
"Ugh―――that personality that strikes precisely at my weak point. Man, I didn't think you were such a terrible student."
Fuji-Nee reluctantly returns the pot to the table.
And so, the specially prepared rice returns to the table safely.
"…Hold on, Fuji-Nee, I cooked a lot so you don't need to hurry. I made enough for everyone."
Munch, munch.
"T-That's right… but Senpai, isn't this a bit too much?"
Munch, munch.
"Yes. Two casks for four people is obviously too much."
Munch, munch.
"It's not a cask, it's a pot. And it's fine. The rice is today's main dish, so there can be lots of it. If there's any left over, I'll make some riceballs and it'll be lunch for tomorrow."
Munch, munch.
"Oh, can I have some too? I usually don't like fried rice, but this is exceptional. There are lots of things in it. What exactly did you use?"
Munch, munch.
"…Fine! I'll eat it all myself then! You watch!"
"It's basically rice mixed with mushrooms, right? There are lots of details, like the way it's using citrus instead of fried things for its aroma."
Munch, munch.
Fuji-Nee must have given up taking the pot for herself, as she starts to eat really fast.
She empties her bowl quickly and asks for more in no time.
"…Fine, but it won't run out even if you take it slow, Fuji-Nee."
"That's fine! I'm going to eat Shirou's food, so I won't give it to some stranger!"
She snatches away the bowl.
"―――?"
I don't get it.
Sakura is smiling awkwardly, Tohsaka is ignoring Fuji-Nee, and Saber is eating her food.
…I put in a lot of effort to make this, but it might have had the opposite of the desired effect.
The dinner that was supposed to have Tohsaka admit defeat ends loudly because of Fuji-Nee's strange actions.
"Then, see you Senpai."
"Yeah. Fuji-Nee, please take Sakura home safely."
"Yeah, yeah, I know. Don't worry."
Stepping lightly, Fuji-Nee holds Sakura's hand.
"What? Shirou, you look like you're wondering about something."
"Of course I'm wondering. Usually, people can't move after eating that much."
"Really? It was tough, but it's fine once you swallow it."
So you should realize the problem is that there's no limit to that, Tiger.
Just as one would expect from a wild tiger. If possible, I don't want it accidentally trespassing into human society.
"Then see you tomorrow. Don't stay up late, you two."
"Yes, good night Senpai."
"Yeah, night Shirou."
I see the two off and return to the living room.
I said I had to talk to them after dinner, so Tohsaka and Saber are waiting in the living room with serious expressions.
"Thanks. ――So what is it that you want to talk about?"
"About the other Masters. There's something I want to tell you guys."
Saber raises her brows a bit.
…As a Servant, she must prefer battles where she uses her sword to these peaceful days.
But her wounds shouldn't have healed yet.
The wound on her chest made by Lancer's "Noble Phantasm" isn't something even Saber can heal quickly.
"―――――"
Thinking about that makes me hesitate telling them about Shinji.
I feel the same way as Shinji.
I want to avoid starting fights, and―――I think the girl in front of me swinging a sword is a disparate image.
"Shirou. You have something to tell us?"
"Uh――yeah. Right, this is something I should tell you guys. …To put it simply, I went and met with Rider's Master today."
"Wha… Rider's Master!? When did this happen!?"
"Ridiculous! Meeting with another Master by yourself, what were you thinking!?"
"Whoa, hold on, calm down…! It's all right. I'm not hurt, so don't get mad."
"Do not get mad!? No, I am not mad.
I am only stunned by your actions."
"…Me too. Well, it's no use arguing over what's done.
So, what's going on Shirou?"
Tohsaka and Saber glare at me with obvious anger in their eyes.
…Geez.
I thought they would say something about me being thoughtless, but I didn't think they would get this mad.
"…I met him this afternoon.
I only went because he wanted to talk to me, and it's not like we fought."
"I can tell by looking. So, what kind of a guy was Rider's Master?"
"What kind of guy… well, it's Shinji.
He called out to me when I was searching for the boundary field. He said he wanted to talk to me and asked me to follow him, so I went to Matou's house."
"Huh―――yeah, well, that's true, but… it can't be true. The Matou family was exhausted in the last generation. No matter what they do, their children won't have a Magic Circuit. That's for certain."
"Wha――Shinji? You mean, that Shinji!?"
"Yeah. Rider was obeying him, and he knew about the Holy Grail War. According to him, the Matou family is a lineage of magi with a history."
Tohsaka declares so.
If so, Shinji and Sakura really should be normal people without Magic Circuits.
"…I see. I messed up. There certainly could be such cases… If they have grimoires remaining, he would be able to become a Master. Then geez, my actions were totally obvious to him! I'm an idiot."
"Yeah, Shinji said that too. But he said they still had the knowledge. Something about it being taught only to Shinji, the eldest son, so Sakura didn't know about it.
…In short, he's a Master rather like me. He said he doesn't have any magical energy, so he wouldn't be detected by your perceptions."
Tohsaka is mumbling, reflecting on her actions.
…Hm. Tohsaka is close to perfect, but I think there are a few things missing.
Unfortunately, they're the most crucial ones.
