Notes- To the Beach! GOM x fem!Reader
Return to File
Recovery date: May 10th, 2024
Description: hiii!! hope your having a good day, I was wondering if I could request GoM x reader (separately) with a maybe more quiet and shy reader when they go to the beach and see her in a bikini (maybe a bit suggestiveee but it’s up to you!) they can get a bit flustered and protective 😭 thank you so much and dw if you don’t/can’t complete it <3,
Notes: This work was recovered in conjunction with @smtere we thank them for their contributions. Hope you don't mind the headcanons, it was the easiest for so many people. This is meant to be post last game, probably summer of their 3rd year.
Back to directory
Akashi
Is the most outwardly chill about it
Though he does find his gaze drifting and lingering (Aomine got halfway through calling him out once before eating sand)
The first time he justifies it as admiring your swimsuit, every other time is just a whoopsie
He’s not weird about it though, and he tries his best not to stare
Makes sure you put on sunscreen/ cover up if he thinks you need it
Will complement how it looks on you
I did say “most outwardly chill” and I meant it
He may seem cool as a cucumber but if you hug him he will short circuit
He doesn’t get much affection on a normal day and while he is much more mature than his friends, I refuse to believe this boy is not fighting off indecent thoughts every so often
Build a sand castle with him please
Midorima
Flustered and can’t hide it
Dude is pink, and not from the sun
His gaze also drifts and lingers but he won’t even give himself a chance to admire you
You cannot convince me Takao has not corrupted him, at least a bit, he can’t look at you without hear Takao teasing him
Like Akashi he looks out for you if you’re prone to sunburn
Midorima isn’t weird about you wearing a bikini, he just makes it weird by actively avoiding looking anywhere but your face
He definitely relaxes throughout the day though
By the time you’re leaving he compliments you, having finally looked somewhere other than your face
He’s fine with whatever you want to do, might even begrudgingly let you bury him
Kise
The most chill, he has sisters so bikinis aren’t something overly suggestive to him
That said it’s you so it does make him a bit flustered
He is also the most obviously protective because as a model he’s very familiar with… lingering gazes, there will always be weirdos
Keeps a shirt on while on the beach, claiming he can’t afford to burn, but it's actually incase you want it for whatever reason
He definitely enjoys the extra contact though, whether that be an arm around your waist or offering to carry you on his back, Kise strikes me as a touchy person
If your swimsuit starts to come loose he’ll offer to fix it for you
Showers you in complements
Wants to collect shells and swim
Murasakibara
Could not give two shits
Kise was chill, Murisakibara just doesn’t care
He compliments the swim suit, and he definitely stares a bit but when he gets caught he apologizes and looks away
Won’t initiate physical contact but doesn’t mind it, feeling your skin brush against his when you hugged him did make him jump a bit though
I don’t really have much to say here because I really don’t think he’d care
Although he will confront anyone making you uncomfortable, his stature is more than enough to make most people back down
Wants to spend the day lounging on the beach, you might be able to convince him to come float with you
Aomine
If it was anyone but Aomine it would be weird
Shamelessly stares
You can call him out on it but he’ll just make a sound of acknowledgement and keep staring, unless you tell him he’s making you uncomfortable
He may be forward and unashamed but he’s not a complete ass
If someone else is making you uncomfortable or just keeps staring he will fight them, though he tries to avoid that
Asked Momoi for one of her towel jackets for you incase you wanted it, he almost regretted it when she started teasing him for being a softy
He compliments you, but it’s stuff like “your boobs look nice”
Will imply he’d like to see you “show off” more often
Also fairly touchy, like Kise, and will offer to help fix your swimsuit if needed
He will also throw you into the water, there is no escaping
Kuroko
Like Akashi he’s outwardly cool and inwardly panicking just a bit
He will try and fight anyone making you uncomfortable but Aomine and the others have to save him
Like Akashi and Midorima will keep an eye out if you’re prone to sunburn
Any physical contact you make with him will spook him just a bit
He’s close with Momoi, and we know she wears bikinis so I think like with Kise they aren’t anything suggestive to him
I don’t have much to say here either because Kuroko doesn’t really wear his heart on his sleeve, though he will linger a bit closer to you throughout the day
Complements your swimsuit
Prefers to spend the day reading on the beach

Jealous
Aomine Daiki x Reader
"That's disgusting, Kise," you grimaced as Kise threw his towel, drenched in sweat, toward you.
"Rin-chi, come here," he motioned for you to come closer.
You stopped yourself from slapping him. He didn’t seem bothered by the fact that they were losing to Touo. It was the fourth quarter, and Touo was leading by 12 points. Kaijo’s loss against Seirin had already been tough enough, but Kise seemed to have different priorities tonight. Just like Daiki—Aomine, who usually found the game boring but was actually playing hard today.
You glanced toward Touo’s bench and quickly looked away when you noticed Aomine staring in your direction.
"What happened to the game plan, Kise?" You crossed your arms, looking down at him as he sat on the bench, chugging his Gatorade.
"Change of plans. Something’s wrong with Aominecchi. He seems determined to crush me today."
Kise's words made sense. Something was off with Aomine. He was playing, but it felt more like he was competing with Kise. The first quarter had gone fine, but since then, Aomine had been focused on preventing Kise from scoring or even trying to foul him.
"And?" You raised an eyebrow.
Kise grinned mischievously before answering.
"Nothing. I’ve got some ideas now. I think I know what to do," he said, standing up.
You scrunched your nose when Kise threw his arm over your shoulder and playfully kissed your forehead, just like he always did when teasing you. It was disgusting. He didn’t smell bad, but he was drenched in sweat, and it was sticking to you. You pushed him away, but he only laughed.
"Damn, focus, Kise," you muttered.
Kise shook his head, grinning, before running back to the court as the timeout ended.
------------------se
The fourth quarter was even more intense. Aomine was one foul away from being benched, but he guarded Kise like a hound dog. If you didn’t know them better, you'd think they were about to start a fight at any moment—one foul from either, and it could have turned ugly.
"What's up with number 5?" Mitsuhiro muttered, frustrated. They had noticed it too.
Touo won by 6 points. Kise's attempt to narrow the gap to 3 failed, as Aomine was relentless in preventing him from scoring throughout the quarter. After the handshake, Kise whispered something to Aomine, which seemed to put the latter in an even worse mood. Despite the win, Aomine didn’t look happy. He shot one last glance in your direction before heading to the locker room.
Kise, on the other hand, seemed to have won. He didn’t look upset at all when they all returned to the bench.
"What was that about?" You asked him.
"Nothing, Rincchi. Aominecchi is still Aomine," Kise replied with a grin, then threw his arm around your shoulders, dragging you toward the locker room.
"Come on, Rincchi. Let's grab some ice cream after."
You were glued to your phone, watching the game while waiting for Kise. You had been so focused on Aomine and Kise dogfight that you almost forgot you needed to study the game later.
You nearly dropped your phone when someone suddenly dragged you into the locker room.
"What the—Daiki!" You managed to catch your phone just in time.
Aomine shut the door and locked it. He was already changed into his Touo warm-ups, his hair damp, and his duffel bag hanging off his right shoulder. He tossed it somewhere—God knows where.
"What the hell is your problem?" you demanded.
You hadn’t spoken to Daiki in a long time, not since Teiko High. You never planned on transferring schools, but after the team disbanded, you were left alone. Daiki had been your "Kise" back then, but after all the victories, he seemed to lose his passion for basketball. He practically ghosted you before moving to Touo. Things hadn’t been the same without them in Teiko. Your parents had wanted to send you to Rakuzen, but it was too far from Tokyo. You ended up at Kaijo, which wasn’t terrible—at least Kise was there.
Daiki didn’t say anything. He just stared at you. You couldn’t meet his gaze for long. Up close, he looked so different. Taller. Leaner. He used to smile constantly during junior high, so carefree, back when he still loved basketball. But now, all you could see was that scowl, and bored expression. It frustrated you, seeing him hate something he once loved so deeply. You just wanted to wipe that expression off his face.