"That was a mistake on my part. I should have kept an eye on Shinji. If I'd known, I wouldn't have let him construct that boundary field."
"Oh, Shinji said the boundary field at school wasn't his. He said there's another Master at school."
"…No, I'm not that good-natured. As long as Shinji goes to our school, I think there's an even chance it's his doing. The alternative being the unknown Master."
"Yes, that's true. It's obvious that there's another Master at school who we don't know about.
But Shirou… don't tell me you're just trusting Shinji's word that he's not the one who constructed the boundary field?"
"Even, huh? …I think you're still being very good-natured.
Well, that's fine. That good nature is just the way you are, and that must be why Shinji told you his true identity."
"…?"
"Oh well. So what did you talk with Shinji about?"
"He asked me if I wanted to cooperate with him. It seems Shinji has no intention of fighting, so he seemed to want to ally with someone he knew."
"Eh――Shirou, then you…"
"No, isn't it natural to refuse? I've already joined up with you.
Even if I were to agree, I'd have to ask you first."
"Oh… yeah. That… is true. But didn't you say you refused?"
"Yeah. Like I said, I answered Shinji on my own. It wasn't something to debate. …Oh, was I too hasty?"
"…Not particularly. I think your decision was correct. Well, if you were the one asked, it's not something I can complain about."
The way she mumbles so isn't like Tohsaka at all.
"…If you think so, it must be true. But a Servant's true power is determined by their Noble Phantasm. Please do not underestimate her until we find out Rider's true identity."
"That was it from Shinji.
From what I saw, Rider isn't a strong Servant. Even putting Berserker outside of the picture, I don't think she had the same presence as Lancer. And Rider herself was more normal than I expected."
"…Yeah. I couldn't tell at all which heroine she was. See, Lancer and Berserker feel like heroes, right? But Rider didn't have that feeling. I felt like she was different from a normal Servant."
"――Different from a normal Servant?
I do not understand. Rin, can you explain Shirou's strange feeling?"
"Huh…? Uh… yeah, I think I understand.
Well, it's because the Master influences which heroic spirit is summoned as the Servant. The Master and Servant end up being similar people.
"So if the Master is a noble person, a heroic spirit similar to them will be summoned. And if a person with a huge scar in their mind summons a heroic spirit, a heroic spirit with a scar in their mind appears as well.
The strange feeling Shirou had towards Rider must be that.
A Master with a crooked mind sometimes summons vengeful ghosts almost like heroic spirits instead of a hero."
"Vengeful ghost almost like heroic spirits… could that be what you were talking about before――"
"Yes. A mass murderer that loves the sight of blood and thinks nothing of killing people.
Actually, there are heroes with only massacres to their legend, so it's not strange for something like that to become a Servant."
"―――――"
Is that so?
Certainly, I could only smell blood on Rider, but she didn't seem like a blood-thirsty killer….
"…Well, that's all there is to say about Rider.
There's one more thing, but it might be the most important.
According to Rider, there seems to be another Master at the Ryudou Temple. I guess this Master is collecting magical energy from everyone in this town. What do you two make of this?"
"Ryudou Temple…? You mean that temple at the top of the mountain?"
"Yeah. What, does it mean something to you, Tohsaka?"
"Of course not. It's just the opposite. I've never been to the Ryudou Temple.
I don't know what kind of a Master this person is, but normally, you wouldn't choose to position yourself in such a remote place."
"Right. I was also surprised when I heard that a Master's at the Ryudou Temple.
Even though it won't draw people's attention, there are many monks living there. If they act strangely, I think there'd be an quick uproar."
"Hmmm… I can't quite trust that story.
Even if it was the case, the Ryudou Temple is on the outskirts of the suburbs, right?
To reach out to Miyama City and Shinto is more like a waste of magical energy than a great magic. Such large scale magic is impossible even with the magical energy collected from it."
Then, Tohsaka starts to think with a troubled face.
I'm relying on Tohsaka's opinion, so there's nothing I can do until she talks again.
"Did you forget, Shirou? I have participated in the Holy Grail War previously as well. I am well-informed about the city, and I know that the temple is a fallen ley line."
"――No, that story is very plausible.
If one takes that temple, such magic would be naturally possible."
"…? Saber by 'that temple'――you know of Ryudou Temple? I haven't taken you there yet."
"――Fallen ley line!? Hold on, that's what my house is! Why are there two foci of ley lines in one area!?"
"I do not know, but that temple is a place magi can call sacred.
I hear it is where the life of the region flows to, so it would be a perfect base to collect souls from. A magus need only to intervene in the natural flow to collect life forces from the whole city."
"In other words, it's just an area that's spiritually superior, right? That's only natural. You don't build a temple anywhere else."
"…I've never heard of that.
But if that's the case, then it would certainly be possible for someone to steal life forces from all the people in the city…"
"Ugh――o-of course. You don't need to tell me that."
"I thought so. Temples and shrines have been built in sacred places to protect the town since ancient times. It's not that the monks pray to grant happiness. They remove evil by sealing the ill-omened. On that basis, it's only natural that the mountain Ryudou Temple is on would be a sacred place."