"What? Are we going to just stare at each other all day?" You crossed your arms, watching as his eyes flickered on your breast. Classic Daiki. How Satsuki ever put up with him for all these years was beyond you.
"Are you and Kise dating?" he asked, completely out of the blue.
You blinked, stunned. You hadn’t seen or spoken to Daiki in years, and the first thing he asks is whether you and Kise are dating?
"Why?" you asked, voice cool but guarded. You didn't confirm or deny it, watching him step closer. It was the kind of question that made no sense, but you couldn’t help but feel irritated. You took a step back, but his long strides quickly closed the distance, cornering you against the wall.
"Answer the fucking question," he said, his voice low, demanding
"Wow! Nice to see you, Daiki! You left for Touo without a word—no text, no explanation! And now you're asking me if Kise and I are dating?"
The words stung, but it was the tears burning at the back of your eyes that you struggled to keep in check. You locked eyes with him, defiant, challenging him to say something.
Daiki didn't back down, his gaze sharp, studying you as if searching for some hidden truth.
"I beat him today. And I'll beat him every chance I get until he gives up basketball."
You couldn’t believe what you were hearing.
"I don't understand," you said, your voice shaky but determined. "You were gone... now you're here, and you want to beat Kise. What does any of this have to do with me?"
You didn’t get a chance to finish your sentence. Without warning, Daiki closed the distance between you by kissing you, his kiss aggressive and overwhelming. You tried to push him away, but he was relentless—his grip too firm, his presence too intense.
He broke off from the kiss, and without thinking, your hands shot up, landing across his face in a slap. The impact echoed in the small space, but Daiki didn’t even flinch. He didn’t budge. His expression remained unreadable, but something flickered in his eyes.
You weren’t sure why you slapped him. Maybe it was the rush of emotions—anger, hurt, confusion, that had been building up for so long. Maybe it was the shock of seeing him again, after everything.
"I'm sorry," Daiki sighed, his voice heavy with something like regret. But you couldn’t tell if it was genuine or just him trying to smooth things over.
You sucked in a deep breath, trying to steady yourself. But the flood of emotions, the pain, the unanswered questions, the years of silence—rushed at you all at once. The years you’d spent thinking about him, wondering why he left, why he didn’t even say goodbye, felt like they were crashing over you in that moment.
You stood at 5'6", but Daiki’s towering presence only seemed to make you feel smaller. You pushed against him, the force of it useless. He didn’t move. He didn’t even flinch.
"You..." Another push, but he barely flinched. "fucking..." You pushed again, but it felt useless. "asshole." The words were sharp, a mix of anger and hurt, your breath coming in quick bursts.
Before you could react, Daiki grabbed your arm and pulled you into an embrace. His grip was firm yet somehow comforting, as if he was trying to hold you together even when you were falling apart.
"I'm sorry..."
His words hung in the air, and, despite the anger still boiling inside you, a warmth began to seep into your chest. His embrace felt different now, heavier in a way that made you ache. You missed him—missed the way things used to be—before everything felt so off. When he left without a word, it hurt more than he'd probably ever understand. Basketball wasn't the same anymore, but he didn’t even bother to say goodbye. Just a simple text would’ve been enough, but he didn’t even offer that.
"I hate you!" The words came out between ragged breaths, a release of everything you had been holding in.
Daiki’s hands found your shoulders, his touch grounding, even if it felt like it might break you.
"I know, baby. What can I do to make it up to you?" His voice was low, almost pleading, and then he pulled you in, brushing his lips softly against your forehead. The touch was tender, a stark contrast to the storm that still raged inside you.
"Remind me to beat the crap out of Kise for kissing you."
Your lips curled into a smirk. So, he had been watching you and Kise earlier, piecing together his own conclusion that you two were dating. You shuddered at the thought. What you and Kise shared was strictly platonic—always had been. Even back in Teiko. Kise had always been like that, affectionate and carefree, but never crossing the line. It was just the way he was, even with Satsuki around. Now, here in Kaijo, it was no different. He was just comfortable around you, a female who didn’t overthink every little gesture or word.
"You idiot, we're not dating. That's what you get for ghosting us." You playfully hit his arm, a smirk tugging at your lips.
Daiki scratched the back of his head, his awkwardness evident as he tried to brush it off.
"It seems so, the way he said it earlier," he muttered, still processing what Kise had implied.
Confusion flickered across your face for a moment before a mischievous grin spread across it.
"You're jealous, aren't you?" You teased, your voice laced with amusement.
Daiki groaned, remembering Kise's words earlier. He couldn't help but feel a growing irritation at the thought of Kise’s smug expression. A little voice in his head reminded him to hit his former teammate when they crossed paths again.
"What's got you worked up today, Aominecchi?" Kise asked
He hadn’t planned to be so invested in this game, but the way Kise’s presence kept pulling his attention toward the Kaijo bench stirred something deep within him—a mix of irritation and something else he wasn’t ready to confront.
"Woke up wanting to eat you alive," he answered, his annoyance dripping through his words.
Kise just laughed, already sensing the irritation bubbling inside his former teammate. He knew exactly what buttons to press to rile Daiki up.
"I see, good luck Aominecchi. Just like you, I’m inspired to beat Touo today," Kise said, intentionally glancing toward the Kaijo bench where you were watching the game with focused intensity. His eyes glinted with mischief, adding more fuel to the fire.
Daiki’s jaw clenched as he heard Kise's words. "I promised someone I’d win today so I can ask her out."
"Kise is dating someone, not me, of course."
Aomine let out a sigh of relief. He had been worried, thought maybe he was too late to even consider his own chances. Kise had really gotten to him this time.
As for you, seeing Daiki again felt like a breath of fresh air. Sure, it hadn’t started off smoothly, but there was something about seeing him on the court again, seeing him actually care instead of boredom or little to no effort playing that you hadn’t seen in years. It was like a missing puzzle piece falling back into place.
"So, that means I can take you out?"
You snapped out of your trance, surprised by the sudden question.
"What?"
"If you and Kise aren’t dating, then I can take you out?" His voice was laced with hope, yet you could hear the nerves creeping in. Daiki’s usual confident air was replaced with something almost vulnerable, as if he was unsure whether to expect rejection or acceptance.
You tilted your head, pretending to consider the offer. In truth, you already knew your answer, but teasing him a little felt good. Daiki’s unease was endearing.
"Okay, only if you beat Seirin."
Daiki exhaled sharply, a mixture of relief and tension flooding through him. He was confident in his team, sure of his abilities, but something about Seirin—especially that Taiga Kagami—had him on edge. He wasn’t one to back down from a challenge, but you could tell he was still stewing over the possibility of facing someone like Kagami.
"Okay, but can we have some ice cream after this?" Daiki’s tone softened a little as he tried to make the best of the situation, though you could tell he was still thinking about the game ahead. "Satsuki wants to see you."
Your face lit up at the mention of Satsuki. It had been too long since you'd seen her face-to-face; the last time was before the season started. Texts and calls just weren't the same.
"Can we bring Kise along? We were supposed to have ice cream too," you suggested, a teasing smile playing at the corners of your lips.
The moment you said Kise’s name, Daiki’s expression immediately darkened. His jaw clenched, and his frown deepened. You couldn’t help but laugh internally at how obvious it was.
"Come on, Daiki. It’s just Kise. He’ll be delighted to see Satsuki, too," you pleaded, leaning in just slightly to soften the blow.
Daiki sighed in surrender, the fight leaving his shoulders as he rolled his eyes. Despite his grumbling, you knew he’d go along with it. He always did when it came to you.