"―――!"
"Hey――I don't want to consider this, but did you think that Ryudou Temple was just for show?"
"Yeah, I did, is there something wrong with that!? Until now, I thought that temple was just for show because it didn't have any practicing healers!"
"Practicing healers…? What is that?"
"People who let ghosts go to heaven without using chants, faith, or prayers.
Enlightened people try to do so with just Buddhist powers, but monks without enough training haven't reached that level yet, so they add their own power to create spells like ours.
There's some kind of organization of those kinds of people in this country. But they're incompatible with the Magic Association, so I don't know too much about them.
"No, more importantly, the temple.
If that temple is a ley line, Masters should try to take it immediately. That's strange… why are others ignoring that place?"
"No, Rin, that is wrong. It would certainly be easy for a Master to gain control of that temple. But that mountain has a boundary field that is inconvenient for Masters."
"Because the Ryudou Temple is there, right? They keep watch so it doesn't get misused."
"The monks at the Ryudou Temple are all pure monks in training.
They aren't like us, so it'd be easy for a Master to control them."
"Eliminates anything other than natural spirits――then that means Servants can't enter the mountain!"
"…? A boundary field that's inconvenient for us?"
"Yes. There is a spell on that mountain that tries to eliminate anything other than natural spirits. It has no effect on normal humans, but it is a dreadful place for us Servants."
"It is possible, but our abilities would degrade.
It is much like receiving a Command Spell telling us not to go near that place."
"――Then how is the Master at the Ryudou Temple maintaining its Servant?"
"There is no boundary field once you enter the temple.
I hear that the boundary field was originally a border to protect the temple. The boundary field is only something that rejects people from outside, so it has no other powers."
"…Then if we make it inside, there's nothing that affects the Servant?
"…But that's strange. If you close the temple off like that, the ley line itself would stop. You would have to at least keep one way open or it couldn't be the center of the ley line, right?"
"…I see. That must be it. If you close off all the gates, the air inside will stagnate. Hmm, only the main gate, huh…?"
"Yes. If you think in terms of the temple, it cannot refuse those visiting through the proper entrance. It may be following on this idea, but I heard that the road leading to the temple does not have the boundary field.
At that temple, only the main gate does not have the power to command us Servants."
"That is all that I can tell you.
――So, please come up with a plan. We have proven that there is a Master, so I believe there is only one action to take."
"―――――"
I know what Saber wants to say.
Her eyes tell me that since the location of the enemy is known, all that's left is to attack.
But――――
"I'm going to pass on this.
It seems like a trap, and honestly, I can't take any action with this little information. If you're going to go to their homeground, you should at least wait until you find out what kind of Servant they have."
"…That is unexpected. I thought that you would go and fight."
"Go ahead and insult me. Archer isn't fully healed yet, so I'll remain a spectator for a while."
"I understand. Then Shirou, let us go to the temple by ourselves."
"―――――"
Saber says this as if it is the natural thing to do.
But that's…

8th Day - Interval Level1 (Scene 2 Attempt 2)
"――――――――" No, it'll be dangerous to talk about this. Issei's living at the Ryudou Temple. If he gets suspicious of this 'strange woman', Issei might get curious and do something. And―――if that woman happens to be a Master, Issei would be in danger.
"――――――――" This is it for today. I'll call it good since I found out Issei's unrelated to the Holy Grail War.
"Oh, by the way, Emiya. Shinji's sister wasn't at school today." "…Huh? Sakura's not at school?"
"Shinji was absent as well. They were both absent without notice today, so the teachers are wondering if something happened at their house or not." "――――――――" I'm at a loss for words, being confronted with a problem I'd forgotten.
"Oh, lunch break is over. Let's go back to the classroom." Issei pushes me out of the student council room. …All the while… Thoughts of Sakura's absence and what Shinji may have done after losing Rider twirl around in my head.
Interlude 8-1
It is a sound like hitting steel. "Haa―――Haa―――Haa―――Haa―――!" He arrives at the place, breathing heavily. His footsteps are loud, and their rhythm is unsettled. He leaves the door open and staggers forward, as if pulled by his falling body.
He looks around. The church is empty, with the morning service already over. The only light is the sunlight coming in from overhead. The silence creates a solemn atmosphere, and the stopped space creates a clear silence. He is like a heresy in it all.
"Ah―――haa…. haa――――!" ―――No, that is not accurate. To say he "arrived" is not correct. His ragged breath, his unfocused eyes… His shaking limbs are like those of someone running away. He has come here to find shelter. Now, everything makes sense. His desperation is like that of prey being chased by a hound.
"It has been six days since the war started. You are the first one to come here." "――――!" He straightens his body that's about to fall onto the ground. When did he appear? He looks with bloodshot eyes at the priest before the altar, and he says something.
"――――――――" The priest frowns. He did not completely understand the boy, but it seems he is asking for help. He wants protection. A Master that has lost his Servant may ask for protection under the condition that he withdraw from the war. The place of retreat, the last sanctuary, is this church. And the master of this place is the priest called Kotomine Kirei.