UNDER YOUR SKIN ^.^
kise ryota x gn!reader
in which your cute boyfriend does his skin care routine while you watch him lovingly, the same way you did when he first introduced you to his little routine.
tags: fluff, short fic, high school timeline, kise is a bubbly boy while reader has kind of a cool persona, this is so sweet the ants migrated, no beta im doing my skincare as i write
words: 390
you with your lovesick grin, all tucked on a fluffy stool chair watching your boyfriend put stuff on his face while wearing a bunny headband.
it was surprising the first time you discovered how deep into skin care kise ryota was but considering his successful career as a model, you felt a little dumb for not expecting that.
every now and then, he would even go home carrying a cute tote bag full of skin care products he got for free.
"you having a sugar baby side hustle i didn't know about??" you peer at him happily unpacking his little bag.
he huffs. "mean! i was at a modeling gig and they gave me stuff!!" you open your mouth to retort but he's faster. "and before you say 'so they think you're ugly?' just so you know, they want me to be their next model! isn't that so cool, y/n-chin?!"
he looks at you with those sparkles in his eyes.
you give him a lopsided grin. "that's great, baby," you compliment as you kiss him on the cheek. "so tell me about this little haul."
he smiles even wider, happy that you're interested. ryota starts explaining them one by one and some confuse you because you don't know if he uses those products everyday and it feels like it will take him an hour and—did he just say that that face mask take five hours to use?!
"actually..." you know that look. he wants something. "i think it'd be super nice if we could share! not that your skin is bad or anything, y/n-chin but i just think it'd be fun... if you wanna be into this kinda stuff..."
you look at him softly, admiring how bashful he looks as if you haven't been dating for 6 months.
"i'd love to, ryo."
"y/n-chin, come on. let's rinse your face now!"
a year later, with the same smiles on both your faces, you walk up to him.
"coming~"
your feet slowly lead you towards him. he steps aside to give you some room to wash your face, watching your reflection in the mirror.
"if i was a worm, i'd wanna be the type that lives under your skin. then i can feel how smooth your face is all the time."
he shudders. "don't be creepy, y/n-chin."

Aomine, Kise, and Murasakibara god they are just amazing but you know whats even more amazing about them when they refuse to admit they're a little spoon/sub its adorable and i love them so much omg
aomine, kise + murasakibara
tw; none
a/n; OH WOW YES </3 GREAT IDEA ANON + u didn't specify pronouns so i used gn, hope ur ok with that!
(+ i didn't want to include the sub part in this request, you can submit another one asking that if you want!)
aomine
- oh my god this one is the most stubborn one
- he 100% tries to put up the "im an alpha male >:(" front
- *gags internally*
- he finds comfort in your hugs, and he's yet to find out about your cuddles
- anyways, this man loves naps way too much
- (probably stayed up all night beating his me-)
- invites you over one day thinking you guys could just chill
- so how did he get into this situation?
~
"y/n, why are you like this?"
aomine grumbled, face tucked into your chest. he had mentioned once, only once, and now he was on his bed forced into this too-comfortable position.
"mm, you mentioned wanting to take a nap, so that's what we're doing."
"arg, yeah, but why are you the one holding me?!"
"because i can."
aomine let out a frustrated grunt, attempting to push himself up. he was soon pulled back down when you hooked an arm around his neck, making him lose his balance.
"stop whining like a baby, you're making the bed cold!"
accepting his fate, he allowed you to wrap your arms around him. despite his constant whining, both of you knew deep down he wanted this.
he's a tsundere, but he's your tsundere.
kise
- this mf would be too energetic man
- he's so talkative you'd probably have to tape his mouth shut to have a full night of sleep
- well i headcanon as someone who had to be that manly person because of his fangirls
- (yeah ik he hates them but who doesn't like praise + attention?)
- and he wants to impress you and keep you happy
- so one day after he got hit particularly hard by kasamatsu
- he came crying to you, so you did the only thing that made sense
~
"come here kise, why are you just standing there? didn't you say you wanted to cuddle?"
he looked at your expression for any sign of trickery, yes he did want to cuddle you but were you sure you wanted to hold him?
"like that? don't you want me to- AAAH!"
tired of his rambling, you had promptly picked him up and thrown him on the bed, flopping next to him. before he could protest, you wrapped your arms around his waist and buried your face in his neck.
"shut up already, just relax alright? i don't know whats going on in that pretty brain of yours, but you can let it go for now."
oh yeah, he's definitely getting you flowers tomorrow.
~
murasakibara
- dude, the least concerned about what position he's in
- he just wants snacks and sweet candy
- unfortunately, that constant snacking finally caught up to him
- when his mom texted you if you would take your big baby of a boyfriend to get some cavities removed
- 😀⁉️
- you agreed nonetheless
- waiting outside of the room was a little stressful
- very funny when he finally came out, a sleepy giant of a man just allowing you to pull him along to the car
- when you got home you made him change the cotton pads in his mouth and rinse his mouth
- unbeknownst to you, you were about to deal with THE biggest baby in the world
~~
"but y/n-chin i want candy!"
"atsushi, no. the dentist said you could only eat solid food in 24 hours, which includes candy." you scolded, trying your hardest to push him back into your shared room. surprisingly, he was compliant when he was under anesthesia, allowing you to guide him to the large bed.
he sat on the edge while watching you with dazed eyes as you rushed around trying to get him prepared for bed.
"y/n-chin looks pretty."
that definitely threw you for a loop, choking on air as you fumbled with the clothes in your arms,
"uh, thank you you do too. now, lift your arms so i can change your clothes."
after you finished the tiring task, you flopped on the bed with a sigh ready to take a nap. you soon felt a hand grip your waist, and before you could look up murasakibara had already placed his head on your stomach and fell fast asleep.
--
"i did not do that."
"you totally did."
murasakibara narrowed his eyes at your form, reluctantly sipping on a smoothie you made him.
"i did not, you're making it up."
"then explain this."
you whipped out your phone, holding it up with a satisfied smirk. there on the screen was the purple-haired giant snuggled up on your midsection as you held him in your arms.
"why did you take pictures?"
"atsushi stop dodging the obvious and admit that you did do it."
"no."
"well i guess you arent getting any snacks from me-"
"im sorry."
"that's better."

Not my characters. Swearing, insecurity mentioned, pushing & arguing. (My 1st KNB short, so be nice.) Fem reader has known GoM since middle school. (Now they're all at the same university.) Aomine her crush started dating her cousin Keiko & now they're at odds.
"Enough!" Aomine roared, pushing you back against the wall.
It didn't hurt, but you had never seen him like this, so maybe your fear overrode the pain. You were effectively caged in, his muscular arms blocking your view and any path of escape.
"I..."
"Shut up! You've said plenty. You're an idiot! You dislike me because I'm an athlete and you have this fucking stereotypical view of us. Get over yourself! The reason no guy in "our league" would give you the time of day is because you're too damn busy insulting us. Making us feel like absolute shit about who we are and choose to be. If you're too damn insecure to be around us, then get lost."
Your nails were sunk deep into the palms of your hands. You bit your lip hard so you wouldn't cry. The severity with which he looked at you made you realize this bridge was burned.
Clearing your throat, you stood straight and held his hard stare.
"You're right. I'm sorry for everything I've said. I hate that I mistreated all of you and rejected friendships due to my insecurities. I hope you can forgive me."
Your voice was surprisingly strong and clear.
Aomine was caught off guard by the apology. He'd expected you to run off. Probably crying, but no, you were holding his stare and not the least bit intimidated.
You took Aomine's moment of surprise as your chance to escape. Ducking beneath his arm, you walked stiffly, but at your normal pace, which could be considered sprinting even on a normal day.
"Hey, wait!" Kise caught your arm.
You wanted to get home, transfer universities, and never see any of them again.
"Please let me go, Kise. Aomine is right, and we both know it."
Kise sighed, releasing your arm and falling instep beside you.
"Yeah, but why? I've never seen you insecure, and I can't believe that's why you tore Aomine up like that. There has to be another reason."