"――――Then you will withdraw from this war, boy?" The boy reacts like fire to the quiet voice. "O-Of course! Are you telling me to die…!? I can't kill anyone without a Servant, so I don't want to be a Master…! I-I'm a normal person. I'm a victim, right!? It's unfair for anyone to kill someone like me…!"
"――――――――" The priest does not answer and only looks at the intruder. …As if to peer within his skin, bones, and meat.
"―――What? Do you have a problem?" "No. You are the first to withdraw this time, and you are the first user of this church since it was built. I shall treat you properly in the stead of my father who started this place." "Huh? What, I'm the only one who retired? …Damn, this is shameful. I don't know what my grandfather will say if he finds out about this. Man, this is all you guys' fault…! It's so unfair that I got a piece of shit like Rider!"
He strikes the ground in rage. The sound of the punch echoes like a bell, and the priest smiles with great interest.
"So, Rider was useless?" "Right! …Man, she was only useful as a woman.[l] Damn, she died so easily even though I did so much for her! Another Servant would've been so much more useful!" "―――――――"
"…Oh. But I did well. I did as my grandfather told me, and everything was set! But they all got in my way…! It was two against one. There was no way I could've won in a situation like that. …Yeah, it wasn't my fault that I lost. It's just the difference in quality of our Servants. But―――they were so elated with their victory―――!!!"
And he crawls on the ground. He hits the floor, grieves his misfortune, and reflects his obstacles. But his resentful voice disappears quickly. Hatred of his level cannot break the silence in this church.
"Damn――――Damn, damn, damn, damn――――!" He repeats his agony. In the midst of it―――― Tap. The priest's footsteps echo through the room as if to break the frozen air.
The priest slowly puts his hand on the boy's shoulder. "―――So. This means you still have the will to fight?" He looks down at the loser and says so with a kind voice.
"Huh―――――?" He cannot understand the priest's words. The priest in black has a friendly smile on his face. "You are very fortunate. There is a Servant who is available right now." The priest offers a new salvation, as if suppressing his joy.
End of Interval
School's over. It must be because of what happened yesterday. The students are not allowed to stay at school for any reason.
There's still time until the sun sets. I'll―――

While Issei’s sexism is an understandable character trait for him to have I don’t really get why it’s present period? Like the narrative never supports him at all so that’s not the issue but at the same time I feel like you could cut it out without losing anything if you feel me.

An Encounter in the Forest
(@pinksaltfreckles liked for a starter!)
Shirou found himself walking down the trail behind Ryudou Temple absentmindedly. For today, everyone else was preoccupied; Rin was in London attempting to further her position in the Magus Association, Sakura and Rider were out for a 'girl's night' as Rider had put it, and Saber had sworn to go out and find some form of part-time job (although how she planned on doing this without an ID, Shirou was unsure). And so, having taken care of his usual chores, Shirou opted to go and pay a visit to the Temple..only to find out that Issei was out and Caster and Soichiro-sama were out to see a movie. "What terrible luck."
He sighed to himself as he walked, taking in the sounds of the forest. "Maybe I'll go to the harbor and see what Lancer is up to..." “Is that seriously the best idea I can come up with?” He asked himself in his own head, casting his gaze downward and scratching his head in frustration. Turning his gaze back toward the forest trail only to see...someone? "H-Hello. What are you doing out here? Wait, actually, don't I know you from somewhere?" He stopped a bit of a distance away, unsure how exactly to react to this...possibly mystery woman.

Emiya Chii Chapter 4
I’m an unofficial translator for the 衛宮さんちの今日のごはん or Today’s Menu for the Emiya Family.
I translated chapter 4 and that was edited and type set by Miden and QC by Amelia. Type-set version: https://mangadex.org/chapter/142474/1 Here’s was the rough script:
Pg 45
Chapter 4: Spring Vegetables and Bacon Sandwich
Panel 2
Neko: My bad~ Emiyan.
Neko 2: But, you really bailed me out.
Neko 3: Since the last stop is Ryudou Temple.
Panel 3:
Neko 1: Well, isn’t this a bit much for one person? I could probably do it. Buuut~
Neko 2: It’s a lot to carry for one person, right?
Shirou: Can I even say “no?”
Panel ¾ bubble: On his way to his part time job at the Liquor Store—Copenhagen, Shirou was swept up and dragged along for a delivery
pg 46
panel 2-3:
Shirou: Let's see.
Panel 4:
Shirou: He’s still here, huh…
Panel 5:
Neko: hm? Something wrong?
Shirou: No, everything's fine.
Panel 6-7:
Neko: There! Finished! You were a great help! Cause of you, we were able to finish ahead of schedule.
Panel 7:
Shirou: If it's something like this, I'll always lend you a hand.
Pg 47:
Panel 1
Reiken: Oh?
Reiken 2: If it isn’t Neko-San and Shirou-kun.
Shirou: Reikan-san.
Neko: Sup Reikan? We've dropped your sake off over there.
Panel 2:
Reikan: Appreciate it.
Panel 3:
Shirou: Are those from the mountains…?
The wildlife might be more diverse than I thought.