"Why are you even talking to me? I insulted all of you."
"You apologized. I guarantee Kuroko, Akashi, and Mura already forgave you. You never apologize, so we all know it's sincere."
"Thanks."
"So, spill it. What set you off on him like that?"
"I'm an idiot. When I like a guy, I ignore them or treat them like shit to keep them away."
Kise smiled.
"Ahh, so I was right. Mura and I had a little wager going that you were crazy for Aomine."
"Not crazy, but yeah. I liked him a lot. I was hoping he'd fall for me even if I treated him like shit. There were times when we actually joked around or teased each other. When I saw him with Keiko of all people, I lost it. Part of me did it out of wanting to protect her and the other part because... I wanted to be her. Thing is, she doesn't need protection. She'll end up cheating on Aomine like she does every guy and girl she dates. I feel bad for him."
"Yeah, well, he'll figure it out. Look, I think you should talk to Akashi."
"I'd like that."
You and Kise jumped when you heard Akashi's voice. You both turned to see him smiling.
"How long have you been following us?" Kise asked.
"Long enough," Akashi smirked.
"Well, I'll see you later. We're still friends, so don't you dare blow me off," Kise warned.
You felt better with Kise's warm smile and kind words. You turned to Akashi, wondering what he could possibly want.
"I meant what I said..."
"I know. Let me walk you back to your dorm. If you don't mind my company," Akashi offered.
"Sure."
"I've known for a while you liked Aomine. I also know about the kiss. He hates himself for misleading you."
"Wow. You, uh, know quite a bit."
Akashi chuckled lowly, his hand brushing against yours.
"Would you come and cheer for me at the next game?" Akashi asked after a few moments of silence.
"For you?" You asked confused.
"Yes. I'd like to take you out afterward as well."
You stopped and turned to face him, wondering if he was messing with you. Akashi was as stoic as usual, fully focused on you with his intense eyes.
"Is this some kind of revenge thing? Like you get me to fall for you and humiliate me a few months down the line?"
Akashi laughed freely, surprising you since he always seemed a bit uptight.
"I know that I am not your first choice, but unless we're living in some kind of American soap opera, I'm not out for revenge."
Akashi chuckled softly shaking his head.
"It's a nice day out. Do you wanna go for a walk? Or do you already have plans?"
"No plans. No practice, either," Akashi responded.
You were nervous because you never considered Akashi more than a friend. Testing your luck, you brushed your hand against his again.
Akashi smiled before catching your fingers with his and slowly intertwining them. The tension from your shoulders seemed to melt away, and that made him happy.

the sweet to my sour | kise ryouta
kise ryouta x fem!reader
summary: the five times kise and the reader met and four times were a failure but the last one might be a success
word count: 3.5k+
warnings: the reader is a little mean and sarcastic so it might come off a little weird; language and kise being a player
a/n: first thing ive written in a while so please be nice
TRY NUMBER ONE: JAWBREAKER
the watermelon jawbreaker in your mouth was sweet but had the sting of sourness to it as you continued to chew on the hard piece in your mouth. it distracted you from the noisiness of the hallway surrounding you. It appeared that there was a new rumor going around about the same blonde basketball player that had a new rumor going around every week about him.
kise ryouta.
the blonde bombshell that has taken over the school since he started here not even a few weeks ago.
it wasn't a rare sight to see him surrounded by multiple girls begging for his attention or his teammates bugging him about practice or the next game. it was interesting to watch from a distance but you never wanted to get yourself involved with someone as popular as him. you just wanted to keep to your small circle and get through this school year without being noticed.
that image was destroyed all in one day.
you were passing onto your second period minding your own business about to push a jawbreaker into your mouth as it was the only thing to bring you some energy. when the thunderous footsteps of multiple people pierced your ears as you watch a swarm of girls running through the hall with the familiar blonde in front. it was inevitable what was about to occur. the weight of a 6ft basketball player hit your body which caused you both to hit the floor as the group stopped to stare down at the scene below them. the blonde lay on top of you with your head lying nicely on the floor you were sure to find a bruise back there later but you were more concerned with your inability to breathe.
" could you get off of me, please? i can't breathe," you whisper as you push on his shoulders.
he gasps and laid his eyes on yours, " oh i'm sorry! didn't mean to crash into you."
he stands up quickly with a hand reached out to help you which you subtly reject as you lift yourself from the floor. You glare at the girls surrounding you with a similar glare directed toward you. it wasn't your fault he fell on you, it was really their own fault.
" i'm really sorry about all of this. though most wouldn't mind the situation you were in just now," he cheekily says as the girls giggle around him.
a slight groan leaves your lips as a grimace settles on your lips. shrugging up your bag you decided its best to leave the situation before you lose your mind.
"wait, is there anything i can do to make it up to you?" he yells behind you as you had already turned the corner to your next class.
the best thing he can do is to leave you alone but ultimately god is not working in your favor as the next time you see him it is even worse.
TRY NUMBER TWO: WARHEADS
the green apple warhead felt tingly on your tongue as you made your way towards your locker and to hopefully leave the hell they call the school. only except the real hell was at my locker leaning against it with a petite girl standing next to him. he probably didn't even realize that he was leaning right on top of your locker instead was more focused on the words leaving his lips to the girl giggling below him. you groaned and continued chewing on the warhead as you slowly take steps toward the depths of hell. the sounds of their fake laughter filled your head with a horrible sound as you stood before them.
"can you move from my locker please?" you bluntly ask as they appeared oblivious to the people around them.
both their heads slowly turn towards you with small frowns on both their faces. the girl shoots you a glare as you stood before them as a minute pass by since you asked them to move.
"you guys are on my locker, can you please move?" you explain and they both stare at you like a deer in headlights. they both finally come to their senses and decided to move out of the way for you to move in the middle.
as you begin to put in your combination, you feel the piercing stare of blue eyes in the side of your left head and the fiery glare of another on your right side.
"aren't you the girl i accidentally fell into the other day in the hall?" kise asks.
you glance briefly at him as you switch out your books, " yes, that was me. thanks for the bump on the back of my head by the way. feels great. "
he chuckles," sorry about that. i can't control the crowd sometimes but you were standing right in the middle of the hallway."
you scoff, " yeah right. you have all the control in the world over that group you just decide not to. and i wasn't standing in the middle of the hallway i was walking to class and you ran into me. now if you excuse i'm going home to get away from whatever love fest is going on here."
with your final words, you slam your locker shut and lay your eyes on him with a lasting smirk. he stands with his arms crossed leaning on the locker beside mine with an eyebrow raised and a glimmer in his eyes. with a fluttering glance, you walk away feeling the same eyes on the back on your head though this time the blue eyes feel softer than before.
TRY NUMBER THREE: SOUR SKITTLES
the next few weeks were painful to say the least. it seemed that kise believed you and him were friends or even acquaintances. he would follow you around aimlessly talking your head off about something that you didn't have a single clue about. today he was rambling about the captain of his team berating him all practice yesterday. according to him, the supposed ' awful, terrible and mean' captain had no reason his behavior towards kise.
"i would have to greatly disagree," you mumble to yourself as you walk towards your next class with the rambling blonde beside you.
"what was that?" he instantly stops mid-sentence as he snaps towards you.
you shrug your shoulders and chuckle," its nothing. don't you have a class to get to?"
he laughs and almost skips down the hall with you ," i do but i rather walk with you!"
"why?" the question flies out of your mouth without really any thought or moment to catch yourself.
he is silent for a moment and appeared to be deep in thought as you watch his long eyelashes flutter on his high cheekbones.
"i don't really know to be honest. its nice to talk to someone who is will actually listen to me instead of just trying to hit on me."
your heart pumped a little harder as you listen to sincerity in his voice and watch as a small patch of pink runs up his cheeks. his eyes shift around the hall as he avoids eye contact with you.
"well, thank you for telling me, kise. never thought about it that way. "
his eyes finally meet yours even though you two were still walking to class with others having to move out of the way to avoid the potential collision. a zap traveled down your spine as his bright smile was directed towards you and the patches of his cheeks reach the corner of his eyes. this moment was imprinted into your mind from that day forward. time passed by with you and kise getting closer and closer each day till the rumors began.
everyone assumed they knew your relationship but it was anything from the truth. some people thought kise was just talking to you just to get in your pants and some people thought it was the other way around. the lines were blurred between you and kise at times when there were small moments when you even questioned what you and kise had. till one day the question was answered.
it was a late afternoon and kise asked if you could grab him a snack from the vending machine before his practice since he was running late and was starving. he practically begged you since you really wanted to avoid his team and the smell of them too.
walking towards the gym doors with a sweet snack in one and your sour skittles in the other, you slowly open the door to hear kise's teammates berating him.
"c'mon just tell us! everyone wants to know !"
"guys! its really not like that!"
"i doubt that. you haven't even thought about it? do you even like her? "
there was anxious silence as you felt your heart almost race waiting for his answer. he lets out his lazy smile and shot a basketball into the hoop.
"i've never thought about her that way. she's just a friend. that is all she ever will be."
if your heart was made of glass, you would have heard it shatter onto the floor. the unexpected pain wrenched the heart in your chest. you weren't supposed to fall for him but it was hard not to when he made it seem that he was only vulnerable to you. through your thoughts, you didn't realize your hand had let go of the handle making the gym door slam behind you. the loud slam of the door made all the heads in the gym snap toward you. the silence was defining as kise gasped and whispered your name.
"uh, i got you your snack. i'll just leave it on your bag," you squeak out as the ball in your throat made it hard to talk. you throw the snack on top of his bag and run quickly out the door.
you hear the sounds of your name behind you from the sweet voice that told you secrets no one else knew and told him your own. sour skittles run down the side of the bag as your drop it on the ground with the rain coming down from your eyes.
TRY NUMBER FOUR: SOUR PATCH KIDS
the silent treatment. usually works every time if you are dealing with an average person. but you are not dealing with an average person. you are instead dealing with a blond dumbass who doesn't understand the silent treatment. he has been bugging you since that day in the gym but you have been avoiding him and ignoring every advance or conversation he tried to start.
it was more to protect yourself as you let yourself get hurt by him before and you didn't want to go through it again. it wasn't even supposed to end up this way. how did you even get here? was it is the low conversations you two would have while studying or talking about things that neither of you would admit or talk about with others? you don't know when the feelings started or when they bloom into deadly flowers in your heart but you needed to rip them out from the root.
it had been a week since the incident and every day kise would follow you down the hall till either you ignored him enough that he would stop or you would glare at him hard enough that he would stop in his tracks. today you had hoped that he wouldn't try again to talk to you as you were already in a bad mood and didn't want it to lead to something where you would regret the words that would come out of your mouth. but it was already too late as soon as you turned the corner there he was waiting for you. you rolled your eyes and strolled past him as he groaned and followed right after you.
" (y/n), please talk to me. i can explain everything, okay?" kise begged as his voice went in one ear and out the other.
the built of anger from this morning and the instances whines behind you were only going to lead to disaster.
"kise, please, stop. i'll talk to you when i'm ready, " you lowly say to him as you hope that would stop him but it did the opposite.
instead he continued on his ramble of why he answered the way he did but the buzz in your head blocked out his voice.
"kise!" you finally yell out drawing in everyone's attention.
you both stop in the middle of the hall as he snaps his mouth up like a snapping turtle.
" just stop! i'm not listening to you anymore. please just stop! leave me alone, i beg of you," you whisper the final words as you watch his blue eyes water slightly before he huffs and stomps away.
this time you watch his back walk away with your eyes burning into the back of his head.
it was another two weeks before you heard anything from kise as he now actively avoided you but now you felt horrible about the way you handled the situation. you didn't want to lash out at him like that and let the frustration of that morning get the best of him. you couldn't build the courage to confront him face to face as every time you two made eye contact he would turn the opposite way. your chest turned as you watch his eyes soften towards you then quickly move away and turn his back to you.
late one afternoon after an intense math tutoring session that used to be attended by you and kise had ended, you went to your locker and head home when you noticed a particular candy sitting in the corner of your locker.
a pack of sour patch kids.
you don't remember purchasing these and only one person knew your combination.
kise ryouta.
there was a small pink note sitting on the front of the pack, ' i miss you :( meet me behind the gym after practice?'
a small smile crosses your cheeks as you take the note and press it to the side of your locker and take the candy with you, slamming your locker shut. with quickness in your heart and a sonic speed in your steps, you make your way to the gym to hopefully sweeten the sourness in your mouth.
TRY NUMBER FIVE: STARBURSTS
turns out you turned up to early for the end of practice since it wasn't going to end for another hour and a half but you didn't mind as you got to see what kise does best. he had begged you for months to come to his games but you simply refused as because of the fangirls you would have to deal with and the crowd was always too loud. but in this little gym with just you sitting on the bench watching him felt perfect. you really got to see him at his element without the lights and the crowd distracting you from the sight in front of you.
there was sweat running down his face and neck which caused him at some points to bring his jersey up to wipe his face. his eyes would meet yours every time causing a smirk to pass his lips as he watched your face turn away with a shy look in your eyes and with a blush painting your cheeks and ears.
in the final ten minutes of practice, kise runs up the bleachers towards you with a large smile on his face. he stops in front of you and you didn't think his buttery caramel eyes could get brighter but under the gym lights and the sweat dripping down his temple, they beat any pretty flower you’ve ever seen.
" meet me out front and i'll walk you home?" he whispers as your eyes shift behind his head to see his teammates smirking and looking at you both.
a tender finger under your chin turns you back to his soft caramel eyes and the blonde in front of you, " don't worry about them, okay? they are idiots. so, meet you outside?"
you shyly nod and watch as his smile get impossibly wider," good."
with those final words, he bounds back down the bleachers with a skip in his step almost making his trip on the final step. a giggle slips past your lips which makes his head turns toward you with a shimmer in his eyes and his smile reaching his eyes.
...
" i am really glad you came. i was positive you weren't going to show up," he says as you walk side by side down the path towards your home.
" well i can't resist a good bag of sour patch kids," you sarcastically joke, " but i am glad i came too. i wanted to apologize for what i said."
" that morning i had a lot going on and i let my anger out on you and i am sorry that i did that. i should have calmly told you that i needed some time to think about everything instead of yelling and ignoring you. so im sorry kise."
you finish your ramble as you watch his face contort into a small smile and a little nod of his head.
"thank you and i forgive you. i was never mad at you for what you did. was i hurt? sure but i knew that you didn't do it on purpose. i am also sorry that i didn't respect your space and give you time after what happened. i shouldn't have been so pushy so i am also sorry for my actions."
a smile spreads across your cheeks, " i forgive you kise. i do have to ask though just so i can get it off my chest. did you really mean what you said to them that day in the gym?"
without hesitation, " no."
the rapid response caught you by surprise as you quickly look up at kise with the most serious look you had ever seen on him.
"then why did you say it?"
"because i am stupid and at the time i couldn't tell them what i really felt when i didn't even know myself how i felt. i knew i liked you but i didn't realize how deeply until you already heard what i said. i like you a lot and i genuinely care for you. i want to be more than friends with you, (y/n). those are my true feelings."
your chest felt tight as your heart was pumping at an accelerated rate. you swallow the lump in your throat and stop the both of you before you made the corner to your street.
you grab his calloused hands and squeeze lightly as you stare into his starry, caramel eyes that beat even the hottest and sunniest day of the year. his eyes were filled with contentment and warmth as he stared back down at you.