Panel 3-4:
Reikan: Hmmm? Oh, you're talking about these, huh?
The mountain is bountiful. We'll be having things like Vegetable Tempura and Ohitashi style vegetables for a while. After all, this is our Spring Harvest.
panel 5:
Shirou: With this, I should be able prepare something simple like a Sandwich.
Neko: A sandwich, huh?
Panel 6:
Shirou: The vegetables would need to be shocked and then I would grill some thinly cut bacon and an egg. Then I would bind the sandwich together with a grained mustard sauce...
Panel 7:
Neko: ...Emiyan must be hungry, huh? It is around lunch time after all.
Aside: And we just finished with work after all.
Reikan: Ah. Your right. It is about lunch time. *
Panel 8:
Reikan: Shiro-kun, this modest monk also grows interested in this sandwich...but...
Panel 9:
Shirou: Huh? Umm?
Aside: You’re… saying you want me to cook, right?
48
Panel 1
Reikan: While the kitchen is lacking, please feel free to use it!
Neko: Since you have energy to spare~
Shirou's aside: ...were their insinuations.
Panel 2:
Shirou 1: The Ryuudou Temple Kitchen is more complete than I thought it would be.
Shirou 2: It seems like I won't have to go out and buy anything, but the kitchenware isn't uniform. I wonder... is this Caster's doing?
Shirou's imagination of Caster: "Sochirou's food will be handle by me!"
Panel 3:
Shirou: Okay!
Asside: I'll be stepping into your domain for a while*
*Took liberties here. A more literally translation with implication stated is: I will be borrowing your esteemed kitchen for a while. Basically, Shirou breaks out a really formal level of Japanese that is outside his normal parameters of speech.
Panel 4:
Instructions 1:
First create and prepare the Karashi butter by mixing Karashi* and butter in a pan until it becomes paste like.
*Wagarashi is a unique type of spicy, Japanese mustard, but in the American sphere the ingredient is called “Karashi”
Instruction 2 box: To prepare the sauce, we will be using mayonnaise, grained mustard, honey, and crushed pepper. The ingredients will be mixed together to make the sandwich sauce.
Aside near bowls :Margarine is a suitable replacement for butter
Upper right bottle: Mayonnaise
Bottom right bottle: Pepper
Upper left bottle: Honey
Bottom left bottle: Grained Mustard
Panel 5:
Instruction bubble 1:
Boil water with a pinch of salt and then heat the leafy green vegetable in the hot water until its stem becomes firm. This process will take between one to two minutes.
Instruction 2: When the water boils, place the vegetables into a bowl of cold water.
Aside in Instruction 2: Be sure to pour the scum out to remove the bitterness
Panel 6
Instruction: Remove excess water.
Panel 7:
Instruction 1: Season the egg with salt and then scramble.
Aside: If possible, try to avoid breaking the egg into multiple pieces.
pg 49
Panel 1:
Instruction: Using low to medium heat, panfry a few large cuts of bacon in oil until the meat is well done.
Warning: The oil can easily splash out, so be careful
Panel 2:
Instruction 2: After that, remove the excess oil. Something as simple as napkins can act as an absorbent.
Panel 3:
Instruction:
On a slice of loaf bread, spread the Karashi Butter and fill out the sandwich.
1. Spread the Karshi Butter
2. Set the bacon.
In the next step, the vegetables will be added. However, it is not recommended to allow the vegetables to come in direct contact with bread.
3. Used the shocked vegetables to fill the bread slice.
If the harder ingredients are layered this way, the sandwich would be easier to cut in the end.
4. Add the sauce,
5.the scramble eggs,
6. and then the last slice of bread.
Panel 4:
Instruction 1: Immediately after that and before you consider cutting the sandwich, you will want to preserve the bread's moisture by wrapping the sandwich in plastic wrap.
Instruction 2: Using a flat object, flatten the sandwich so that the ingredients will distribute itself evenly. This process should not take too long, but somewhere between five to ten minutes should be good.
Aside: A cutting board would be sufficient for the job.
Panel 5:
Instruction: Then using a kitchen knife, cut the sandwich in your preferred size...
Panel 6
Neko: Something smells incredible~
asside: My bad for not helping you.
Shirou: Ah! Great timing, Neko-san!
Panel 7:
Reikan: Nice!
Neko's aside: heeee~
Neko: It looks delicious, Emiyan~
Pg 50
Panel 2:
Reikan: Issei told me that Shirou is an amazing chief, but wow!
Aside: Speaking of Issei, it's unfortunate that he's absent today.
Aside 2:Today Issei is at school.
Panel 3:
Neko-kun, shall we dig in?
Panel 5:
Kojiro: Well...
Panel 6:
Kojiro: What are you up to,
pg 51
panel 1
Kojiro: Master of Saber?
Panel 2:
Shirou: Hmmm...
Panel 3:
Shirou: Caster isn't here today, huh?
Kojiro: Unfortunately, my masters are currently absent.
Aside: They went over there, perhaps?
Shirou 2: Ha~~so, I was right, huh?
Panel 4:
Kojiro: Is that what you came here to ask?
Shirou: Oh. Not really.
Panel 5:
Shirou: I made sandwiches and wondered if you wanted some.
Panel 7:
Kojiro: Well. Well.
pg 52:
Panel 1:
Kojiro: If you leave it over there, I'll make sure to give it a taste.
Shirou: Okay...
Panel 2:
Shirou: Got it. Then I'll come back for the plate later.
Panel 7: Huh?
Pg 53:
Panel 1:
Kojiro: Hou. This...charlock
Kojiro 2: Isn't too bad.
panel 2:
Neko: Yuuuup. This really is good. What do you think about adding this to our menu?
Aside: Then again, the maker is Emiyan.
Reiken: Didn't think about using the charlock this way...
Aside: I see. I see.
Panel 3:
Shirou: Well, we can later trying adding the charlock to pasta or tempura. Both sound good to me.
Reiken and Neko: Hmmmm
Panel 4-5:
Issei: I'm home, Reikan. Did you hear about the—
Issei 2: Ah. If it isn't Emiya?
Shirou's aside: Issei.
54
Panel 1:
**I've reordered the aside to be a part of the dialogue...It just flowed a bit more naturally to me when I did that.
Reiken: So, Issei's finished with work?
Reiken: Perfect timing. We've been eating the handmade food that you've been raving on about.
Reiken 3: If you don't hurry up, there gonna disappear soon.
** This is a more literal translation of what was said:
Handwritten line: Speaking of rumors....
Reiken: So, you come home, Issei?
Reiken: That's perfect. We're currently eating Emiya's handmade sandwiches.
Reiken: If you don't hurry and eat some, they're going to disappear.
Issei's asside: What did you say!
panel 2:
Issei: Emiya's sandwich.....
Emiya: There's still some left over...
Panel 3:
Issei: Yes. This definitely confirms my belief that Emiya is a master-class chief.
om nom nom
Panel 4:
Shirou: Huh? He's...gone?
Panel 5
Shirou: Hmm?
Pg 55
Left side:
[Ingredients] 4 servings
Sandwich Bread (8~10 slices) : 1 loaf
Charlock : 1 ~ 1.5 bundles
_____
Bacon (long size): 12 slices
(If you are using the smaller sized bacon then it should be around 16 to 18 pieces)**
Salad oil : (in a proper quantity)
Salt: (in a proper quantity)
(A) Karabutter:
Karashi: 2~4 G
Butter or Margarine: 50 G
(B) Sandwich Sauce:
Mayonnaise: 4 tablespoons
Grained Mustard: 2 tablespoons
Honey: 2/3 Teaspoon
Crushed Pepper: A pinch of it
If you have extra sauce, you can use it as a dipping sauce!
Point: You do not want the moisture from the ingredients to soak into the bread.
Point 2: Arranging the sandwich by toughest ingredient will making cutting the sandwich easier.
Right Side:
Charlock Sandwich
1. At room temperature, mix the ingredients in A and create the Karabutter spread.
Mix the seasoning in B together to make the sauce. If you have something like a clean plastic bag, please follow the instructional diagram.
Diagram on the right of Step 1:
B's Sauce.
Bubble 1: If you have a bag, then this step will be convenient.
However, if you don't have a bag that is fine. You can use a spoon to distribute the spread.
Diagram line 2: By cutting one of the pointed ends of the bag, you can use the bag to cleanly and easily distribute sauce.
2. Add the charlock into boiling salted water for 1 to 2 minutes and then dump the vegetable into the bowl filled with ice water. When the vegetable cools down, use something like a napkin to absorb some of the moisture.
!. If the vegetable absorbs too much water, it will become soggy.
3. Season the bottom of the egg with salt, scramble the egg in a frying pan. (Avoid breaking the egg)
4. The bacon should be cut in a few large size pieces and cook in oil from a low to medium heat until it is well done. Once that is done, use something like a napkin to absorb the surplus oil.
!. The oil easily splashes out of the pan, so be careful.
5. On a slice of bread, spread the Karabutter evenly
Arrange the sandwich like this: the bottom slice of bread -> Bacon -> vegetable -> The Sauce from B -> The scrambled Eggs -> The top slice of bread.
6. Wrap the sandwich is something like plastic wrap. Use a flat object and lay it on top of the sandwich between 5-10 minutes. Once the ingredients are evenly distributed, the sandwich is complete.
Diagram: Cut this way.
pg 56
Kojiro: Caster
Kojiro 2: can you make something like a sandwich?
Caster: What are you talking about?

1st Day - "One day" (scene 3)
It's something I've started. I should finish the job I began this morning.
"I'll change my plans. We're finishing the job from this morning, right? Let's finish the repairs before the exams start." "Thank you. Let's go and look at the patient in the art club then." "All right. Oh, and clear the people out of the room, will you? I can't concentrate with people watching me." "Of course. I won't let them get in your way." Issei quickly walks to the hallway, and I follow him out of the classroom in a hurry.
The sun has already set when we leave the school building. The school gates are already closed. It's seven o'clock and way past curfew. But thanks to Issei, we're not in trouble.