" i like you too, kise. i don't know when i did but I've never felt this way about anyone before and i don't want to with anyone else. there is no one else i would want to share my secret stash of candy with or tell all my secrets to. those are my true feelings."
he chuckles," i feel honored to be the only one to have access to your candy stash."
"you should. it is very exclusive."
"good and there needs to be no other exceptions," he whispers above your lips as his face lays a breath away from yours.
" there won't be," you whisper back.
he lets a small smile before lightly laying his lips on yours in a sweet kiss that felt like a feather laying on your skin. his lips and hands move slowly on you as he lands his hands on your cheeks. your lips move in sync and slowly with his as you enjoy the small moment between you in the bright sun and cloudless sky.
he moves back lightly with his hands still laying on your cheeks. he smiles as he enjoys the sight of your cheeks squished together under his hands making him want to kiss every inch of skin he can find on your face.
"kise?"
his name draws him out of his fantasy as he sees you looking at him with your bright, warm eyes and the most adorable pout on your lips.
"yes love?"
a blush crosses your face at his pet name which brings a wider smile to his lips and his heart jumps at the sight.
" can we go get some starbursts? you stole all of them last time."
he chuckles and presses a small peck on your lips and then takes your hand.
" of course. i'll buy you any candy you want, sweetie."
" even the sour stuff you hate?"
"yes, i will. why wouldn't i ?"
he would give you everything you wanted even if it was sour and he hated it but you knew that you loved it and that is all that mattered to him just to see that sweet on your lips.
it was the sweetest thing he had ever seen and was his new favorite sweet.
a/n: ahhhhhhhh i finally finsihed a fic i could cry

A Girl on A Boy's BasketBall Team
Chapter 1: A Meeting With Red & Blue
E/n- Enemy Name
"There's nothing wrong with wanting to be the best right?"
"If anything it's in our genetic coding as humans."
"Strive for the best and you'll become the best."
Bright florescent gym lights that leave you partially blind, obnoxious tennis shoes squealing and squeaking as they slide and glide across the freshly waxed floor, the smell of sweat and B.O from teenage girls that desperately try to forget it exists by drowning it with overly flowery perfume and wayyy to minty gum, the crash of the rim as another basket is made scoring 2 more points, it's all so tantalizing.
So why? Why am I currently being yelled at by my coach, as my "teammates" whisper and jeer at me in the corner of the gym? Those sluts, with their toothpaste ad smiles and their gold flaked nails I'll show them who to laugh at when I dunk on their asses. They aren't even fucking good at the game, they only play for attention, to scared to break a nail or even to much of a sweat.
"This is the 3rd backboard your daughter has broken in a month." Your coach grumbles bitterly, fidgeting her foot up and down on the maple floor planks "The school really can't afford to keep replacing these monthly.
"Can't we jus' send a check to the school to replace the backboards." Your mother suggests boredly, as she pulls out a spare checkbook from her pocket scribbling numbers and scrolling through her phone simultaneously.
"Well it's not only that... your daughter she's an awful team player, she refuses to pass the ball to anyone else, all her teammates feel neglected on the court" Your coach backs away, her eyes longing yet, hesitantly rejecting the check your mother is waving towards her in her hand."But their winning right." Your father queries, cutting your coach's complaints short. "My princess's team is bringin' home the gold every time." Your dad rubs the top of your head playfully smushing your hair in the process as you whine and stomp for him to quit it. He obliges to your request of course, but not smacking you lightly on the back of your neck causing you to jump away from him.
"How many points did you score in practice today hunnie." Your mom scribbles more numbers on the checkbook paper after examining it again. "38 points mum." You fiddle with the hem of your jersey shirt nervously already knowing what to expect.
Your mother gives you "the glance" and clicks her teeth, not in disappointment you've come to understand, but more so in encouragement. "You can do better than that hunnie."
"Your mother is right princess, we need at least 50 points per session practice or not." Your father hands you 38 dollars from his brown leather wallet tucked away in his back pocket, to which you gladly accept. "Yeah I know, but it ain't my fault Coach, wouldn' let me play at all." You point your finger and blame accusingly at your Coach, who's face has begun to morph into annoyance from being ignored and spoken over.
"No excuses hunnie." Your mother places phone down and digs her free hand into her purse to hand you 38 dollars as well. "Fine..." You place the two sets of money in your wallet and groan slipping it into your sports bra. "Moving on ladies."
Your father breaks the tension in the area with his signature grin. "My princess will see you tomorrow right at practice right Coach." Your father gives the woman an even toothier grin along with a smooth chuckle, causing your "teammates" to swoon in unison, as he takes the check from his wife. "We'll jus' drop this off at the front desk and take our leave."
"Coach did you tell 'em yet."
"The team is ready to start practice again." A snobbish voice is heard from behind your Coach. She averts her eyes nervously and rubs her hands together. "I'm letting them know right now E/n."
"Oh, hi Mr. and Mrs. L/N." A girl with long silver hair tied in a high ponytail with a black ribbon strides over to your Coach standing beside her confidently. Her hands were placed sassily on her waist, hiding a mischievous smirk. She shoots daggers through her eyes at you for a moment as you both make eye contact, and quickly turns to smile sweetly at your Coach and parents. "Well hurry, we're all ready to finish the quarter."
"Let us know what?" Your mother questions, as you hand your schoolbag over to your father, who willingly takes it. Your coach clears her throat awkwardly, the whole room becoming deathly quiet. Slowly, you rummage through your mother's handbag for a stick of gum, placing the wrapper back into her bag.
She gives you another "glance" this time more fed up, and snaps her fingers rapidly. "What were you lettin' us know Coach." Your mother slides a pair of encrusted shades onto her face.
"We have places to be, my daughter needs a new pair of sneakers for next week's game and has a photoshoot in a few hours."
"Your daughter's off the team." Your coach says bluntly, as you hear E/n and the entire team snicker. "What the hell are you sayin' Coach." The dribbling of a basketball in your hand starts, as you raise an eyebrow at your coach waiting on a response. "All of your teammates think your a selfish player Y/N, and I'd rather lose one player rather than the whole team."
"So until you can prove that your ready to treat this team and I with some respect and sportsmanship you're off the team."
"Tch, really Coach is that how it is." "You're gonna' get rid of your most valuable player." The ball your dribbling rolls away from you, and E/n snatches it, spinning it around on her pointer finger, a fake sense of disappointment that you can detect from a mile away radiating from her voice.
"Maybe you shouldn't have been so selfish angel~." You ball your fists in pure anger, hissing your teeth loudly. "Don't call me that you skank." Your father rests a hand on your shoulder "Calm down princess."
"But father I-" Your sentence is cut short. "Let it be, if your off the team, it's final." Your mothers says bluntly, as a lump forms in your throat and you excuse yourself outside. You swing the gym doors open, ignoring the cruel headache inducing laughs of your teammates.
And in a fit of rage you punch a wall over and over, the jagged surface bruising your knuckles. "It's not fair." "Not fair." "Not fair." Not fair." You mumble repeatedly, turning around and leaning against the wall you had just finished assaulting.
You slump down onto the floor and bury your head in your arms. "Why do it matter, if I'm a team player or not." "They shoulda been grateful I was on they shitty ass team anyway." "That stupid skank E/n, has nothing better to do obviously." You hear the crunching of gravel as footsteps approach you and quickly you assume them to be your parents, but blinded by anger, you don't look up from your self-pity.
Two presences tower over you as you sit huddled in a ball, rudely snap at the figures. "What the hell do y'all want, I don't need no lecture or nothin'" "It's obvious yall didn't mind lettin' me get kicked of the team so go away."
"You've got the wrong people." A voice scoffs. Even more annoyed, you look up to see a tall and muscular red-headed man? His aura is quite intimidating as he looks down at you. "I'm not supposed to talk to older men." You bury your head in your arms once again.