"You helped me a lot today. I'll certainly make up for it, so tell me if you need anything." "Yeah, I'll let you know if something comes up. I don't think anything will, though." I didn't help him to get something in return, so there's nothing I want from Issei.
"…Geez, I guess it is a problem to be too good a person. It's helpful to have you around, but I can't stand it when other people use you to their liking. Helping others is a good thing, but you should be more picky with who you help. You just help anyone who comes to ask you." "Hm? Am I that indiscriminate?" "Yes. And that's just going to let heartless idiots use you as they wish. You're a busy man, so it should be okay for you to decline from time to time."
"――――" I can't really tell, but it seems like Issei's worried about me. I've been called helpful since I was in middle school, as I don't turn down requests for help and don't ask for anything in return.
I guess Issei thinks that's dangerous. But I'm doing it because I want to, and it's not a problem as I decline things that I think are beyond me.
"It's nothing for you to worry about, Issei. I know myself better than anyone. Besides, helping people is a good thing. It's not something a son of the owner of a temple should be trying to stop." "But I think you're going so far that it might eventually overwhelm you."
"I'll take your warning. See you tomorrow, then." "…Yes, I'll see you tomorrow."
Issei leaves, looking discontented. Issei's house, Ryudou Temple, is up in the mountains. So naturally, our routes home go in different directions.
I walk through the moonlit town. Walking up the road, I notice that there aren't any people around.
The time is around seven-thirty. There should be people around at this time, but there's no sign of anyone.
"…Oh yeah." There was some crime here in Miyama City a few days ago. A burglar murdered someone, I think. That must be why there's no one around and why the school curfew became six o'clock.
"…Gas leaks and murder, huh? It's been getting dangerous lately." No wonder there are fewer people walking around at night. It's getting too dangerous to let Sakura go home on her own. Sakura's house is in the residential area on the other side of town. Starting tonight, I should walk her hom―――
"…Huh?" For a moment, I can't believe my eyes. There is someone on the road which I thought was empty. The person is standing above me as if looking down at me.
"―――――――" Without realizing it, I hold my breath. The silver-haired girl smiles and descends the hill without a sound.
As she passes…
"You'll die if you don't summon it soon, Onii-chan."
She says something strange.
I go up the hill and reach my house. As the lights are on, Sakura and Fuji-Nee must be home already.
I smell dinner the moment I enter the living room. At the table are Sakura and Fuji-Nee, in the middle of dinner. It seems the main dish tonight is chicken in cream, and Fuji-Nee, who loves white sauce, is in a good mood.
"Welcome home, Senpai. We're sorry for starting without you." "Sorry I'm late. I wish I could have come home earlier." "No, you made it. Could you wait a bit? I'll get your dinner ready right away." "Yeah, all right. I'll go and wash my hands, so make sure Fuji-Nee doesn't eat my food." "Yes, I will."
I return to my room. It's a fairly empty room compared to the shed, but since I don't have any hobbies, I think it's quite decorated. Most of them are random things Fuji-Nee has left here, though.
I wash my hands, change, and return to the living room to find my dinner ready.
"Itadakimasu." "I hope it is to your liking…" Sakura is terribly modest.
Her cooking skills have vastly improved in the past year. She has me completely beaten at Western-style foods, and I can barely beat her at Japanese food. Neither of us have touched Chinese. I'm pleased my pupil is getting better, but it's kind of depressing when the teacher is defeated by the student.
"―――Mmm." It's as good as I expected. Chicken becomes harder the longer you cook it, so it's juicier and tastier if you roast it before cooking it even though it's tedious. That's done perfectly here. It's a master's skill, forever beyond the clumsy Fuji-Nee.
"How is it, Senpai…? Um, I think I did quite well today…" "It's perfect. The sauce is great too. I guess you have me completely beat when it comes to Western food."
"Yeah, meaty food is much better since Sakura-chan started cooking." With that. Fuji-Nee, who had been preoccupied with her food, lifts up her head.
"Oh, Shirou. A student mustn't come home this late." …Ack. It seems she's in a bad mood now that she's seen my face, even though she was happy because of dinner.
"Geez, I bet you were helping someone again. That's good, but at least come home early at times like this. I even told you it was dangerous in homeroom. I said it for your sake, you know?"[l]
"Uh, can't you tell me that at home instead of in homeroom?" "You wouldn't listen if I told you here. It's more effective if I tell you at school." "…Sensei, I think that's abusing your authority. You shouldn't mix work and private life."
"No, it's not enough for Shirou unless I go that far. He's always on the losing side because he's the one helping everyone else. He should at least come straight home and relax sometimes, that idiot." "Hey, what do you mean by idiot? I'm not on the losing side if I help someone and they're helped by it."
"…Man. I wonder if you got that from Kiritsugu-san. I worry because you're like that." I don't exactly know how she's worried, as she's energetically munching down her dinner.
"…Um, Fujimura-Sensei. From what you said, has Senpai been like this since he was small?" "Yup, he's always been like that. He's the type that goes to help people in trouble. But he's not meddlesome, he's just a bit precocious."
Fuji-Nee laughs dangerously. "Fuji-Nee, I'll get mad if you say too much. You too, Sakura. Don't ask such boring questions."