"What the hell!" "I'm a teenage boy, do you not see the uniform." He grabs your hand and places it on his school uniform. "Whateva.. and tell your friend to stop standin' behind me like a weirdo." You pull your hand away and pick yourself up off the ground and turn around to see a pale boy with light blue hair.
"You noticed I was behind you." The blue-haired boy speaks quietly, his straight face matching his tone of voice. "Of course I did, you ain't Casper the ghost or sum shit." You look at him confused "I think I'm jus' gonna go, yo crazy asses."
"Before you do, why were you crying and punching that wall." The blue haired boy asks you. Your cheeks heat up in embarrassment, realizing that they saw your tantrum a few minutes ago. "Can we go know, I'm starving." The red haired "boy" grumbles obviously bored, as the blue haired questions you.
"In a second." The soft voice protests, waiting for your response. "I don't tell strangers my personal life." You raise an eyebrow suspiciously. "Well my name is Tetsuya Kuroko and that over there is Taiga Kagami, we're both middle schoolers from Seirin High."
"Dude don't tell random chicks my name." The red boys yells at him, as you look at him a bit skeptically, squinting your eyes. "You sure his ass is in highschool, blink twice if you need help." Kuroko cracks a soft grin.
"No, no he's a teenager." Kuroko reassures softly, causing you to sigh softly as you sit back in the ground where you were previously. "That's good, thought the old man was gonna kidnap me or something." Kagami yells at you again, as he rants about how he's not an old man.
All you do is grin at him, until he gets bored and rolls his eyes ready to walk away. "Whatever, Kuroko let's go I'm starving." Kuroko nods and hold his hand out towards you. "You wanna join you look like you could use it."
A little stunned by his kindness your cheeks flush as you shrug "Why not, what's the harm in it." As you grab his soft hands and follow the red and blue haired duo along, Kagami insists that Kuroko shouldn't have brought you along and that's he not an old man.
You can't help it, their chaotic energy is contagious so much so that you grin the whole walk.
So if anyone's to blame it should be these two.
Nobody should have let you meet red and blue.

𝗘𝗫𝗣𝗥𝗘𝗦𝗦𝗜𝗢𝗡𝗦 𝗡𝗘𝗩𝗘𝗥 𝗦𝗛𝗢𝗪𝗘𝗗 𝗖𝗢𝗥𝗥𝗘𝗖𝗧𝗟𝗬 𝗢𝗡 𝗬𝗢𝗨𝗥 𝗙𝗔𝗖𝗘.
Small things that should generate some kind of response or emotion never came upon your own face. With a rough childhood full of distrust, absentee parents, and inability to form lasting and meaningful relationships, you naturally grew unfazed to whatever may come onto your path. In fact, you tread through life without the need to socialize with others or care enough to express your inner feelings. It just wasn’t important to go through things that only brought hardship onto yourself.
However, you never expected to have your whole perspective on life to be changed in one day at your new school.
Walking into the building was much like any other normal day for you except that you were immediately greeted by plenty of students, all of whom were upperclassmen happily celebrating the arrival of the fresh batch of underclassmen. You were bombarded by many smiling faces, colorful gifts, and even a couple of friendly hugs from the other students, yet none of that could change the bored expression on your face.
With your class schedule and locker assignment printed on the paper in your hand, you haphazardly made your way towards the hallway where your locker was supposed to be. However, upon arriving in the hallway, you found a couple of students in a group standing right where your locker should be. A composed manner in your step brought you closer to the group, and you signaled the one closest to you by poking his shoulder with your finger.
In an instant, the student turned around, forcing his yellowish-blonde hair to swish along with his turning head. His caramel, brown eyes were on full display along with a typical, smiley face.
Just as his mouth opened to ask a question, you started first, speaking in an annoyed tone, “You and your buddies are standing in front of my locker.”
The boy’s face immediately twisted into a confused expression, and his head turned to look over at his friends who all had a similar expression pressed on their faces.
“Well? Are you going to move, or not?” your patience growing thin within you as your eyebrows furrowed. The boy scratched the back of his head and nodded, speaking a little off guard, “Uh… yeah, sure. Let’s go someplace else guys.”
Your eyes watched everyone within the group make the space in front of your locker available, allowing you to walk up to it. Unbeknownst to you, pondering, caramel eyes captured your figure as you were shoving the copious amounts of enormous gifts into the small space of your locker.
Whispers inched towards the blonde haired boy’s ears, specifically about the strange way you didn’t go all insane when seeing their friend’s face like all the other students do. When it came to the attention he got in school, Kise Ryouta would fully indulge himself into it, going from taking pictures to signing his modeling magazines. There was never a time where he wasn’t the center of attention anywhere, yet today, the lack of attention from a student he’s never seen was enough to peak his curiosity.
“Kise, you coming?” one of his friends called out from down the hall. Pushing the thought to the back of his mind, Kise turned to nod in response, “Yeah, coming.”
He jogged a little to reach his friends and was quickly sucked into whatever the topic of the conversation was, all while reminiscing the brief moment between the two of you.
.・゜゜・
Apart from the dread that comes with school and doing work for you, the weather outside was perfect for a lovely lunch break spent outdoors. As soon as the bell signaling the beginning of the lunch period sounded, you rushed out of the hallway and towards the open, green area that rested along the side of the school where the gymnasiums were located. You found an unoccupied bench directly in front of one of the gymnasium doors and underneath the cover of the paved walkway towards it, and you sat down, crossing your leg over the other.
You pulled out your lunch from within your bag and immediately started to soothe the ache in your stomach from the amount of angry growling it has sounded throughout the day. The first bite into your self-made lunch was the most relaxing bite of food in a while, and you were glad that the weather also complied with this idea if yours.
Indulging in your food made you unaware of the side doors from where you came opening and closing, allowing a lonesome boy to come out. Kise ran a hand through his hair as he glanced out at the clearing where many people were sitting and enjoying their lunch. That’s when his caramel, brown eyes landed upon your figure. It wasn’t entirely clear that you were enjoying your food, but from the sight of your head bobbing up and down as if you were jamming to a song, Kise knew that you must be having something delicious for lunch.
The interaction that the two of you shared this morning made its way back into Kise’s mind. Your laid back, stoic expression was intriguing him by the minute, and it didn’t stop him from beginning to walk over to where you were seated.
At the sound of light footsteps, you glanced up from your lunch, allowing your eyes to land upon Kise’s form heading close to you.
“This bench is occupied,” you stated, stuffing another piece of your food in your mouth. The eye contact between the two of you was so strong that Kise felt a shiver run down his spine. Kise began to scratch the back of his head as the nerves were getting to him. “I–I can see that. Must be some good food you got there,” Kise responded.
As much as you were plain in facial expressions, you weren’t a heartless person. Without a doubt in your mind, you held your container up to Kise, forcing his eyes to crisscross due to how close it was to him. “You can try it if you’d like. I made it myself,” you offered.
“Are you sure?” Kise asked cautiously. It was as if he lost the ability to talk to people with how different you were acting towards him. “It’s up to you. I don’t mind it,” you said, still holding the container out in front of him.
Kise nodded and grabbed one of the rice balls inside. You lowered the container back down and grabbed a cracker from the container, but your eyes never left Kise as he tasted the rice ball you made from scratch. He covered his mouth with his hand as he chewed, a trick he learned to avoid unappealing paparazzi pictures. You watched his caramel eyes widen and look inside the rice ball to catch a glimpse of the filling.
“Wow, this is one of the best rice balls I’ve ever had,” Kise exclaimed, continuing to mutter wow as he ate.
For the first time in a long time, your chest ached a new, but pleasant, kind of ache as your heart fluttered. A fiery blush rose in color within your cheeks, and your face changed ever so slightly to adjust to the newfound emotion bubbling within you. It felt different to have some attention geared towards you, let alone a silly, little compliment about the deliciousness of your homemade food.
“I was tempted to say that this could be beat by this one place I go with my friends, but no, this one takes the cake,” Kise continued. To be honest, whatever he had said after the compliment he gave you went through one ear and out the other, but it still made you give the boy the lightest of smiles, one that no one has the right to see. “By the way, I never caught your name. I bet it’s as beautiful as this rice ball,” Kise said, lifting the food in his hand a little higher.
“I–It’s L/N Y/N,” you stuttered. Yes… stuttered because for some reason, the first boy you ever met at this new school was doing things to you that would have not cracked you one bit.
Your eyes caught a pretty smile from the blonde boy before he added, “I knew it was a pretty name. Kise Ryouta.”
Kise stuck his hand out in front of you, and it took a second for you to realize it’s there before you shook it.
“Do you mind if I take a seat next to you?” he asked after your hand left the softness of his. “Um… go ahead,” you mumbled, trying to recompose yourself after momentarily turning into a completely different person.
Kise shrugged his backpack off of his shoulders and dropped it onto the ground next to yours before taking a seat beside you. He happily sat there munching on his rice ball, yet it still made you feel warmer on the inside than when you first arrived at school.
“You know… my friend would absolutely love having these rice balls. He’s a big foodie like I’m talking about the fact that he snacks every second of every day,” Kise mentioned, looking over at you with a bright look on his face. Slowly, the light smile from before reappeared on your face as you spoke up, “Oh really? I’m a pretty big foodie myself, and nobody I know can beat me in those eating competitions.”
Kise held a hand up and furrowed his brows jokingly, “Please. My friend could beat you in an eating competition any day!”
You shook your head and continued to eat the remnants of your food left in the container. “We’ll have to see about that,” you mumbled.
Soon, the bell for the next class period rang, prompting you to pack up your lunch box into your backpack. As you stood up from your spot on the bench, Kise grabbed hold of both of your backpacks as you straightened your uniform. Kise held your backpack in front of you, and it felt so natural to take it from him yet the blush decided to peek in once again.
“It was nice meeting you, Kise. Thank you for sitting with me for lunch,” you said, waving at the boy before turning around to walk away.
Kise couldn’t contain the smile that was showing on his face. Not once did you ask about his professional life as a model, and it was like you genuinely didn’t know a single thing about him. If you were intriguing him before, he was definitely lovestruck now, especially since you make such delicious food.
Just as you were about to head into the main building for class, Kise quickly realized something small but meaningful if he wanted to keep this connection with you. He brought his backpack in front of him to dig through it in the hopes he’d find a paper and pen. With only a pen in his hand, Kise ran towards the door, shoving many people out of the way but not without muttering little apologies.
“Y/N-cchi!” Kise shouted from the doorway. His eyes locked onto your figure that was turning around at the mention of the strange pronunciation of your name.
Your own eyes watched Kise practically fall a couple of times as he was coming up to you. Once he arrived, he was barely out of breath, holding out the pen in his hand.
“Do you have a piece of paper I can borrow?” Kise questioned. You found it strange how he looked slightly disheveled over asking you for paper which of course you didn’t have.
“No, sorr– Wait, Kise!”
Kise wasted no time in yanking your hand towards himself. He clicked the pen in his hand and began to write in the palm of your hand, making you question his actions. With the masterpiece of sloppy handwriting stamped in the palm of your hand, Kise clicked the pen once more and curled your fingers over what he wrote.
“See you later, Y/N-cchi!”
With that, he left you confused in the middle of the hallway, and all you saw was his blonde hair leaving around a corner. You looked down at your wrist and uncurled your fingers to find a phone number along with a message.
rice balls for tomorrow, too pls?
And just like that, a light chuckle came out of your mouth as a result of the many happy thoughts circling your mind… all thanks to the smile on the blonde haired boy’s face.

Word Count: 257
"[Y/n]cchi!" A certain blonde called out to the [h/c]-haired girl.
Said girl spun around, meeting the model's golden hues, yellow locks, and tall structure.
"R-Ryota-kun?" [Y/n] uttered in a soft voice.
"Ah..." Ryota jogged towards her and stopped a meter away, panting while resting his hands on his knees.
"What's the matter, Ryota-kun?" She asked the player who happens to be her upperclassmen. "Do you need something?"
"Well..." the blonde stood upright and glanced down to his underclassmen, scratching his head sheepishly. "I need to come up with names."
"Names?" [Y/n]'s brow raised in confusion.
The model nodded gleefully, blonde locks bouncing as well. "One name for each gender will do."
"Hm..." the [h/c]-haired female placed a finger on her chin and think for a moment, looking up to the skies. "How about Mary and Kino?"
Kise's face lit up, eyes glistening with glee and excitement. He took [Y/n]'s hands into his, eyes closed whilst the girl flustered at his intimate touch.
"Thank you very much, [Y/n]cchi!"
"N-no p-problem, R-R-Ryota-k-kun," [Y/n] stuttered, feeling her heart beats fast against her chest, cheeks heating up and eyes widened in surprise.
Ryota then removed his hands and stood upright, facing the girl with flirtatious smile.
"Well..." [Y/n] glanced away to avoid eye contact. "What's the names for, Ryota-kun?"
His smile grew and grabbed her chin, moving her head to directly face him. [Y/n]'s flustered face deepened.
"Well, [Y/n]cchi, those names are for our future children."

Summary:
Kise doesn’t know when it all begins. He doesn’t know when the blinding camera flashes start to give him earthworms instead of butterflies, crawling around in his stomach. He doesn’t know when his manager berating him about his diet becomes the focus of every phone call, even when he’s trying and has nearly passed out twice in the past week. He doesn’t know when the glitz and glamour peel away like the gold sticker with his name affixed to the dressing room door, fake and gaudy and easily replaced.

Swearing. Mentions of spiked drink & frat party. **This might end up being a Koroku Basketball character. Watching that anime now.** I guess this could apply to Osamu from HQ or Bakugo from MHA.
You followed the rules, all of them, and never gave into temptation. So, how did you end up in some guy's bed with a large t-shirt, your bra and panties on?
You slowly slipped out of the bed, assuming you were at a frat house. You remembered going to a party with your cousin and losing her in the crowd. That nice guy from your business class had brought you a drink.
Oh, damn. Had he spiked it? Why couldn't you remember anything. Before you could start crying from your panic attack, you located your clothes. Dressing quickly and realizing your clothes had dried vomit on them, you resumed your panicking. Luckily, your denim jacket had your house keys still in the pocket.
Quietly, you exited the room into a hall. As you suspected, it was a frat house. Half-naked bodies lay on the floor, empty solo cups littered everywhere.
Once outside, you could breathe again and started towards your off-campus apartment. After a shower and a coffee, you pulled on your favorite sweats and t-shirt. Settling on your couch you were startled by your phone buzzing.
Unknown: YW.
Y/N: Who is this?
Unknown: the guy that saved ur ass.
Y/N: Saved me?
Unknown: that nerd spiked ur drink. again YW
Y/N: Who is this?
Unknown: not giving my name til I get a thx.
Y/N: How do I know you didn't try anything?
You regretted that as soon as you sent it. There was no evidence anyone had touched you inappropriately. And whoever changed you left your bra and panties in place. There hadn't been a guy in the bed with you. So, why did you insult a stranger?
Unknown: wow. u r a bitch. Didn't believe til now.
Y/N: I'm sorry. That was extremely rude.
Unknown: yeah. least I know not 2 bother wu nemore
Y/N: I am sorry. And thank you. Truly.
Unknown: watever. stay away from parties if u can't follow simple rules. never take a drink from sum1 u don't know.
Y/N: Who are you to lecture me?!
Unknown: the fuckin guy that stayed outside his own room by the door makin sur no1 messedd with ya. u walked right past me.
You just stared at the message, your mind racing as you tried to remember anyone you saw on your way out this morning. It was a blank.
Fuck it. You didn't need to know who saved you because you were never going to a party again.