I glare at them. Fuji-Nee clicks her tongue and backs down, but… "Fujimura-Sensei, please continue." Sakura is taking the lesson seriously.
"Then I shall. See, Shirou is a person who can't ignore someone in trouble. It's like helping the weak and defeating the strong. In the essay he wrote as a child, he said 'My dream is to become a superhero'."
"――――" …She's talking about things from so long ago. But it's all true, so I don't interrupt. Anyways, becoming a superhero is a goal I must not stray from even now.
"Wow. Senpai was a real kid." "Yeah, he was some kid. He would go and help girls being picked on by much older kids, and he'd do the chores around the house because Kiritsugu-san wouldn't.
Man, he was so cute and innocent back then, so why did he grow up so crooked?"
"Probably because of you. Kids think a lot when they see bad adults. Learn to make your own dinner before you say anything like that." "――――Wha…" Fuji-Nee crumbles. I thought she might drop her head and repent, but…
"Uhh, Onee-chan is sad. Sakura-chan, can I have another bowl?" Fuji-Nee asks for her third bowl.
Relaxing after dinner, it's almost nine o'clock.
"Well, what shall I do?" There's some time before my evening training. I should―――

8th Day - Interval Level1 (Scene 2)
Sorry for no update yesterday, I was super busy. SHould be back on track now, though!
…I guess I'll ask him about it. She's not one to reveal herself to the ones living at the temple, but I might be able to get some clues.
"Issei. Can you tell me about this unfamiliar woman? Is she from a foreign country, or is her face covered with something like a turban?"
"What is that? We would kick out such a strange person. …I don't know why you're asking, but she is a legitimate guest. …My brother is happy that she might be an evil woman, but I strangely like her. I have only talked to her once, but she is a good person even if she may look evil."
"Oh, wow. So asking the question was worth it, seeing how you're praising a woman. Did you fall in love with her?"
"D-D-D-D-Don't say such a stupid thing, you fool! I admire a part of her that she doesn't notice herself. First of all, I cannot fall in love with the lover of the one I respect as my older brother, Souichirou――――"
Issei suddenly stops and lowers his head. "Ah――――, ――――" I don't know if he felt dizzy or what, but Issei falls on the table and does not move.
"…? What's wrong, Issei? Is it anemia or something?" "――――No, it's not that I feel bad."
He raises himself real fast. I laugh thinking that he's acting like a coiled doll.
"――――――, Issei?" I look at Issei without looking at my slashed stomach.
"YOU fell for my trap. The order I implanted into THIS HUMAN functions only when HE meets SOMEONE who INQUIRES about ME."
I hear someone else's voice from Issei's mouth. When I realize that voice is of the Servant I met at the Ryudou Temple… "I DO NOT need this DOLL ANYMORE." …The knife in Issei's hand is stabbed into Issei's neck.
"――――――――" …My mind fades from too much blood loss. The wound. The wound reaching my organs is not causing my consciousness to fade.
My brain that wants to deny the scene in front of me freezes my consciousness. Issei falls down before me, not knowing what went on.
…I collapse onto the floor from my knees. I do not hold my wound, and I blankly stare at my friend who is now a corpse――――
Taiga Dojo!!
Yay, Gai**x bomb! Kyaa, Ragnarok! Well, it only takes a second to be careful, but the injury could last a lifetime. How was this dead end that teaches you it's not good to ask just anyone? Osu! It was such an irrational and sudden death! This is exactly what I expect from "Fate", and it is surely splendid! Yes. But we cannot forget about the sacrifices! Let us give Ryudou-kun a three-second silent prayer! Osu! The three second part is great, master! So, Ilya-chan. What is going on with the people at the Ryudou Temple? Hmm. They have this artificial Command Spell put in them. They become this thing that executes this one command when they find someone that breaks one of the "three rules" Caster established. She's good at making things. If she ever captures Shirou, I bet she'll turn him into a formal tool just to support her magic. Evil! I acknowledge Caster as evil! As a teacher, I cannot forgive anyone that would use others as they wish! …I don't know about calling her evil just because of that. It's true that Caster is weak, sly, and cowardly, but she's not truly bad on the inside. Hm? Why are you sticking up for such a witch…? Do you have something in mind? Huh…? N-No. I just want to say it's not bad to bind someone with magic. Oh, I remember. You've done worse to Shirou! Damn, you found out! Ouu… I can't beat that shinai for some reason. It's only natural. No magic is allowed in this dojo. You have to bring in a wild lion or a modern weapon to beat me. Have you repented of your actions? …Yes. I won't do anything bad again. Yes, that's a good girl! The boy's wish is granted as well! Rejoice, Shirou, Ilya is nicer in this route! Fine, fine. So I just have to stay quiet in this route, right? …Well, it's not smart always to be going on a rampage. I can help Shirou in this route and take one of the other heroines. What――you have put that much thought into this? Loli-buruma isn't good enough, so you're taking on such a great role in the main storyline…!? Ilya… she's a scary child…!
WOO! BAD END AGAIN! Once again, no vote today, since tomorrow we're just going to pick the other option we had.
